Abstract

Creativity yang dimiliki siswa dapat berkembang dengan optimal ketika guru mampu mengajarkannya dengan baik di sekolah. SDN 006 Langgini merupakan salah satu sekolah di Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota, Kabupaten Kampar dengan jumlah rombongan belajar mencapai 18 kelas. Bentuk evaluasi yang dilakukan selama ini terhadap siswa didominasi oleh pemberian tes berupa soal. Oleh karena itu, dilaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagai upaya agar guru-guru mengetahui arti penting creativity, kemudian menyusun rubrik dan tes creativity. Metode yang di lakukan pada kegiatan ini adalah observasi, presentasi dan diskusi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Selasa/09 Maret 2021 di SDN 006 Langgini dengan jumlah guru yang hadir sebanyak 30 orang. Guru-guru ini terdiri dari guru mata pelajaran dan guru kelas. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa guru telah melaksanakan evaluasi dengan baik termasuk melakukan penilaian proses dan produk. Guru juga memahami arti penting menilai creativity siswa. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengabdian kepada masayarakat ini memberikan kontribusi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam penilaian creativity siswa SDN 006 Langgini Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada abad 21 ini perlu membekali siswa dengan keterampilan terutama 4Cs’ (critical thinking, communication, collaboration dan creativity). Namun, guru-guru di SMPN 1 kuok belum memahami secara utuh tentang pentingnya 4Cs’ dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga perlu dilakukan kegiatan yang bertujuan memberikan informasi tentang makna dan komponen apa saja yang terdapat pada 4C’s serta peran pentingnya dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan masyarakat ini berupa wawancara, presentasi dan diskusi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Kamis, 30 September 2021 yang bertempat di SMPN 1 Kuok Kecamatan Kuok. Pemaparan materi berlangsung dengan lancar dengan dihadiri 20 orang peserta termasuk kepala sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu memahami dengan baik 4Cs setelah diberikan penjelasan melalui PPT. Hal ini tampak dari respon yang diberikan guru melalui jawaban-jawaban yang disampaikan melalui G-Form, Berdasarkan kegiatan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru telah mampu memahami 4Cs sebagai bagian penting dari proses pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan pada era revolusi industri 4.0.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang perlunya pelatihan dalam memanfaatkan kantong plastik Menjadi Produk Bernilai Guna dan Ekonomis Kelurahan Mentangor Tenayan Raya. Melalui pemanfaatan kantong plastik ini diharapkan ibu-ibu Majelis Taqlim Masjid Darrul Janah dapat mengurangi buangan plastik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Masjid Darrul Janah kelurahan Mentagor diikuti oleh 30 orang ibu-ibu majelis taqlim masjid darrul jannah. Materi dalam kegiatan ini mencakup penyuluhan tentang materi serta langkah-langkah dalam pembuatan dan proses merangkai bunga dari kantong plastik, kemudian pelatihan dilanjutkan dengan mempraktekkan secara langsung pembuatan bunga anggrek, melati, sakura untuk mewakili penggunakan bahan-bahan yang sudah disediakan. Kegiatan ini mempunyai banyak manfaat bagi ibu-ibu Majelis Taqlim Masjid Darrul Janah, agar dapat memanfaatkan bahan disekitar yang dianggap tidak bernilai menjadi bernilai guna dan ekonomis

Abstract

Critical and creative thinking are skills that are needed in this 21st century. These two skills are a priority for learning outcomes from various levels of education. This research is a descriptive study that aims to see or measure the critical and creative thinking skills of high school students in Pekanbaru in online learning. The population in this study were students of public senior high school class XI IPA in Pekanbaru, while the sample was 216 students from two public senior high schools in Pekanbaru. The research instrument is in the form of critical and creative thinking questions that have been validated constructively by experts and empirically with a reliability value of. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the critical thinking skill of students of public senior high school class XI IPA in Pekanbaru is in the sufficient category with a percentage of 68.71% with the highest percentage being in the advance clarification indicator with a very good category while the other indicators are in the sufficient category. In creative thinking, the average skill of students in public senior high school class XI IPA in Pekanbaru is also in the sufficient category with a percentage of 64.43% with all indicators in the sufficient category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the ability of students in public senior high school class XI IPA at SMAN Pekanbaru is in a fairly good category.

Abstract

Problem solving ability relates to a person's ability to manage and find appropriate solutions in unexpected and complex conditions. Problem solving skills are not something that is innate, but these skills can be developed when a person is given the opportunity to solve problems. This ability is very important for students, especially when they enter the world of work. This study aims to determine the problem-solving ability of students when completing the problem discourse sheet in the PBL model. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative using a sample of 37 students who take the Human Physiology Anatomy course in the biology education study program at the Islamic University of Riau. The research instrument is in the form of problem discourse and scoring rubric. Problem solving indicators consist of identifying terms, formulating questions, considering, and finding solutions from problem formulations and making and determining conclusions. The data obtained were analyzed by scoring each answer given by students. The results showed that students' problem-solving abilities differed on each indicator. The indicator that occupies the highest score is formulating questions and the lowest is making and determining conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the problem-solving ability of students while completing the problem discourse sheet in the PBL model is in the very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and find out the feasibility of the Science Process Skills (KPS) based performance assessment rubric on the XI class practice of Pekanbaru State High School Academic Year 2018/2019. Research uses the type of Research & Development development using the ADDIE model which consists of stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and testing. But in this study only reached the stage of development (development). In this study there are two types of validation, namely assessment validation sheet and KPS validation sheet. Based on the criteria determined by the selected school, namely the State High School that applies the 2013 curriculum, school accreditation is at level A. Three selected schools are: SMAN 9 Pekanbaru, SMAN 10 Pekanbaru and SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. Retrieval of data in this study was obtained through validation of experts namely evaluation experts, learning experts and teachers. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. The results of this study are in the form of a PPP-based performance assessment rubric on practices. Based on the results of a joint validation from the evaluation expert, material experts and teacher validation that the performance assessment rubric get a very valid category with a feasibility percentage of 95.83% and the results of joint validation from evaluation experts, material experts and teacher validation that PPP questions get very valid categories with eligibility percentages 98.58%. It can be concluded that the PPP-based performance assessment rubric in class XII Pekanbaru State Senior High School practical activities is very feasible to use in the assessment of practical activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the implementation of online learning / e-learning in Biology subjects in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with the type of research used a survey. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires, interviews, observation sheets and documentation. This study used a saturated sample that included all members of class XI Sciensi 1, XI Science 2, XI Science 3, and XI Science 4 Senior High School 2 Pekanbaru as many as 143 students. The questionnaire distributed consists of 40 statements consisting of four aspects of assessment with eleven indicators. Based on the results of the study, the aspect of assessing student attitudes was categorized as sufficient with a percentage of 61.97%. The aspect of assessing the principles of online learning / e-learning has a sufficient category with a percentage of 65.73%. The aspect of competency assessment related to online / e-learning has a sufficient category with a percentage of 72.26% and the infrastructure assessment aspect is in a good category with a percentage of 76.33%. It can be concluded that students' perceptions of the implementation of online learning / e-learning in Biology subjects in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2020/2021 as a whole are in the sufficient category with a percentage of 69.47%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif pada pembelajaran biologi siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitiain ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan soal, wawancara, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 108 siswa, diambil dari siswa kelas XI IPA. Soal yang disebarkan terdiri dari 14 pertanyaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa profil kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif pada pembelajaran biologi siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 dilihat pada kemampuan berpikir kritis diperoleh rata-rata dengan persentase sebesar 75,0% dalam kategori kurang. Pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif diperoleh rata-rata dengan persentase sebesar 71,5% dalam kategori kurang. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif dalam kategori kurang.

Abstract

The scientific method, also known as scientific learning, is a good learning technique for individual learning activities during this pandemic. The scientific approach is a strategy that focuses on educating children so they can learn independently through the 5M stages (Observe, Ask, Gather Information, Process Information, and Communicate) during and after Covid. The aim of this research is to map students' 5M (scientific abilities) abilities through learning using a scientific approach to learning. online and face-to-face learning (PTMT) in Biology subject class XI IPA SMAN 1 Tembilahan Hulu. This research is a descriptive research. Data collection was carried out using observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The sample in this study was 68 XI IPA students. The results of this research show that the application of scientific methods in post-Covid learning is in the good category (77.94%). If you look at each ability, the ability to observe is 89.05% in the very good category, the ability to ask questions is 66.89% and the ability to collect information is 64.37% in the good category, and the ability to process information is 73.4% in the good category. good and communication skills of 74.69% in the good category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that students' scientific abilities (5M) are in the good category with a percentage of 75.07%.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembengan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa permainan monopoli, dan mendeskripsikan validitas dan praktikalitas media sebagai media pembelajaran Biologi SMP kelas VII pada materi pokok organisasi kehidupan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan hanya dari tahap Analyze (Analisis) sampai Development (Pengembangan).Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi serta lembar praktikalitas terhadap media permainan monopoli. Hasil penelitian ini berupa media permainan monopoli yang mendapatkan uji validitas dari ahli media 87,3% (valid), ahli materi 86,7% (valid), dan ahli pembelajaran 84,3%(valid)serta uji praktikalitas oleh siswa SMPN Mandau di Duri Kec. Mandau Kab. Bengkalis 87.6% (praktis). Dari hasil uji validasi dan uji praktikalitas disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran biologi berupa produk permainan monopoli pada materi organisasi kehidupan untuk siswa kelas VII SMP memiliki kriteria valid dan praktis.
