Abstract

Abstract Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukkan kadar kandungan hemiselulosa, selulosa dan lignin tanaman aren (Arenga pinnata Merr.) berdasarkan variasi umur di Kota Kendari Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan metode pengamatan langsung dimana peneliti langsung mengamati dan mengambil sampel ke lokasi tempat tumbuhnya tanaman Aren (Arenga pinnata Merr.) di Kota Kendari. Untuk analisisnya menggunakan metode analisis Gravimetri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan hemiselulosa pada tanaman aren umur satu tahun rata-rata sebesar 34,27%, dua tahun sebesar 31,61% dan tiga tahun sebesar 27,72%, selanjutnya kandungan selulosa pada tanaman aren umur satu tahun rata-rata sebesar 23,15%, dua tahun sebesar 24,87% dan tiga tahun sebesar 26,53% dan kandungan lignin pada tanaman aren umur satu tahun rata-rata sebesar 18,82%, selulosa sebesar 21,09% dan lignin sebesar 23,70%. Keywords : Aren, hemiselulosa, selulosa, lignin, gravimetri

Abstract

Pectinase is an enzyme that could hydrolyze pectin into galacturonic acid. Natural pectinase was produced by microbes such as bacteria, yeast, fungi and Actinomycetes. Application of pectinase in industry were mainly in juice industry, textile, pulp, tea, cocoa and coffee fermentation. In this research, we conducted purification and characterization of pectinase produced by Aspergillus ustus BL5 in submerged fermentation using commercial pectin. The result showed that the optimum of pectinase production was reached at 120 hours fermentation process with specific activity 0.59 U/mg. The crude extract of pectinase was then concentrated using PEG 6000 and purified by Sephadex G-75 gel filtration chromatography. There were 2 fractions contained pectinase which the activity was 4.15 U/mg (pectinase A) and 3.3 U/mg (pectinase B), respectively. Compare to crude extract, the yield product of pectinase A and B increased 6.94 and 5.53 times, respectively. The purified pectinase A have optimum temperature at 50 oC and optimun pH at 5.

Abstract

AbstractThe language changes may cause a word to be no longer used or called archaic. This studyaims to describe the vocabulary of Minangkabau language that potentially archaic found inthe Kaba Cindua Mato script. This study was analyzed by diachronic dialectology theory andthe method of matching with the technique of decisive element as the basic technique anddifferential interfacing technique as an advanced technique. Based on the results of the studyfound 122 vocabularises of potential archaic in Kaba Cindua Mato script which are dividedinto 43 verbs, 7 adjectives, 5 adverbs, and 68 nouns. Based on the opinion of the respondents(active speakers of Minangkabau language domiciled in Padang City) it is concluded thatfrom 122 vocabularies potentially archaic in Kaba Cindua Mato script there are 22 activevocabularies, 46 semi-archaic vocabularies, and 56 archaic vocabularies.AbstrakPerubahan bahasa antara lain menyebabkan suatu kata menjadi tidak digunakan lagi atau disebutarkais. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kosakata bahasa Minangkabau yang berpotensiarkais yang ditemukan dalam naskah Kaba Cindua Mato. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodesimak dan teknik catat dalam mengumpulkan data, selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan teori dialektologidiakronis dan metode padan dengan teknik pilah unsur penentu sebagai teknik dasar dan teknikhubung banding membedakan sebagai teknik lanjutan. Hasil analisis data disajikan dengan metodeinformal dan formal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 122 kosakata yang berpotensi arkaisdalam naskah Kaba Cindua Mato yang terbagi dalam 68 kata benda, 43 kata kerja, 7 kata sifat,dan 5 kata keterangan. Berdasarkan pendapat responden (penutur aktif bahasa Minangkabau yangberdomisili di Kota Padang) diperoleh simpulan bahwa dari 122 kosakata yang berpotensi arkaisdalam naskahKaba Cindua Mato terdapat 22 kosakata yang masih aktif, 46 kosakata semi arkais,dan 56 kosakata yang arkais.Kata kunci: istilah; kosakata; arkais,Kaba Cindua Mato

Abstract

AbstrackThe purpose of this study is to analyze the creative economy entrepreneurs in Indonesia in the fashion sub-sector to meet taxpayer compliance. The population in this study were 500 creative economy entrepreneurs in the fashion sector in Malang Regency. Because the population is large, samples taken in accordance with the characteristics of respondents are taken 10% of the 500 are 50 respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data testing techniques used in this study include data instrument testing (validity and reliability), normality test, and simple linear regression test. The analysis shows that the creative economy business in the fashion sub-sector has high tax compliance, it was found that as many as 56% of the creative economy business people in the fashion sub-sector in Malang experienced business development. And seen from several measurement indicators that can increase taxpayer compliance. So that the creative economy business executor of the fashion sub-sector complies with business tax payments. Keywords: creative economic, fashion, taxpayer compliance

Abstract

ABSTRACT Quality assurance and food safety have an important role in the supply of food. Chicken meat is one of the foodstuffs of animal origin that continues to experience an increase in demand every year. The provision of chicken meat in Kendari City still depends on traditional markets through poultry slaughterhouses. This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of Good Hygiene Practices at poultry slaughterhouses located in traditional markets in Kendari City. The research was focused on worker competence, chicken meat products, and the production environment. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with 39 merchants from seven traditional markets in Kendari City. The results of this study indicated that 69.23% (27/39) of the respondents were in the productive age group, namely 21-40 years, while 48.72% (19/39) of the respondents' educational level were high school equivalents. In the whole production process, the poultry slaughterhouse did not separate clean and dirty rooms in handling carcasses. Meanwhile, on the environmental aspect, there were still poultry slaughterhouses without waste treatment and supervision. The results of this study concluded that the poultry slaughterhouses in traditional markets in Kendari City had not implemented Good Hygiene Practices thoroughly. Keyword: Good hygiene practices, poultry slaughterhouse, traditional market ABSTRAK Penjaminan kualitias dan keamanan pangan memiliki peranan penting dalam penyediaan bahan pangan. Daging ayam merupakan salah satu bahan pangan asal hewan yang terus mengalami peningkatan permintaan setiap tahunnya. Penyediaan daging ayam yang di Kota Kendari masih bergantung pada pasar tradisional melalui tempat pemotongan ayam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Good Hygiene Practices yang dilaksanakan pada tempat pemotongan ayam yang terletak di pasar tradisional Kota Kendari. Penitian difokuskan pada kompetensi pekerja, produk daging ayam serta lingkungan produksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melaui observasi dan wawancara pada 39 pelaku usaha dari 7 pasar tradisional yang terdapat di Kota Kendari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 69,23% (27/39) responden berada pada rentan usia produktif yaitu 21-40 tahun, 48,72% (19/39) tingkat pendidikan responden adalah SLTA sederajat. Pada proses produksi keseluruhan tempat pemotongan ayam tidak memisahkan antara ruang bersih dan ruang kotor dalam penanganan karkas. Sedangkan pada aspek lingkungan, masih ditemukan TPA yang berprodusi tanpa pengolahan limbah serta tanpa pengawasan. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tatalaksana pemotonan ayam di pasar tradisonal Kota Kendari belum menerapkan prosedur Good Hygiene Practices secara menyeluruh. Abstract

Bacterial contamination in chicken meat is an indicator in determining the quality of food ingredients. Contaminant bacteria cause damage to meat and cause foodborne disease due to their metabolite products. Staphylococcus aureus is a bacterium that causes food poisoning due to its toxin products. Meat contamination by Staphylococcus aureus occurs through the food itself or through the environment where it is processed. This study aims to isolate and identify the presence of Staphylococcus aureus in chicken meat and the production environment. The results of this study indicate that Staphylococcus aureus can be isolated from chicken meat (40%), the floor of the holding cage (26.67%), the place for bleeding (62.22%), the hair removal machine (64.44%) and the table. processing (80%) as a representation of environmental quality assessment indicators. These results illustrate that it is necessary to improve chicken slaughterhouses in traditional markets to increase and guarantee the quality of chicken meat.

Abstract

Cotton Bud Painting is a painting activity using cotton buds or media that can train children's fine motor development aspects, stimulate children's cognitive and social emotional development. This study aims to develop fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years through cotton bud painting activities. The focus of the problems in this study are: 1) How is the implementation of cotton bud painting activities to develop fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years?2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing cotton bud painting activities to develop fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years? This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) The implementation of cotton bud painting activities was able to develop children's fine motor skills as seen from the observations that children were able to hold cotton buds correctly, placing the right colors in their paintings. 2) The supporting factor in this study is the role of parents who always support activities at school. While the inhibiting factor is the child's lack of interest in participating in learning because learning is always carried out indoors. Abstract

Kabupaten Konawe Selatan merupakan salah satu sentra pengembangan berbagai komoditas ternak di Sulawesi Tenggara. Penyelenggaraan aktivitas peternakan berbasis komoditas ternak memiliki tantangan yang berbeda. Penentuan strategi pengembangan serta penentuan wilayah berdasarkan potensi masing-masing komoditas ternak dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan analisis SWOT dan Location Quotient (LQ). Data dihimpun melalui wawancara dan obsevasi lapangan yang berhubungan dengan keseluruhan aktivitas yang berhubungan dengan ternak. Hasil penelitian diperoleh pengaruh faktor kekuatan akan lebih besar dibandingkan pengaruh faktor kelemahan dengan nilai selisih +1,88 serta pengaruh peluang juga lebih besar dibandingkan dengan pengaruh acaman dengan nilai selisih +0,93. Hasil analisis LQ menunjukkan bahwa wilayah basis dan penyangga ditetapkan berdasarkan komoditas ternak. Diperlukan beberapa strategi dalam pengembangan peternakan berupa peningkatan pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi peternak, mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi meskipun ada keterbatasan modal, mengamankan dan meningkatkan mutu genetik ternak untuk melawan ancaman penyakit, dan mencari sumber pendanaan alternatif untuk mengatasi keterbatasan modal dan sarana produksi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically evaluate how firm size, liquidity, business risk and profitability affect firm value. The independent variables in the study consist of firm size using the natural logarithm proxy of total assets, liquidity using the Current Ratio proxy, business risk using the natural logarithm proxy of the standard deviation of earnings before interest and tax (EBIT), and profitability using the Return on Equity proxy. Firm value is determined as the dependent variable using the Price Book Value proxy. Using purposive sampling technique, there are 13 companies as samples from a population of 20 health companies listed on the IDX from 2020 to 2023. Multiple liner regression analysis was used to test secondary data from financial reports, as well as the company's annual report. Partially, firm size and liquidity are not indicated to affect firm value, while business risk and profitability have a positive influence on firm value.
