Abstract

Information systems cannot be separated from a database as the main database. As time goes by, the amount of data processed by information systems increases significantly. Currently, databases are not only stored in one storage media location, but can also be stored in different locations and locations. This is also supported by advances in network technology, both hardware and supporting software. The distributed database system model provides significant support for processing data stored in different locations. Many information system implementations use the concept of a distributed database system. The aim of this research is to study the development of database system implementation using distributed database system technology. This research uses a systematic literature observation approach. The results obtained are that the concept of a distributed database system is still used today to support information system governance that produces information tailored to user objectives. Systems created using development techniques based on the distributed database concept have advantages in several aspects of development.

Abstract

An institution or an office definitely needs personnel or Human Resources (HR). If HR can be well organized, it is hoped that the company can also manage all business processes properly. Every company has criteria for assessing the performance of its employees. Therefore a decision support system was built using the SAW method. By using the SAW method, the best alternative is sought based on the specified criteria. In this study, the SAW method was adopted and can be carried out according to the expected results. Tests in this study used white box and black box testing with the results according to the original plan and can be said to be successful.

Abstract

Pelaku usaha UMKM adalah kelompok penting yang menggerakkan perekonomian mikro dimasyarakat. Paguyuban UMKM Lentera yang terletak di Mranggen Demak, sebelah timur pinggir kota Semarang, juga perlu mendapatkan perhatian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan dan pendapatan. Hal ini dilihat dari maraknya pembukaan minimarket yang tumbuh dibanyak area penduduk. Permasalahan yang dihadapai saat ini dalah area pemasaran yang terbatas dan jumlah pendapatan yang saat ini stagnan dan cenderung menurun. Solusi yang ditawarkan atas permasalahan adalah adanya ekspansi pasar melalui pembukaan toko online. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan teknik Participatoty Action Research (PAR) dengan bentuk seminar, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah meningkatnya pemahaman anggota UMKM Lentera terhadap manfaat, resiko penggunaan toko online, serta keberhasilan para anggota UMKM Lentera untuk membuka toko online sebesar 64,28% dari jumlah peserta keseluruhuan. Toko online yang dimiliki perserta lengkap dengan foto produk dan harga yang siap bersaing. Sebagai bentuk refleksi perlua danya pendampingan dan kegiatan secara berlanjut untuk meningkatkan pemasaran dari berbagai aspek. MSME entrepreneurs are an important group that drives the micro-economy into society. The Lentera MSME Association, which is located on Mranggen Demak, eastern of the edge of Semarang city, also needs attention to improve management capabilities and income. This can be seen from the widespread opening of minimarkets which are growing in many populated areas. The problems currently faced are the limited marketing area and the amount of income which is currently stagnant and tends to decrease. The solution offered to the problem is market expansion through opening an online shop. The implementation of this activity uses Participatory Action Research (PAR) techniques in the form of seminars, training and mentoring. The results obtained were an increase in the understanding of MSME Lentera members regarding the benefits, risks of using online shops, as well as the success of MSME Lentera members in opening online shops amounting to 64.28% of the total number of participants. The online shop owned by participants is complete with product photos and prices that are ready to compete. As a form of reflection on the need for ongoing assistance and activities to improve marketing in various aspects.

Abstract

JNT Ekspress is one of the many freight forwarding companies that exist today, where JNT has very wide access so it is very easy to use for the public in shipping goods. With the current network, JNT is able to deliver goods to all provinces in Indonesia. With the large number of users, of course there will be a lot of user opinions that appear, both positive and negative opinions. In order to be able to categorize multiple opinions, a machine learning program is needed that can simplify the process of grouping the opinion. There are many algorithms that can be used to classify opinions, one of them is Decision Tree. Prior to grouping or classification, Tweet data that has been collected needs to be preprocessed first so that the tweet data can be recognized by the system. Based on this research, the Decision Tree algorithm gets an accuracy of 94.12% with a comparison ratio of training data and testing data of 90:10

Abstract

Vigenere merupakan algoritma enkripsi berbasis teks yang sederhana. Dalam kriptografi, vigenere telah mengalami banyak modifikasi untuk memperkuat kerahasiaan informasi dari pihak yang tidak berhak. Faktor penting yang mempengaruhi ialah penggunaan kunci. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat ketahanan informasi yang diamankan vigenere melalui proses penerbitan kunci. Eksperimen ini mengusulkan penggunaan Teknik penerbitan kunci secara berlapis. Fungsi random, penggunaan bilangan euler dan metode penerbitan kunci Blum Blum Shub dieksperimenkan pada model enkripsi “extended Vigenere”. Sebagai metrik performasi digunakan perhitungan nilai entropi. Eksperimen ini mendapatkan hasil berupa penggunaan penerbitan kunci secara berlapis pada model enkripsi “extended Vigenere” meningkatkan nilai entropi informasi rahasia yang berimbas pada peningkatan ketahanan informasi dari serangan kriptanalis.

Abstract

A recommendation system is a system that can provide recommendations on a particular object that can be used to assist system users in making a decision. This study iams to implement a recommendation system using the collaborative filtering method in e-commerce for the pet shop selling system. With e-commerce, customers can make purchases on-line without having to come to the costs. With the recommendation system provided, customers will get recommendations for the product to be purchased as a consideration in determining product choices. The collaborative filtering method carries out the process of filtering or evaluating objects based on oter people’s opinions, by providing information to consumers, based on similar characteristics

Abstract

Badminton is one of the most popular sports in the world, with Indonesia having achieved great success in international competitions. The high level of public interest in this sport requires the availability of adequate court facilities. However, the comfort of badminton court facilities still varies, so a decision support system is needed to help select the optimal court. This study develops a decision support system based on the integration of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. SAW is used for criterion weighting, while AHP is applied in the ranking stage of alternatives. This combination of methods was chosen due to its ability to process qualitative data from player and athlete evaluations, as well as quantitative court data, while addressing complex issues through hierarchy-based prioritisation. The results of the study indicate that the system is capable of consistently weighting criteria (CR < 0.1). This study also produced a ranking of badminton courts in North Brebes based on seven criteria (price, floor type, lighting, bathrooms, scoreboards, cooperatives, and parking lots) and identified priority facilities. Court 33 in Brebes was selected as the best alternative with a preference value of 0.7485.

Abstract

This community service project addresses the issue of teaching Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Semarang Regency, which is still dominated by linear methods and lacks visualization, hindering students' comprehension of complex ICT concepts. The goal is to enhance educators' ability to design visual-based teaching modules supported by Dual Coding Theory and Constructivism. The solution provided was an intensive workshop and collaborative mentoring on both manual and digital mind mapping techniques. The results showed a significant increase in educators' cognitive competency, indicated by the average score rising from 55.4% on the pre-test to 88.2% on the post-test. Participants successfully designed digital mind map-based ICT modules with an average product quality score of 88.9%. This success proves the effectiveness of mind mapping as a pedagogical tool for transforming ICT learning into a more active, visual, and structured experience.

Abstract

Pertukaran informasi melalui ruang publik masih menyisakan kerentanan keamanan, sehingga perlu mekanisme pengamanan melalui proses kriptografi. Salah satu model kriptografi yang dapat bertahan hingga lebih dari 300 tahun adalah Vigenere Cipher, sebelum dipecahkan oleh Kasiski dan Friedman. Artikel ini membahas tentang perkembangan dan evlolusi Vigenere Cipher. Hingga saat ini, penggunaan Vigenere Cipher masih dapat diaplikasikan untuk mengamankan petukaran informasi dan transaksi komunikasi. Dalam perkembangannya, bentuk evolusi pada Vigenere terfokus pada tiga bagian, pengembangan dengan metode hibrid, pengembangan pada proses penerbitan kunci yang digunakan dan pengembangan pada jumlah karakter set yang digunakan pada Vigenere. Dengan pengembangan pada ketiga fokus tersebut, maka Vigenere Cipher mampu menyuguhkan tingkat keamanan yang lebih baik pada informasi yang disandikannya. Keuntungan lain adalah Vigenere Cipher dengan pengembangan ini dapat diaplikasikan dan diterima untuk pengamanan dan pertukaran infomasi pada bidang yang lebih luas
