Abstract

The sharp rise in anxiety and depression among Generation Z following the COVID-19 pandemic underscores an urgent need to understand the factors that protect psychological well-being within digital ecosystems. This study examines the simultaneous roles of psychological resilience, cultural identity, digital literacy, and meaning in life on the psychological well-being and life satisfaction of Generation Z in the Bangka Belitung Islands, Indonesia—a culturally embedded integrative model that has not previously been tested. A sequential mixed-methods design was employed, combining a survey of 250 respondents aged 13–25 analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with 35 semi-structured interviews and 5 focus group discussions analyzed thematically. Psychological resilience was the strongest predictor of well-being (β = 0.48) and life satisfaction (β = 0.42), followed by meaning in life as the most powerful buffer against depression and anxiety (β = −0.52), digital literacy as a reducer of technology-related stress (β = −0.35), and cultural identity as a moderator of social comparison effects (β = −0.24). The four factors operated synergistically: individuals combining high levels of all protective factors showed near-zero anxiety reactivity under high digital stress. These findings call for comprehensive, multidimensional, and culturally responsive digital well-being interventions, particularly in non-Western contexts.

Abstract

Background: Mixed Reality (MR) technology enables real-time interaction between physical and digital environments and has become increasingly important in immersive simulation and visualization applications. However, MR implementation still faces challenges related to system performance limitations and the complexity of 3D object rendering, which may reduce immersion quality and interaction realism. Therefore, optimization of 3D assets and visual effects is urgently needed to improve MR efficiency and user experience. Objective: This study aims to propose a design and evaluation framework for Mixed Reality systems by focusing on 3D object optimization and Depth-of-Field (DoF) enhancement in Mixed Reality Simulator (MRSi) development. Methods: The proposed framework integrates vertex decimation-based 3D object optimization and DoF analysis using Circle of Confusion (CoC) calculations. Low-poly 3D assets were optimized through vertex and triangle reduction, while DoF parameters were adjusted based on focal length, aperture, and object distance. Results: The results showed that the proposed approach successfully reduced 3D model complexity by 16.280%–90.950% while maintaining visual quality, with CoC values ranging from 0.0066 to 0.2414, indicating improved depth perception and more realistic visual focus effects in MR environments. The optimization process improved rendering efficiency and enhanced visual realism in Mixed Reality environments. Conclusion: The proposed framework effectively improves MR system performance and immersion quality, providing practical guidance for the development of efficient and visually realistic Mixed Reality applications.

Abstract

The digitalization of population administration services through e-government platforms has become a strategic priority; however, the alignment between user expectations and actual service performance remains insufficiently examined in developing country contexts. This study aims to evaluate the service quality of the Pesona Dukcapil web-based application using the SERVQUAL model and to explicitly examine its linkage to perceived administrative efficiency, operationalized through user-reported indicators of time–cost savings and service acceleration. A quantitative survey design was employed, utilizing a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale administered to 44 purposively selected users, followed by gap analysis across ten indicators mapped to five SERVQUAL dimensions. The findings reveal consistently negative gap scores, with an overall average of -0.61; responsiveness exhibits the largest gap (-0.70), with response speed as the most critical deficit (-0.75), while tangibles show the smallest gap (-0.50). These results indicate systemic discrepancies between expectations and perceived performance. The study advances the literature by demonstrating that deficiencies in responsiveness and empathy dimensions are directly associated with reduced perceived administrative efficiency, thereby extending SERVQUAL beyond satisfaction-oriented evaluation toward operational outcome relevance. However, the cross-sectional design and limited sample size constrain the generalizability of the findings, suggesting cautious interpretation. The results provide a prioritized framework for improving digital public services, emphasizing system responsiveness, interface usability, and information clarity as key determinants of both service quality and administrative efficiency.

Abstract

The role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in driving economic growth and reducing poverty has attracted increasing global attention. Yet, limited research has systematically prioritised ICT indicators that influence poverty at the regency level in developing countries. In this study, poverty is operationalised as a multidimensional socioeconomic condition reflected through regional deprivation indicators reported by official statistics, serving as the dependent construct influenced by ICT development factors. This study aims to analyse the influence of ICT on poverty levels in Bangka Regency by determining the priority weights for four ICT indicators—network infrastructure, community ICT access, digital literacy, and ICT utilisation in economic sectors—using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). A quantitative approach was employed, collecting pairwise comparison data from 100 respondents comprising local government officials, academics, and practitioners. The AHP analysis, validated with a Consistency Ratio (CR) of 0.05, revealed that network infrastructure received the highest priority weight (0.36), followed by ICT utilisation in economic sectors (0.29), community ICT access (0.20), and digital literacy (0.15). Methodologically, this study advances existing ICT–poverty research by providing a structured multi-criteria prioritisation framework that complements conventional econometric approaches through expert-based weighting of interrelated ICT dimensions. However, the findings are subject to limitations related to reliance on expert judgment and the absence of direct empirical modelling of poverty outcomes. These results highlight that infrastructure and productive ICT use are the most influential drivers, offering actionable guidance for evidence-based policy design and resource allocation in local governance contexts for sustainable poverty alleviation.

Abstract

Previously, all sales transactions at Mahmud Racing Apparel were managed manually through social media, leading to difficulties in data tracking, high susceptibility to recording errors, and delays in compiling sales reports. To address these challenges, this research centers on the design and engineering of a digital data management platform utilizing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, alongside functional verification and the System Usability Scale (SUS) framework. All planned testing cases were accomplished with zero average SUS score reached 82, which is classified as "excellent," and the duration of each observed operational activity became significantly shorter, with the greatest time savings found in order data retrieval (77.78%) and sales report compilation (72.22%). These outcomes underscore how the engineered platform stands as exceptionally practical in daily operations, while actively contributes to fostering MSME digitalization in the custom apparel sector.Keyywords: Online sales management system; Rapid Application Development; System Usability Scale; operational efficiency; MSMEs   AbstrakSebelumnya, seluruh transaksi penjualan di Mahmud Racing Apparel dikelola secara manual melalui media sosial, sehingga memicu kendala dalam pelacakan data, rentan terhadap kesalahan pencatatan, serta keterlambatan dalam penyusunan laporan penjualan. Guna mengatasi kendala tersebut, penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada perancangan dan pembangunan platform digital manajemen data lewat pendekatan Rapid Application Development (RAD), pengujian fungsionalitas, serta instrumen System Usability Scale (SUS). Seluruh skenario pengujian yang direncanakan berhasil diselesaikan tanpa kesalahan, dengan skor rata-rata SUS mencapai 82 yang diklasifikasikan sebagai "sangat baik" (excellent). Selain itu, durasi dari setiap aktivitas operasional yang diamati menjadi jauh lebih singkat, di mana penghematan waktu paling signifikan ditemukan pada penarikan data pesanan (77,78%) dan penyusunan laporan penjualan (72,22%). Temuan ini memperkokoh bahwasanya platform yang dibangun berdiri sebagai solusi yang sangat praktis dalam operasional sehari-hari, sekaligus berkontribusi aktif dalam mendorong digitalisasi UMKM di sektor konveksi kustom.

Abstract

Multimedia data management in coverage and livestreaming activities had a high risk of data loss when using conventional local storage methods. This study aimed to analyze and implement a hybrid cloud-based multimedia data backup system for coverage and livestreaming activities at CV. Lesmana Jaya. The research applied the Prototyping method through problem identification, system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The implemented system integrated local storage and cloud-based storage to support multimedia data backup and distribution processes. The results showed that the implementation of the hybrid cloud system improved the security and effectiveness of multimedia data management. Based on system testing, the proposed system increased backup process efficiency by 65.6% compared to the previous method and accelerated multimedia data distribution to editors and clients.Keywords: Hybrid cloud; Data backup; Multimedia; Livestreaming; Cloud storage AbstrakPengelolaan data multimedia pada kegiatan liputan dan livestreaming memiliki risiko kehilangan data yang cukup tinggi apabila masih menggunakan metode penyimpanan manual berbasis media lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menerapkan sistem backup data multimedia berbasis hybrid cloud pada kegiatan liputan dan livestreaming di CV. Lesmana Jaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Prototyping dengan tahapan identifikasi masalah, analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian sistem. Sistem yang diterapkan mengintegrasikan penyimpanan lokal dan penyimpanan berbasis cloud untuk mendukung proses backup dan distribusi data multimedia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem hybrid cloud mampu meningkatkan keamanan dan efektivitas pengelolaan data multimedia. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi proses backup data sebesar 65,6% dibandingkan metode sebelumnya serta mempercepat proses distribusi data kepada editor dan klien.
