Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi dan prestasi belajar IPS dengan metode Mind Mappingdengan 36 peserta didik sebagai subjek penelitian. Prosedur penelitian dimulai dari  perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan angket.Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: 1) capaian  motivasi berprestasi pada prasiklus 16 peserta didik (44,44%) masuk dalam kategori tidak baik, mengalami kenaikan menjadi 26 peserta didik (72,22%) masuk kategori cukup pada siklus 1, dan pada siklus ke-2 masuk dalam kategori baik sebanyak 28 peserta didik (77,78%);  2) hasil prestasi peserta didik mengalami kenaikan: perolehan nilai lebih dari KKM sebanyak 20 peserta didik (55,56%) meningkat, pada siklus 1 sebanyak 25 peserta didik (69,44%), dan siklus 2 sebanyak 29 peserta didik (80,56%). Rata-rata hasil belajar pada prasiklus 55,60, meningkat menjadi 66,39 pada siklus 1 dan 72,50 pada siklus ke-2.   Kata kunci: motivasi berprestasi, prestasi belajar, metode mind mapping This classroom action research aims to improve the achieving motivation and IPS learning achievement using mind mapping method with 36 students as subjects in this study.This research starts from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The techniques of collecting data are tests, observations, and questionnaires within quantitative descriptive technique as the way of analysis data. The results of the study are: 1) the achievingmotivation in pre-cycle, there 16 students (44.44%) are in worst category; there 26 students in 1st cycle (72.22%) are inenough category and28 students in 2nd cycle (77.78%) are in good category; 2) the result of students achievement increases based on their test scores that up to KKM: 20 students (55.56%) get it in pre-cycle; 25 students (69.44%) get it in 1st cycle, and 29 students (80, 56% in 2nd cycle). The average learning outcomes in pre-cycleis 55.60 and it increases to 66.39 in 1stcycle and 72.50 in  2nd cycle. Keywords:  achievement motivation, learning achievement, mind mapping method

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar IPS siswa melalui metode cooperative learning tipe STAD.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Mangunsari 3 Kabupaten Magelang tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 20 orang, terdiri 14 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji deskriptif frekuentif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa, yaitu: (1) siklus 1, sebanyak 16 siswa (80%) mencapai ketuntasan belajar;(2) siklus II,sebanyak 17 siswa (85%) mampu mencapai ketuntasan belajar; dan (3) siklus III, sebanyak 20 siswa (100%) mampu mencapai ketuntasan belajar.   Kata kunci: cooperative learning STAD, aktifitas belajar, prestasi belajar IPS.     The purpose of this research is to increase students’ activity and IPS learning achievement through cooperative learning STAD. This study is a classroom action research. The subjects of this research are students of class V SD Negeri 3 Mangunsari Magelang in school year 2013/2014 (20 students), comprising 14 boys and 6 girls. The technique of collecting data using interviews, observation and tests. Data are analyzed using descriptive test frequently. The results show that: (1) Cycle 1, there are 16 students (80%) achieved complete learn; 2) Cycle II, there are 17 students (85%) were able to achieve mastery learning; and 3) Cycle III, there are 20 students (100%) were able to achieve mastery learning. Abstract

Abstract The objective of this research was to find out the  influence of the form of exercises and the type of text on the students’ achievement in reading for comprehension. The exercises consisted of answering questions and making a summary, and the texts were narrative, descriptive, expository, and argumentative. Using the 2 x 4 factorial designs, the research was conducted in a State Junior High School. The results of the analysis indicated that: (1) the form of exercise influenced the students’ achievement in reading descriptive and expository tests. The mean of scores on reading comprehension on descriptive and expository texts achieved by the students trained using summary- making exercise was higher than the mean of scores on reading comprehension test of the students trained using question-answering practice. The form of the exercise did not influence the students’ achievement in reading narrative and argumentative texts. Keywords: reading exercise, types of text

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari Jawa tradisional Nawung Sekar di SDN Rejodani dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter dan bentuk penanaman pendidikan karakter dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari Jawa Nawung Sekar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dan uji keabsahan data dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari Jawa tradisional Nawung Sekar di SDN Rejodani Sleman dilakukan dengan cara intervensi dan habituasi baik dalam proses pembelajaran melalui pengarahan, bimbingan, pembiasaan dan keteladanan, dan penciptaan kondisi selama tahap persiapan, pendahuluan, inti dan kegiatan penutup. Dalam ragam gerak yang terkandung dalam setiap ragam gerak tari Nawung Sekar pun disisipi penanaman karakter. Bentuk penanaman pendidikan karakter meliputi bentuk penanaman nilai karakter religius, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, cinta damai, mandiri, kreatif, peduli sosial dan tanggung jawab.THE IMPLEMENTING OF CHARACTER EDUCATION THROUGH NAWUNG SEKAR DANCE AS EXTRACULICULAR ACTIVITYThis study was aimed at determining the implementation of the traditional Javanese dance Nawung Sekar as an extracurricular activity at Rejodani primary school in instilling character education and forming characters. The research method used in this study was a qualitative method. The data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis was performed using the Miles and Huberman model, while the data validity was tested by triangulation. The results of this study show that, for instilling character education in the extracurricular activity of traditional Javanese dance, Nawung Sekar at Rejodani primary school was done through intervention and habituation both in the learning process (through direction, guidance, habituation and example) and the creation of conditions during the preparation, introduction, core, and closing activities. In the range of movements contained in each of the Nawung Sekar, the implementation of character education was inserted. The forms of character education implemented in this activity are religious character values, tolerance, discipline, hard work, curiosity, patriotism, love of peace, independence, creativity, and social care and responsibility.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis game yang menarik dan mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan prestasi belajar dengan media tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Hasil pengembangan divalidasi oleh pakar media dan IT, sedangkan validasi materi dan tes evaluasi game dilakukan oleh ahli materi bahasa indonesia dan PKn. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik inferensial yaitu Mann-Whitney U-Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai beikut. (1) Pengembangan media game yang menarik dilakukan dengan mengembangkan design game petualangan si Bolang. (2) Tidak ada perbedaan signifikan prestasi belajar dengan media game dan gambar. (3) Ada perbedaan signifikan motivasi belajar dengan media game dan gambar. (4) Media game lebih efektif untuk meningkatan motivasi belajar dibandingkan dengan media gambar.Kata Kunci: game petualangan “Si Bolang”, prestasi hasil belajar, motivasi belajar DEVELOPING A GAME CALLED “PETUALANGAN SI BOLANG” AS THE THEMATICS LEARNING MEDIA TO IMPROVE THE FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT Abstract: This study was aimed to develop an interesting game-based teaching media and to find out the difference in the motivation and learning achievement of the students taught using the media. This study used the research and development model. The product was validated by a media and IT expert, while the validation of the materials and the evaluation of the game was done by content experts at Indonesian and Civic education. The instruments used were questionnaires and tests. The data were analyzed using the inferential statistical analysis, that Mann-Whitney U-Test. The findings showed that (1) the development of an interesting game media was carried out by developing a game called “Petualangan si Bolang”; (2) There was no significant difference in the learning achievement of the students taught using a game and those taught using pictures; (3) There was no significant difference in the learning motivation of the students taught using a game and those taught using pictures; (4) the game media was more effective to improve the learning motivation than the picture media. Abstract

Innovative learning models are needed in social studies learning. Learning becomes interesting so that it can increase the creativity and learning outcomes of students. One of the innovative learning models is the Mind Mapping learning model. This study aims to determine the increase in creativity and learning outcomes of Class VI elementary school students. This type of research is classroom action research. The research was conducted in three cycles, each cycle three times meeting through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class VI SD Negeri Nglaris Bener Purworejo with a total of 11 students consisting of 6 male students and 5 female students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and written tests. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques on the results of observations and quantitative analysis techniques on student learning outcomes. Based on the research results, it is known that the application of the mind mapping learning model can increase the creativity of social studies learning, namely in the pre-cycle 9.09%, the first cycle 9.09%, the second cycle 36.36%, and the third cycle 90.91%. The application of the mind mapping learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes, namely in the pre-cycle 9.09%, the first cycle 54.55%, the second cycle 72.73%, and the third cycle 81.82%.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) increase the activeness of students in social studies learning through the NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning model in class VI students of SD Negeri Kenteng, Banyuurip District, Purworejo Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year. 2) increase the motivation of students in social studies learning through the NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning model in class VI students of SD Negeri Kenteng, Banyuurip District, Purworejo Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year. 3) improve social studies learning outcomes through the NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning model for class VI students at SD Negeri Kenteng, Banyuurip District, Purworejo Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year. The type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were students of class VI SD Negeri Kenteng totaling 28 students, 15 male and 13 female. The research was conducted in 3 cycles with 2 meetings in each cycle. Data collection techniques using observation and written tests. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis. The results show that 1) the NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning model can increase the activity of students in class VI SD Negeri Kenteng for the academic year 2021/2022 with a success indicator of 70% of students meeting the medium category, namely pre-cycle by 32.14%, cycle I was 42.86%, the second cycle was 60.71%, and the third cycle was 75%. 2) The use of the NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning model increases the motivation of students in class VI SD Negeri Kenteng for the 2021/2022 academic year with a success indicator of 70% of students meeting the minimum medium category, namely pre-cycle of 17.86%, cycle I of 28,57%, the second cycle of 53.57%, and the third cycle of 71.43%. 3) The use of the NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class VI SD Negeri Kenteng for the 2021/2022 academic year with the research success category of 70% of students fulfilling the KKM for social studies lesson content (75), namely the pre-cycle of 39 .29%, the first cycle of 53.57%, the second cycle of 60.71%, and the third cycle of 71.43%.

Abstract

TERPADU learning approach is an abbreviation of the learning stages, namely Telaah, Eksplorasi, Rumuskan, Presentasikan, Aplikasikan, Duniawi, Ukhrowi, all are implemented as learning activities in the classroom. This approach was developed by JaringanSekolah Islam Terpadu (JSIT) to be implemented by all Integrated Islamic Schools under its auspices. However, in reality, not all schools understand and apply this approach. This study aims to determine how the application of the INTEGRATED learning approach in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School. The methodology used in this research is a combined method (mix method), which is a research method that combines quantitative methods and qualitative methods to be used together in the research activity, so that more comprehensive, valid, reliable, and reliable data are obtained and objective. Researchers carried out observations and documentation of the lesson plans and how to teach teachers in the classroom, distributed questionnaires to teachers, and conducted interviews with the Principal at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School or Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT). This study concludes that most teachers at SDIT have implemented an INTEGRATED learning approach in teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Principals and Curriculum have encouraged teachers to create INTEGRATED learning designs to be applied to classroom learning. The school provides full support for the implementation of the INTEGRATED learning approach in the classroom by providing the various facilities needed. Students actively participate in learning in class and complete assignments well.

Abstract

This study aims to know increasin the activeness, self-confidence, and learning outcomes of students in social studies learning through the application of the STAD type learning model. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Winongkidul. The subjects in this study were sixth grade students of SD Winongkidul. This type of research is classroom action research. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative with percentages. The results showed that 1) Increasing the activeness of students in social studies learning through the application of the STAD model by the pre-cycle at 13 students (54.17%) increased in the first cycle to 17 students (70.84) and the second cycle to 21 students (87.5%). 2) Increased self-confidence of students in social studies learning through the application of the STAD type learning model in the pre-cycle 14 students (58.33%) increased in the first cycle to 19 students (79.17) and in Cycle II to 23 students (95.83%) 3) Improving student learning outcomes in social studies learning through the application of the STAD model in the pre-cycle 12 students (50%), increased in the first cycle to 16 students (66.67%) and in the second cycle increased to 22 students (91.67%).
