Abstract

Promiscuity among teenagers is an increasingly worrying issue, especially in high school environments. This service aims to provide education and outreach regarding the dangers of promiscuity to students at SMA Negeri 3 Panyabungan. This activity was carried out through a seminar involving 30 students as representatives from each class and teachers. This seminar presented speakers from STAIN Madina lecturers who discussed the negative impacts of promiscuity and solutions to prevent it. The results of this seminar show an increase in students' understanding of the dangers of promiscuity and their awareness of the importance of maintaining healthy relationships. Therefore, collaboration is needed between schools, teachers and parents in providing guidance to students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and strategies of introducing mathematical proofs appropriately for students, as well as to describe their contribution to enhancing logical, critical thinking, and understanding of mathematical concepts. The method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach through the analysis of various current scientific literature relevant to mathematics learning and education. The results of the study indicate that mathematical proofs not only function as a tool for verifying the truth of a statement but also as an epistemological process that develops deductive, argumentative, and reflective reasoning skills in understanding the structure and relationships of mathematical logic. Effective introduction strategies include the use of visual representations, collaborative learning, linguistic scaffolding, and the application of a gradual approach from informal argumentation to formal deduction. The approach has been proven to enhance students conceptual understanding, argumentative skills, and logical awareness. The implication is that proofs need to be systematically integrated into mathematics learning in secondary schools to strengthen Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and develop a scientific mindset in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

Elderly is a process of human growth and development does not occur suddenly, namely developing from infants to become elderly. Everyone's physique and behavior changes when they reach a certain age is normal. Elderly is the end of the aging process that has reached the age of 60 and over. As we get older, organ function decreases with age, which has an impact on the ability of the elderly to carry out Activity of Daily Living (ADL). This study will be held on October 22, 2023 at the KH Ahmad Dahlan Mosque Jl. S.Parman, North Belitung, West Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of independence of the elderly using the Barthel Index measurement tool through the Question and Answer method. According to the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the level of independence of the elderly in the independent category is at a good health level in accordance with the results of the study conducted on the elderly congregation of the KH. Ahmad Dahlan Mosque. The results of this service are also expected by all participants to maintain the quality of the ADL that they have done.

Abstract

The family is the smallest social unit in society that plays an important role in individual development. Harmonius relationships within the family are the main foundation for creating individuals who are physically, emotionally, and psychologically healthy. Family Psychodynamics is an approach to family counseling that is rooted in psychoanalytic theory. This approach focuses on unconscious emotional patterns in relationships between family members, as well as the influence of childhood experiences on current family dynamics. Behavioral Social Family Counseling is an approach to family counseling that combines psychodynamic principles with social behavioral theory. This approach focuses on how social interactions and behaviors observed within the family affect the dynamics of relationships between family members.The Structural Family Approach is a counseling model that emphasizes family structure, including roles, hierarchies, and patterns of relationships between family members. This approach was developed by Salvador Minuchin, who believed that families have a structure that influences interactions between family members.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh integritas dan etika pegawai terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik di Dinas Pariwisata Kota Palembang. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya peran aparatur pemerintah dalam memberikan pelayanan yang profesional, transparan, dan akuntabel kepada masyarakat, khususnya di sektor pariwisata yang berhadapan langsung dengan kepentingan publik. Integritas dan etika pegawai menjadi faktor utama dalam menentukan baik atau buruknya kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan, serta berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada pegawai Dinas Pariwisata Kota Palembang dan pelaku usaha pariwisata di kawasan pinggiran Sungai Musi. Pemilihan informan dilakukan secara purposive sampling untuk memperoleh data yang relevan dengan fokus penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan integritas dan etika pegawai yang baik mampu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik melalui pelayanan yang lebih transparan, responsif, dan bertanggung jawab. Selain itu, integritas dan etika pegawai juga berperan penting dalam membangun kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap instansi pemerintah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dan masukan bagi Dinas Pariwisata Kota Palembang dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik secara berkelanjutan.
