<![CDATA[The Tanjungbalai City Manpower Office was established with the aim of being a mediator between companies or job seekers in terms of the fulfillment of manpower needs and job vacancies that enter every year. The problems faced in Tanjungbalai City certainly cannot be separated from job seekers who have not found jobs according to their talents, interests and experiences. This is partly due to the last education level which is still not evenly distributed and there are no companies that match the criteria for the latest education of these job seekers. The purpose of the study is to find out the general description of Job Opportunities for Registered Job Seekers at the Tanjungbalai City Manpower Office, to find out the Single Exponential Smoothing method model that is applied to the system can be used by the Tanjungbalai City Manpower Office in order to reduce the limitations of Job Opportunities for Registered Job Seekers with the Single method. <![CDATA[E-SCM is a system that can manage the delivery of goods that can be integrated between consumers, suppliers and traders. The purpose of this research is to create a web-based E-SCM system for glassware inventory management, which will be implemented at the Glosir Raju store. The model used to build this system is the system development life cycle, which includes the analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview and observation. While the design phase in this research consists of making interfaces, use case diagrams, and class diagrams. Our result is a web-based E-SCM system for managing the distribution of glassware. The test results show that all functions work well in this system and follow the set design. Therefore, the E-SCM system for glassware shops makes the delivery of raw materials faster, and there are no delays in delivery, making the production process faster, more effective, and efficient, especially at the Glosir Raju store.]]>

<![CDATA[This study was languages focused on comparative historical linguistics. The comparisons between two or more languages can be said to be age-appropriate with the emergence of linguistics itself. Understanding of a language is very interesting to know the extent to which there are similarities or similarities between aspects of the language that discussed the relationship of Proto Austronesian and Minangkabau. This study used the descriptive quantitative research design. These data were taken from the corpus (internet document) and also went to the field by interviewing the native speakers of the Minangkabau language. The researchers have found 97 related vocabularies that consist of 36 identical pairs, 27 pairs that had phonemic correspondences, 25 phonetic similarities, and 9 different phonemes. After calculating the percentage of kinship, the result of kinship is 49%. That means the kinship between the Proto-Austronesian language and the Minangkabau language is very close. From the findings of the related vocabularies, it could be explained that the Proto-Austronesian and Minangkabau languages are very close because they have had more than 20 % (twenty percent).]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Audio-visual media is a method to produce or deliver materials by using mechanical and electronic machines to present audio-visual messages. Teaching through audiovisual media is clearly characterized by the use of hardware during learning such as television, tape recorder, and wide visual projector. In this English-speaking learning using video media, infocus, and laptop. The material is given in the form of overall English. The researcher presented several films about English and the English Speaking Club for Students students were very passionate and responded positively so that they were able to speak in English by communicating entirely in English. They are also more interactive in speaking English. The students’ speaking ability got the progress so significant and can improve their speaking skills in English. Abstrak: Media audio visual adalah suatu cara untuk menghasilkan atau menyampaikan materi dengan menggunakan mesin mekanik dan elektronik untuk menyajikan pesan audio visual. Pengajaran melalui media audiovisual jelas ditandai dengan penggunaan perangkat keras selama pembelajaran seperti televisi, tape recorder, dan proyektor visual yang lebar. Dalam pembelajaran berbahasa Inggris ini menggunakan media video, infocus, dan laptop. Materi yang diberikan berupa bahasa Inggris secara keseluruhan. Peneliti menyajikan beberapa film tentang Bahasa Inggris dan English Speaking Club untuk Siswa siswa sangat antusias dan merespon positif sehingga mereka mampu berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris dengan berkomunikasi sepenuhnya dalam bahasa Inggris. Mereka juga lebih interaktif dalam berbicara bahasa Inggris. Kemampuan berbicara siswa mengalami kemajuan yang sangat signifikan dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mereka dalam bahasa Inggris. Kata Kunci: Audio-visual; Media; Kemampuan berbicara.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: IT learning aims to help students to be able to seek knowledge and information through references to educational sites that the authors provide and so students are expected to be able to look for references to other sites related to education. The students never open sites with negative content. The students can be wiser in reading and disseminating information sourced from the internet. The students are able to use social media properly and wisely and are able to develop their business and interests through social media. Achievement of these objectives can be done through counseling, presentation and question and answer. After the activity, evaluation and monitoring were carried out by members of the community service to see an increase in understanding and use of the internet that was safer and better. Para santri tidak pernah membuka situs-situs yang berkonten negative. Para santri dapat lebih bijak dalam membaca dan menyebarkan informasi yang bersumber dari internet. Para santri mampu menggunakan sosial media dengan baik dan bijak serta mampu mengembangkan usaha dan minat melalui sosial media. <![CDATA[Abstract: This training is a means or facility for students who are studying at LKP Royal Skill Training center in Tanjung Balai City to understand how they develop speaking skills in English using visual media. The visual media used is YouTube which is related to basic material in speaking skills. The students were asked to watch and understand what the actors and actresses were talking about on YouTube. The students were asked to provide comments on the topics they talked about then they made up the conversations they had watched. Keywords: Visual; Speaking ability; Youtube. Abstrak: Pelatihan ini merupakan sarana bagi para peserta didik atau siswa yang sedang belajar di LKP Royal Skill Training Center di Kota Tanjung Balai untuk memahami bagaimana mereka mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara dalam Bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan media visual. Media visual yang digunakan adalah youtube yang berkaitan dengan materi dasar dalam kemampuan berbicara. <![CDATA[Abstract: Communicative teaching-learning is one of the communicative learning which is from Translation learning and Task-based on learning. Communicative learning is always used many teachers to make the students more actively in learning process especially in learning the language to develop the students skill in speaking. The writer did the training English language by communicating to the students directly. The writer described all the material related to the speaking materials and the materials were the easiest and the hottest news which was being talked by many people. The students have showed their skill in English. One by one of the students told their story in English even though their English was not so good. They were happy and motivated in this training. The students were grade 10, 11, and 12 at MAS Bahrul Uluum Al-Kamal Asahan. After doing the communicative english teaching learning, they had spirit much more in learning.Keywords: communicativ; training; communicative learningAbstrak: Pembelajaran komunikatif merupakan salah satu pembelajaran komunikatif yang bersumber dari pembelajaran Translation dan pembelajaran berbasis Tugas. Pembelajaran komunikatif selalu digunakan banyak guru untuk membuat siswa lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran terutama dalam pembelajaran bahasa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Penulis melakukan pelatihan bahasa Inggris dengan cara berkomunikasi langsung dengan siswa. Penulis memaparkan semua materi yang berkaitan dengan materi berbicara dan materi tersebut merupakan berita termudah dan terhangat yang sedang dibicarakan oleh banyak orang. Para siswa telah menunjukkan keterampilan mereka dalam bahasa Inggris. Satu per satu siswa menceritakan kisah mereka dalam bahasa Inggris meskipun bahasa Inggris mereka tidak begitu baik. Mereka senang dan termotivasi dalam pelatihan ini. Siswa-siswi tersebut adalah siswa kelas 10, 11, dan 12 di MAS Bahrul Uluum Al-Kamal Asahan. <![CDATA[Abstract:This training is one of facilitaties to the students to understand about the english tenses of structure very quickly and accurately. This devotion to the community (society) was done to the students who were studying at the Training Course Bintang Mulia Kecamatan Sei Balai Kabupaten Batu Bara. This study used the qualitative research by explaining very shortly and by doing the exercises or simulation. In this training, the students were also given a chance or a few chances in asnwering the questions in the exercises when the training were doing. The amount of participants were 20 (twenty) persons or students who were actively studying either in the computer or English. Keywords: Tenses, Training, Devotion to society. Abstrak: Pelatihan ini merupakan sarana bagi para peserta didik atau siswa untuk memahami tenses Bahasa Inggris dengan mudah dan akurat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diperuntuk bagi siswa yang sedang belajar di LKP Bintang Mulia Sei Balai Kabupaten Batu Bara. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah dengan cara kualitatif dengan memberikan penjelasan singkat dan dengan melakukan simulasi atau latihan. Dalam pelatihan, para siswa juga diberi kesempatan untuk menjawab pertanyaan dalam bentuk latihan ketika proses pelatihan sedang berlangsung. <![CDATA[Abstract: School Brainfor Islamic School is in the town of Kisaran, Asahan District, a school that has only a few classes. However, teaching process activities are minimal and require variations and methods used with material explanation techniques using book media as well as whiteboards and demonstration tools. With the development of the method of using Ms. PowerPoint aims to be able to help teachers or schools in the use of delivering varied material both in class for presenting material to students and for presentations between school parties to parents of students. This dedication aims at none other than to provide education to the school, and counseling so that they are able to use the Ms. application. Powerpoint. With this activity, counseling also uses socialization, discussion, and training methods as well as assistance to partners so they can operate the Ms. application. Powerpoint. The result to be achieved in this service is that more partners will be able to use familiar application methods or media. Paying attention to supporting the process of delivering teaching material using Ms. Powerpoint to add insight and be able to take advantage of digital media.Keywords: IT; Material; Ms. Powerpoint Abstrak: Sekolah Brainfor Islamic School berada di kota Kisaran, Kabupaten Asahan, sekolah yang memiliki hanya beberapa kelas. Dengan adanya perkembangan metode penggunaan aplikasi Ms. powerpoint bertujuan agar dapat membantu bagi guru atau pihak sekolah dalam kegunaan penyampaian materi yang bervariatif baik saat di dalam kelas untuk pemaparan materi ke peserta didik maupun pemaparan rapat antar pihak sekolah ke wali murid. Dengan kegiatan ini pula penyuluhan menggunakan metode sosialisasi, diskusi dan pelatihan serta pendampingan kepada mitra agar dapat mengoperasikan aplikasi Ms. Powerpoint. Hasil yang akan dicapai dalam pengabdian ini adalah akan bertambahnya mitra dapat menggunakan metode atau media aplikasi tidak asing lagi. <![CDATA[Abstract: The research aims to identify the semiotics aspects in the Candidates Of North Sumatera Governor 2013 2018. The communications in the data convey peoples emotions, feelings, and messages through expressive actions. By analyzing the communication, the people are able to be easy to understand the communication by using the body moving in semiotics in daily communication and ease people to understand messages delivered primarily in front of the public and help the speakers deliver ideas or opinions to the audiences. The research was conducted through qualitative descriptive analysis. The research data was the public debate on TV One Channel of The Candidates Of North Sumatera Governor 2013 2018, and the source of data was www.youtube.com. The research data were five candidates of the governors in the general election 2013 in 240 minutes. Body movement expression can be found in all five candidates speeches with the highest number of gestures performed by Chairman Harahap. The research results were that Chairman Harahap has 21 gestures, Effendi Simbolon has 18 gestures, Gus Irawan Pasaribu has 16 gestures, Gatot Pujo Nugroho has 12 Amri Tambunan has only the body movement (semiotics).Keywords: semiotics; body movement; debating Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi aspek semiotika pada Calon Gubernur Sumatera Utara 2013 2018. Komunikasi dalam data tersebut menyampaikan emosi, perasaan, dan pesan masyarakat melalui tindakan ekspresif. Dengan menganalisis komunikasi, masyarakat dapat dengan mudah memahami komunikasi dengan menggunakan gerak tubuh secara semiotika dalam komunikasi sehari-hari dan memudahkan masyarakat untuk memahami pesan yang disampaikan terutama di depan umum dan membantu pembicara menyampaikan ide atau pendapat kepada audiens. Penelitian dilakukan melalui analisis deskriptif kualitatif . Data penelitian ini adalah debat publik di Channel TV One Calon Gubernur Sumut 2013 2018, dan sumber datanya adalah www.youtube.com. Data penelitian adalah lima calon gubernur pada pemilihan umum tahun 2013 dalam waktu 240 menit. Ekspresi gerakan tubuh, dapat ditemukan pada kelima pidato kandidat dengan jumlah gestur terbanyak dilakukan oleh Ketua Harahap. Hasil penelitian adalah Ketua Harahap memiliki 21 gestur, Effendi Simbolon memiliki 18 gestur, Gus Irawan Pasaribu memiliki 16 gestur, Gatot Pujo Nugroho memiliki 12 Amri Tambunan hanya memiliki gerak tubuh (semiotika).]]>
