Abstract

The silt pit is a method of soil management that functions to accommodate and absorb surface runoff. The research aimed to determine the silt pit effectiveness for erosion reduction and nutrient loss. The research is located at 576 above sea level (asl) in Sukamantri village, Taman Sari district, Bogor Regency. The experiment used a randomized block design with three replications and a slope group. The treatments were R0 (without silt pit); R1 (silt pit); R2 (silt pit + mulch); R3 (silt pit + mulch + biopore tube), R4 (silt pit + mulch + biopore tube + vertical crop tube). The highest runoff-decreasing occurred on R4 treatment, which pressed down 29.38% runoff. The highest value of erosion-decreasing occurred on R2 as 68.74% and followed by effectiveness in reducing the loss of 71% Organic C, 76% available P, and 67% total N. The dry seeds peanut yield was around 0.54 - 0.86 Mg ha-1, dried pods was 0.96 - 1.33 Mg ha-1, and dried biomass was 5.16 - 6.23 Mg ha-1 and not significantly different between all treatments. This study recommends that farmers apply silt pit innovation technology with a combination of mulch, biopore, and mature green media because the incremental B/C ratio was 1.175. It is a good economic indicator for farmers.

Abstract

Benih tanaman pangan yang baik dan sehat dapat menentukan kualitas dan produktivitas tanaman. Tujuan kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan benih tanaman pangan yang baik agar dapat memproduksi benih secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh ibu-ibu kelompok PKK sebanyak 29 orang yang merupakan wakil dari RT01, RT02, RT03, RT04, RT05,RT05 di RW06, kelurahan Pasir Mulya, Kecamatan Bogor Barat, Kota Bogor. Pada sesi pertama diawali dengan penyuluhan tentang pengenalan karakteristik benih yang sehat dan produktif. Pada sesi ke dua, pelatihan teknis dan keterampilan dalam mengelola benih meliputi pemilihan benih, pembersihan, pengeringan, pengemasan benih hingga cara pembibitan benih. Beberapa komoditi tanaman pangan yang dicobakan yaitu benih cabai rawit, benih cabai merah dan benih pepaya. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan ibu-ibu PKK sangat antusias dengan melanjutkan penanaman benih di rumah masing-masing. Kata Kunci: Benih, Tanaman Pangan, Pelatihan Good and healthy food plant seeds can determine the quality and productivity of plants. The purpose of extension and training activities is to provide understanding and skills in good management of food plant seeds so that they can produce seeds independently. This activity was attended by 29 members of the PKK group who were representatives of RT01, RT02, RT03, RT04, RT05,RT06 in RW06, Pasir Mulya Village, West Bogor District, Bogor City. The first session was started with counseling about the introduction of the characteristics of healthy and productive seeds. In the second session, technical training and skills in managing seeds include seed selection, cleaning, drying, packaging seeds, and how to plant seeds. Some of the food crop commodities that were tested were cayenne pepper seeds, red chilli seeds and papaya seeds. Abstract

The Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Bogor City encourages its residents to be able to maximize agricultural potential even though the available land is limited in order to improve food security and family welfare. Optimal use of any agricultural land by using superior seeds and appropriate technology through a production process that meets quality assurance standards and is environmentally sound. The availability of seeds is an important factor in the development of urban farming because seeds are one of the main production facilities in plant cultivation activities. Extension activities and seed production training for 15 members of the Dalima and Lestari Women's Farmer Group, Balumbang Jaya Village, West Bogor District, are expected to be able to increase the ability of farmer groups to be able to produce seeds independently both for their own and commercial needs. Extension activities on understanding the quality of seeds and training on good seed production methods, starting from selecting the level of fruit maturity in accordance with the criteria to be used as seeds, pre-processing, cleaning, sorting and drying seeds, as well as packaging and storing seeds are very enthusiastic to be followed by the women's group. farmers in Balumbang Jaya Village. The response of the women farmer groups to this activity was very satisfied and asked that this activity be developed into other commodities.

Abstract

Penyiraman merupakan faktor terpenting yang berpengaruh besar terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman, sistem air yang digunakan akan berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan yang terbaik untuk Brassica oleracea, volume air dan waktu aplikasi interval. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2018 di Green House Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Singaperperbangsa Karawang, Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak faktorial.Faktor pertama adalah volume air dengan 3 level (t1 = 100% volume kapasitas lapangan, t2 = 80 % volume kapasitas lapangan dan t3 = 60% volume kapasitas lapangan) dan faktor kedua adalah waktu aplikasi interval air dengan 2 level (i1 = interval 24 jam dan i2 = interval 12 jam) .Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dalam interval 24 jam dan Volume 100% kapasitas lapang, indeks daun lebar tertinggi, laju pertumbuhan, dan bobot bunga Brassica oleracea dibandingkan dengan kapasitas lapang 80% dan 60%. Dalam interval 12 jam, tanaman memberikan respons yang berbeda untuk semua level tanaman. kapasitas lapangan.Berat tertinggi dalam interval 24 jam adalah 135,05 g dalam kapasitas lapangan 100%, sedangkan, dalam interval 12 jam tertinggi bunga berbobot adalah 125,85 g dalam kapasitas lapangan 80%.Kata kunci: Sistem pengairan, pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Brassica oleracea.

Abstract

One of the things that are important to consider when fertilizing is how to place the fertilizer so that plants can consume nutrients efficiently. The research objective was to assess the precision of soil conservation based on fertilizer placement so that fertilizers could increase the production of taro effectively. This study applied four treatments, namely without fertilizer, placing manure in the planting hole, placing manure in the biopore, and placing manure on the borders. The three treatments were given 1 kg of goat manure. The treatment was performed with six replications. Harvesting is carried out in 8 months after planting. The results showed that the placement of manure on the borders was the most effective treatment with the highest yield of wet tubers of 21.4 Mg/ha and was not different from the treatment of manure in biopore 18.3 Mg/ha.This yield was different significantly as compared to that of resulted from treatments where fertilizer was placed in the planting hole (15.9 Mg/ha) or the production of taro without manure application (11.57 Mg/ha). Keywords: Organic fertilizers, production, soil conservation, taro

Abstract

The continuity of the availability of raw materials for the processing of taro is a partner's need to develop a taro processing business, so that appropriate technology is needed for the cultivation of the new variety Febi521 taro. The service programme offered to KWT Sawargi is the use of narrow land owned by KWT members to plant the new Febi521 variety of taro, and it is hoped that it will continue so that the difficulty of taro raw materials can be overcome. Community service activities were carried out for 10 months consisting of training in new varieties of taro cultivation, the practise of planting Febi521 taro seeds and assistance until harvest. The results of this activity had a positive impact on the people of Situ Gede Village, especially KWT Sawargi. The taro seeds planted in the fields of several partners showed that the plants grew to a harvest of 83.33%. Febi521 taro is harvested at around 8 months of age and produces a weight of 76 kg from 100 plants with a weight of 500 - 800 grams per tuber. Assistance will continue to be provided until the partner becomes an independent KWT.

Abstract

Sumber pupuk organik cair dapat diperoleh dari limbah bahan pangan dan tanaman diantaranya cangkang telur dan kulit bawang merah. Cangkang telur yang mengandung kalsium dan kulit bawang merah yang mengandung flavonoid sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik cair. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk organik cair berbahan cangkang telur dan kulit bawang merah yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman tomat. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan yaitu bulan Juni-Agustus 2022 di Green house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Nusa Bangsa. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap  terdiri dari lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah pupuk organik cair dari cangkang telur dan kulit bawang merah  yaitu P0 (kontrol), P1 (75 ml/liter air), P2 (100 ml/liter air), P3 (125 ml/liter air) dan P4 (150 ml/liter air). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi pupuk organik cair mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, warna daun, jumlah bunga dan jumlah buah. Perlakuan P4 berpengaruh sangat nyata dan paling baik terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, warna daun, jumlah bunga dan jumlah buah pada umur 14 HST sampai 44 HST. Kata kunci : cangkang telur, kulit bawang merah, pupuk organik cair, tomat
