Abstract

The ability to read the Koran well, correctly (tajwid) and beautifully (qiro'ah) is very important for every Muslim. This research was carried out by involving KKN students who collaborated with this institution to organize interactive and interesting learning programs. The method used is Participation Action Research (PAR). The research results show that this activity not only improves Al-Qur'an reading skills, but also builds children's interest and motivation to learn. In addition, this program has succeeded in involving parents and the community in supporting children's religious education, creating a positive learning environment. Thus, the role of KKN students has proven to be significant in the development of religious education in the community and a significant increase in certain aspects, such as recitation, recitation and interest in reading the Al-Qur'an. This research recommends increasing collaboration between educational institutions and the community for the sustainability of Al-Qur'an-based education programs in the future.

Abstract

The participatory oversight program includes the establishment of oversight villages in Central Kalimantan to involve the community in overseeing the Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in 2024.The urgency of establishing oversight villages for community participatory oversight is to increase participation, strengthen the oversight function of Bawaslu, prevent violations, and enhance transparency and accountability. The challenges in the implementation of oversight villages include limited human resources, lack of public understanding, geographical and infrastructural challenges, budget constraints, as well as practical politics and local interests.Strategic steps to address these challenges include stakeholder collaboration, intensification of training, infrastructure improvement, and the utilization of technology.Through oversight villages, the community is expected to actively participate in monitoring the regional elections to achieve clean, transparent, and accountable elections.

Abstract

Electric Steam Power Plant (ESPP) in Teluk Sirih located on the seafront will certainly have an impact on changes in environmental factors such as physical, chemical and biological, one of which will be affected is phytoplankton. The research objective was to study the community structure of phytoplankton in the waters affected by the hot water of the ESPP of Teluk Sirih which was carried out in August 2023 with four sample stations namely Outfall, Inlet, Jetty and the middle of the sea as controls. The results of the study showed that the community structure of phytoplankton in the waters around the PLTU of Teluk Sirih was not significantly affected by hot water. This is illustrated by the diversity results which are classified as well H' ranging from 1.710-2.156. Evenest Index (E) 0.562-0.761 and Dominance Index (C) 0.188-0.295. The E and C values show that the phytoplankton are evenly distributed and no species dominates the ESPP of Teluk Sirih. The physics and chemistry of water are all above the quality standards of Ministry of Environment No. 51. 2004 as temperature ranges from 29-320C, pH 7-8, brightness >3m, Salinity 31,4-32,2 mg/L. Dissolved oxygen 5 mg/L, Carbon dioxide 48-62 mg/L, BOD5 4-5 mg/L, Nitrates 0.02-0.031 mg/L and orthophosphate 0.014-0.018.Keywords: Hot water, Phytoplankton, ESPP of Teluk Sirih, Community Structure and Physical Chemical Factors
