Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah; (1) Mengetahui desain alat untuk pewarnaan batik WOW dalam skala laboraturoium; (2) Mengetahui desain alat untuk pewarnaan batik WOW dalam skala industri; (3) Mengetahui kualitas motif batik WOW yang dihasilkan skala industri.Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu, Research and Development (R & D), metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Pengembangan alat untuk pewarnaan batik memperoleh hasil analisis dapat digunakan dengan sedikit perbaikan. Menggunakan alat proses pewarnaan  lebih efisien; (2) Pewarnaan menggunakan alat dapat menghasilkan motif WOW yang bervariasi, gradasi warna dan bauran warna yang dihasilkan juga sangat baik. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the physical characteristics of instant baby porridge with formulations of red rice flour and anchovy flour based on the best organoleptic tests and compare them with commercial baby porridge. This study uses Analysis of Variants (ANOVA). If it has a significant effect on the observation variable, then it is followed by the Duncan's Mutiple Range Test (DMRT) test at the confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The results of this study indicated that bulk density, wettability and brewing tests are 0.54 g/mL, 39.33 seconds and 38 mL. Characteristics of instant baby porridge formulations of red rice flour and anchovy flour had higher density, wettability and brewing tests better than commercial baby porridge. Keywords: Red rice flour, anchovy flour, instant baby porridge. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik fisik bubur bayi instan dengan formulasi tepung beras merah dan tepung ikan teri berdasarkan uji organoleptik terbaik dan membandingkannya dengan bubur bayi komersial. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (Analysis of Varian) (ANOVA). Apabila berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan’s Mutiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf kepercayaan 95% (α=0,05).Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa densitas kamba, wettability dan uji seduh berturut-turut sebesar 0,54 g/ml, 39,33 detik dan 38 mL. Karakteristik bubur bayi instan formulasi tepung beras merah dan tepung ikan teri memiliki densitas kamba, wettability dan uji seduh lebih baik dari bubur bayi komersial. Abstract

Woman Muslim (Muslimah) outfit had became trend or been a part of fashion blooming nowdays. The increase of fashion industry has positive impact for Indonesian economic condition. Fashion education and training did not have learning module yet, which is fit with National Worker Competency Standard (SKKNI) for muslimah fashion design. The purpose of this research is to develop muslimah outfit learning module based on National Worker Competency Standard. Research and development method is used for developing learning module, while expert validation technique is used for validating the module, and practition respondent is used for validating the suitable of the module. The developed learning module shows its validity observed on feasibility of content 3.47; feasibility of presentation 3.49; contextual value 3.38, feasibility of graphic 3.46; feasibility of language 3.53. The overall number 17.32 with an average 3.46 with the result that learning module is very valid. The result of data analysis collected from 10 respondents shows that this learning module strongly ready to use observed by content, language and anxiety. The conclution of this research are muslimah outfit learning module based on National Worker Competency Standard declared valid and can be used for school learning as well as training. Learning method with scientific approach involve process competency such as observe, classify, measure, predict, explain, and conclude. Learning module gives alternative competency based media to develop fashion word.

Abstract

Peternak ayam kampung di Kelurahan Labibia Kecamatan Mandonga Kota Kendari belum ada sentuhan teknologi tepatguna dalam  meningkatkan produktivitasnya. Peternak masih menggunakan sistem pengeraman alami, sehingga peningkatan produksi ayam menjadi rendah, disisi lainnya adalah produksi telur ayam kampung hanya mencapai 40 butir pertahun yang disebabkan induk ayam masih membutuhkan waktu untuk mengasuh anaknya setelah telur ditetaskan secara alami. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya penerapan teknologi melalui penetasan secara buatan (artificial incubation) dengan mesin tetas yang dapat memberikan manfaat dan memungkinkan tersedianya bibit ayam dalam jumlah yang banyak. Disisi lain penggunaan mesin tetas dapat menekan biaya pembelian DOC, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan bagi peternak ayam kampung. Pelaksanaan pengabdian Program Bina Desa Fakultas Peternakan UHO diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh peternak, yaitu dengan memperkenalkan inovasi teknlogi budidaya ayam kampung  melalui pendampingan teknis aplikasi teknologi mesin tetas. Program Bina Desa Fakultas Peternakan UHO dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Labibia Kecamatan Mandonga Kota Kendari. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan bimbingan teknis. Materi penyululuhan meliputi penguatan kelembagaan, konsep dasar inovasi teknologi mesin tetas sederhana dan ekonomis, metode pengoleksian telur tetas dan  metode pengoperasian alat mesin tetas. Sedangkan materi pada bimbingan teknis meliputi tehnik pembuatan mesin tetas, tehnik pengoleksian telur tetas dan tehnik pengoperasian alat mesin tetas. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, hasil yang telah dicapai pada Program Bina Desa di Kelurahan Labibia Kecamatan Mandonga Kota Kendari  dengan penerapan inovasi teknologi sederhana melalui bimbingan teknis pembuatan mesin tetas dapat meningkatakan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak dalam pembuatan mesin tetas pada kelompok ternak, serta dapat  menekan biaya pembelian DOC sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan peternak

Abstract

Kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap daging ayam lokal cenderung mengalami peningkatan yang diindikasikan dengan semakin berkembangnya industri kuliner dan bertambahnya restoran maupun rumah makan yang menyajikan daging ayam lokal khususnya di kota-kota besar. Kelurah Labibia merupakan salah satu wilayah di Kota Kendari yang masih memiliki peluang yang sangat besar untuk pengembangan ayam kampung. Peternak di Kelurahan Labibia Kecamatan Mandonga Kota Kendari memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah, untuk usaha budidaya ayam kampung. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman peternak dalam pemilihan induk dan pejantan unggul menjadi masalah utama yang di hadapi oleh peternak di Kelurahan Labibia Kecamatan Mandonga Kota Kendari. Selain pakan dan manajemen pemelihraan, bibit juga merupakan faktor penentu dalam pengembangan budidaya ayam kampung. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak perlu dilakukan, penyuluhan tentang tata cara atau metode seleksi indukan dan pejantan unggul melalui Program Bina Desa Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Halu Oleo. Pelaksanaan Program Bina Desa Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Halu Oleo dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Labibia Kecamatan Mandonga Kota Kendari. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan dalam bentuk penyuluhan baik secara massal, kelompok dan individu dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol pencegahan Covid-19. Materi penyululuhan meliputi penguatan kelembagaan dan metode seleksi indukan dan pejantan unggul. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, hasil yang telah dicapai pada Program Bina Desa di Kelurahan Labibia Kecamatan Mandonga Kota Kendari  melalui penyuluhan dan bimbingan teknis manajemen seleksi ayam kampung meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kelompok ternak sehingga peternak dapat meningkatkan produktifitas ayam kampung

Abstract

One of chicken farming byproduct that has potential to be processed to become more economical product is manure. If not treated well, the manure could spread odour and become the media for parasitic vectors like flies. Chicken manure can be processed into organic fertilizer for vegetable farming. Aside from personal use, the organic fertilizer then can be sold and increase the farmers’ income especially in COVID-19 pandemic where most economical sector collapsed. The problem faced by farmers at Anggalomelai, Abeli sub-district was their lack of knowledge on manure processing technologies. This themed KKN Program by FPt UHO aimed to offer solutions for farmers by giving technical guidance and counseling on manure processing technologies. This program was held for one month starting from June 13th until July 13th, 2020 on Anggomelai, Abeli sub-district, Kendari. The program was carried by technical guidance and counseling for farmers, either face to face or online by still maintaining the COVID-19 prevention protocols. Result obtained from this program showed the increasing knowledge of farmers in Anggomelai, Abeli sub-district especially in prrocessing chicken manure into organic fertilizer for vegetable farming.

Abstract

Barakkah Village coastal communities are still lacking of knowledge, skills and innovation in utilizing local potential especially in the marine sector so that what is sold is only fresh. The purpose of this community service program is to provide assistance so as to increase knowledge, skills and innovation for women in coastal areas in the form of knowledge that is easy to understand so that it is expected to improve the family's economy going forward. Based on the dedication made it can be seen that the response and enthusiasm of the trainees to take part in the training activities is very high as indicated by the fulfillment of the specified number of participants, the good response and enthusiasm of the trainees so as to facilitate the implementation of the program, participants can see firsthand the making of meatballs and shrimp broth in accordance with sanitation and hygiene requirements, participants gain knowledge about how to design packaging and make good and correct packaging and know how to administer of the P-IRT certificate if want to develop a business.

Abstract

Pengembangan ayam kampung dikalangan masyarakat memiliki peran yang sangat besar bagi kehidupannya terutama di pedesaan sebagai penghasil daging dan telur konsumsi dan sebagai sumber tambahan pendapatan, namun diberlakukannya Sosial Dintancing guna memutus penyebaran COVID-19, mengharuskan aktivitas masyarakat harus bekerja dari rumah (Work From Home), kondisi tersebut menyebabkan penurunan pendapatan masyarakat. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh peternak adalah kurangnya pengetahuan peternak tentang teknologi aplikatif budidaya ayam kampung yang dapat diterapkan di era pandemi COVID-19guna mempertahankan usahanya. Melalui program KKN-Tematik FPt UHO transfer Inovasi teknologi seleksi bibit unggul dan inseminasi buatan (IB), merupakan alternatif pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi peternak. Program ini dilaksanakan selama 1 (satu) bulan yaitu dimulai sejak tanggal 13 Juni 2020 sampai dengan tanggal 13 Juli 2020, di Kecamatan Nambo Kota Kendari. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan dalam bentuk Bimbingan Teknis (Bimtek) dan Penyuluhan yaitu (1) Bimtek dan Penyuluhan secara virtual/online; dan (2) Bimtek dan Penyuluhan dengan metode tatap muka baik secara individu ataupun lebih dan tetap memperhatikan protokol pencegahan Covid-19. Adapun materi penyuluhan program pemberdayaan ini, yaitu tehnik seleksi bibit unggul dan teknologi inseminasi buatan (IB) pada ayam kampung super. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan hasil yang telah dicapai pada kegiatan ini, yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang seleksi bibit unggul dan inseminasi buatan (IB), sehingga di era pandemi Covid-19 peternak ayam kampung tetap dapat mengembangkan keberlanjutan usahanya dan mampu mempertahankan ataupun meningkatkan pendapatanya.Kata Kunci: Ayam Kampung, Bibit Unggul, Inseminasi Buatan

Abstract

The lack of knowledge and skills in preparing domestic chicken rations will affect farmers' incomes. The fact so far shows that commercial animal feed that meets the local market of Southeast Sulawesi comes from outside the Southeast Sulawesi region, particularly South Sulawesi and Java. The price of commercial feed is certainly not cheap and is increasing from year to year, which affects the poor purchasing power of farmers. Improving farmers' knowledge and skills through technical guidance and advice as part of the FPHO Thematic Community Service Program will provide knowledge about the production of domestic chicken feed for farm animals to meet the food needs needed for growth, development and reproduction . This service will run for a month starting June 13, 2020 through July 13, 2020 in Nambo Village, Nambo District, Kendari City. This non-profit activity was carried out with the involvement of the participants in the UHO FPt Thematic KKN. The program is implemented in the form of technical guidance and advice, namely (1) technical guidance and virtual / online advice; and (2) technical guidance and advice using personal methods both individually and over and in compliance with the Covid 19 Prevention Protocol. The material for this Community Service Extension program is the technology for the production of animal feed based on local raw materials. Based on the activities undertaken, the results of FPt UHO's thematic community service will improve farmers 'knowledge and skills in producing local chicken feed based on local raw materials to reduce feed costs and improve farmers' income in Nambo village, Nambo District
