Abstract

The majority of the people in Karang Anyar Hamlet (almost 90%) are farmers. Due to full concentration in agricultural activities to fulfill the needs of the family's life, eventually taking up too much time, compared to the remaining time available to care for children. The education level of parents is relatively low, only graduating from elementary school, junior high school and some of high school education, but the young Hindu generation has high motivation in carrying out the teachings of Hinduism and Balinese culture inherited from their families, so it is necessary to examine the pattern of care for Hindu families toward their sons and daughters especially in enhancing religious values ​​in order to be able to create harmony in life between Hindus and other religious communities around it. Moreover, the interaction of young Hindu generation with other young people is still condusive. This research is entitled "Parenting Parents in Increasing Religious Values ​​of Young Hindu Generation in Karang Anyar Hamlet, West Lombok" by raising three problems, namely 1) What are the model parenting approaches?, What strategies are used? 3) What are the obstacles of parents in increasing the religious value to the young Hindu generation. The general objective of this research is to photograph and reveal the parenting style of parents in enhancing the religious value of Hindu young generation in Karang Anyar Hamlet, West Lombok. This study uses qualitative methods with qualitative descriptive data analysis. This location was chosen because majority of the parents are busy in agricultural work and the level of education is relatively low but the young Hindu generation has high motivation in carrying out the Hindu teachings. This research combines three theories, namely needs theory, structural functional theory and humanistic theory. Based on the results of this study it is known that 1) Parenting approach applied by parents is democratic parenting. Democratic approach is an approach that does not conflict with human values. 2. There are two ways to increase religious values, namely: (1) Contextual factual (2) Normative namely through traditional strategies, free strategies, reflective strategies, and transinternal strategies 3) Obstacles faced by parents are the children who are in disorders such as forgetful and stubborn, parents should be patient and gentle in guiding them.

Abstract

Marriage is the basic right of every human being to form a complete household with the aim of continuing descendant, in accordance with the constitution number 39 year of 1999 concerning human rights. In marriage ceremonies there are a lot of variety happening in the community based on ethnic with one another in one nation, religion, culture, and social class, which is sometimes clashed with certain religious rules or laws. Marriage is considered valid if it is carried out according to the marriage law of each religion and belief and is recorded by the authorized institution according to the applicable legislation. Thus marriage is a bond in which husband and wife or both people become one entity and become a relationship that is so unique and very exclusive. Marriage is something that has existed for a long time, is very universal and has become a special tradition in human life. There are no differences such as; community, economy and political system. Thus the problem can be formulated as follows: 1) ‘nyerod’ marital communication strategy for the Hindus in Mataram city; 2) Communication process for ‘nyerod’ marriage to the Hindus in Mataram city; and 3) Implications of communication of ‘nyerod’ marriage to the Hindus in Mataram city. This research uses a qualitative approach, data collection techniques are through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation and data analysis using interpretative descriptive. The results of the study are explained as follows; The Communication Strategy in Nyerod Marriage for the Hindus in Mataram are of two main explanations, namely; 1) Receiving the implementation of specialization for women of the Ksatria dynasty by Wangsa Wesya, getting approval from the old people of the Wesya, and 2) Not accepting the implementation of specialization so that the perpetrator chooses running married by loving each other, to realize his marriage the communication strategy that is applied is to flee to marry without being known by the parents. Communication process in Nyerod marriage to the Hindus in Mataram is through 1) Patiwangi Ceremony: 2) Ngetelunin Ceremony: 3) Ceremony of Mewidi Widhana. The implications of Nyerod Marriage of the Hindus in Mataram is sanctioned either by the families of the perpetrators, the families of the bride and the society.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how the Harley Davidson Club Indonesia Rabbani Halfway House’s learning model is to know how social behavior is and how the Harley Davidson Club Indonesia Rabbani Halfway House learning model shapes children’s social behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study. Collecting data using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The subjects of this research include supervisors, teachers, volunteers, and students involved in the learning process. The learning model here is how the Rumah Singgah learning system shapes children’s social behavior. Social behavior itself can be said to how a person responds to others. Or perform a conscious behavior. Shaping this behavior is the main task of parents because there are children who have limitations such as incomplete families and economic factors, so the Halfway House was established. Based on the results of data analysis, there are several essential things in the learning model of the Harley Davidson Club Indonesia Insan Rabbani Halfway House in shaping children’s social behavior, namely: 1) instilling Islamic values, 2) involving students, 3) self-development through extracurricular activities, 4) providing guidance and directions for parents, 5) foster parents and a supportive environment is needed for the development of children to have good social behavior.Keywords: Learning Model, Halfway House, Social Behavior. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana model pembelajaran Rumah Singgah Harley Davidson Club Indonesia Rabbani untuk mengetahui bagaimana perilaku sosial dan bagaimana model pembelajaran Rumah Singgah Harley Davidson Club Indonesia Rabbani membentuk perilaku sosial anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini meliputi pengawas, guru, relawan, dan siswa yang terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran disini adalah bagaimana sistem pembelajaran Rumah Singgah membentuk perilaku sosial anak. Perilaku sosial itu sendiri dapat dikatakan bagaimana seseorang menanggapi orang lain. Atau melakukan perilaku sadar. Membentuk perilaku ini menjadi tugas utama orang tua karena ada anak yang memiliki keterbatasan seperti keluarga yang tidak lengkap dan faktor ekonomi, maka didirikanlah Rumah Singgah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, ada beberapa hal yang esensial dalam model pembelajaran Harley Davidson Club Indonesia Insan Rabbani Halfway House dalam membentuk perilaku sosial anak, yaitu: 1) menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam, 2) melibatkan siswa, 3) kemandirian. pengembangan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, 4) memberikan bimbingan dan arahan kepada orang tua, 5) orang tua asuh dan lingkungan yang mendukung diperlukan bagi perkembangan anak agar memiliki perilaku sosial yang baik.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Rumah Singgah, Perilaku Sosial

Abstract

AbstractThe findings of this study corroborate the researchers' assertion that many aspects of sociology will be examined to aid in the implementation of character education, one of which is the process of socialization, which is a critical factor in shaping and building the nation's character in society. Additionally, sociology is a social science field in which students will undoubtedly study about values and norms, human conduct, and social aberrations from social control. As seen through the lens of sociology, there are several major factors that have a significant impact on the development of a primary school student's character. The research approach employed is literature review, in which all available data is examined and presented from a variety of data additional papers in order to produce conclusions and a study. The data were gathered from materials in the form of books and other scholarly works pertaining to this topic.Keywords: Character, Sociology, Education, Primary School. AbstrakTemuan penelitian ini menguatkan pernyataan peneliti bahwa banyak aspek sosiologi yang akan dikaji untuk membantu pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter, salah satunya adalah proses sosialisasi, yang merupakan faktor kritis dalam membentuk dan membangun karakter bangsa di masyarakat. Selain itu, sosiologi adalah bidang ilmu sosial di mana siswa pasti akan mempelajari tentang nilai dan norma, perilaku manusia, dan penyimpangan sosial dari kontrol sosial. Dilihat dari kacamata sosiologi, ada beberapa faktor utama yang berdampak signifikan terhadap perkembangan karakter siswa sekolah dasar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah literature review, dimana semua data yang ada ditelaah dan disajikan dari berbagai data tambahan makalah guna menghasilkan kesimpulan dan kajian. Data dikumpulkan dari bahan-bahan berupa buku dan karya ilmiah lainnya yang berkaitan dengan topik ini.Kata kunci: Karakter, Sosiologi, Pendidikan, Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to explore, analyze, and describe school management which includesthe implementation of school management functions, strategies in implementing vision andmission, improving quality, and innovation. The study was conducted at Tunas Daud SejahteraMataram Elementary School, using a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that,the application of management functions in the management of Tunas Daud Sejahtera ChristianSchool is coordinated by the foundation by involving all components of the school. The strategiesused by school management to achieve the stated vision and mission are several things, including;Building a pleasant heavenly atmosphere (build a home), Designing Schools as: House ofAdoption: declaring God's Father's love for everyone, House of Learning: preparing everyonefor a life-long learner - learning obedience and norms (what the king likes ), House of Royalty:training the power they have, House of Authority: preparing learners to become kings / queens/ rulers in using their power and possessions. Designing a school as a Center of excellent: doingbest education practices. To support the improvement of school quality, management alsoaccommodates various innovations. Innovation in information technology, budding David Camp,and the Rise Student Comparison program. This study recommends that managers of educationalinstitutions such as schools, in an effort to improve school quality, need to pay attention to allaspects of the school organization.Keywords: Analysis, School Management, Education Quality

Abstract

This study aims to explore, analyse, and describe the implications of children dropping out of school for their future in West Nusa Tenggara Indonesia. The research was conducted in West Lombok Regency using a qualitative method. Interviews, observation, and documentation were conducted to collect the data. Meanwhile, to analyse the data, the researcher used Miles Huberman model of qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the implications of children who have dropped out of school for their children's future are; inferior in relationships, children become lazy, and less open to develop themselves. It also has implications for families and communities such as; children become unemployed, work odd jobs, create problems in society, and produce new poor families. Given that fact, the implications of dropping out of school for children's future are quite crucial, the local government together with the community have an obligation to solve the problem thoroughly from various perspectives, so that the right formulation can be found to handle it with the appropriate policies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between Family Support, Perceived Digital Competence and Attitude, Learning Agility, and Academic Self-Efficacy in the Speed of Completing Studies. In addition to knowing the effect of Perceived Digital Competence and Attitude and Learning Agility on Academic Self-Efficacy. This research was conducted on Undergraduate and Master program students at the Gde Pudja Mataram State Hindu Institute (IAHN). The data collection technique in this study was random sampling to obtain 100 students in the Bachelor's program and Master's program at IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. The data analysis technique in this study uses a Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach with the help of the Smart PLS application. The results of this study indicate that: 1) family support has a significant positive effect on the speed of completing studies, 2) perceived digital competence and attitude do not affect the speed of completing studies, 3) Learning Agility does not affect the speed of completing studies, 4) family support has a significant positive effect on academic self-efficacy, 5) perceived digital competence and attitude do not affect academic self-efficacy, 6) Learning Agility does not affect academic self-efficacy, and 7) academic self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on the speed of completing studies. So it can be concluded that what can affect the speed of completing studies for Undergraduate and Master program students at IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram are internal factors, namely from oneself (academic self-efficacy), and external factors, namely support from family.

Abstract

This study aims to explore, analyze, and describe the non-formal pasraman education model in building the character of students in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Indonesia. The research was conducted in non-formal Pasramans in Mataram City, using a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that, non-formal pasraman as an educational institution has a role; (1) as a forum for deepening religious education, especially Hindu religious practices, in order to shape the habits and character of students, (2) to prepare and foster achievements in the Hindu religious field, as the basis for building self-confidence, (3) to shape and foster character religious students, (4) fostering a sense of brotherhood and communication between students, with the implementation of the teachings of Tri Hita Karana, as the basis for building the character of tolerance, cleanliness, and discipline, (5) as a medium for moral and ethical formation, in building the character of decency. Based on qualitative data analysis, it shows that the urgency of non-formal pasraman education is so important to shape the character of students, for that it is recommended that pasraman managers continuously improve the quality of learning, and in their management they should use professional management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan analisis dan kajian terkait Manajemen Pembelajaran pada Pasraman Vidya Sthana Suranadi. Manajemen pembelajaran tidak hanya berlaku pada pendidkan formal akan tetapi juga pada pendidikan non formal. Sebagaimana yang diterapkan di Pasraman Vidya Sthana Suranadi. Permasalah yang diangkat pada penelitian ini adalah (1) perencanaan pembelajaran pada Pasraman Vidya Sthana Suranadi, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada Pasraman Vidya Sthana Suranadi, (3) evaluasi pembelajaran pada Pasraman Vidya Sthana Suranadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif atau metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi partisipan, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penerikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini didukung oleh teori kebutuhan (Maslow) dan teori Manajemen Pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan: Pertama perencanaan pembelajaran pada Pasraman dilaksanakan 5 mata pelajaran antara lain Pendidikan Agama Hindu, Aksara Bali, Yoga Asanas, Seni Tari dan Bahasa Inggris. Perencanaan pembelajaran pada Pasraman terdapat beberapa komponen yaitu: tenaga pendidik, tujuan pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, keuangan, dan penyediaan sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang proses pembelajaran. Kedua pembelajaran dilaksanakan setiap hari Minggu sore dengan mata pelajaran yang berbeda setiap minggunya, dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar acarya melakukan 3 kegiatan inti yaitu: membuka pelajaran, memberikan materi, dan menutup pelajaran. Ketiga evaluasi pemebelajaran dilaksanakan dengan tanya jawab, ulangan harian dan praktek untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman dari brahmacari. Terdapat kebijakan-kebijakan pada evaluasi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas Pasraman dari segi acarya dan brahmacari pasraman ini.
