Abstract

In vegetable production, farmers face many obstacles, such as the problems related to seeds, pest and disease control, commodity prices, and marketing of produces. There is almost no useful information and technology easily accessible to improve the situation. With the better penetration of the Internet to the villages and the wide availability of inexpensive mobile devices, mobile learning provides a good solution. This study is aimed to create a mobile learning framework that provides information and interactive communication about vegetable production needed by farmers. The method used was instructional design of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Usability surveys of the proposed prototype to farmers, extension agents (field technical assistants), and researchers, result in 79.4%, 87.3%, and 87% satisfaction testing, respectively, in information needs fulfillment. Summative Testing in the aspect of User Acceptance Testing of validity and reliability indicated that the prototype could be used by farmers. Abstract

Sistem pendidikan di abad 21 harus didukung sepenuhnya oleh penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK). Hal ini mendorong berbagai pihak untuk berlomba-lomba membangun fasilitas pendidikan berbasis TIK. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan smart classroom system (SCS), yaitu ruang kelas cerdas yang mampu melihat dan mengamati keadaan peserta didik secara visual layaknya manusia. Melalui SCS ini pendidik dapat meningkatkan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran melalui umpan balik yang diberikan oleh sistem. SCS dikembangkan berdasarkan pendekatan pendeteksian wajah menggunakan sensor kamera berbantuan model deep super resolution untuk meningkatkan kualitas citra. Melalui sistem ini dapat dilakukan proses pencatatan kehadiaran secara otomatis, pemantauan ekspresi wajah, dan deteksi atensi yang dapat digunakan sebagai umpan balik bagi pendidik selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Selain itu SCS juga dapat menyimpan data video pembelajaran dalam jumlah yang besar, sehingga di kemudian hari dapat dilakukan analisis big-data untuk menemukan pola-pola aktifitas yang sebelumnya tidak diketahui dan tidak teramati oleh manusia secara manual.

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) sebagai sarana utamanya, ketersediaan bahan ajar multimedia sangat dibutuhkan, salah satunya bahan ajar dalam bentuk video. Sementara para pengajar umumnya memiliki keterbatasan dalam menciptakan bahan ajar dalam bentuk video, baik keterbatasan keterampilan maupun sumber daya. Model pemanfaatan bahan ajar seperti Reusable Learning Objects (RLOs), Open Educational Resources (OER), dan Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) telah diusulkan oleh para peneliti sebelumnya untuk membantu memperoleh bahan ajar, tetapi model tersebut umumnya menyediakan bahan ajar yang diperoleh dari lembaga-lembaga pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangan framework mobile cloud computing dalam mobile learning system untuk menciptakan sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu pengajar dalam memperoleh bahan ajar video dari situs penyedia video seperti Youtube, Dailymotion, Showme, Vimeo dan lain-lain untuk pembelajaran tingkat dasar, menengah, atas dan perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan ialah Mobile Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Hasil implementasi framework telah terbukti dapat menyediakan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Para pengajar dari beberapa universitas, Hasil pengujian aplikasi cloud menunjukkan 79,5%, sedangkan hasil pengujian fungsional 75,65% dan pengujian expert 81,5% keseluruhan hasil pengujian menujukan bahwa hasil implementasi framework tersebut dapat menyediakan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mobile learning berbasis cloud ini mampu memberikan manfaat kepada siswa dalam menyediakan video pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran telah berkembang secara signifikan, menciptakan beberapa tantangan bagi sistem pendidikan tradisional. Pergeseran paradigma dalam pendidikan ini sudah dekat dan sejak itu menarik banyak perhatian dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, sebagai upaya untuk menjembatani kesenjangan teknologi di sektor pendidikan. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengembangkan framework smart mobile cloud learning system berdasarkan intelligent learning model untuk pendidikan pembelajaran cerdas, berdasarkan desain, pengembangan, dan pengujian sistem pembelajaran berbasis mobile cloud. Sistem ini dapat memberikan pembelajaran cerdas kapan saja-di mana saja yang disesuaikan dengan individu, dan disampaikan melalui perangkat mobile pribadi. Penelitian ini membahas mobile cloud-education – sebuah penelitian mutakhir baru di bidang smart learning system, berdasarkan desain, pengembangan, dan pengujian framework smart mobile cloud learning system. Sistem ini dapat memberikan pembelajaran cerdas kapan saja-di mana saja yang disesuaikan dan disesuaikan dengan individu, dan disampaikan melalui perangkat portabel pribadi. Pengujian awal sistem mengungkapkan efektivitasnya dalam mendukung proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Framework Smart Mobile Cloud Learning System, Intelligent Learning Model, Smart Learning Environment, Mobile Learning, Cloud Learning Abstract: Learning has evolved significantly, creating several challenges for traditional education systems. This paradigm shift in education is imminent and has since attracted much attention in recent years, as an attempt to bridge the technology gap in the education sector. This study tries to develop a smart mobile cloud learning system framework based on intelligent learning models for intelligent learning education, based on the design, development, and testing of mobile cloud-based learning systems. This system can provide intelligent anytime-anywhere learning tailored to the individual, and delivered via personal mobile devices. This study discusses mobile cloud-education – a new cutting-edge research in the field of smart learning systems, based on the design, development, and testing of a smart mobile cloud learning system framework. This system can provide intelligent anytime-anywhere learning that is tailored and tailored to the individual, and delivered via personal portable devices. Initial testing of the system reveals its effectiveness in supporting the teaching and learning process. Abstract

Creative thinking skills are skills that need to be developed for all students, and creativethinking is often associated with problem solving activities. Students who have the ability to thinkcreatively use all their thinking skills to find solutions to the problems they face. However, thecurrent learning process has not fully developed students' creative thinking skills. This is inaccordance with a preliminary study by researchers that teachers show that in the learning process to manage network infrastructure, teachers have not developed creative thinking skills due to the high demand for teaching materials. So this study aims to design a smart mobile cloud learning multimedia system based on animation with a Creative Problem Solving model to improve students' creative thinking skills. The research method is quantitative, using a Pre-Experimental Design research design, namely One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The multimedia development method refers to the Whole Life Cycle (SHM) method. The results of this survey: 1) Multimedia is available, the average percentage of media professionals is 86.68, and the category is “very good”. 2) Multimedia design can improve students' creative thinking skills. This refers to the four indicators of creative thinking, namely the average creative thinking ability of students as a whole or 55.12 in the "fully creative" category. In addition, the gain index is 0.48 and the effectiveness is "medium". 3) Student responses to multimedia scored 92 percent in the "very good" category.

Abstract

Currently, e-learning has been widely used in the learning process. This is inseparable from the advantages of e-learning which allows learning to be done anytime, anywhere even with minimal instructor involvement or even no instructor involvement. The challenge in developing e-learning is how the learning process remains interesting and motivates students to remain fully involved in the learning process. In this study evaluated how the effect of UI/UX design on e-learning on AI learning that has been designed in previous research on learning engagement. The evaluation process was carried out comparing the value of student engagement in the previous AI e-learning with AI e-learning that had implemented the UI/UX design that had been designed. The value of student engagement is measured using the Online Student Engagement (OSE) matrix for skill and emotional indicators. Based on the results of the evaluation, it was concluded that UI/UX design can increase learning engagement on e-learning AI that was built with an average increase of 10.13% for skills indicators and 11.12% for emotional indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pembuatan model konsultasi pertanian terintegrasi untuk menciptakan komunitas petani pintar di Desa Cimenyan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam bidang pertanian melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Model konsultasi pertanian terintegrasi yang dikembangkan melibatkan beberapa pihak, yaitu petani, peneliti, dan pakar pertanian. Model ini dilengkapi secara konsep, arsitektur, dan teknis yang mengusulkan aplikasi yang memungkinkan petani untuk mengakses informasi terbaru tentang teknik pertanian, harga pasar, dan strategi pemasaran. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan survei untuk mengetahui persepsi dan kebutuhan petani terkait dengan penggunaan teknologi dalam pertanian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model konsultasi pertanian terintegrasi digambarkan untuk dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam bidang pertanian serta dapat memperbaiki hasil panen. Diharapkan model konsultasi pertanian terintegrasi ini dapat mempercepat perubahan budaya petani dari pola lama menjadi petani pintar yang mandiri dan produktif. Hal ini dapat membantu meningkatkan taraf hidup petani dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di daerah pedesaan.

Abstract

E-Learning is a solution to increase knowledge and skills. One of them is learning Artificial Intelligence (AI). Based on this, AI can be learned through web-based e-learning, one of which is on the eCraft2Learn web. The eCraft2Learn website is an e-learning about AI that applies block-based programming to its learning. However, the evaluation feature has not been facilitated on the web. While in the educational process, learning evaluation is a factor that needs to be considered to determine the extent to which students master learning and diagnose student learning difficulties. Based on field studies conducted to students at SMK Negeri 4 Bandung, pain points were obtained from their experience in using online-based learning evaluations. Thus, it is necessary to design a User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) learning evaluation on eCraft2Learn to overcome these pain points using the Design Thinking method. This design is carried out through five stages, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. With this design, a UI/UX design is produced that can increase students' intrinsic motivation when doing evaluations. Intrinsic motivation is significantly related to the completion of a task. Therefore, the measurement results from user experience through the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) are above average, and the UI/UX design that has been designed has a positive effect on the interest or pleasure subscale and the perceived choice subscale.

Abstract

The current curriculum highlights the premise of self-directed learning performed by students. Additionally, technological uses in educational settings prove to be a challenging task in a sense of implementing them in learning media and materials used in the classroom. This study aims at investigating the utilization of augmented reality (AR) in STEM (Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology) using personalized learning. This study employed pre-experimental research design, specifically adopting One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The findings highlight that students’ pretest scores on average reached 51,6 and significantly improved to 82,67 in their posttest, whereas students’ gain score reached 0,64 which is considered as moderate. Their perspectives towards the use of augmented reality with personalized learning were significantly positive with the percentage of 82,1%. It is evident that the use of augmented reality with personalized learning is a viable option when it comes to affecting the learning outcomes.

Abstract

Many techniques can perform effective face searches, but generally, these methods require numerous samples, particularly when using deep learning approaches. However, there are scenarios where face searches must be conducted with limited samples, such as those obtained from CCTV video recordings, making prior training infeasible. In these situations, a method based on exemplars must be implemented. This investigation utilizes a convolutional neural network (CNN) approach coupled with two unique matching techniques: cross-correlation matching (CCM) and normalized cross-correlation matching (NCC). The study makes use of the Chokepoint Face Dataset, training the data through the optimization of triplet loss. The goal of the study is to evaluate the performance of these combined methods. Two different architectures are created and tested within each method to determine the accuracy of each architecture. The CNN-NCC method has been found to yield accuracy rates that surpass those of the CNN-CCM method by 2 to 17.9%. Nevertheless, it is important to note that the accuracy of the results is greatly influenced by the variations observed in the CCTV video recordings.
