Abstract

The provincial board of Muhammadiyah East Java categorizes three kinds of superior schools: The Outstanding School, The Excellent School, and The Inspiring School of Muhammadiyah. In 2021 there were seven schools categorized as The Outstanding School of Muhammadiyah, one of which is SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. As the Outstanding School of Muhammadiyah East Java, SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo manages its finances by applying management principles to meet all funding needs for academic and non-academic processes. This study aims to analyze the implementation of financial management at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo as a school with the category of The Outstanding School of Muhammadiyah. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study design that collects and analyzes financial management data at SMAMDA Sidoarjo. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages: data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion examination and verification. The study revealed that the financial management of SMAMDA Sidoarjo runs in accordance with the principles and procedures of financial management of Muhammadiyah schools, including planning, organizing, implementing, controlling, and accountability. In addition to the principles of transparency and accountability, this school also strengthens the principle of budget surplus so that every year the school is able to generate a significant plus balance. In the process of recording, bookkeeping, and reporting using the Sango Professional application system in accordance with financial accounting standards for non-profit institutions (ISAK 35). Financial management in this school shows high transparency and accountability. This can be seen from the achievement of the results of the school financial audit conducted by the Public Accounting Firm in 2021 with the results of an Unqualified Opinion.

Abstract

There are three kinds of education, namely education in the family (informal), education in schools (formal), and education in the community (non-formal). Education in the family is the first education for a child and as a child's foundation. The second education includes schools which in the process are systematic and transfer of knowledge. Third, education in the community. The pattern of cooperation between the three is very necessary for the realization of character education. The aims of this study are (1) to analyze the pattern of school cooperation with parents and the surrounding community in shaping the character of students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Islamy Sedati Mojokerto. (2) Analyzing the factors that support and hinder the pattern of school cooperation with parents and the surrounding community in shaping the character of students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Islamy Sedati Mojokerto.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Literature Review dengan mengkaji dan juga menganalisis artikel-artikel ilmiah khususnya di bidang manajemen SDM. Semua artikel ilmiah yang disitasi bersumber dari Mendeley, dan Google Scholar. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pelatihan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi jangka pendek, sedangkan pengembangan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi SDM sebagai persiapan untuk mengembangkan tanggung jawab yang lebih tinggi di masa yang akan datang. Dan pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pengembangan harus harus mempunyai tujuan dan sasaran yang tepat, dengan menggunakan metode yang sesuai dengan apa yang dibutuhan oleh SDM didalam sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan.

Abstract

Kesuksesan Lembaga Pendidikan islam salah satunya ditentukan oleh perubahan prilaku kepala sekolah, guru dan tenaga kependidikan. kinerja guru adalah tingkah laku yang ditunjukkan oleh seorang guru berdasarkankan tugas pokok dan fungsinya.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya oraganisasi dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah SLR (systematic literature review). Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan merumuskan masalah, mengumpulkan 15 artikel dengan topik sesuai judul, menyeleksi menjadi 4 artikel sesuai tujuan penelitian, melakukan kajian perbandingan terutama pada bagian hasil penelitian, menyajikan data, dan menyimpulkan hasil. Diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa secama simultan budaya organisasi dan kompensasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam membuat perencanaan khususnya dalam perencanaan sumber daya manusia, agar dapat kiranya  dijadikan acuan dalam manajemen perencanaan sumberdaya manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode Literatur Review dengan menggunakan tiga kajian yang penulis anggap sesuai dengan topik pembahasan. Penggalian data dilakukan dengan menelusuri artikel-artikel di lens.org dan google schooler.  Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah ditemukannya konsep dasar dalamperencanaan sumber daya manusia yaitu Perencanaan dan Proses perencanaan. Dalam proses perencanaan terdapat pengumpulan dan analisis data, mengembangkan tujuan perencanaan, merancang dan mengimplementasikan program-program yang dapat mendukung jalannya perencanaan serta mengawasi dan mengevaluasi apa saja program yang telah berjalan.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the field of education has influenced the teaching and learning process as well as the administration and financial management of schools. Financial management at the elementary school level is crucial for determining the quality of education, requiring principles of fairness, efficiency, transparency, and accountability. This study aims to analyze the use of digital platforms in financial management of elementary schools, identify the benefits and challenges faced, and find solutions to overcome these obstacles. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The research findings show that the implementation of digital-based financial management in schools has been widely adopted, including the use of applications, virtual accounts, and e-commerce. The benefits obtained include increased efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in fund management. However, the challenges faced include limitations in technological infrastructure, lack of understanding and skills among educators, and data security issues. Additionally, internet network factors and uneven internet literacy in the community also pose challenges. Thus, this research provides insights and guidance for schools and other stakeholders to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of financial management in elementary schools through digital technology.

Abstract

This research investigates the implementation of supervisory practices in increasing financial transparency and accountability of Islamic education institutions at Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan Elementary School and Muhammadiyah 1 Candi Labschool Umsida Elementary School. Through a qualitative descriptive approach and using data collection, interviews, observation, and documentation, this research reveals that these two schools have involved structured planning, efficient fund management, and transparent reporting, significantly increasing the transparency and accountability of school finances. With continuous supervision and collaboration between various parties, both schools succeeded in ensuring effective and efficient use of funds. This research provides an understanding of financial supervision practices that can be carried out to increase financial transparency and accountability of Islamic educational institutions. The results are expected to provide guidance for other educational institutions interested in adopting similar reconnaissance approaches.

Abstract

Financial management in education is the process of planning, organizing, controlling, and monitoring financial resources used to finance educational activities. This research aims to identify the importance of financial management in education through a literature review. The research method used is a literature review, which is an analysis of sources of information derived from literature or documents related to the research topic. The sources of information used in this study consist of scholarly journals, books, and documents related to financial management in education. The results of the study indicate that financial management in education plays a crucial role in ensuring the smoothness and success of the learning process. Good financial management will ensure that available funds are used effectively and efficiently, thereby improving the quality of education. Financial management also allows schools to manage financial risks, such as unexpected costs or funding shortages. Financial management in education also plays a vital role in ensuring fair and equitable access to education for all students. With good financial management, schools can provide equal opportunities for all students to obtain quality education. In conclusion, financial management in education is essential to ensure the success of the learning process and equitable access to education. Therefore, effective and efficient financial management is required in education. This research recommends that the government and educational institutions evaluate and improve existing financial management systems, as well as increase transparency and accountability in the use of education funds.

Abstract

This study evaluates the challenges and solutions in financial management at SDN Gebang 2 Sidoarjo, focusing on the role of the school treasurer. Data shows that teachers, including the treasurer, generally lack adequate financial administration skills, despite being equipped with technology knowledge that is more focused on teaching. The additional burden of teaching duties and frequent changes in the treasurer position add complexity to financial management. The use of technology such as Microsoft Excel and the government’s ARKAS application has helped alleviate financial administration tasks but still requires additional training. The study concludes that continuous training and adequate organizational support are crucial for enhancing the treasurer’s competency in managing finances effectively and transparently. Recommendations include providing in-depth training, developing specialized training modules, and implementing policies that support stability and reduce the workload of school treasurers
