Abstract

Abstract This study investigates the influence of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Organizational Justice on Institutional Integrity within the Indonesian National Police, with Psychological Safety acting as a mediating variable. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 100 police personnel from various units, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).The results show that SHRM and Organizational Justice significantly enhance both Psychological Safety and Institutional Integrity. Specifically, SHRM had a stronger direct impact on Psychological Safety (β = 0.585) and Institutional Integrity (β = 0.333) compared to Organizational Justice (β = 0.464 and β = 0.233, respectively). Psychological Safety also showed a significant positive effect on Institutional Integrity (β = 0.410), confirming its role as a mediating mechanism. Theoretically, this study contributes to public sector ethics by integrating psychological safety into models of institutional integrity. Practically, it highlights the importance of value-based HR strategies and justice-driven managerial practices in fostering ethical resilience in hierarchical public organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to map and analyze scientific literature related to the concept of teacher performance using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. A total of 25 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2024 were analyzed to identify key themes, theoretical foundations, and practical implications. The results indicate that teacher performance is influenced by a combination of internal factors (such as self-efficacy, stress, and job satisfaction) and external factors (such as principal leadership, organizational climate, and digital transformation). The five key themes identified include: (1) self-efficacy and psychological factors, (2) school leadership and management, (3) job satisfaction and organizational climate, (4) work stress and burnout, and (5) digitalization and adaptation to technology. This synthesis also presents a conceptual model and theoretical-practical implications, which can serve as a basis for developing integrated teacher performance evaluation strategies in the post-pandemic era.

Abstract

The research aimed at learning motivation, interest in learning and self-confidence as having a significant influence on student learning outcomes, moderated by the cognitive abilities of South Kalimantan Police SPN Non-Commissioned Officer students. This research is survey research. The population of this study was 167 students who graduated from National Police Non-Commissioned Officers Batch 1 of 2023 from SPN Polda South Kalimantan. The sample in the study was taken as much as 25% of the population, so that a sample of 41.74 was rounded up to 42 people. Data analysis in research uses SMART PLS. The results of the research show that Learning Motivation, Interest in Learning and Self-Confidence have a significant influence on the Learning Outcomes of National Police Non-Commissioned Officer students at SPN Polda South Kalimantan. Apart from that, the research also found that Learning Motivation, Interest in Learning and Self-Confidence have a significant influence on Learning Outcomes, moderated by the Cognitive Ability of South Kalimantan Police SPN Non-Commissioned Officer students.

Abstract

Excellent employee performance is a requirement in the assessment of ASN work results. Competence and knowledge are one aspect of the assessment. Thus, it is important for agencies to continue to develop the abilities and knowledge of their employees. With strong motivation in performing superiorly, individuals are required to continue to develop themselves and share their knowledge. The research conducted is a quantitative descriptive study. All ASN working in the Tanah Laut Regency Regional Secretariat Office, totaling 108 people, were the samples in this study. This study uses sampling with census sampling techniques and uses the PLS-SEM analysis tool. From the results obtained, this study concludes that (1) competence has a significant positive effect on motivation in Civil Servants in the Tanah Laut Regency Regional Secretariat Office; (2) knowledge sharing has a significant positive effect on motivation in Civil Servants in the Tanah Laut Regency Regional Secretariat Office; (3) competence has a significant positive effect on the performance of Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat Office of Tanah Laut Regency; (4) knowledge sharing does not have a significant positive effect on the performance of Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat Office of Tanah Laut Regency; (5) motivation has a significant positive effect on the performance of Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat Office of Tanah Laut Regency; (6) motivation can mediate competence on the performance of Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat Office of Tanah Laut Regency; (7) motivation can mediate knowledge sharing on the performance of Civil Servants at the Regional Secretariat Office of Tanah Laut Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural pada anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran tematik di RA Az-Zakiyatu Shalehah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan pendekatan deskriptif Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari pendidik, orang tua, dan siswa di RA Az-Zakiyatu Shalehah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran tematik di RA Az-Zakiyatu Shalehah secara efektif mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural ke dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sehari-hari. Pendidik menggunakan berbagai metode dan media pembelajaran yang i interaktif, sehingga anak-anak dapat mengenal dan menghargai keberagaman budaya sejak dini. Selain itu, dukungan dan partisipasi aktif sekolah dengan orang tua juga berperan penting dalam memperkuat pemahaman dan penerimaan anak terhadap nilai-nilai multikultural. Kesimpulannya, internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural melalui pembelajaran tematik di RA Az-Zakiyatu Shalebah memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan sikap toleransi dan menghargai perbedaan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pendidik dan institusi pendidikan dalam merancang dan menerapkan program pembelajaran yang mendukung pengembangan nilai-nilai multikultural pada anak-anak.

Abstract

Taxes are the largest source of revenue for the Indonesian state. Taxes also have a large contribution to the development of all regions in Indonesia. Taxes in Indonesia consist of central taxes and regional taxes. South Kalimantan Province which consists of 13 districts/cities. South Kalimantan Province is one of the areas with wetland topography in Indonesia. One of the areas with the largest peatlands according to data from the Central Statistics Agency is Tapin Regency and the majority of the population is Muslim, so religious nuances are always visible. The potential for regional tax revenue in Tapin Regency, which is one of the areas with wetland topography and a religious population, makes this research interesting because based on the results of existing research, it still shows research gaps so that research related to the effectiveness of regional tax revenue in wetland areas is pattern-based. religious thought becomes important. This research includes quantitative research. The data used is primary data from respondents as informants with a sample size of 200 respondents. The data analysis technique uses partial least squares to analyze the influence of religiosity on taxpayer compliance and the effectiveness of local tax revenues. The research results show that religiosity has a significant effect on taxpayer compliance and the effectiveness of tax revenue. Taxpayer compliance also has a significant effect on the effectiveness of tax revenue in the Tapin district area.

Abstract

Career-level training like SESPIM is critical for leadership development in police forces but creates a unique "hybrid work" challenge. For a full semester, officers are physically and mentally detached from their home units ("remote"), creating a performance vacuum in their absence. This study investigates how police organizations manage this inevitable disruption. Existing literature on police training focuses on individual learning outcomes, neglecting the systemic impact on the sending units and the organizational mechanisms that sustain performance during this period. This conceptual paper employs an integrative review, applying a multi-level organizational behavior lens to the specific context of police professional development. We propose that macro-level HR policies (e.g., interim position management, performance accountability protocols) set the stage. However, their effectiveness hinges on the meso-level sensemaking of both the training officer (maintaining virtual influence) and the acting commander at headquarters. This leadership dynamic directly impacts the micro-level resilience processes (shared leadership, procedural adaptation, maintained morale) of the remaining (left-behind) unit, determining its ability to sustain operational performance. The article provides a novel framework for understanding human resource management in law enforcement, offering strategic insights for police leadership on how to strategically plan for and mitigate the performance risks associated with essential long-term training.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged local governments to reform public service delivery in order to become more effective, transparent, and responsive to community needs. Pandeglang Regency, as a region that is gradually implementing digital-based public service innovations, faces both challenges and opportunities in this transformation process. This study aims to analyze the role of local government in improving public services through digital innovation in Pandeglang Regency by examining the forms of innovation implemented, the implementation process, and the perceived impacts on the community. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the local government plays a crucial role in promoting digital innovation through policy formulation, institutional coordination, and the provision of supporting resources. The implementation of digital innovation has contributed to improved service efficiency, increased access to information, and enhanced service transparency. However, the effectiveness of these innovations remains uneven due to limitations in human resource capacity and varying levels of digital literacy among citizens. The implications of this study suggest that successful digital innovation in public services requires sustained commitment from local governments, continuous capacity building for public officials, and inclusive service strategies to ensure that the benefits of digital transformation are equitably experienced across different segments of society.

Abstract

Antioxidants are compounds that can neutralize free radicals, which can damage normal cells, fats, and proteins. Various methods, such as DPPH, ABTS, and FRAP, are used to evaluate the capacity of antioxidant compounds against reactive oxygen species (ROS). Skin ageing, caused by free radicals, pollution, and ultraviolet rays, can be mitigated by using antioxidants, one of which is found in cosmetic preparations such as moisturizers. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of various plant extracts in the formulation of a moisturizer gel. The method used is a literature review, with sources from the Google Scholar and PubMed databases, which includes articles from 2014 to 2024, resulting in 9 eligible articles out of 20 screened. The review result showed that plants such as star fruit leaf extract (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) and green tea leaf (Camellia sinensis) have potent antioxidant activity. Starfruit Wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) extracted with 70% ethanol had an IC50 value of 24.78 ppm, while green tea leaf extract (Camellia sinensis) with 70% ethanol showed an IC50 value of 5.62 ppm in the gel moisturizer preparation. A high IC50 indicates that the compound contains antioxidants that can protect the skin from free radicals, which are formulated into a moisturizing gel. In conclusion, star fruit leaf extract (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) and green tea leaf extract (Camellia sinensis) are highly effective ingredients in moisturiser gel products, as they provide significant antioxidant protection to the ski
