Abstract

Seorang guru perlu memiliki keterampilan-keterampilan tertentu yang berbeda dengan profesi lainnya. Keterampilan menjelaskan (explaining skill) sebagai salah satu keterampilan guru yang perlu dilatihkan sejak masa perkuliahan. Oleh karena itu perkuliahan di program studi pendidikan ekonomi sebagaian besar menggunakan metode diskusi dan metode tanya jawab. Dalam metode diskusi mahasiswa dilatih untuk menyampaikan informasi atau pendapatnya, dalam metode tanya jawab juga demikian, mahasiswa dilatih untuk menyampaikan jawaban atau bertanya mengenai permasalahan- permasalahan. Dengan demikian akan banyak kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk berlatih menjelaskan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti ingin mengetahui dengan lebih jelas tentang kontribusi metode diskusi dan tanya jawab dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menjelaskan (explaining skill). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan penyebaran kuesioner, sedangkan analisa data menggunakan analisa regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa  metode diskusi berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan  keterampilan  menjelaskan  mahasiswa  program studi  pendidikan ekonomi sebesar nilai r square yaitu 0,063 atau 6,3%. Metode tanya jawab berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menjelaskan mahasiswaprogram studi pendidikan ekonomisebesar nilai r square yaitu 0,073 atau 7,3%, sedangkan metode diskusi dan metode   tanya   jawab   berkontribusi   secara   bersama-sama   dalam   meningkatkan keterampilan menjelaskan mahasiswa program studi pendidikan ekonomisebesar nilai r square yaitu 0,127 atau 12,7% Kata Kunci : Diskusi, Keterampilan menjelaskan, Tanya jawab.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the learning outcomes of students are quite low. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence on student learning outcomes and to determine the differences between intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and learning outcomes between male and female students. This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach, and uses an explanatory research design. The population of this research is class XI SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya for the Academic Year 2020/2021 with 335 students. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling, so 182 samples were obtained. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire and data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression and Independent Sample T Test. The results of the Multiple Linear Regression test, the equation Y`= 36,068 + 0,519 X_1+0,268 X_2 means that intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence have a positive effect on learning outcomes, from simultaneous testing that intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence affect visible learning outcomes from the acquisition of F count 208,355 F table 3,046. Then the results of the Independent Sample T Test that there are no differences in intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and student learning outcomes between men and women as seen from the t-count value of each variable 0.200, 0.525, 1.893 t table 1.973.

Abstract

Model problem based learning sering kali digunakan dalam peningkatan keterampilan critical think peserta didik. Namun, dalam tahapan pembelajaran model tersebut masih dikatakan kurang optimal dalam penerapannya. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menggabungkan model serta metode dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu dengan penggabungan model problem based learning dengan metode mind mapping pada kelas XI di SMA Negeri 10 Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI-8 dan XI-10 yang terdiri dari 60 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan critical thinking peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas control, hal itu terbukti dengan hasil posttest menunjukkan kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan yang berbeda lebih tinggi yaitu 86.00 dibandingkan dengan rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 80.43. Dari data sig.(2-tailed) diperoleh nilai yaitu 0.001 < dari 0.05 maka dinyatakan Ha diterima. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perubahan dan pengaruh yang signifikan lebih baik serta efektif dalam penggunaan model problem based learning (PBL) dengan metode mind mapping dibandingkan pada model pembelajaran direct learning (konvensional).

Abstract

The problem in this research can be seen from the results of initial observations that the economics education major is not the main choice in choosing studies, meaning that students have low interest in entering the economics education major. It is possible that in the future it could lead to a lack of concentration during learning and feeling unsuitable or choosing the wrong major so that the student decides to leave. This research aims to determine the influence of personal potential, future orientation and family environment on decision making when continuing studies at the Department of Economic Education, Siliwangi University. The method used is a survey. Meanwhile, the population was students from the Economics Education Department at Siliwangi University using a proportional random sampling technique with a sample size of 107 respondents. Based on the research results, it is clear that 1) There is a positive and significant influence of personal potential on decision making when continuing studies at the Department of Economic Education, Siliwangi University 2) There is a positive and significant influence of future orientation on decision making when continuing studies at the Department of Economic Education, Siliwangi University 3) There is a positive and significant influence of the family environment on decision making when continuing studies at the Department of Economic Education, Siliwangi University. 4) There is a positive and significant influence of personal potential, future orientation and family environment on decision making when continuing studies at the Department of Economic Education, Siliwangi University.

Abstract

Based on the background in this study, at SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya, economic learning still uses teacher content learning, namely meaningful learning for teachers in the classroom. Teachers are usually more dominant as learning centers and students are less active when deepening the material. As a result, many students still get low learning outcomes. In this situation, the researcher experiments using the cooperative learning model, the researcher will conduct a study that compares the learning outcomes of students with two cooperative learning models, namely the TGT (Team Game Tournament) and GI (Group Investigation) cooperative learning models. The research method used in this study is an experimental method, which is a method that has the purpose of testing the relationship between one variable and another. The research design used by the researcher is a 2x2 factorial design. The population in this study is all students of class X of SMAN 2 Tasikmalaya Even Semester for the 2023/2024 school year, as many as 12 classes with a total of 430 students. The sample used in this study is 2 classes where classes X - 11 are Experiment A class and X-12 is Experiment B class. Students who have high abilities are better off using the TGT (Team Game Tournament) type cooperative learning model, while students who have low abilities are better off using the GI (Group Investigation) type learning model). The learning outcomes of students who are taught with the TGT (Team Game Tournament) type cooperative learning model are better than the learning outcomes of students who are taught with the learning model (Group Investigation) on Bank and Other Financial Institutions materials in class X of SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

The problem in this study is how the description of consumptive behavior in Siliwangi University students who come from the JABODETABEK area. This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy and peer conformity on student consumptive behavior. The method used in this research is survey. The population in this study was 335. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling so that the sample obtained was 182 students. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire distributed via google form with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that financial literacy had no significant effect on student consumptive behavior, while peer conformity partially had a significant effect on consumptive behavior. Then, simultaneously the two variables have a significant effect on the consumptive behavior of students.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students in economics subjects. This study aims to determine the influence of the application of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model with the help of Mind Mapping media. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out through pretest and posttest The samples were taken using the purposive sampling technique, obtained from class XI IPS 4 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 2 as the control class. The data analysis technique uses paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results of hypothesis testing showed: (1) There was an increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class (2) There was an increase in student learning outcomes in the control class (3) There was a difference in the increase in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class, where the average n-gain value of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, which was 0.67 and 0.57. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of a Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model with the help of Mind Mapping media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is the low learning achievement results of students in grades 10 and 11 at SMK Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya. This research aims to determine the effect of smartphone use and learning discipline on student learning achievement. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The data collection technique is through distributing questionnaires with a population of 260 students at SMK Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya and the sampling technique uses a proportional sampling technique with a total of 145 students as respondents. Based on the results of this research, it shows that 1) smartphone use has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement. 2) learning discipline has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement.

Abstract

Permasalahan pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang rendahnya hasil belajar mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Siliwangi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan Konformitas Teman Sebaya Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Serta Implikasinya Terhadap Hasil Belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey dengan menggunakan desain eksplanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran angket dengan populasi sebanyak 337 mahasiswa dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proporsional sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 194 mahasiswa. Alat analisis yang digunakan yaitu path analysis. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa 1) lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar. 2) Konformitas teman sebaya berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasil belajar mahasiswa. 3) Motivasi belajar berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. 4) Lingkungan Keluarga tidak berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. 5) Konformitas teman sebaya berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. 6) Lingkungan Keluarga berpengaruh Terhadap Hasil Belajar Melalui Motivasi Belajar mahasiswa. 7) Konformitas Teman Sebaya berpengaruh Terhadap Hasil Belajar Melalui Motivasi Belajar mahasiswa

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational activeness on learning motivation and its implications for learning achievement. The research method used is survey method with explanatory design. The population in this study were students who were members of student councils in public high schools in Tasikmalaya City, totaling 204 students. The sampling technique used random sampling. The data collection technique was carried out through a questionnaire and the analysis technique used was path analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between organizational activeness on learning motivation, there was a positive and significant influence between organizational activeness on learning achievement, and there was a positive and significant influence between organizational activeness on learning achievement through learning motivation.
