Abstract

Beverage  of “kunyit-asam”  was being familiar  in  the society  as  a  traditional  herbs,  fresh  beverage,  and  potential antioxidant. However,  it’s industry  not  yet much done in home industry scale.This  research aimed to  evaluate  investment  value which needed  and  financial  feasibility  of “kunyit-asam” powderindustry  in home  industry  scale.  The  analysis  which  used in financial  feasibility  i.e. :  Net Present Value (NPV),  InternalRate of Return (IRR),  Pay Back Period (PBP),  Break EvenPoint (BEP), Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net  B/C), and sensitivityanalysis.Investment value which needed for planning  of “kunyit-asam”  powder industry  in  home  industry  scale  is  Rp. 52.364.065.  The  analysis  of  financial  feasibility  of  “kunyit-asam”  powder industry in home industry scale is feasible based on some value of investment criteria.

Abstract

Cocoa  is  a  prospective commodity  export  and  as  a superior commodity of estate crops in Bali. The quality of cocoa is  very  various  and  majority  farmer  processing  it  without fermentation.This  research  aimed  to  determine  minimal  price  of  raw material of wet bean cocoa from the farmer and difference price between  fermented  and  non-fermented  cocoa  as processing incentive which  must  be  give to the  farmer. The research  was done in the farmer group of estate crops of Tabanan Regency.The  processing  unit  of  the  farmer  group  of  estate  crops must  be  buy  a  wet  of  cocoa  bean  from  the  farmer  is  with minimal price Rp. 4.180 per kg. Difference price fermented and non-fermented  cocoa  as  processing  incentive  which  must  be give  to  the  farmer  is  minimal  Rp.  4.590  per  kg,  if  the  price  of non-fermented cocoa is Rp. 11.000 per kg.

Abstract

This research objective was to know the profile of an area which will be developed as an agro-tourism area in order to increase the economic activities of the area. The profile of the area was studied through a potency analysis by using a factor analysis on several economic potential namely agro-estate, industry, and tourism. Meanwhile, the projection analysis od estate commodity production and tourism arrival when using a forecasting method. Jembrana Regency has some centers of estate commodity which could developed as an agro-tourism area. This potency is also supported by the existence of industrial sector and the increasing trend of tourism arrival. So that, development of new tourist objects, such as agro-tourism at Jembrana Regency is still prospective.

Abstract

PERENCANAAN AGREGAT PRODUK SELAI BUAH DENGAN METODE TRANSPORTASI (STUDI KASUS: PT. BALI FRUIT, DALUNG, KUTA UTARA, BADUNG). Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Buah Bali, Dalung, Kuta Utara, Badung. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah selai buah buatan sendiri. Peramalan permintaan dilakukan karena permintaan yang berfluktuasi di perusahaan ini. Perencanaan produksi pada perusahaan belum efektif sehingga perencanaan agregat diperlukan untuk mengetahui biaya produksi paling minimum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan waktu standar produksi selai, perkiraan permintaan, dan perencanaan agregat yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan dalam perkiraan permintaan adalah Simple Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, dan Trend Linear. Metode perencanaan agregat yang digunakan adalah metode Transportasi dengan alternatifnya adalah tenaga kerja tetap dan tenaga kerja diubah. Waktu standar selai mangga, selai nanas, dan produksi selai stroberi adalah 1,09 jam / kg. Peramalan permintaan yang harus dilakukan adalah dengan metode Exponential Smoothing dengan ? = 0,9. Hasil peramalan dijadikan referensi sebagai jumlah permintaan untuk perencanaan agregat. Perencanaan agregat yang tepat adalah dengan tenaga kerja alternatif diubah karena menghasilkan biaya produksi paling minimum, yaitu Rp 422.160.690,69 untuk Mei hingga Oktober 2019.

Abstract

This research aims to know the level of employees satisfaction, influence of compensation variables and which variable that may influence the level of employees satisfactory, also to know the position of each compensation variable toward level of employees satisfaction in Kopi Banyuatis Company. One of method that’s applied in this research was survey method. Data of this research were collected by spreading the questionnaire to 48 chosen respondents. The test which is done in this research, there are validity test, reliability test, index of satisfaction test, F test, and importance performance analysis. Result of the research shows that the level of employees satisfactory is as high as 82,43 percent toward variable of company compensation. The twelve chosen variables are very significantly influenced toward the level of employees satisfactory. Position of each variable which included in quadrant I are: the variable of company policy, responsibility of manager toward their task, chance for employees to pray, variable of comfortable working environment, comfortable working area, amount of salary, amount of employees social security, amount of holiday allowances, working uniform, rights leave fulfillment, and dispensation for illness, and self training & developing for employees.

Abstract

As one of the popular tourist attraction, the number of visitor in Bali has been increased every years, and the number of foreign tourist stayed in Bali has been increased either. This condition has given the positive impact to the restaurant, and other facilities which is support the tourism services. Tourism industry needs vegetables with the healthy quality, fresh, clean, and with the continuously safety guarantee on it. This situation has grown the chance to conserve the vegetables with the organic system. The main objective of this research are, (1) understanding the consumer’s wishes upon the quality of the fresh organic vegetables. (2) understanding the consumers satisfaction on the fresh vegetable organic; and (3) to formulate the strategy in improving the quality products of organic fresh vegetable. This research has been conducted in CV Golden Leaf Farm. CV GLF is a agroindustry organic vegetables company located at Asah Gobleg main street,Wanagiri village, Sukasada Distric, Buleleng Regency. And the method has been used in this research is the quality function deployment (QFD). QFD has the function to define all the consumer wishes on vegetables related to existances of parameter methodology in the company. In order to understanding the way to fulfill the highest consumer’s wishes. The result of this research shows the specification of the consumer wishes upon the organic vegetables products quality on CV. GLF are the cleanness, the freshness, and the food safety. The length period, color, size, and the standardization form of the products on CV . GLF has generated the number of consumer with the satisfaction categories such satisfy and fully satisfy. The satisfaction category has been reached by the attributed of freshness, size, color, the length period, food safety, and the shape standardization. While the cleanness attributes has included into the satisfaction categories. The strategy to improve the fresh organic quality of vegetable in CV,GLF are, a) To fulfill the consumer satisfaction, the attribute priority which necessary being revised or being evaluated are the attribute in the length period of the fruit, size, the shape standardization, color, the food safety, and the freshness, and b) to improve the consumer satisfaction upon the quality of vegetables quality so the technique  of parameter quality should be revised is the way of permanent saving quality, the cleansing, packaging, and sortation.

Abstract

Competitiveness of Bali tourism lays on the variety of attractions offered to visitors. Subak-based agritourism in Jatiluwih is one of the competitiveness of cultural based of Bali tourism which offer an amazing rice field terrace and variety of agritourism activities. Understanding the role of brand destination in influencing satisfaction of visitors is very important. Evaluating relationship between satisfaction and intention to be loyal are crucial. The research objectives were: (i) to analyze the influence of brand awareness, brand image and brand association of Jatiluwih agritourism to perceive quality (satisfaction) of foreign tourists in visiting Jatiluwih, and (ii) to evaluate relationship between satisfaction of foreign tourist to their loyalty. Research was conducted at Jatiluwih of Bali Province in the periods of June up to August 2016. The number of respondents was 207 foreign tourists who were visiting Jatiluwih. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was developed and data was analyzed by using Smart PLS-3 based on the five-point Likert scale. The results show that (i) brand awareness, brand images and brand association of subak-based agritourism in Jatiluwih significantly influenced satisfaction of foreign tourist, (ii) satisfaction of foreign tourist significantly influenced their loyalty, (iii) Awareness to a brand, create images to a brand and can associate a brand before visiting a destination have proved that brand destination of Jatiluwih have been an informational signal for visitors who intent to visit Jatiluwih agritourism in Bali.

Abstract

Buleleng as a centre of grape commodity in Bali has experienced a decrease in the number of grapes production. Grapes horticultural profile should be made based on 6 (six) pillars of the horticulture development. The aim of this study is to determine cultivation profile of the grapes horticulture in Buleleng. This research uses purposive sampling method to determine sample location. The respondents consist of farmers, stakeholders and other relevant agencies which chosen by using random sampling method. The results show respondents’ opinion related to the pillar program compatibility and incompatibility: 1) development of horticultural area 78.88% and 20.00%, 2) application of GAP / SOP 68.88% and 29.63%, 3) implementation of supply chain management (SCM) 59.10% and 40.90%, 4) implementation of integrated horticultural facility 64.18% 33.32%, 5) Institutional development 19.99% and 79.18%, and 6a) increase on horticultural consumption 44.06% and 51.48%, while 6b) on the export acceleration 7.91% and 92.09%. Based on the six pillars development program implementation, only four programs namely program 1, 2, 3, and 4 that have high average of compatibility (67.76%) while the other two programs, namely the program 5 and 6 have lower average of compatibility (22.99%).

Abstract

Coffee is one of the potential plantation sectors that continues to be developed at the production level and for the industrial and trade sectors. To process coffee to be ready for market, several stages of processing need to be done. The company requires the cost of processing coffee until the coffee is ready to be traded. The costs incurred in processing coffee are called working capital. The objectives of this study are (1) to know the processing of arabica coffee until coffee is ready to be traded both between islands and exports in Bangli Regency, (2) determine the working capital components of Arabica coffee processing until coffee is ready to be traded between islands and exports in Bangli Regency, (3) Formulating working capital for processing Arabica coffee until coffee is ready to be traded both between islands and exports needed by Arabica coffee companies in one delivery period. This study uses fieldwork research methods and library research. The research was conducted in Kintamani Subdistrict because this area is the best Arabica coffee-producing area in Bali with a distinctive taste of coffee with an orange aroma. Based on the research, it was found that the order of the coffee processing consisted of preparation of raw materials, spindle sorting, stripping of fruit skin, fermentation, washing, drying, splitting of horn skin, sorting coffee beans, packaging, and shipping to consumers between islands and exported. The working capital components of Arabica coffee companies in Kintamani District are raw materials, water, labor, shipping, and administrative costs. The working capital of Arabica coffee processing in business units in Kintamani District is Rp. 9,401.92 per kg of raw materials, and there are additional administrative and shipping costs of Rp. 7,000,000 for the process of shipping finished products to Arabica Coffee.
