Abstract

Many research and reviews in the field of language teaching have been increasingly recognizing the importance of learner factors in the success of language learning. The concerns about learners- center activities also seem to be a widespread agreement. They have the potential to to create conducive learning approach and opportunities for themselves. One of the learners’ inner factors is learning styles as a natural, habitual, preferred ways of absorbing, processing, and retaining new information and skills. The styles are as a preferred mode, ones in which a learner is more comfortable learning and at last it is expected to gain language learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' knowledge about promiscuity, this research includes classroom action research consisting of two experiments with learning methods that contain examples not examples. In the first cycle the percentage of completeness reached 47.82%, while the second cycle reached 86.96%. Improvement of student learning outcomes in free promiscuity material using short examples, not examples from cycle I to cycle II amounted to 39.13%. Based on these results, the study can conclude that the sample method is not an example that can be used as a special learning method in the delivery of free promiscuity in the hope that even fewer children are not involved in promiscuity

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak sertifikasi profesi dan sertifikasi kompentensi guru terhadap kinerja guru akuntansi SMK di Kabupaten Pekalongan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 55 guru akuntansi SMK yang tersebar di 13 SMK di Kabupaten Pekalongan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 orang guru akuntansi SMK yang telah memiliki sertifikasi profesi dan atau sertifikasi kompentensi. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket langsung yang dijawab oleh guru. Berdasarkan analisa deskriptif diperoleh hasil Sertifikasi profesi dan sertifikasi kompentensi berdampak positif terhadap kinerja guru akuntansi SMK, kinerja guru akuntansi yang bersertifikasi dalam kategori baik dan tinggi. Sertifikasi profesi dan sertifikasi kompentensi berdampak positif terhadap kinerja, guru yang memiliki sertifikasi profesi dan sertifikasi kompentensi (SPSK) memiliki kinerja dalam kompentensi profesional lebih baik dibandingkan guru yang hanya memiliki sertifikasi profesi (SP) dan guru yang hanya memiliki sertifikasi kompentensi (SK) saja.This study aims to determine the impact of professional certification and certification of competence of teachers on teacher performance accounting vocational school in Pekalongan. The study population was 55 accounting vocational teachers across 13 vocational schools in Pekalongan. The sample in this study were 32 teachers who already have a vocational accounting professional certification or certification of competence. Data were collected through questionnaires answered by the teacher directly. Based on descriptive analize get the result that the profession certification and compentence certification have positive impact to accounting teacher of vocational high school performance. Those can be proved with research result that show accounting teacher of vocational high school performance in high category. The profession certification and compentence certification have positive impact to accounting teacher of vocational high school performance in pedagogic compentency.The profession certification and compentence certification have positive impact to accounting teacher of vocational high school performance in teacher professional competency that shown in high category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine how instructors in class VIII.1 B SMPN 3 Tungkal Jaya teach English using English films. In this research, qualitative methodology was employed. Observation and interviews were employed to collect data for this research, whose subject is an eighth-grade English teacher at SMPN 3 Tungkal Jaya. This research revealed that teachers use three activities to teach English through films: pre-viewing, during viewing, and after viewing. By utilising these three activities, teachers can make it easier for students to learn English through films, as well as enhance students' listening, speaking, writing, and vocabulary abilities. After learning how to use films, teachers designate students homework so they can assess their comprehension.

Abstract

Community service activities were carried out by the Islamic Religious Education Study Program team of UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi at IAI Al-Mujaddid Sabak Tanjung Jabung Timur with the aim of strengthening students' critical thinking skills in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This training was attended by 30 students and 15 lecturers from various educational backgrounds. In this activity, students were given an explanation and understanding of the use of technology for learning purposes, Exploring the creative side through multimedia, this activity is to support a more innovative and interactive learning process, allowing students to deliver material in a more interesting and easy-to-understand way. In addition, this activity is also a forum for expressing creative ideas conceptually and practically. Students are invited to discuss and share experiences on effective ways to integrate digital technology in learning, in order to improve students' critical and creative thinking skills. Therefore, this training aims to increase awareness, knowledge, and skills in optimizing the learning process. The results of this socialization showed that participants were very enthusiastic and actively participated, despite challenges related to access to adequate devices. This digital literacy activity is expected to improve critical thinking skills among students and can continue to develop, along with technological advances in this modern era

Abstract

Penulisan karya ilmiah yang baik dan benar sangat diperlukan dalam rangka untuk menunjang tugas profesional sebagai akademisi. oleh karena itu perlu adanya pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) sebagai upaya pemberian pemahaman kepada mahasiswa di IAI Yasni Kabupaten Bungo dalam pelaksanaan teknis penulisan yang benar menyesuaikan metode penulisan dan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar. Dalam rangka membantu penulis dan peneliti dalam menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang mematuhi protokol, sistematika, dan keterampilan menulis yang baik, proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan kesadaran tentang proses penulisan artikel ilmiah. Beberapa Guru Besar Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi bahu-membahu menyelesaikan proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini. Partisipan penelitian adalah mahasiswa program IAIN Yasni Kabupaten Bungo. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui penggunaan presentasi Powerpoint (PPT) yang dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan teknis dalam penciptaan karya ilmiah. Setelah mengkaji metode dan sistem, peserta mempraktikkannya dengan menulis artikel ilmiah singkat. Tujuan dari pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah yang dilaksanakan bagi mahasiswa semester enam di IAI Yasni Bungo adalah untuk membantu mereka mengembangkan keterampilan dalam mengikuti sistematika penulisan karya ilmiah, serta memberikan wawasan kepada mereka tentang cara mengidentifikasi ide dan pokok bahasan. untuk menulis. Setelahnya, para peserta dibekali narasumber mengenai langkah dan tata cara penerbitan artikel ilmiah. Peserta diminta untuk menghasilkan artikel ilmiah sebagai tindak lanjut kegiatan pengabdian selanjutnya pada akhir kegiatan pengabdian kali ini

Abstract

This research is motivated by several issues concerning the cultivation of noble character among students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategies employed by Islamic Religious Education and Character Education teachers in developing noble character. This study is a qualitative research using a descriptive method. The research was conducted at SMPN 14 Batang Hari. The subjects of this study include the principal, homeroom teachers, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Education teachers, as well as students of SMPN 14 Batang Hari. The research instruments used were interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique applied in this research is qualitative data analysis, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study are as follows: (1) the forms of negative character traits (akhlaq mazmumah) found among students at SMPN 14 Batang Hari include mocking others, lying, breaking promises (treachery/ghadar), and egotism; (2) the strategies used by PAI and Character Education teachers to address these negative traits are role modeling, habituation, giving advice, and applying punishments; (3) the supporting factors for teachers in overcoming negative character traits include support from the school, good communication skills, and the availability of relevant teaching materials to instill character values. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include limited instructional time, lack of parental support, peer influence outside of school, and the suboptimal condition of facilities and infrastructure for fostering student character development.
