Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini akan melakukan implementasi Model Evaluasi Pendidikan Karakter pada Rumpun Pembelajaran Ekonom. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research Development yang dikembangkan Borg and Gall.  Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa di Fakultas Ekonomi yang sedang mengambil matakuliah rumpun ekonomi dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 186 mahasiswa yang terdiri  empat  prodi S1 yang ada di Fakultas Ekonomi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji manova. Hasil dari penelitian ini ada dua. Pertama, asesmen karakter mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran ekonomi menyatakan bahwa pada awal semester (pengamatan awal) karakter mahasiswa cenderung rendah tetapi setelah pengimplementasian pendidikan karakter pada pertengahan semester (pengamatan akhir) karakter mahasiswa cenderung sedang ke tinggi. Kedua, Pembelajaran ekonomi yang menerapkan model evaluasi pendidikan karakter dapat dikatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter mahasiswa. Terbukti dengan adanya rata- rata antara pretest dan posttest yang signifikan. Abstract: This research aims to implement the Character Education Evaluation Model in the Economist Learning Cluster. The study used the Research Development approach developed by Borg and Gall. The research subjects were students at the Faculty of Economics. They were taking economic classes with 186 students as respondents consisting of four undergraduate study programs in the Faculty of Economics. The data analysis technique used was the Manova test. The results of this study are twofold. First, the assessment of student character in economic learning states that at the beginning of the semester (initial observation), the character of the student tends to be low, but after the implementation of character education in the middle of the semester (final observation) the character of the student tends to be high. Second, economic learning that applies the character education evaluation model can be effective in improving student character. It is proven by the significant mean between pretest and posttest.

Abstract

Economic crisis in Indonesia shows that economic development paradigm with trickle down effect strategy, which give a priority to conglomerate economic role is not suitable strategy, since it can not provide strong economic foundation. During economic crisis, conglomerates economic experienced of bankruptcy and negative economic growth; on the contrary small and medium business (enterprise) survived even it was able to lead economic to recovery process. Small and medium business have important role in reducing unemployment, equalizing income distribution, and reducing urbanization rate. However, small and medium business face many problems, such as: lack of capital, marketing limitation, and low quality of human resources and used technology. Considering how important role of small and medium business and many problem faced by them so that it is need to enhance government support.

Abstract

Poverty is a major problem of economic development, because of that the economic development is directed to reduce the poverty. Since poverty is a complex and multidimensional problem including economic, culture and structural, therefore it is reasonable if the program to overcome that problem apply a comprehensive approach instead of merely of economic aspect. Many safety net program have been implemented to eradicate poverty, such as: food aids program, IDT, PDM-DKE, and P2KP. Among those programs, P2KP is thought as a suitable program to society in eradicating poverty since P2KP involves principles of democracy, participation, transparency and decentralization.

Abstract

AbstractPoverty eradication is one indicator of the success of the development attempts.Poverty is a complex and multidimensional problem. Attempts to eradicatepoverty that have been made so far are not successful because they focus only oneconomic aspects, not on empowerment and involvement of the local people byestablishing local societal institutions. Autonomous PNPM is a program toeradicate poverty that is based on empowerment through learning by (1) creatingan atmosphere accommodating values of universal humanitarianism, societalprinciples and sustainable development (2) strengthening local societal institutions,(3) strengthening potentials through funding, training, and environmentaldevelopment, and (4) protecting the certainty of the programs for the poor.Keywords: poverty, empowerment, autonomous PNPM

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi guru SMP dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah para guru peserta kegiatan sosialisasi kurikulum 2013 oleh Direktorat Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah Depdikbud di Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah 55 orang guru SMP dari Kabupaten Gunung Kidul dan Sleman. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan survei. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi, sedang analisis data menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kualitatif berupa narasi, sedang analisis kuantitatif digunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru SMP di DIY: (1) memiliki tingkat kompetensi PTK dalam kategori sedang khususnya tingkat penguasaan teoretik, kemampuan kognitif, dan kemampuan teknis: (2) tidak ada perbedaan tingkat kompetensi PTK antara guru golongan III dengan golongan IV: (3) guru yang pernah melakukan PTK memiliki kemampuan kognitif dan pengalaman yang berbeda dibandingkan guru yang belum pernah melakukan PTK; (4) tidak ada perbedaan penguasaan teoretis, kemampuan kognitif, kemampuan teknis yang disebabkan oleh masa kerja. Kata Kunci : kompetensi, penelitian tindakan kelas, guru SMP JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS’ COMPETENCE IN CONDUCTING CLASSROOMACTIONRESEARCH Abstract: This study was aimed to describe the competence of junior high school teachers in conducting Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects were participants in the socialization of Curriculum2013 run by the Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education, Department of Education in Yogyakarta. The subjects were 55 junior high school teachers from Sleman and Gunung Kidul regencies. This study used the survey approach. The data were colllected using questionnaires and documentation. The data were analyzed using the qualitative and quantitative anlayses. The qualitative analysis was in the form of narrative, while the quantitative analysis used the t-test. The findings showed that: (1) the teachers’ competence in conducting classroom action research belonged to the fair category, especially their theoretical mastery level, their cognitive ability, and their technical ability; (2) there was no significant difference in the competence in conducting classroom action research between the third rank teachers and the fourth rank teachers; (3) teachers who had conducted classroom action research had different cognitive competences and experience from those who had not conducted classroom action research; (4) there was no significant difference in the theoretical mastery, cognitive competence, and technical ability due to working experience. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas metode problem based learning, serta menyelidiki metode manakah yang lebih efektif antara metode Problem based learning dan metode ceramah ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X MA Nurussalam Tetebatu. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara acak dari tiga kelas yang ada, sehingga diperoleh kelas X.3 dan X.2. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari: (1) one sample t-test digunakan untuk menyelidiki perbedaan keefektifan pembelajaran dengan metode problem based learning, (2)  multivariate Analysis of Variance (Manova) digunakan untuk menyelidiki apakah terdapat perbedaan antara pembelajaran dengan metode Problem based learning dan metode ceramah, dan (3) uji lanjut Univariat dengan kriteria Bonferroni digunakan untuk menyelidiki metode mana yang lebih efektif antara metode Problem Based learning dan metode ceramah ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap sosial siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pembelajaran dengan metode problem based learning efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap sosial siswa, (2) metode ceramah tidak efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, (3) metode ceramah efektif untuk meningkatkan sikap sosial siswa, dan (4) metode problem based learning lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap sosial siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk bahan ajar berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Keterampilan sosial dalam penelitian ini meliputi aspek bekerjasama, komunikasi, dan tanggungjawab sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (RD) dengan pengembangan yang mengadaptasi model DickCarey. Validasi dilakukan oleh 2 ahli materi dan 2 ahli media. Uji coba dilakukan 2 tahap, yaitu uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan. Berdasarkan analisis data dengan menggunakan MANOVA, diketahui terdapat perbedaan keterampilan sosial dan prestasi belajar antara pembelajaran tanpa bahan ajar berbasis  problem based learning dengan pembelajaran bahan ajar berbasis problem based learning. Kata kunci: Bahan ajar berbasis problem based learning, keterampilan sosial.
