Abstract

Saat ini, banyak masyarakat Surabaya yang berpergian baik itu ke kantor atau sekedar jalan – jalan menggunakan alat transportasi umum seperti bus atau bemo. Tidak sedikit pula orang yang merasa kesulitan dalam memperoleh informasi rute angkutan umum yang ada di Surabaya.Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan itu, penulis merancang sistem informasi pencarian transportasi umum yang ada di Surabaya dengan menggunakan perangkat Android. Aplikasi pencarian informasi transportasi umum menggunakan koneksi Internet untuk berkomunikasi dengan server. Aplikasi pencarian informasi transportsi umum dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, aplikasi ini dapat melakukan pencarian nama angkutan berdasarkan lokasi awal dan lokasi tujuan, menampilkan list rute yang dilalui oleh setiap angkutan, menampilkan posisi jalan – jalan yang dilalui oleh angkutan melalui google map dan melakukan perhitungan jarak dari lokasi awal sampai lokasi tujuan.

Abstract

Nowadays, technology is growing rapidly and becoming more sophisticated, especially communications technology. Information can be deployed without having to meet each other. No doubt that any confidential information sent over the Internet. Through various types of information is developing techniques for damage or maintaining the security of the dissemination of information on the internet.Securing data by using cryptography is needed for sending confidential data so that not everyone can access it. Process undertaken in this study is encrypted messages with MARS method. Input in an application that is designed in the form of plaintext messages or files to be encrypted, then the key to encrypt the message. This application is made with the Java programming language using NetBeans IDE 7.4.The test results indicate that the encryption with MARS method can be performed on any type of file (example: text file, song or audio file, video file or movie, etc.). Files can be decrypted back to normal if the password is the same as the password for the encryption.

Abstract

Playing games is a way for someone to relieve their stress. However, based on reality, most people are easily to get bored after playing several rounds of game. To overcome this problem, this thesis will create a game where the enemy can give fast respons when fighting the player and may develop the AI’s capabilities.The genre of this game is action. The AI in this game will use two methods: fuzzy state machine and machine learning. Fuzzy state machine is a method to choose the best response towards the enemy. Machine learning is used to update the active file rules of the enemy.The result from this experiment stated that action game with fuzzy state machine and machine learning can make the enemy to give better respons after being played by the player.

Abstract

This thesis’ goal is to let computer recognize Javanese letters. Before a computer is able to recognize Javanese letters, segmentation and feature extraction process is needed. After the features of Java letters that have been segmented obtained, then the features will be processed using computer learning method so that the computer can recognize the letters.Input is in the form of .CSV file that contains features of the Javanese document image that had previously segmented. Output text is a text file that contains unicode representation letter from Java font and a .CSV file that contains the test and data classification results. This application is created with C# programming language and Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 IDE.As for the process that is done is as follows: prepare the .CSV file resulting from the extraction of features to be used as learning materials or trainer for computer learning network. After the trainer file ready, then the network will be trained. After the training is complete, the network can receive other data input, and then classify it according to what has been learned.Probabilistic neural network and ID3 used as computer learning methods, which after data testing, it is found that PNN give higher accuracy result than ID3.

Abstract

Design and manufacture the application calculations of cost of goods production at Surabaya Meliwis printing company using job order costing are: elimination.Meliwis printing is a company engaged in the field of offset printing. The company will produce when if taking orders from the customer. At this time all processes in the company are still done manually, although in the determination of the sale price is still relying on salesmen to sales data. It is a big risk for the company, especially in terms of determining cost of goods production to determine the selling price to the customer.Based on the problems, there is a need yo designing the application calculations of HPP (cost of goods production) to determine the sale price that's clear and obvious administrative system. The development process uses Visual Basic .NET and My SQL Server 2005.Company application has been in accordance with the needs of the store. This application can be assisted the owner in knowing the finance company stores through reports which is generated by this application. The results obtained from the questionnarre pressents 60% of users believe an application has been beneficial to both the company and 40% of users believe an application has been extremely beneficial to both

Abstract

The development of smartphone technology and the need of people to gather information of places open chance to utilize augmented reality to help people get the information of a scene and see the scene through camera at the same time. The sensor-based AR system depends on GPS which is not always available. This research uses AR system using convolutional neural network for scene recognition.There are 45 network variations that will be tested to find the best combination. The different parameters that will be used are architecture, initialization method, and activation function that will be used. The architectures used are GoogLeNet and 2 variations of simplified GoogLeNet. The initialization methods used are random-based (Xavier and MSRA) and pretrained weights. The activation functions used are ReLU, PReLU, and ELU. The data augmentations used during training are random cropping, color balance, rotation, blur, sharpen, and brightness-contrast manipulation.Out of 1649 photos from 12 scene categories, 321 photos will be used for testing with variations on rotation (30 degrees interval), blur, sharpen, brightness, and contrast. Network with initialization method using finetuning on all areas of network and PReLU activation function has better average accuration.

Abstract

Javanese letter are a representative and a proof of Indonesia’s rich and diverse. Nowadays the use of Javanese language in oral and written conversation Indonesia is getting rare. Our people prefer to learn our national language or international languages such as English and Chinese. Another work to conserve Javanese letter is make Javanese letter optical recognition. Therefore, in this thesis an application that could be used in the preprocessing phase of Javanese letter recognition was developed.Hough transform and projection profile are the methods that used in this application. Hough transform is a method that perform skew detection on the document. Projection profile is a method that process segmentation.In Chapter 5 light intensity, consistency range between rows, font size and type, the difference of font weight would affect the result. The result of projection profile method can segment 77% of document with consistent range between rows. The hough transform method can detect skew on the document up to 94%.

Abstract

Development and competition in the University of Indonesia is extremely tight. Petra Christian University is also the University's long-standing and well known to many people in Indonesia. Prospective students would like to see more clearly the form and facilities owned by the University. The difficulties that exist in prospective students who reside outside the island, as it requires large transportation costs if you want to visit Petra Christian University. Based on thisproblem, so in this study will be the creation of applications. This application aims to facilitate students who saw virtually Petra Christian University. Results in this application, the position and shape of the object on the building resembles the original state that existed at Petra Christian University.Barriers time of making a major factor, so it cannot make the building more in detail. The whole room labs and classrooms on the 2nd floor of the building and lecturer room in the 3rd floor already done, there are only a few sections still proceed example at the laboratory assistant room, and a small part.Disadvantages of this application, requires a computer specification high enough to run the application. This is because the memory is generated in this application can be fairly large.

Abstract

PT. X is a company that sell cars and car’s spare parts by retail that use brick and mortar as base. PT. X want to make e-commerce website with hope that the website will help them expanding their market area for facing the rivalry with similar companies.The website poses online market feature that will help the users make their purchase and tracking their transaction they have done, users are divided into two category users and admin, admin are the PT. X promoting and selling their goods, while the users are the one who purchase through the website. This web is scripted using PHP, Ajax, and JavaScript, and user MySQL for creating the database. The development is done using notepad++ software.The data mining feature is based on generalize sequential pattern algorithm, where this feature is used to analyze the customers purchase behaviors and patterns by finding the connection between sold items based on time. Data is processed using the algorithm resulting frequent item sets that will turn into association rules in form of generalize sequential pattern table.

Abstract

Technological development at this time has been growing rapidly with the internet. Along with the development the more the usefulness of the Internet. Not only used for browsing, now the Internet is also used for communication. Such as email, chat, and etc. The increasing development of communication technology, then people start to think about the secure of the communication technology. As in a video chat, only the person entitled to know the information in the video chat. But the encryption process on existing processes such as blackbox said due to lack of transparency.Of these problems lead to the idea to make a video chat application that uses cryptographic security techniques. Data of video chat will be encrypted using RC4 method. Research shows when the data that has been encrypted can be displayed when password is correct. It shows when data that has been encrypted safer than the data that is not encrypted.
