Abstract

The quality of a children's development should be increased since the children are in their Toddlers time for their developments determine the further developments, so the slightest deviation must be detected and handled properly as not to reduce the quality of human resources in the future later. One instrument of stimulation, detection and early intervention of growth and development for children at age of 3 to 72 months drawn up by the health Office in coordination with Indonesian Pediatric Association (IDAI) is a Pre-screening questionnaire development (). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of counseling on KPSP toward the knowledge of teachers at PAUD (early childhood education) Taman Belia Candi Semarang. The design of this study is quantitative comparative using a quasi-experimental methods (quasi experi-mental) with pre-post test, a sample of 22 early childhood teachers using total sampling. Bivariate analysis was done by using paired t-test after completing the data normality test using Shapiro-Wilk. The Average knowledge before the extension was 9.77 and deviation standard 1998. While the average knowledge after counseling was 16 with 2,045 SD, visible differences between the mean value of measurements before and after counseling. Results of statistical test t-paired with p value 0.000 <0.05, then there was a significant difference in knowledge between before and after counseling about KPSP. The conclusion is KPSP counseling was capable of improving knowledge effectively. And for Candilama Public Health Center and the ECD are expected to improve cooperation in efforts to monitor the children’s development.Keywords: Development, Pre-Screening Questionnaire Development (KPSP)

Abstract

Background: The causes of maternal death are divided into two, direct and indirect causes. The direct causes of maternal death include complications of pregnancy, delivery, and parturition, i.e bleeding (30-35%), eclampsia (28.76%), infection (20-25%), gestosis (15-17%). Bleeding and eclampsia is an emergency case that requires fast and responsive midwife action. Problems arise when actions taken have substantial risks, requiring the midwife to seek informed consent.Objective: To explore midwives' perception of informed consent on emergency action. Exploring midwives' perception of informed consent requirements on emergency acion. Exploring midwives' perception of informed consent implementation on emergency action. Exploring obstacles to the implementation of informed consent on emergency action. Exploring efforts to overcome obstacle to the implementation of informed consent on emergency action.Research Method: This research uses qualitative method. Data collection techniques were used by in-depth interviews. The number of informants are 3 midwives who work in District Health Center of Semarang Health Office area.Results: The results of in-depth interviews on the informants obtained information about midwives perception in terms of informed consent is the approval in performing emergency, informed consent requirements that is administratively can be implemented after handling emergency, the implementation of informed consent is explained to the patient when handling emergency and administration can adjust the patient's condition, the implementation of informed consent due to the condition of the patient during the emergency and no one to deliver.Suggestion: For the District Health Center (Puskesmas) to involve health cadres in motivating pregnant women to check their pregnancy that accompanied by husband or family (to anticipate emerging emergency).Keywords: informed consent, obstetric emergency
