Abstract

Being a coach in a boarding school student has its own challenges. There are many tasks and roles as a coach as well as final year students, making coaches vulnerable to stress. Individuals who experience stress tend to experience disorders in physical, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functions. This study aims to reduce the stress level of coaches through Al-Ghazali’s gratitude training. Subjects in this study were women of early adulthood (18-40 years), were coaches of boarding schools for female students, had moderate or high stress levels, and were willing to take part in Al-Ghazali's gratitude training. This study used the quasi-experimental method with two group pre-test post-test design. The control and experimental groups each consisted of 15 coaches. Measurement of stress levels using the Perceive Stress Scale (PSS-10). Analysis of the data used is a comparative test using the independent t test to find out the differences in the average value between one group and the other groups. The results of this study indicated that Al-Ghazali’s gratitude training can reduce stress levels in female boarding school coaches, reinforced by the results of observations and interviews. Research showed that Al-Ghazali's gratitude training can change the subject's perception of problems in his life. Subjects begin to see what is happening to them both pleasant and unpleasant is God's will and by using a perspective of gratitude. Keywords : gratitude, stress, coaches of boarding school for college students Abstrak Menjadi seorang pembina asrama di pesantren mahasiswa memiliki tantangan tersendiri. Ada banyak tugas dan peran sebagai pembina asrama sekaligus mahasiswa menjadikan pembina asrama rentan mengalami stres. Individu yang mengalami stres cenderung mengalami gangguan dalam fungsi fisik, emosi, kognitif, dan tingkah laku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan tingkat stres pembina asrama melalui pelatihan syukur Al-Ghazali. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah wanita usia dewasa awal (18-40 tahun), merupakan pembina asrama pesantren mahasiswi, memiliki tingkat stres sedang atau tinggi, dan bersedia mengikuti pelatihan syukur Al-Ghazali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan two group pre-test post-test design. Kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen masing-masing terdiri dari 15 orang pembina asrama. Pengukuran tingkat stres menggunakan Perceive Stress Scale (PSS-10). Analisa data yang digunakan adalah uji komparatif dengan menggunakan uji paired sample t-test untuk mengetahui perbedaan nilai rata-rata antara satu kelompok dengan kelompok lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan syukur Al-Ghazali dapat menurunkan tingkat stres pada pembina asrama pesantren mahasiswi, dimana hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai t = 5,326 dan sig. = 0,000 (p<0,005), diperkuat dengan hasil observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan syukur Al-Ghazali dapat mengubah persepsi subjek terhadap permasalahan dalam hidupnya. Subjek mulai melihat apa yang sedang terjadi pada diri mereka baik itu menyenangkan dan tidak menyenangkan adalah atas kehendak Allah dan dengan menggunakan perspektif kebersyukuran. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has prompted the government to implement various policies, including online learning policies in the education field. Although it has some advantages, online learning also has a negative impact, especially on the student’s psychological condition. The findings showed that students experienced a lot of depression during online learning in pandemic times. Students can experience depression due to prolonged psychosomatic disorders that are not treated immediately. The study was conducted with the aim of lowering students’ levels of depression during online learning through psychological mentoring. The mentoring model used is the service-learning model with one group pre-post test measurement design. The mentoring group consisted of 30 students. Measurement of depression levels is done with the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS). The results showed a difference between the students’ depression levels before and after mentoring (F=6,073; p less than 0.05). The result of this mentoring is students can lower their depression levels due to online learning through psychological mentoring.Abstrak. Pandemi Covid-19 mendorong pemerintah untuk menerapkan berbagai kebijakan, termasuk kebijakan pembelajaran daring dalam bidang pendidikan. Meskipun memiliki beberapa kelebihan, pembelajaran daring juga memiliki dampak negatif terutama pada kondisi psikologis siswa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa banyak mengalami depresi selama pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi. Siswa dapat mengalami depresi karena adanya gangguan-gangguan psikosomatis berkepanjangan yang tidak segera ditangani. Pendampingan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menurunkan tingkat depresi siswa selama pembelajaran daring melalui pendampingan psikologis. Model pendampingan yang digunakan adalah service learning dengan desain pengukuran one group pre-post test. Kelompok pendampingan terdiri dari 30 siswa SMK. Pengukuran tingkat depresi dilakukan dengan Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS) subtes Depresi. Hasil menunjukkan perbedaan tingkat depresi siswa sebelum dan sesudah pendampingan (F=6,073; p kurang dari 0.05). Hasil dari pendampingan ini adalah siswa dapat menurunkan tingkat depresi akibat pembelajaran daring melalui pendampingan psikologis.

Abstract

Potensi penerimaan dana zakat di Indonesia cukup besar. Pada tahun 2019, Baznas Provinsi Papua memperkirakan penerimaan dana zakat mencapai 2,19 Miliar. Tentu saja ini merupakan angka yang cukup fantastis apabila digunakan untuk membantu kesejahteraan umat. Namun hal ini berbandimg terbalik dengan keadaan di Nimbokrang, Jayapura. Banyak para petani dan pelaku UMKM yang masih berada di taraf ekonomi rendah. Hal inilah yang menjadi pekerjaan rumah bagi pihak Baznas Jayapura. Tim KKN bergerak dengan memberikan pemahaman dan konsep sebagai usaha untuk memaksimalkan potensi dana zakat. Metode pelaksanaan ini meliputi kerjasama, sosialisasi, kunjungan, aplikasi dan website, serta program beasiswa. Hasilnya adalah adanya dukungan dari pihak Baznas Jayapuira terhadap konsep yang dicanangkan tim KKN; keberhasilan sosialisasi ZIS Waf; peluncuran aplikasi Sukaderma; serta pemberian beasiswa sebagai bentuk kerjasama antara Baznas Jayapura dan tim KKN.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is geologically located at the confluence of three tectonic plates of the world, has more than 128 active volcanoes, and around 150 rivers. This results in Indonesia being prone to experiencing disasters. The village Kiluan Negeri in Tanggamus (Lampung) is among the areas known for its high disaster risk in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the impact of campaign and education on disaster preparedness on students’ knowledge in dealing with the tsunami disaster in Kiluan Negeri. This research employs a quasi-experimental method, with one group pre-test and post-test design. The research involved subjects from the group of 35 students from junior high school in Kiluan Negeri, SATAP VII-IX SMP. The respondents were recruted through quota sampling, in which all junior high school students present were selected as research subjects. For this research, disaster preparedness training/socialization was carried out three times. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed in this study was confirmed, as it is found that there is a significant impact of the training/socialization of disaster preparedness to the knowledge and awareness among students of Kiluan Negeri (0,000 <0.005). This can be seen from the data that the average of awareness/ knowledge before the socialization was only 37.5 and increased to the level of 42.1 after the process. In addition, based on subject categorization, prior to being given disaster preparedness socialization, students who had a high level of knowledge were only 77.2%, then after being given a disaster preparedness socialization, it increased to 92%. It can be concluded, therefore, that students who have high knowledge after the disaster preparedness socialization is 92%.[Indonesia adalah negara yang secara geologis terletak pada pertemuan tiga lempeng tektonik dunia, memiliki lebih dari 128 gunung berapi aktif, dan sekitar 150 sungai. Hal ini membuat Indonesia rawan mengalami bencana. Desa Kiluan Negeri di Tanggamus (Lampung) adalah salah satu daerah yang dikenal memiliki risiko bencana tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pelatihan dan pendidikan pada pengetahuan siswa mengenai kesiapsiagaan bencana untuk menangani bencana tsunami di Kiluan Negeri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain satu kelompok pre-test dan post-test. Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 kelompok  siswa dari SMP di Kiluan Negeri, SATAP VII-IX SMP. Hasil dari responden diolah melalui kuota sampling, di mana semua siswa SMP yang hadir dipilih sebagai subjek penelitian. Untuk penelitian ini, pelatihan/sosialisasi kesiapsiagaan bencana dilakukan tiga kali. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dikonfirmasi, karena ditemukan bahwa ada dampak yang signifikan dari pelatihan/sosialisasi kesiapsiagaan bencana terhadap pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa Kiluan Negeri (0,000 <0,005). Ini dapat dilihat dari data bahwa rata-rata kesadaran/pengetahuan sebelum sosialisasi hanya 37,5 dan meningkat ke level 42,1 setelah proses. Selain itu, berdasarkan kategorisasi subjek, sebelum diberikan sosialisasi kesiapsiagaan bencana, tingkat pengetahuan siswa memiliki prosentase hanya 77,2%, kemudian setelah diberikan sosialisasi kesiapsiagaan bencana, meningkat menjadi 92%. Dapat disimpulkan, bahwa siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan tinggi setelah sosialisasi kesiapan bencana adalah 92%.]

Abstract

This study aimed to reduce depression and increase immunity through training of reading of the reflective intuitive Al-Fatihah. Researchers used an experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. Each experimental group and control group consisted of 10 students of Islamic Boarding School. To measure stress degree, Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) was used. Immunity was measured with microscopic slide method using hematology analyzer. Abstract

The present study examined the effect of reciting Holy Qur’an toward short-term memory ability appearance from the change of the brain wave. Subjects of this study were four female students (n=4) from Gadjah Mada University with homogeneity of genders, age, thefrequencies of reciting Holy Qur’an, menstruation’s phase, timbre and ethnic groups. Subjects were divided randomly into two groups, i.e. experiment and control group. Each group wasrecorded with electroencephalograph (EEG) on their brain wave. The process of recording used monopolar method with placement of electrode 10-20 and the researcher give a free recall test.Either recording or free recall test is carried out twice, before and after execution and placebo. T-test result in experiment group from free recall test found significant are differences (t=-15,00; p<0.05) between before and after reciting the Holy Qur’an. T-test result in control group found that significantly not differences (t=-11,00; p>0,05) between before and afterplacebo effect. Hypotheses accepted i.e. there is significantly increasing in experiment group, before and after the execution. After the execution brain wave increased significantly in pointFp1, point Fp2 and point P4. In point Fp1,  ,  , and  significantly increased. In point Fp2, all of the wave significantly increased. In point P4, the wave increased were  ,  , and δ. Itmeans that when reciting Holy Qur’an, showed there is increased activity like thinking, emotionally and religion-related-activity or God.

Abstract

One of the developmental tasks a child should complete is to concentrate.  However, some children failed to concentrate, causing difficulty in processing the stimulus thoroughly. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of deep breathing techniques in improving children’s concentration. Applying the pretest-posttest control group quasi-experimental method, this study involved sixteen students who were assigned into experimental (n=9) and control (n=7) groups.     Participants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using digit span and analyzed using Mann-Whitney U. The study result showed that the deep breathing technique was effective in improving children’s concentration.   Thus, school counselors are recommended to optimize deep breathing techniques to improve their concentration.

Abstract

Al-Fatihah is one of the surahs in the Al-Qur'an that must be memorized by all Muslims. The role of Al-Qur'an, especially Surah Al-Fatihah as a non-pharmacological therapy has begun and widely studied because of the benefits, not only for physical but also psychological health. This study aim to examine the effect of Al-Fatihah reflective intuitive reading training to Post-trauma anxiety level of Lombok’s earthquake victims in 2018. The study using an experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. Each group consist of 12 adult woman. Post-trauma anxiety level was measured using anxiety sub-test from Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42 (DASS). The result of Wilcoxon statistical test aim to examine the difference level of anxiety before and after treatment from one group. The result of Wilcoxon analysis showed that Al Fatihah reflective-intuitive reading training could reduce anxiety level significantly after training in experimental group (p = 0.002; p<0.05). Furthermore, Man-Whitney U analysis showed that the difference of anxiety level between control and experiment group (p= 0.001; p<0.05). This study showed that Al Fatihah reflective-intuitive reading training decrease anxiety level of Lombok’s earthquake victims.

Abstract

Handling corruption cases is not always consistent in emphasizing the element of intention/intentionally. Theoretically, the concept of deliberation has been put forward by some experts. However, in the realm of implementation the theoretical studies of those experts become contradictory. This is because there is no certainty of indicators of intent. Deliberation in this research is viewed from criminal law and psychology. The method used in this research is Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Then also is performed professional judgment by legal practitioners and academics. The results show that law enforcers have a common perception in viewing the deliberate in cases of corruption. Law enforcers in understanding the Articles use the theory of science and the theory of Possibility in Certainty. It is deliberate behavior when viewed from psychology produces a construct that can be measured using the science theory.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara khusus meneliti pengaruh mendengarkan musik karawitan terhadap kinerja memori jangka pendek siswa UIN Bandung. Berdasarkan fenomena sehari-hari ada siswa yang belajar dengan mendengarkan musik dan ada yang tidak. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dari berbagai fakultas UIN Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung yang diambil dari berbagai semester. Dalam penelitian ini sampel diambil dengan teknik pengambilan sampel acak, sampel diambil secara acak untuk mewakili populasi di mana sampel diambil. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelompok kontrol pretest-pottest. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mendengarkan musik karawitan, mampu meningkatkan kinerja memori jangka pendek.Kata kunci : memori jangka pendek, musik karawitan
