Abstract

This study aims to see the Critical Thinking Ability in the Materials of the Respiratory System of Class XI SMAN 1 Tanah Putih Subdistricts. The sample of this study consisted of one class, the determination of the sample by using purposive sampling technique. This type of research is survey research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data obtained is the students' critical thinking ability. The percentage of gain in SMAN 1 Tanah in Focus indicator gets a percentage of 66% in the high category, the argument indicator gets a percentage of 13.20 with a very low category, the conclusion indicator gets a percentage of 56.56% in the medium category, the situation indicator gets a percentage of 47.1% with the medium category, the follow-up indicator obtained a percentage of 3.85% with a very low category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis pada materi Sistem Pernapasan Siswa Kelas XI SMAN 1 Kecamatan Tanah Putih. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari satu kelas, penentuan sampel dengan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh ialah  kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Persentase perolehan di SMAN 1 tanah pada Indikator fokus memperoleh persentasi 66% dengan katagori tinggi, indikator argumen memperoleh persentasi 13,20 dengan katagori sanagat rendah, indikator kesimpulan memperoleh persentasi 56,56% dengan katagori sedang, indikator situasi memperoleh persentasi 47,1% dengan katagori sedang, indikator tindak lanjut memperoleh persentasi 3,85% dengan katagori sangat rendah. Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, pembelajaran, sistem pernapasanDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jbt.v9i2.23107

Abstract

Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam merupakan ilmu yang memiliki karakteristik berbeda dengan ilmu yang lain yakni mengandung ayat-ayat Qauniah dan ayat-ayat Qauliyah sehingga butuh skill dan bahan ajar tersendiri dalam mentransfer ilmunya. Namun demikian pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru-guru SD IPA masih bersifat parsial dengan hanya mengutamakan target capaian ayat-ayat Qauniah semata (aspek kogitif IPA) sehingga aspek qauliyah terutama sikap islami terabaikan, disamping itu memang masih kurangnya bahan ajar IPA yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai Alqur’an yang bisa dijadikan i acuan bagi guru-guru SD. Sebagai solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut maka guru-guru SD perlu dibekali melalui suatu pelatihan pemantapan penguasaan bahan ajar IPA terintegrasi nilai-nilai alqur’an agar dapat diaplikasikan kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa selama proses pembelajaran online pada mata pelajaran biologi. Pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik survei pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling secara acak (simple random sampling). Jumlah sampel pada penelitian adalah 126 siswa. Instrumen pada penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket sebanyak 38 item dan telah divalidasi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian menggunakan angket online yang dibuat menggunakan google form. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa selama pembelajaran online pada mata pelajaran biologi adalah konsentrasi belajar siswa 60,65% kategori sedang, motivasi siswa 86,26% kategori tinggi, rasa percaya diri 60,05% kategori sedang , perhatian orang tua 64,92% pada kategori sedang, nilai persentase kategori rendah yaitu keadaan ekonomi keluarga 52,38%, cara mengajar guru 53,70% kategori rendah, kendala proses 60,01% kategori sedang dan kendala teknis 57,31% dengan kategori sedang. Maka dapat disimpukan analisa kesulitan belajar siswa mempelajari materi biologi pada pembelajaran online di kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru memiliki nilai rata-rata persentase sebesar 61,91% dikategorikan cukup

Abstract

This study aims to determine student`s perceptions of the implementation of online learning in the Biology Science subject during the Covid-19 pandemic for class VIII at SMPN 9 Pekanbaru. This research is quantitative research. The method used in this study is a survey method. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The sample in this study were 160 students. Based on the results of the study, students’ perceptions of the implementation of online learning in Biology Science subject during the Covid-19 pandemic for class VIII at SMPN 9 Pekanbaru obtained an average score of 80.76% in the good category. The highest sub-indicator, namely opening learning, obtained a percentage of 92.41% in the very good category. Meanwhile, the lowest sub-indicator is giving conclusions with a percentage of 67.34%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran IPA Biologi selama masa pendemi covid-19 kelas VIII di SMPN 9 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 160 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran IPA Biologi selama masa pendemi covid-19 kelas VIII di SMPN 9 Pekanbaru memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,76% berada dalam kategori baik. Pada sub indikator tertinggi yaitu membuka pembelajaran memperoleh persentase sebesar 92,41% berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of biological teaching materials integrated with the values of the Qur'an and As-Sunnah that are valid and effective in improving cognitive, psychomotor learning outcomes as well as in developing the values of faith and piety in students. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, learning outcomes tests, and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential analysis. The study results showed the developed teaching materials met the statistically valid category based on the assessment of the expert in teaching-learning, material, Islamic religious education and teachers as validators, as well as it received an extremely satisfactory response from students. Teaching materials are very effective in improving learning outcomes in term of cognitive and psychomotor, and developing the values of students' faith and piety

Abstract

This study aims to determine the need for an integrated E-Module of IMTAQ values ​​by teachers and students at SMA SERIRAMA YLPI. This E-Module is an electronic-based module presented via a computer or Android device and contains text, images, and videos that include elements of IMTAQ values. This research was conducted at SMA SERIRAMA YLPI Pekanbaru in the 2024/2025 academic year, using a qualitative descriptive research method. From the results of interviews conducted by researchers with biology teachers and 10 grade XI students of SMA SERIRAMA YLPI Pekanbaru, it is known that the teaching materials used by teachers are limited to printed books, and teachers have never integrated IMTAQ values ​​​​in the biology learning process. Data analysis showed that teachers and students at SMA SERIRAMA YLPI PEKANBARU need an E-Module that integrates IMTAQ values ​​​​to shape students' character to be better.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the condition of science learning and the need for e-module development at SMP Negeri 2 Kabun. A descriptive mixed-methods approach was employed. Data were collected through interviews with two science teachers and questionnaires administered to 30 students from grades VII, VIII, and IX. The results indicate that students’ understanding and learning experiences in science are categorized as high (73.2%). However, the use of learning media remains low (36%), students’ need for science e-modules is very low (27%), and learning style support is also very low (20.4%). These findings highlight the need to develop interactive science e-modules to enhance students’ motivation, conceptual understanding, and independent learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the need for Biology e-modules integrated with faith and piety (IMTAQ) values by teachers and eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The e-module is an electronic-based teaching material accessible through computers or Android devices and contains text, images, videos, and learning content integrating IMTAQ values. This study was conducted in the 2025/2026 academic year using a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach (mixed methods). Data were collected through interviews with Biology teachers and questionnaires distributed to 30 eleventh-grade students. The results showed that teachers had not yet used independently developed e-modules, and the integration of IMTAQ values in Biology learning was still limited and not systematic. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that both teachers and students highly need an IMTAQ-integrated Biology e-module to enhance students’ understanding of the material, learning motivation, and the development of religious character.
