Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang Manajemen Peningkatan Kompetensi Keahlian guru mata diklat produktif, dari fungsi-fungsi manajemen yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan yang ada di SMK Negeri Adiwerna Kabupaten Tegal. Penelitian ini mengguanakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber informasi yang digunakan sesuai dengan fokus penelitian ini yaitu yang terdiri dari kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Kepala Program Keahlian, guru mata diklat produktif dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan pencatatan isi. Teknik triangulasi dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi langsung dan observasi tidak langsung. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik kualitataif model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen peningkatan kompetensi keahlian guru mata diklat produktif dilakukan dengan menggunakan fungsi-fungsi manajemen melalui perencanaan yang memperhatikan analisis kebutuhan, anggaran yang memadai dan waktu pelaksanaan dengan dasar pengajuan dari kepala program keahlian serta kesesuaian dengan materi pelajaran yang disampaikan ke siswa, alokasi anggaran sekolah yang harus mempertimbangkan kebutuhan anggota program sekolah lainnya, pengorganisasian dilakukan dengan pembagian kerja yang sesuai dengan tugas pokok dengan melalui pendelegasian wewenang yang jelas serta pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan mufakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis e-learning dengan aplikasi Dokumenary pada mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian sebagai media penunjang pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Four-D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket sebagai lembar penilaian yang diberikan kepada ahli materi, ahli media, dan uji coba terbatas kelompok kecil mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Angkatan 2019 sebanyak 21 orang. Data didapat melalui pengujian berupa pre-test dan post-test serta angket yang diolah secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan: Produk yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dari aspek media dengan persentase 90% dan kategori layak dari aspek materi dengan persentase 72%. Hasil uji coba terbatas kelompok kecil kepada 21 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro angkatan 2019 menghasilkan nilai dari pengujian berupa pre-test dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 55,71 dan post-test dengan nilai rata-rata 75,23. Dari perhitungan gain score diperoleh nilai 0,440 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kognitif kategori sedang pada pengguna setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran. Hasil penilaian respon pengguna media E-Learning termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan persentase 81%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, pengembangan pada penelitian ini sangat layak digunakan sebagai media penunjang pembelajaran mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian

Abstract

This classroom action research utilized Duolingo to enhance the grammar mastery of 31 senior high school students in Reported Speech. The research procedures cover; planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The researchers collected data through tests. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in students' grammar of Reported Speech mastery, with test average scores increasing from 56.77 to 85.16. Regarding the result, teachers are suggested to integrate technology-based learning tools like Duolingo to create engaging and interactive learning environments and enhance students‘ mastery. However, it is important to note that individual student progress varied, and some students showed more substantial improvements compared to others. Further analysis and consideration of factors such as individual learning styles, frequency of Duolingo usage, and additional instructional support may help understand the variations in student performance.

Abstract

Background: Dayak Ngaju is a sub-ethnic group of the Dayak tribe in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. This group practices cultural practices as an identity, including the food taboo. Objective: This study aimed to explore the food taboo practices among women of Ngaju Dayaknese living in Central Kalimantan Province. Methods: A qualitative descriptive study was employed. A total of 12 informants were included, consisting of three pregnant women and two breastfeeding women as the main informants, five relatives of each woman, a midwife, and an ethnic leader. The in-depth interview was done in the study of Kartamulya Village, Sukamara District, Central Kalimantan Province. Content analysis was used for data analysis.  Results: All the women were of reproductive age. Types of foods and dishes that are categorized as taboo include unripe pineapple, durian, chempedak, jackfruit; gourami (kalui), catfish/lele, puffer fish/buntal, wallago/tapah, snakehead fish/kerandang, marble goby/bakut/betutu, forest snakehead fish/jujung, shark catfish/patin; luffa gourd/gambas/oyong, bamboo shoots, stinky beans/jengkol; and soda. The food taboo for breastfeeding mothers was not described in detail. Conclusion: There was no reason to accept the scientific aspects of avoiding those foods rationally. Restricting the consumption of food during pregnancy and breastfeeding might have the risk of being anemic. Further study can include the anemia assessment to examine the impact of food taboo practices and anemia. Stakeholders at the village level can collaborate to decrease the negative health impact of food taboo practices on pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

Abstract

The Adiwiyata program is an award given by the government as recognition or appreciation to educational institutions that fully implement environmentally focused education. This study aims to provide an explanation of how in class IV of UPT SD Negeri Kanigoro 03, the Adiwiyata program is used. The qualitative case study conducted interviews with teachers and students, classroom observation, and analysis of documents related to the adiwiyata program to collect data. The results showed that using adiwiyata learning at UPT SDN Kanigoro 03 improved learning outcomes. Students not only acquire academic knowledge, but they also learn the principles of sustainability, preservation of the school environment, and social responsibility. As a result, it can improve students' understanding of their surrounding environment and their learning outcomes.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial element in improving students' academic achievement. Approaches that involve parental mentoring variables and the learning environment are important steps in understanding and increasing student motivation. This study adopts a quantitative approach with a focus on grade IV students as the study population. A total of 69 students were sampled. The results showed that parental assistance and the learning environment had a significant impact on student learning motivation. It was found that parental assistance had an influence of 69.9%, while the learning environment influenced learning motivation by 37.8%. This finding highlights the importance of these independent factors in increasing the enthusiasm for learning of students at the elementary school level, especially in grade IV Cluster 3 of Srengat District, Blitar Regency. This study contributes to the study of the analysis of learning motivation of elementary school students with the following findings. Parental assistance (X1) and learning environment (X2) have a significant effect on student learning motivation. Parental support increases learning motivation, while a supportive learning environment also increases students' desire to learn. The implications of research can inspire parents to intensify their guidance in motivating children's learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examined the manuscript titled "Sir?j al-Makrifat," authored by Muhammad Najib bin Kiagus Muhammad Sholeh in the year 1285 H/1868 AD. Further studies on hadith books produced by Palembang scholars, particularly on this kitab were still scarce. It employ­yed a philological approach, which includes inventorying, providing detailed descriptions, conducting transliterations and editing text. Data analysis was conducted through the method of hadith criticism, focusing on the aspects of sanad (chain of narrators) and matan (content of the hadith). This involves undertaking takhrij hadith (identifying sources of a hadith), i`tibar sanad (evaluating the chain of narrators), analyzing sanad and matan, and concluding the quality of the hadith. The findings of this study suggest that Palembang scholars have made significant contribu­tions to hadith studies, particularly in preserving the tradition of authentic hadith narration. The book "Sir?j al-Makrifat" was a proof of the intellect­tual legacy of Palembang scholars in the field of hadith. It comprises a collection of 206 hadiths of the Prophet SAW about Fadha'il A'mal (virtues of deeds), Targhib (desire for reward), and Tarhib (fear of punishment). A critical analysis of the authenticity of the hadiths of worship found in the book revealed that, of the 100 hadiths studied, 24 are shahih (authentic), 8 are hasan (good), 22 are dha'if (weak), and 19 are maudhu' (fabricated). The status of the other 27 hadiths remains unk­nown. A comparison of "Sir?j al-Makrifat" with the manuscripts MS 63, MS 595, A625, and EAP212/4/2 revealed common themes in hadith books across the archipelago, specifically the Targhib wa Tarhib pattern, which includes hadiths on Fadha'il A'mal and morals. However, Sir?j al-Makrifat appears more philologically comprehensive when compared to other manuscripts. This is evidenced by the book title written in the text and the colophon of the manuscript, which includes the author's name and the year the manuscript was written. Keywords: Malay Hadith Book, Sir?j al-Makrifat, Palembang scholars   ABSTRAK Studi ini membahas naskah Sir?j al-Makrifat karya Muhammad Najib bin Kiagus Muhammad Sholeh yang ditulis pada tahun 1285 H/1868 M. Kajian mendalam terhadap kitab hadis karya ulama Palembang ini belum banyak dikaji oleh para peneliti sehingga sangat penting untuk dilakukan dalam upaya untuk memberikan perhatian yang memadai terhadap keulamaan Palembang dan kontribusinya di bidang hadis. Penelitian ini menggunakan naskah sebagai sumber utama kajiannya, karenanya pendekatan filologi yang dilakukan adalah invent­tarisasi naskah, deskripsi naskah, transliterasi dan suntingan teks. Ada­pun analisis datanya menggunakan metode kritik hadis yang mencakup aspek sanad dan matan dengan tahapannya adalah melakukan takhrij hadis, i`tibar sanad, analisis sanad, analisis matan dan menyim­pulkan kualitas hadis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Palembang mempu­nyai kontribusi besar dalam bidang kajian hadis, terutama dalam men­jaga tradisi  periwayatan hadis bersanad; kedua, Kitab Sir?j al-Makrifat sebagai salah satu warisan intelektual ulama Palembang di bidang hadis berisikan kumpulan 206 hadis Nabi SAW tentang Fadha’il A’mal, Tar­ghib dan Tarhib dan Analisis terhadap keotentikan hadis-hadis ibadah pada kitab Sir?j al-Makrifat menghasilkan temuan bahwa dari 100 hadis yang diteliti, ada 24 hadis yang shahih, 8 hadis hasan, 22 hadis dha’if dan 19 hadis maudhu’, serta 27 hadis yang belum diketahui statusnya; ketiga, berdasarkan perbandingan antara kitab Sir?j al-Makrifat dengan naskah MS 63, MS 595, A625 dan EAP212/4/2 ditemu­kan adanya kesa­maan tema utama dari kitab-kitab hadis di Nusantara yaitu pola Targhib wa Tarhib yang memuat hadis-hadis Fadha’il A’mal dan akhlak. Meski­pun demikian secara filologis naskah Sir?j al-Makrifat relatif lebih lengkap dibandingkan dengan naskah lainnya dibuktikan dengan adanya judul kitab yanag tersurat pada teks dan terdapat kolofon naskah yang menginformasikan nama penulis dan tahun penulisan naskah.   Kata kunci: Kitab Hadis Melayu, Sir?j al-Makrifat, Ulama Palembang

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat yang diprakasai oleh Perpustakaan Bung Karno, Blitar pada bulan November 2022, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan generasi muda Kota Blitar dalam memahami kehidupan Soekarno dalam Bahasa Inggris melalui aplikasi Memrise. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 22 peserta dari sebuah perguruan tinggi di Blitar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari 1) mengadakan pre-test, 2) implementasi pengajaran kosakata terkait kehidupan Soekarno di Hoogere Burgerschool (HBS) dengan Memrise, dan 3) melakukan post-test. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan terhadap penguasaan vocabulary peserta dari 45% pada pre-test menjadi 77% pada post-test.Dari hasil tersebut, penulis merekomendasikan agar pengajar meamanfaatkan teknologi, seperti aplikasi Memrise untuk mendukung pembelajaran bahasa dan sejarah khususnya kosakata. Keberhasilan pengabdian masyarakat ini juga menggarisbawahi pentingnya kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan dan masyarakat dalam mencapai tujuan bersama untuk meningkatkan pemahaman sejarah nasional dan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Campus culture has a big influence on the formation of a student's character. As a student studying on an Islamic campus, you definitely have to have an Islamic character. The Islamic character formed from campus culture will reflect a student's personality, both in daily life and in the teaching and learning process. Character formation is very important to instill, especially in prospective elementary school teacher students. This is done through teaching activities in elementary school social studies learning. Elementary social studies is a subject that teaches how to interact with others. To provide good student interactions, good character is also needed, especially the Islamic character of students who will later become output from Balitar Islamic University. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained from direct observations in the field show that campus culture is related to the formation of Islamic character through elementary social studies learning. The campus culture includes: dhikr and prayers every Friday morning, Ramadan festivals, covering the intimate parts, saying hello, praying before and after studying.

Abstract

As a school leader, the principal must be able to lead, direct and supervise teachers, and carry out school activities that require good communication skills. Good and effective communication will be able to build cooperation between school principals and teachers; school principals can provide guidance to teachers; can direct and develop teacher performance so that teachers can improve their abilities and skills in teaching so that teachers are expected to increase their work productivity. Another factor that can affect teacher work productivity comes from within, namely teacher professionalism. With the existence of professional teachers, it is expected that teacher work productivity will also increase. This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's communication skills on the work productivity of teachers at SD Negeri Tlogobodosari II and SD Negeri Andonosari I; and knowing the influence of teacher professionalism on work productivity at SD Negeri Tlogobodosari II and SD Negeri Andonosari I. This type of research is a quantitative research where a questionnaire is given to all teachers who work at SD Negeri Tlogobodosari II and SD Negeri Andonosari I. The results showed that there was an influence of the principal's communication skills on the work productivity of teachers at SD Negeri Tlogobodosari II and SD Negeri Andonosari I which was carried out by means of criticism and suggestions; holding training/seminars; and motivation as indicated by the communication results of 91.00% and 89.75%, respectively, and the teacher's work productivity of 92.25% and 91.50%, respectively. In addition, there is also an influence of teacher professionalism on teacher work productivity at SD Negeri Tlogobodosari II and SD Negeri Andonosari I because if a teacher is a professional teacher then the teacher will have the ability, education, and skills in teaching so that it will increase teacher work productivity marked with the results of the distribution of teacher professionalism questionnaires of 89.75% and 89.00%, respective.
