Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of professional competence and external motivation on the performance of vocational school teachers in Bandung. This study used instruments sourced from Permendiknas No. 16 of 2007 for variables of professional competence and teacher performance, while instruments for external motivation variables adapted from Fernet et al. (2008). The three instruments were distributed to 100 respondents for further testing the validity and reliability of the instrument to know the question items that met the instrument's validity and reliability requirements. The next process is to test data normality. After obtaining a valid and reliable instrument, as well as data that has been normally distributed, the following process is to perform a regression analysis for the variables of professional competence and external motivation variables on the performance variables of vocational teachers. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed the influence of professional competence and external motivation simultaneously on teacher performance by 39.9%.Keywords: professional competence, external motivation, teacher performance.

Abstract

The background of this research comes from the phenomenon of demanding age that requires the education sector produces superior and competitive human resources to face industrial revolution 4.0. One of an effort to be taken is through vocational formal education. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of affective commitment to vocational permanent teacher performance of government school technology and engineering in Bandung Metropolitan moderated by certification allowance. The population in this study were all permanent teachers of government vocational school in Bandung Metropolitan who already had professional teacher certification. The sampling technique used is ‘cluster proportional random sampling’ based on the cluster region, using statistical testing methods. The research method uses descriptive survey and explanatory survey, using descriptive and verification analysis. The samples were 185 of 342 respondents / certified teacher. The results of the study show there is effect of affective commitment on teacher performance was 63.8%. Furthermore, the effect of affective commitment on teacher performance moderated by certification allowance was 68.8%.

Abstract

The property sector is one of the industrial sectors that has a vital role as an indicator of a country's economy condition. The level of industrial development can be seen from the dividend policy in the form of cash dividends given to the shareholders as a return of operational activities. The amount of provided cash dividends is one of the essential considerations for investors in investing their capitals in companies. Some previous studies show that the profitability and capital structure has a significant role in influencing dividend policy. Thus, this study examines the influence of these two factors on dividend policy. The results of the study prove that profitability has a positive and significant effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.610. Meanwhile, the capital structure has a negative and significant effect, with a regression coefficient of -0.030. The total effect value of the two variables is 68%, while the remaining 32% comes from the other variables that are not used in the research model.

Abstract

This study aims to see to what extent the effectiveness of an information system that has just been implemented in a social security institution where this system is a replacement for the previous system which is considered less effective in managing archives. Based on the results of research and testing, it was found that this new system has a better effectiveness value and a far more optimal level of accuracy in archiving management.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of service quality and product quality on consumer satisfaction. The survey was conducted on 150 customers at a bicycle retail company in the city of Bandung. This research uses path analysis technique to determine the effect of quality of service and product quality on consumer satisfaction, either partially or simultaneously. The results showed that service quality had the most substantial influence on consumer satisfaction, with the value of the importance of the effect being 32.5%. Product Quality has the second most substantial influence on Consumer Satisfaction, with a value of 24.9%. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) expressed in percentages describe the contribution of all independent variables, namely Service Quality (X1) and Product Quality (X2) in determining Customer Satisfaction (Y) of 57.4% and the amount of epsilon is = 0.426 or of 42.6% influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Kebijakan hutang adalah kebijakan yang dilakukan perusahaan untuk menandai operasinya dengan menggunakan hutang keuangan atau yang biasa disebut financial leverage. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebijakan hutang yaitu: kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, profitabilitas dan pertumbuhan perusahaan. Kepemilikan manajeriaal dan kepemilikan instutisional memiliki sumber daya yang lebih besar dibandingkan pemegang saham lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan dan pengaruh Kepemilikan Manajerial, Pertumbuhan Perusahaan, Laba Ditahan dan Kebijakan Hutang pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Sub Sektor Logam dan sejenisnya di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019-2023. Locus penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur Sub Sektor Logam dan sejenisnya di BEI periode 2019-2023. Sampel penelitian diperoleh sebanyak 6 perusahaan. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan antara Kepemilikan Manajerial, Pertumbuhan Perusahaan Dan Laba Ditahan Terhada Kebijakan Hutang Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Sub Sektor Logam Dan Sejenisnya Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2019-2023 dan uji Koefesien Determinasi bahwa variabel Kepemilikan Manajerial (X1), Pertumbuhan Perusahaan (X2), Laba Ditahan (X3) Terhadap Kebijakan Hutang (Y) secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh sebesar (28,2%), sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian ini.

Abstract

Promosi merupakan sarana yang dapat membantu mendorong karyawan untuk bekerja lebih baik atau lebih giat dalam lingkungan perusahaan. Promosi jabatan adalah pemindahan seorang pegawai/karyawan dari suatu jabatan/tempat ke jabatan/tempat lain yang lebih tinggi, yang diikuti dengan tugas, tanggung jawab, dan wewenang yang lebih tinggi dari jabatan sebelumnya. faktor-faktor dari pelaksanaan promosi jabatan adalah pendidikan dan pengalaman, lamanya masa kerja, hasil pekerjaan, hasil ujian tertulis dan hal-hal yang tidak dapat dirasakan seperti kepemimpinan, kepribadian, dan kerjasama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran masing-masing variabel, pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan masa kerja, penilaian kerja dan pendidikan terhadap promosi jabatan. Locus penelitian pada Divisi Engineering Palembang Indah Mall, objek penelitian yaitu karyawan engineering. Adapun populasi sebanyak 35 orang karyawan yang semuanya dijadikan sampel penelitian. Metode penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dan metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif verifikatif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu secara parsial variabel penilaian kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap promosi jabatan, sedangkan variabel masa kerja dan pendidikan tidak memiliki pengaruh. Secara Simultan masa kerja, penilaian kerja dan pendidikan memiliki pengaruh terhadap promosi jabatan.
