Abstract

The author examines and describes how agrarian reform is realized during different government periods. To do that, policy, and legal documents, directly or indirectly related to agrarian reform, is analysed. This research reveals that attempt at agrarian reform up to present is focussed developing policies aiming to restructure land ownership and utilization (land reform).   Another finding is that the promulgation of Law No. 11 of 2020 (Law on Job Creation) tends to shift the focus more on granting easy access to land for development purposes. This change of policy priority will have dire consequence to access to land for the poor and most likely increase agrarian conflicts.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology in the digital era has significantly transformed the business landscape. This transformation has the potential to create new opportunities and challenges across various sectors, including Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In the digital era, MSMEs have greater access to the global market through e-commerce platforms and social networks, enabling them to reach customers worldwide. However, along with these opportunities, significant legal challenges arise that can impact the legal protection of MSMEs within the context of business competition. Factors such as the dominance of large corporations, complex regulations, privacy issues, and intense competition can hinder the progress of MSMEs. From the perspective of competition law, legal protection for MSMEs is a critical aspect. Competition law aims to promote fair competition, protect consumer interests, and prevent harmful practices like monopolies and oligopolies that affect smaller entities like MSMEs. The research method employed in this paper is a type of doctrinal research that systematically explains a regulation, focusing on legal principles and legal systems. This research intends to provide in-depth insights and relevant solutions to ensure that MSMEs can compete fairly and succeed in an increasingly competitive digital environment. The study aims to address questions related to legal protection and legal challenges faced by MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

Controlling land indicated as abandoned is part of aligning agrarian reform goals. Effective land management will ensure land is used according to its intended purposes, including the right to cultivate. This study aims to describe and provide an overview of land classified as abandoned, focusing on land with cultivation rights granted and offers recommendations for respecting and protecting the community’s rights to the land they own. This study employs a normative juridical approach by comparing cases and statutory frameworks. The findings reveal various factors contributing to land abandonment and the government’s efforts to address this issue. Established norms should guide legal actions to achieve certainty and justice in land use. Implementing legal measures is part of harmonising existing regulations with societal realities, as outlined in paragraph 4 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, which mandates that the government protect the entire nation and promote the well-being of all citizens.

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia's capital city, which will move to Penajam Paser Utara in 2024, is directly connected to the Kampung Lama area, Samboja. The method used is socialization by implementing games to elementary school students. It is undeniable that there will be many immigrants filling this area with different racial and ethnic backgrounds. This makes conflicts prone to occur, especially in the past there has been a Sampit War involving two different tribes. Therefore, Peace Education is relevant and must be introduced to children of the younger generation as an effort to reconstruct today's social society. The results of community service through Peace Education have a good impact on understanding the resolution of conflicts that occur in the future so that this program becomes part of social reconstruction of conflicts that occur in the future. Elementary school students' understanding of conflict prevention can be minimized with games in the socialization of the Peace Education program. Keywords: Peace Education; Social Society; Conflict   Abstrak: Ibu Kota Negara Indonesia yang akan pindah di Penajam Paser Utara pada tahun 2024 terhubung langsung dengan wilayah Kampung Lama, Samboja. Abstract

The rise of digital business and technological advancement has shifted conventional economic practices to digital platforms, with e-commerce often dominated by companies using strategies like predatory pricing to maintain market control. Such practices, including flash sales and free shipping, are challenging to regulate due to difficulties in gathering sufficient evidence. This study employs a socio-legal research method, with data from interviews and legal materials, identifying three key indicators of predatory pricing: sales below production cost, competitor exit, and subsequent price increases. Although Indonesia's Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) enforces competition laws, evidence challenges and legal interpretation complexities remain. Policy reform and capacity-building efforts are essential for effective oversight in this evolving digital landscape. Keywords: E-commerce;Legal Supervision;Predatory Pricing

Abstract

In QRIS services, Bank Indonesia imposes two types of fees that must be paid by merchants or business actors as QRIS users: the Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) fee and the transaction settlement fee. The MDR fee is a fee borne by business actors in QRIS payment transactions. This study uses a socio-legal approach that focuses on business actors, QRIS users, Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority, Bank BCA, Bank Kaltimtara, and Bank BNI. The primary data source is the results of interviews with business actors, QRIS users, Bank Indonesia, the OJK, Bank BCA, Bank Kaltimtara, and Bank BNI. Secondary and tertiary data were obtained through a literature review to collect legal materials relevant to the study. The results of this study indicate that despite the existence of regulatory policies, legal protection for consumers in cases of charging additional fees outside the agreement on transactions using the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS) is not yet fully effective, both from a preventive and repressive perspective. The implementation of regulations related to the Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) fee has not been optimally implemented by the competent authorities in the QRIS payment system.

Abstract: Indonesia is rich in diverse tribes, languages, religions, and cultures owned by its people based on each region. Socialization about this matter was then carried out with the target of students of SMPN 1 Siluq Ngurai and SMAN 1 Siluq Ngurai using the method of presenting face-to-face. After this socialization, the millennial generation will be aware of the importance of instilling a culture of literacy regarding culture and citizenship.
