Abstract

Based on calculations by the Directorate General of Food Plants (Ditjen TP), Ministry of Agriculture. Corn production in the last 5 years has increased by an average of 12.49% per year. According to the Secretary of the Directorate General of Food Crops of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) Maman Suherman in 2019 maize production is estimated to reach 33 million tonnes of dry shell (PK) in an interview with Republika on January 6, 2019. Cepiring sub-district, Kendal district, apart from being planted with rice in the rainy season, rice fields also planted with maize. After harvesting, the corn that has been plucked is separated from the cob using a corn sheller. The shelling machine is used using diesel fuel and electricity, with workers standing for long periods of time, causing fatigue in the arms, waist, thighs and back. The data processing of the nordic body map questionnaire was carried out to determine the complaints on the skeleton and muscles of the workers. From the results of the questionnaire above, most Sido Rejo farmers feel complaints on their right shoulder, left upper arm, back, right upper arm, back, waist, left elbow, right elbow, left forearm, right forearm, left wrist, wrist right, left hand, right hand, left thigh, right thigh, left calf, right calf, left leg to right leg. With anthropometric measurements, the dimensions of the body used are the height of the sitting shoulders and the data used are the average data or the 50th percentile. With this solar sheller, it can save fuel and be environmentally friendly and reduce the complaints of the frame and muscles of farmers

Abstract

CV ABC is one of the manufacturing industries in Central Java that produces furniture products. The resulting products have good quality so that 60-70 percent of their products are exported while the rest are marketed domestically. The current production process, the application of occupational safety and health have not been fully implemented. From company data for three years, the number of work accidents is 9, 8, and 10 times. The number of hours lost was 154 hours, 168 hours, and 224 hours. Efforts are needed to prevent work accidents that can reduce work productivity. Based on the existing problems, the company needs to identify the causes of work accidents with a fault tree analysis method approach. The factors that cause work accidents can be identified, namely the work area, production process and storage and transfer. This work accident will cause worker productivity to decrease. In 2016 the productivity value was 0.99925, in 2017 the productivity level was 0.99929. In 2017 there was an increase in productivity due to the reduced number of lost hours. In 2018 there was a decrease in the productivity level to 0.99910 due to the increase in the number of lost hours of employees becoming more. The results of the "t" test measurement showed a decrease in the frequency level in 2017 and an increase in the frequency level in 2018. Severity measurements decreased in 2017 and increased in 2018. The safe t value in 2017 has increased. In 2018 there was a decline, so productivity in 2018 decreased. From the relationship between work safety and productivity, it is clear that work accidents cause productivity to decline. In 2016 the productivity value was 0.99925, in 2017 the productivity level was 0.99929.

Abstract

Companies that can meet the needs and desires of their consumers will usually be much more competitive compared to others, especially companies that can exceed the needs and desires of these consumers (Besterfield, 1999: 89). Rumah Soap is one of the UMKM that produces various kinds of liquid soap, including dishwash (dishwashing soap), liquid detergent, hand soap, shampoo, body foam, etc. The problem to be discussed in this research is how to design the needs and technical characteristics of consumers on liquid soap products. The objectives to be achieved are to identify the needs and technical characteristics of liquid soap products based on the HOQ, as well as to design liquid soap products that meet the needs of the community. The house of quality or also known as the House of Quality (HOQ) is the first stage in the application of the QFD methodology. The stages in the HOQ begin with identifying consumer needs and wants by determining Voice Of Customer (VOC), making a planning matrix, determining the level of customers in the competition, determining technical description (Voice Of Engineer), making a technical response matrix, determining the relationship between the attributes of needs and characteristics. technical (Inter Relation matrix), create a technical correlation matrix (draw a map of the interdependence and interrelationships between technical characters, company/organizational difficulties, technical benchmarks, create a target matrix. Consumers want 12 variables of need for laundry detergent which are dominated by needs in the category of product design and quality product characteristics. The QFD design shows detergent products, with the characteristic of "change in raw materials" as a priority technical characteristic that can improve the quality of laundry detergent with a Relative Importance Level (TKR) of 31.827%. To improve the quality of laundry detergent products, Rumah Soap UMKM should pay attention to the following proposals to produce laundry detergent.
