Abstract

The objectives of the research were to know the effect of temperature and duration of gelatinization against bioplastic characteristic of seaweed Ulvalactuca, also to know the appropriate level off temperature and duration of gelatinization to produce good characteristic of bioplastic Ulvalactuca. This study used a randomized block group factorial design. The first factor is temperature of gelatinization which tried were 60 ± °C, 70 ± °C, and 80 ± °C. The second factor of gelatinization duration consists of 3 levels ie 5, 10, and 15 minutes bath Experiment performed hearts 2 Group that sotamed 18 Unit experiment variable. Observed variables of biodegradability, bioplastic thickness, volume bioplastic development, water vapor absorption, and transformation of air vapor / vapor water permeability (WVP). The results showed that the temperature and duration of gelatinization and its interaction did not have a real effect on air absorption and air vaporization transformation, but the temperature of gelatinization had an effect on the thickness, the bioplastic development volume and the biodegradation strength The gelatinization temperature of 80 1 ° C and 5 Minutes gelatinization time alginate bioplastic From seaweed Ulva lactuca Best with characteristics: The presenase of mass reduction as much as 0,37 %, water vapor transformation with mass increase about 0,0182 g / cm², thickness 0,050 mm, bioplastic volume development 10,45%, and water vapor absorption 3,23% / minute. Abstract

Cost of production is an overall charge that is used to create the product in the company. The accuracy of determining the cost of production to be crucial for the company, because the cost of production becomes a reference selling price and affect the company's revenue. The purpose of this study was to calculate all components of the cost production consists of raw material costs, labour costs and factory overhead costs, as well as applying method of determining the cost production for the product salacca and jackfruit chips in Farmers Group Adi Guna Harapan Karangasem Bali. The study used two methods of determining the cost production, that is full costing and variable costing. Results of the study period in February 2015 shows the components of production costs consist of raw material costs, labour costs and factory overhead costs in manufacturing salacca and jackfruit chips. Raw material costs of salacca chips to produce 100 grams packs is Rp 3,732,000,-, jackfruit chips Rp 3,912,000,-, direct labour costs each one Rp 3,348,000,-, factory overhead costs each one Rp 1,560,236,- and non-production costs Rp 1,169,875,-. Cost production of salacca chips with full costing method is Rp 10,000,- with a selling price Rp 12,900,- of 100 grams, while jackfruit chips Rp 10,200,- with a selling price Rp 13,100,- of 100 grams. The cost production of salacca chips with variable costing method is Rp 9,000,- with a selling price Rp 14,300,- of 100 grams, while jackfruit chips Rp 9,200,- with a selling price Rp 14,500,- of 100 grams. Abstract

This research were aimed to 1) investigate the effect of washing frequency and boiling time to the heavy metal levels of Pb and Cd as well as sensory quality of green mustard 2) to determine an appropriate washing frequency and boiling time to reduce heavy metal levels and to produce the preferable green mustard characteristic. This experiment used randomized block design with 2 factors. The first factor was the washing frequency consists of 3 levels namely once, twice, 3 times washing. The second factor was boiling time consists of 3 levels namely 1 minute, 2 minutes and 3 minutes. Each treatment conducted twice based on implementation time so that obtained 18 units experiment.The objective and subjective data analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan test. The results of this research showed that washing frequency, boiling time and its interaction had high significant effect to the heavy metal levels Pb and Cd as well as hedonic level on color, texture and overall acceptance of green mustard. Treatment combination of 3 time washing frequency with 3 minutes boiling time(C3R3) was the best treatment with 0.4717 ppm Pb content and 0.4223 ppm Cd content, with sensory values on color 4.65 (green to old green), 3.50 (quite soft to hard) and overall accaptence 3,80 (average to great) Keywords : Brassica rapa I. Abstract

This research was an effort to repair and strengthen the bioplastic pull using Ratio Variations Taro Tuber Starch (Xanthosoma sagittifolium) and Carrageenan. The purposes of the research was to know the effect of the ratio variations of taro tuber starch and carrageenan with glycerol and shakes the bioplastic composites of ratio variation which produces the best characteristics. This research uses factorial random block designs with ratio variations of taro tuber starch and carrageenan with a total 6 grams which consists of 6 levels were 5.5:0.5 ; 5:1 ; 4.5:1.5 ; 4:2 ; 3.5:2.5 and 3:3. The observed variables include mechanical test consisting of tensile strength, elongation at break, modulus young, swelling, biodegradation, and FTIR. The data were analyzed of variant and continued with the HSD Tukey. The result of the research showed that ratio variations of taro starch and carrageenan had significant to elongation at break, very significant effects on tensile strength and modulus young but ratio variations in taro starch and carrageenan non significant to sweeling and biodegradation. The best characteristic with moderate properties standart tensile strength (3.210±0.125) MPa, degradation with ASTM 5336 standart have time 6-7 days, elongation at break (20.7±0.038) %, modulus young (15.912±3.157) MPa, sweeling (43,695 ± 1,151) %, and contain hydrocarbon functional groups -(CH2)n, alkenes (CH), amines and amides (CN), alkohols, ethers, carboxylic acids and esters (CO), aldehydes, ketones, esters (C=O ), alkyne (C?C), monomer alkohol (OH), nitro compound (NO2), aromatic ring (C=C), hydrogen bonding carboxylic acid (OH). Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: (1) find out the attribute of products and services that are considered important by customers to achieve customer satisfaction of the quality products and service. (2) determine the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of products and services. (3) Determine attributes that need to get a priority in quality improvement of products and services to enhance customers satisfaction at Voltvet Eatery and Coffee. This research uses the methods of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and the Potential Gains In Customer Values (PGCV) that includes quality products including food, beverage, coffee, price and promotion, while the quality of service including physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, respondents used amounted to 94. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 applications and microsoft excel. The Result of the research showed that all of the product and service quality attribute are considered important by customers. The level of customer satisfaction based on the CSI to quality product is 82,85% and on services 83,83%, which shows that customers very satisfied with product and service at Voltvet Eatery and Coffee. Quality attribute product that needs attention is the presentation with a PGCV index value 4.017; discount with the value of the index PGCV 3.891; and the consistency of food per serving with the value of the index PGCV 3.838; while services quality attribute that need to gain priority are availability of parking lots with the value of the index PGCV 4.200; wifi facilities with the value of the index PGCV 3.636, and employee appearance with indeks of PGCV 3.121. Abstract

The purposes of this research were to define priority of criteria to development of commodities for community based agro-tourism at village Candikuning II and to determine the type of commodity priorities. This research using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, to define priorities and criteria agro commodities is a priority in the development of agro -tourism. Data obtained from interviews and questionnaires with five persons experts well experienced to development of commodities for community based agro -tourism. Results of interviews a nd questionnaires were analysed with AHP method use Excel program. The research concludes that the types of commodities that became the priority agro tourism at village Candikuning II based on the value of the priority are “strawberry”3.746,” ornamental plants / cutting flowers”2.101; and “vegetables” 1,209. The criteria that become priority criteria to development of commodities for community based agro -tourism village at Candikuning II are raw material (0.269); followed by technology used (0.184); marketing (0.169); employment (0.128); environmental aspects (0,113); investment (0.081); and than motivation of farmers (0.056).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the attributes that are considered important by consumers to achieve customer satisfaction, determine the level of performance in Twissterdog, know the level of satisfaction or level of consumer suitability of products and services in Twissterdog, and determine the attributes that need to get priority from the company to achievement of customer satisfaction. This research was conducted in Twissterdog with the sample used was 97 respondents by using purposive and accidental sampling method. Data obtained from the questionnaire distribution were analyzed by Importance Performance Analysis method. The result of research shows that attribute with highest level of customer satisfaction on product quality is clarity of name and logo of company with satisfaction level 222%, attribute with lowest satisfaction level is price match with consumer interest, food presentation and price match with product quality with satisfaction level equal to 80.84%. Attributes with the highest level of customer satisfaction on the quality of service is the hospitality of the waiter and the courtesy of the waiter with a satisfaction level of 218%. Attribute with the lowest level of customer satisfaction on the quality of service is the convenience of café with a satisfaction level of 43%. Attributes that should be prioritized on product quality are price conformity with consumer interest, food presentation and price conformity with product quality. The attributes that must be prioritized on the quality of service is the ease of reaching the location, the cleanliness of the cafe, the availability of parking facilities and the convenience of the cafe. Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the temperature and time of gelatinization and its interactions on the composite characteristics of bioplastics glucomannan and cornstarch with to obtain gelatinization temperature and time to produce the best bioplastic glucomannan and cornstarch composites. This study used factorial randomized block design. Factor 1 gelatinization temperature consisting of 3 levels, namely 70 ± 1; 75 ± 1; 80 ± 1°C. Factor 2 is gelatinization time, for 2, 3 and 4 minutes. Variables observed included tensile strength, elongation at break, young modulus, swelling, biodegradation and functional group profile. The data were analyzed for diversity and continued with the BNJ test. The results showed that the temperature and time of gelatinization and their interactions had a very significant effect on tensile strength and elasticity. The temperature and time of gelatinization had a very significant effect but did not interact with elongation and did not significantly affect the swelling and biodegradation of bioplastic composites. The best bioplastic glucomannan and maizene composites were at a temperature treatment of 80 ± 1°C and 4 minutes gelatinization time with tensile strength characteristics (3.390 mpa); elasticity (35.811 mpa); elongation at break (12.3%); swelling (68.13%); degradation time of 8 days and contains hydroxyl (O–H) functional groups, alkene (C– H), carboxyl (C–O), carbonyl (C=O) and alkyne (C?C). Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the use of digital marketing conducted by Humble Espresso in Denpasar City. Knowing the attributes of products and services that are considered important by consumers to achieve customer satisfaction with the quality of products and services. Calculating the performance and level of customer satisfaction to the quality of service. Specify the attributes that need to get priority improvements. This study uses the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) analysis method. Sampling using Slovin and Lemeshow formulation method with the number of respondents as many as 86 respondents at Humble Espresso and 100 respondents for the spread of external questionnaires in Denpasar. The results showed that the influence of digital marketing that has been done by Humble Espresso is customers like the content displayed on Humble Espresso Instagram media in the form of photos, videos, or instastory that has an impact on the increasing customer buying interest. The most important product and service attributes that Humble Espresso has to achieve customer satisfaction is the friendliness of employee attitude with the highest score of 401. Attributes with the highest level of performance in the quality of service is good communication ability by obtaining the highest score of 388, attributes with the highest satisfaction level on the quality of service is modern equipment by obtaining the highest satisfaction level of 101%. Attributes that become the priority of improvement in Humble Espresso based on the analysis of IPA method is a comfortable room, the willingness of employees to respond quickly to customer complaints, the ability of employees to serve customer complaints quickly, the suitability of prices with product quality, and affordable prices. Abstract

This research were aimed to 1) find out the effect of comparison between water and taro and sodium metabisulphite consentration as marinade solution on the quality of taro starch, 2) to find out the best characteristic of taro starch based on comparison of water and taro and sodium metabisulphite consentration as marinade solution. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design with factorial pattern. The first factor was the comparison of water and taro consists of 3 levels namely 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1 and the second factor wasconcentration of sodium metabisulphite consetration consists of 3 levels namely 0 %, 0.2% and 0.3%. Each treatment grouped into two based on the time implementation. Variables observed were water content, starch content, amilosa, organoleptic test and yield. The best treatment was determined with effectiveness index. The results showed that the comparison of water and taro and sodium metabisulphite consentration as marinade solution had high significantly effect on water content and amilosa content at characteristic of taro starch, while its interaction was not significant. Comparison of water and sodium metabisulphite substance and its interaction had significantly effect on starch content of taro and its yield. The treatment concentration of sodium metabisulphite 0.3 % and comparison water and taro 4:1obtained the best quality of taro starch with 8.87 % water content, 65.23 % starch content, 15.75 % amilosa content, 3.84 multiple comparison test (near to Refrence) and 21.58 % yield.
