Abstract

The purpose of this research is to be able to improve students' learning outcomes through a cooperative learning model of rotating trio exchange type assisted by mind mapping. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a quantitative approach with a research design of nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the cooperative learning model type rotating trio exchange assisted by mind mapping had an effect in improving students' learning outcomes and was more effective than the conventional learning model. This is based on the results of the independent sample t-test and descriptive analysis which shows that the increase in experimental learning outcomes using the cooperative learning model type rotating trio exchange assisted by mind mapping is higher than the control class using the conventional learning model.

Abstract

The problems related to the research are based on the low entrepreneurial intention among students as seen based on the tracer study of alumni of SMK Yapsipa Tasikmalaya which shows a very low entrepreneurial rate. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of entrepreneurial literacy and intellectual agility on students' entrepreneurial intentions, where the focus of the research is directed at students in grades X and XI of SMK Yapsipa Tasikmalaya who are expected to have the potential to become young entrepreneurs. The research method used is quantitative with an explanatory survei and data collection techniques using questionnaires via Google forms and documentation. The research population was students in grades X and XI at SMK Yapsipa Tasikmalaya in the 2024/2025 academic year totaling 71 students. The sample used was a saturated sample taken from the entire population, consisting of 32 students in grades X PM and X MPLB, and 39 students in grades XI MP, XI BR, and XI AK. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable processed using SPSS version 23. Based on the results of the study, both partially and simultaneously, it shows that the hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to empirically analyze the impact of pocket money, lifestyle, and the use of financial technology on the saving behavior of Economic Education students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Siliwangi University batch 2021-2022. The research method used is the survey method. The population in this study were all Economic Education students in the 2021 and 2022 batches, with the sampling technique using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire, and data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results showed that: 1) Pocket money has a positive and significant effect on student saving behavior with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. 2) Lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on student saving behavior with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. 3) The use of financial technology has a positive and significant effect on student saving behavior with a significance value of 0.013 <0.05. 4) Pocket money, lifestyle, and the use of financial technology simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on student saving behavior, as evidenced by the Fhitung value of 66.277> Ftabel 2.67 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

The quality of education is strongly influenced by the readiness of teachers in carrying out their professional duties. Low levels of readiness among students in entering the teaching profession may negatively impact future educational outcomes. This study aims to analyze the influence of School Field Introduction (Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan), perceptions of the teaching profession, and self-efficacy on the readiness of Pre-service Teacher Professional Education (PPG Prajabatan) students at Universitas Siliwangi in 2024 to become professional teachers. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method with an explanatory research design. The study population consisted of 374 students, and a sample of 193 students from waves 1 and 2 was selected through random sampling. Data were collected through online questionnaires using Google Forms and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results showed that all three independent variables School Field Introduction, perception of the teaching profession, and self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on students' readiness to become teachers, both partially and simultaneously. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening field practice experiences, fostering positive perceptions of the teaching profession, and enhancing self-efficacy within the PPG program. This study contributes to the body of knowledge by providing empirical evidence on the factors influencing teacher readiness, which can inform policy improvements and the future implementation of teacher education programs

Abstract

Low academic achievement among students remains a pressing issue in the field of education. Both internal and external factors such as learning discipline and teacher creativity are believed to influence students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the influence of learning discipline and teacher creativity on learning motivation and their implications for student achievement. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. The population consisted of 186 Grade XI Social Economics students at SMA Negeri 7 Tasikmalaya. The sampling technique used was non probability sampling with a saturated sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Interval Class Value (ICV) and Path Analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results showed that learning discipline and teacher creativity significantly influence learning motivation. While learning discipline did not have a direct effect on academic achievement, teacher creativity did. Moreover, learning motivation was found to significantly affect academic achievement. Additionally, learning discipline and teacher creativity both had indirect effects on academic achievement through learning motivation. The findings highlight the critical role of psychological and pedagogical factors particularly motivation in enhancing student learning outcomes. This study offers valuable insights for the advancement of educational practices, emphasizing the importance of fostering both student discipline and teacher creativity to support academic success.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial literacy and the use of financial technology (fintech) on consumptive behavior in generation Z partially and simultaneously. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were Economics Education Students Class of 2021 and Class of 2022 at Siliwangi University. The sampling technique used was Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The data analysis technique used SPSS version 30. The results showed that: 1) There is a significant effect of financial literacy on consumptive behavior with a significance of 0.001 <0.05. 2) There is a significant influence of the use of financial technology (fintech) on consumptive behavior with a significance of <0.001 <0.005. 3) There is a significant influence of financial literacy and the use of financial technology (fintech) on consumptive behavior from the f test value obtained a significance value of <0.001 <0.05.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low level of entrepreneurial interest among students, despite the vast potential and opportunities in entrepreneurship. This study aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurial mentality, family environment, and peers on the entrepreneurial interest of Economics Education students at Universitas Siliwangi, class of 2021–2022. The research employed a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that, partially, entrepreneurial mentality (t = 4.222; sig. = 0.000), family environment (t = 2.953; sig. = 0.004), and peers (t = 2.052; sig. = 0.042) have a significant influence on entrepreneurial interest. Simultaneously, the three variables also have a significant influence (F = 34.171; sig. = 0.000). The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.433, indicating that 43.3% of the variation in entrepreneurial interest is explained by these variables, while the remaining 56.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the low creativity of students. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of family socio-economic status and learning motivation on learning creativity. The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya City, totaling 214 students. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling, namely by saturated sampling, the selection of saturated samples is that all populations are used as samples, namely 214. The data collection technique in this study is to use a questionnaire with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that the socio-economic status of the family had a significant effect on learning creativity in class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya City, learning motivation had a significant effect on learning creativity in class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya City. Family socio-economic status and learning motivation on learning creativity have a significant effect on economic learning achievement in class XI IPS students of SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya City with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05
