Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to describe how Kumala’s waste bank management as an ecological character development. The subject of this study is the management of the Kumala garbage banks, and the surrounding communities. The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data-collection techniques that are done are interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis used is the collecting of data, the reduction of data, the presentation of data and the drawing of conclusions. The validity of data made by testing credibility and engineering triangulation. Research found that the management of garbage done by 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recyle) that was later developed to 5R (Reduce, Reuse, Recyle, Resale and Reshare). Ecological character development through recycling and crafting activities. The barriers to waste management and environmental character development of education, knowledge, perception, income, goverment/public character roles, and infrastructure tools. Environmental character development solutions include education about waste banks and the importance of keeping the ward clean. Keywords: Waste Management, Bank Trash, and Environmental Character.

Abstract

Indonesia is located between 3 tectonic plates, which are the Pacific plate, the Indo-Australian plate, and the Eurasian plate. These 3 plates can collide with each other and can cause earthquakes and tsunamis, based on BNPB data, and in the Indonesia Disaster Risk Index (known as IRBI), Banten province is included in the high-risk class for disasters, including tsunami disasters. The location of the current research was carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Pandeglang and SMA Negeri 15 Pandeglang which were on the coast that were prone to tsunami disasters. The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between government and schools in tsunami disaster preparedness. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research results, it is known that the government could demonstrate its role in disaster management through 4 (four) ways, which were legislation, institutions, planning, and capacity building. The results showed that the Pandeglang Regency Government in this case the Pandeglang Regency BPBD was quite successful in Tsunami Disaster Mitigation Education at the Pandeglang Coastal School Banten. In carrying out disaster risk reduction efforts, the Pandeglang Regency Government had a legal basis and was also able to formulate disaster mitigation strategies in schools, which were the establishment of Disaster Resistant Schools (known as STB) and the formation of the Pandeglang Regency Regional Disaster Management Task Force (known as PBD.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Marriage certificate is proof of marriage registration at the KUA, so that marriages can be recognized by the state and protected by law. But unfortunately, there are still people who do not have a marriage certificate. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the level of legal awareness as well as to analyze the factors that caused the community in Sukasaba Village, Munjul District not to have a Marriage Certificate. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative, where data collection is carried out by direct interviews with informants / respondents. Research subjects (informants) are residents who do not have a marriage certificate validated by triangulation of sources by village officials and KUA Munjul sub-district. The results of this study are that there are 3 people who do not have a marriage certificate on the grounds of not knowing the existence of the Marriage Law and the obligation to register their marriage at the KUA, 3 people who do not have a marriage certificate for economic reasons, and there are 14 people who argue that it is not a problem even though they do not have a marriage certificate because old.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana media e-learning berbasis android mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Panggarangan tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif. Populasi yang diteliti yaitu siswa kelas XII. Proportionate stratified random sampling digunakan sebagai pengambilan sampel untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian, dengan menggunakan angket dan soal tes berupa pilihan ganda. Dari hasil analisis data, variabel X (media e-learning) memiliki pengaruh terhadap Y (hasil belajar). Hal ini dibuktikan berdasarkan nilai signifikansi (dari tabel coefficients) diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,001 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa, variabel X berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y dengan perolehan nilai thitung= 8,931 > ttabel =1,685 yang mengindikasikan korelasi X dan Y memiliki keeratan hubungan yang sangat kuat.

Abstract

The research was conducted against the backdrop of students' difficulty understanding the subject matter and their lack of enthusiasm for teaching and learning activities, which affected their learning results when they participated in class. This study uses the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model in Pancasila Education courses with mutual cooperation materials to investigate whether or not there are changes in learning outcomes and student performance. Descriptive analytical research methodology using a qualitative approach is employed. This study's findings showed a 13.5% rise. The average score was 77.5% before receiving the Team Games Tournament (TGT) therapy; following the Team Games Tournament (TGT) treatment, the average score increased to 91%.  In session 1 the number of students who met the good criteria was 68%, while in session 2 it was 100%.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic not only has an impact on health, but other sectors are also affected by the outbreak of Covid-19. The Covid-19 pandemic will become a complex problem for the country if it is prolonged and not handled properly. This research aims to find out how the actualization of the state defense attitude is in the context of awareness of implementing the Covid-19 health protocol among the community in the Pasar Rau area of ​​Serang City, Banten Province. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data is collected through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The research results show that understanding and awareness regarding the implementation of the Covid-19 health protocol rules as a form of state defense carried out by the community is still low, due to low literacy regarding Covid-19 prevention plus the existence of wrong views about Covid-19. Efforts are needed from the Serang City government and also the community to overcome the dangers of Covid-19, while there are still obstacles faced by the community in implementing health protocol rules. During the Covid-19 pandemic conditions, the public can actualize efforts to defend the country by having the understanding and awareness to prevent Covid-19, because defending the country covers a wide range of things in the life of the nation and state. The government and society must work together to overcome and deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. Good public understanding and awareness in preventing Covid-19 can minimize the occurrence of Covid-19 infection and reduce the impact caused by Covid-19.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the Implementation of the Driving School in Forming Pancasila–based Student Profiles. This research was conducted in the Driving School program at SMP Negeri 1 Karangtanjung, Pandeglang Regency. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method of collecting data using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the strategy used by the Driving School in forming the Pancasila-based Student Profiles was by conducting two different but interrelated learning, namely intra or general learning and thematic project learning. In addition, school principal has an important role in the process of forming the Pancasila-based Student Profiles and developing the teachers’ competencies. The obstacles faced by the school principal, teachers and students can be overcome by coordination and cooperation with the government, both among the teachers, and the students can be overcome by coordination and cooperation among the government, the teachers, the parents of students, the expert companions, and public education office.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki tujuan untuk membentuk kepribadian dan meningkatkan kemampuan individu. Kurikulum berperan penting dalam proses pendidikan. Kurikulum merdeka menjadi kurikulum yang berlaku saat ini di Indonesia. Kurikulum merdeka ini mengutamakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan fokus pada pengembangan karakter dan kompetensi melalui pengalaman nyata, seperti yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian mengenai tema budaya lokal pada kegiatan P5 untuk memperkuat karakter siswa SMP Negeri 8 Kota Cilegon. Metode pada penelitian ini adalaj metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi implementasi P5 dalam penguatan karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program P5 di SMP Negeri 8 Kota Cilegon mampu meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap budaya lokal, seperti rasa bangga terhadap daerah sendiri dan kemampuan bekerja sama. Dari kegiatan tersebut terbentuk karakter siswa selaras dengan enam dimensi profil pelajar pancasila.

Abstract

The vast diversity that exists in Indonesia, aside from being a valuable national asset, can also become a trigger for conflict. Many conflicts and disputes arise due to differences in background, such as ethnicity, race, religion, and others. This study aims to explore the extent to which Pancasila Education can contribute to multicultural life in schools and to analyze how far it can shape and instill multicultural values that embrace diversity within the school environment. The findings of this study were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving research subjects including Pancasila Education teachers, the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, and students. The collected data were then analyzed. The results indicate that Pancasila Education plays a significant role in the multicultural lives of students at school. Students believe that Pancasila Education provides them with a deeper understanding of multicultural values such as tolerance, democracy, justice, and equality. Pancasila Education is vital in fostering multiculturalism among high school students because it is fundamentally a subject that emphasizes character, values, and morals. It not only teaches theoretical concepts but also stresses the importance of applying those concepts in daily life. This research is beneficial for various stakeholders to understand and strengthen multiculturalism, especially in schools, by promoting attitudes such as tolerance, democracy, justice, and equality, which are essential for building and maintaining harmony and unity within the school community.

Abstract

Abstract   This research addressed the issue of early marriage, which remains a frequent occurrence in Serang City, highlighting the need for effective prevention efforts. The purpose of this study is to assess the role of the Department of Women Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning (DP3AKB) in preventing early marriage in Serang City. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation to provide clear and detailed insights into the phenomena or facts observed in the field. The findings of this study reveal that the prevalence of early-age marriages in Serang City remains considerably high, with a total of 21 couples officially registered in 2024. As a regulatory body, the DP3AKB of Serang City plays a crucial role in shaping policies through the enactment of regional regulations and actively engages in coordination and collaboration with various relevant stakeholders. As a catalyst, the DP3AKB of Serang City has delivered guidance through the Communication, Information, and Education program targeting the community, particularly parents and children. Furthermore, in its role as a facilitator, the DP3AKB of Serang City provides free consultation services through the Family Learning Center (PUSPAGA) program. Therefore, this role is anticipated to be increasingly proactive and sustainable in mitigating the incidence of early marriage in Serang City through comprehensive programs, educational initiatives, and the reinforcement of cross-sectoral collaboration.   Keywords: Early Marriage, The Role of Government
