Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kombinasi dosis pupuk fosfor dan pupuk rganik bokashi jerami limbah jamur merang yang tepat dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annum L). Varietas Prabu. Percobaan dilaksanakan di rumah kasa Fakultas Pertanian Unsika, Karawang dari bulan Juli sampai  Oktober 2008. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan jumlah perlakuan 10 taraf yang diulang 3 kali.  Taraf perlakuan adalah   P0 tanpa pupuk (kontrol), (P1) 10 ton/ ha bokashi, (P2) 20 ton/ha bokashi, (P3) 90 kg/ha P2O5, (P4) 90 kg/ha P2O5 + 10 ton/ha bokashi, (P5) 90 kg/ha P2O5 + 20 ton/ha bokashi, (P6) 115,2 kg/ha P2O5, (P7) 115,2 kg/ha P2O5 + 10 ton/ha bokashi, (P8) 115,2 kg/ha P2O5 + 20 ton/ha bokashi, (P9) 115,2 kg/ha P2O5 + 10 ton/ha pupuk kandang sebagai rekomendasi lokal. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan perlakuan P7 115,2 kg/ha P2O5 + 10 ton/ha bokashi,  P8 115,2 kg/ha P2O5 + 20 ton/ha bokashi, dan P9 115,2 kg/ha P2O5 + 10 ton/ha pupuk kandang memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap bobot buah per tanaman. Abstract

The silt pit is a method of soil management that functions to accommodate and absorb surface runoff. The research aimed to determine the silt pit effectiveness for erosion reduction and nutrient loss. The research is located at 576 above sea level (asl) in Sukamantri village, Taman Sari district, Bogor Regency. The experiment used a randomized block design with three replications and a slope group. The treatments were R0 (without silt pit); R1 (silt pit); R2 (silt pit + mulch); R3 (silt pit + mulch + biopore tube), R4 (silt pit + mulch + biopore tube + vertical crop tube). The highest runoff-decreasing occurred on R4 treatment, which pressed down 29.38% runoff. The highest value of erosion-decreasing occurred on R2 as 68.74% and followed by effectiveness in reducing the loss of 71% Organic C, 76% available P, and 67% total N. The dry seeds peanut yield was around 0.54 - 0.86 Mg ha-1, dried pods was 0.96 - 1.33 Mg ha-1, and dried biomass was 5.16 - 6.23 Mg ha-1 and not significantly different between all treatments. This study recommends that farmers apply silt pit innovation technology with a combination of mulch, biopore, and mature green media because the incremental B/C ratio was 1.175. It is a good economic indicator for farmers.

Abstract

Benih tanaman pangan yang baik dan sehat dapat menentukan kualitas dan produktivitas tanaman. Tujuan kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan benih tanaman pangan yang baik agar dapat memproduksi benih secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh ibu-ibu kelompok PKK sebanyak 29 orang yang merupakan wakil dari RT01, RT02, RT03, RT04, RT05,RT05 di RW06, kelurahan Pasir Mulya, Kecamatan Bogor Barat, Kota Bogor. Pada sesi pertama diawali dengan penyuluhan tentang pengenalan karakteristik benih yang sehat dan produktif. Pada sesi ke dua, pelatihan teknis dan keterampilan dalam mengelola benih meliputi pemilihan benih, pembersihan, pengeringan, pengemasan benih hingga cara pembibitan benih. Beberapa komoditi tanaman pangan yang dicobakan yaitu benih cabai rawit, benih cabai merah dan benih pepaya. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan ibu-ibu PKK sangat antusias dengan melanjutkan penanaman benih di rumah masing-masing. Kata Kunci: Benih, Tanaman Pangan, Pelatihan Good and healthy food plant seeds can determine the quality and productivity of plants. The purpose of extension and training activities is to provide understanding and skills in good management of food plant seeds so that they can produce seeds independently. This activity was attended by 29 members of the PKK group who were representatives of RT01, RT02, RT03, RT04, RT05,RT06 in RW06, Pasir Mulya Village, West Bogor District, Bogor City. The first session was started with counseling about the introduction of the characteristics of healthy and productive seeds. In the second session, technical training and skills in managing seeds include seed selection, cleaning, drying, packaging seeds, and how to plant seeds. Some of the food crop commodities that were tested were cayenne pepper seeds, red chilli seeds and papaya seeds. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan kombinasi dosis pupuk NPK phonska dan pupuk kandang domba yang tepat dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah varietas Gajah dan Jerapah. Percobaan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2010 di Desa Karang Mulya Kecamatan Bojongmangu Kabupaten Bekasi dengan ketinggian tempat 92 m di atas permukaan laut, serta jenis tanah Latosol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan menggunkan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji yaitu P1 (250 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 0 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Gajah), P2  (250 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 0 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Jerapah), P3 (250 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 4 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Gajah), P4 (250 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 4 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Jerapah), P5 (250 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 6 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Gajah), P6 (250 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 6 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Jerapah), P7 (150 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 0 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Gajah), P8 (150 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 0 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Jerapah), P9 (150 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 4 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Gajah), P10 (150 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 4 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Jerapah), P11 (150 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 6 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Gajah), P12 (150 kg/ha NPK Phonska + 6 ton/ha pupuk kandang domba + varietas Jerapah). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kombinasi dosis pupuk phonska dan pupuk kandang domba berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah cabang umur 30 HST, 45 HST, 60 HST dan 75 HST, jumlah polong per tanaman, brangkasan polong basah, brangkasan polong kering, hasil biji kering dan berat 100 butir biji kering. Perlakiuan P4 memberikan jumlah polong per tanaman 26,33 dan hasil biji kering 2,32 kg/petak setara 1,93 ton/ha tertinggi, yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan P6 sebesar 2,27 kg/petak setara 1,89 ton/ha dan P10 sebesar 2,26 kg/petak setara 1,88 ton/ha.

Abstract

Pada umunya aktifitas manusia pada usaha budidaya pertanian menghasilkan limbah terutama pada tanaman yang menghasilkan buah. Pektin adalah salah satu hasil pengolahan limbah yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi.  Diantara limbah pertanian yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku pektin diantaranya adalah jerami padi, kulit kentang, kulit buah-buahan serta daun dan ranting tanaman-tanaman tertentu.  Salah satu limbah hasil pertanian yang potensial menghasilkan pektin adalah limbah kulit Kakao (Theobrema cacao L.) dengan kandungan Pektin sebesar 2 sd 10%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat pH ekstraksi terhadap komponen mutu Pektin yang memenuhi standar.  Pektin dari kulit Kakao dibuat dengan tiga variasi pH diantaranya pada pH1.5, 2 dan 2.5).  Karakter pektin yang diamati antara lain : rendemen Pektin, kadar air, kadar metoksil dan berat ekivalen.  Pektin yang dihasilkan dari ekstraksi dengan variasi perbedaan pH menghasilkan serbuk berwarna coklat dan tidak berbau.  Komponen mutu yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini dan sudah memenuhi standar IPPA (International Pektin Producers Asseciation) dari semua formulasi pH yang dicoba adalah kadar air pectin berkisar antara 11.92 sd 11.96%, kadar abu berkisar antara 4.87 sd 7.87% dan kadar metoksil berkisar antara 4.96 sd 7.36%.

Abstract

The Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Bogor City encourages its residents to be able to maximize agricultural potential even though the available land is limited in order to improve food security and family welfare. Optimal use of any agricultural land by using superior seeds and appropriate technology through a production process that meets quality assurance standards and is environmentally sound. The availability of seeds is an important factor in the development of urban farming because seeds are one of the main production facilities in plant cultivation activities. Extension activities and seed production training for 15 members of the Dalima and Lestari Women's Farmer Group, Balumbang Jaya Village, West Bogor District, are expected to be able to increase the ability of farmer groups to be able to produce seeds independently both for their own and commercial needs. Extension activities on understanding the quality of seeds and training on good seed production methods, starting from selecting the level of fruit maturity in accordance with the criteria to be used as seeds, pre-processing, cleaning, sorting and drying seeds, as well as packaging and storing seeds are very enthusiastic to be followed by the women's group. farmers in Balumbang Jaya Village. The response of the women farmer groups to this activity was very satisfied and asked that this activity be developed into other commodities.

Abstract

Penyiraman merupakan faktor terpenting yang berpengaruh besar terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman, sistem air yang digunakan akan berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan yang terbaik untuk Brassica oleracea, volume air dan waktu aplikasi interval. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2018 di Green House Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Singaperperbangsa Karawang, Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak faktorial.Faktor pertama adalah volume air dengan 3 level (t1 = 100% volume kapasitas lapangan, t2 = 80 % volume kapasitas lapangan dan t3 = 60% volume kapasitas lapangan) dan faktor kedua adalah waktu aplikasi interval air dengan 2 level (i1 = interval 24 jam dan i2 = interval 12 jam) .Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dalam interval 24 jam dan Volume 100% kapasitas lapang, indeks daun lebar tertinggi, laju pertumbuhan, dan bobot bunga Brassica oleracea dibandingkan dengan kapasitas lapang 80% dan 60%. Dalam interval 12 jam, tanaman memberikan respons yang berbeda untuk semua level tanaman. kapasitas lapangan.Berat tertinggi dalam interval 24 jam adalah 135,05 g dalam kapasitas lapangan 100%, sedangkan, dalam interval 12 jam tertinggi bunga berbobot adalah 125,85 g dalam kapasitas lapangan 80%.Kata kunci: Sistem pengairan, pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Brassica oleracea.

Abstract

One of the things that are important to consider when fertilizing is how to place the fertilizer so that plants can consume nutrients efficiently. The research objective was to assess the precision of soil conservation based on fertilizer placement so that fertilizers could increase the production of taro effectively. This study applied four treatments, namely without fertilizer, placing manure in the planting hole, placing manure in the biopore, and placing manure on the borders. The three treatments were given 1 kg of goat manure. The treatment was performed with six replications. Harvesting is carried out in 8 months after planting. The results showed that the placement of manure on the borders was the most effective treatment with the highest yield of wet tubers of 21.4 Mg/ha and was not different from the treatment of manure in biopore 18.3 Mg/ha.This yield was different significantly as compared to that of resulted from treatments where fertilizer was placed in the planting hole (15.9 Mg/ha) or the production of taro without manure application (11.57 Mg/ha). Keywords: Organic fertilizers, production, soil conservation, taro

Abstract

The experiment was conducted in Muara Baru Village, Cilamaya Wetan Distric, Karawang City. The objective of this experiment was to study get the best combination dosage of Mychorriza Arbuscular Fungus and Biochar on growth and yield of the soybean anjasmoro variety on the saline soil. The research used experimental method. It was arranged by randomized block design with 3 replications and 8 treatments. The treatments were : A (FMA 0 gram/plant, biochar 0 ton/ha), B (FMA 0 gram/plant, biochar25 ton/ha), C (FMA 0 gram/plant, biochar50 ton/ha), D (FMA 10 gram/plant, biochar 0 ton/ha), E (FMA 10 gram/plant, biochar25 ton/ha), F (FMA 10 gram/plant, biochar50 ton/ha), G (FMA 20 gram/plant, biochar 0 ton/ha), H (FMA 20 gram/plant, biochar25 ton/ha), I (FMA 10 gram/plant, biochar50 ton/ha). The data of each variable were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) 5%. The biggest result according to weightof seedper plant is treatment Fwith doses 10g FMA/plant and 50 ton biochar/ha which the result : 17,25 g seed/ plant. Altough that treatment is not significan with D treatment with doses 10gFMA/plant and 0 ton biochar/plant which the result :16,20 g seed/plant.

Abstract

The Women Farmers Group (KWT) Puspa Sari is one of the KWTs in Bogor that has succeeded in empowering members and the surrounding community to use vacant land to be productive. Currently, KWT Puspa Sari in Bogor City has business activities, including plant production, medicinal plant processing, marketing processed medicinal plants and microfinance businesses. However, some of the problems faced by KWT include the lack of knowledge related to postharvest handling of medicinal plants into ready-to-sell products. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the knowledge and skills of the management and members of KWT as well as the community around handling harvests, especially TOGA, so that they have added value and increased the selling price. Increased value added can be done by utilizing postharvest technology such as making simplicia followed by packaging and labelling. Packaging equipped with labelling will make the product more durable and attractive. This service activity consists of several stages, including the preparation stage, which provides surveys, targeting, and preparation of materials/materials and tools. The implementation stage includes exposure to material and practice and the training evaluation stage through satisfaction questionnaires and measurement of training activities before and after questionnaires training. This community service activity showed an increase in knowledge and skills in TOGA postharvest management by 18.60 percent after this training. Based on the satisfaction questionnaire distributed to the training participants, 80.31 percent were satisfied with this training activity. Hopefully, with this training, it is hoped that KWT Puspa Sari Bogor City can increase the added value of TOGA and can develop the marketing of cultivation products and postharvest handling of TOGA.Key words : Postharvest, the added value, TOGA, KWTAbstrakKelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Puspa Sari merupakan salah satu KWT di Kota Bogor yang berhasil memberdayakan anggota dan masyarakat di sekitarnya dalam memanfaatkan lahan kosong menjadi produktif. Saat ini KWT Puspa Sari Kota Bogor memiliki kegiatan usaha meliputi produksi tanaman, pengolahan tanaman obat, pemasaran hasil olahan tanaman obat, dan usaha keuangan mikro. Namun, beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi KWT diantaranya masih minimnya pengetahuan terkait penanganan pascapanen tanaman obat menjadi produk siap dijual. Untuk itu diperlukan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengurus dan anggota KWT serta masyarakat sekitar tentang penanganan pascapanen khususnya tanaman obat keluarga agar memiliki nilai tambah dan meningkatkan harga jualnya. Peningkatan nilai tambah dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pascapanen seperti pembuatan simplisia yang dilanjutkan dengan pengemasan dan pelabelan. Pengemasan yang dilengkapi dengan pelabelan akan menjadikan produk lebih awet dan lebih menarik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap diantaranya : tahap persiapan yang meliputi survei, penentuan sasaran, penyusunan bahan / materi, dan persiapan alat, tahap pelaksanaan meliputi paparan materi dan praktek. Tahap evaluasi pelatihan melalui angket kepuasan dan pengukuran kegiatan pelatihan melalui kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan terhadap penanganan pascapanen tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) sebesar 18,60 % setelah adanya pelatihan ini. Berdasarkan angket kepuasan yang disebarkan kepada peserta pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa 80,31 % dengan adanya kegiatan pelatihan ini. Diharapkan dengan adanya pelatihan ini KWT Puspa Sari Kota Bogor dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah TOGA dan dapat mengembangkan pemasaran hasil budidaya dan pengelolaan pascapanen TOGA.Kata Kunci : Pascapanen, nilai tambah, TOGA, KWT
