Abstract

Income and Role of Subak Padanggalak Farmers in Tourism Objects of Kertalangu Cultural Village, Kesiman Kertalangu Village, East Denpasar District, Denpasar City The source of income of most farmers may come from several sources that is called as diversification of income. The role of farmers could be seen from the perspective of culture, namely culture as system of ideas or thought patterns, culture as system of activities, and culture as system of artifacts. The purpose of this study is to identify and understand the income and role of farmers in terms of culture in the development of Kertalangu Cultural Village Tourism Object. The study involves 54 farmers as respondents and was conducted in the second planting season between August and November 2018. The sample was determined using accidental sampling method. The research shows that the income of farmers in Subak Padanggalak with an average area of 0.26 ha of arable land is Rp. 4,695,377.78. Farming is efficient with an R/C ratio of 4.92, which means that for every Rp 100 costs incurred, Rp 4.92 income is received. The role of farmers is investigated from the aspect of culture that consist of three elements, namely mindset, social, and material. The aspect of mindset is reflected in decision-making processes related with the existence of new ideas or ideas regarding the development of attractions where farmers are also given the opportunity to provide advice or input. In relation to social aspects, the operation and maintenance of irrigation networks has become a routine activity agenda. In addition, farmers also become the object of tourism packages provided by the manager of the attractions. The role of farmers in material aspects can be seen from the maintenance of subak physical facilities, namely the maintenance of special plants that are planted for ceremonial service. In addition, farmers also organize and maintain empelan and other infrastructures which are used as sites to learn subak for students. Based on this research, Subak Padanggalak farmers should continue to improve agricultural skills in order to increase income and maintain the synergy of subak with tourism in order to harmonize the two sectors.

Abstract

Perception of Marketing Mix on Consumer Satisfaction and The Relations withIntention to Revisit in Mangsi CoffeeMangsi Coffee is one coffee shop in Denpasar area, as one of the tourism facilities inBali. Rapid market competition resulted in Mangsi needing to pay attention to customersatisfaction. Consumer satisfaction is measured through consumer perceptions byassessing the marketing strategies that have been applied. The purpose of this study is toidentify indicators forming marketing mix variables that affect customer satisfaction andits relationship with intention to revisit in Mangsi Coffee. This research was conductedat Mangsi Coffee Sanur and Merdeka with 100 respondents. The analysis used isStructural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed that the product variable wasformed by 5 brand indicators, taste, presentation, aroma, and product variation. Pricevariables are formed by 3 indicators, namely affordability, price suitability, and pricecompetitiveness. Promotion variables are formed by 4 indicators of service, media,quality, and quantity of promotion. Place variables are formed by 4 indicators ofcomfort, decoration, cleanliness and service. The results of the direct influence ofexogenous variables on endogenous variables with a significant level is 5% (0.05)indicate that all direct relationships have a significant and positive effect. The influenceof the most significant marketing mix variables on customer satisfaction is thepromotion variable is 21.7% (0.217) with p-Value is 0.065. The effect of variablecustomer satisfaction on intention to revisit is 77.3% (0.773) with a p-Value is 0.000.The results showed that consumer satisfaction at Mangsi Coffee was good but anevaluation of marketing strategy was needed if a marketing strategy was changed.

Abstract

Usahatani padi sawah yang merupakan sumber utama pendapatan petani di Kecamatan Biboki Moenleu yang masih bersifat semi komersial, produksi padi sawah yang dihasilkan tidak semuanya dipasarkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup rumah tangga tetapi sebagian untuk di konsumsi. Upaya peningkatan produksi padi sawah dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor di antaranya faktor produksi, lingkungan, serta faktor sosial ekonomi. Pada kenyataannya petani belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan lahan secara baik, sehingga masih tersisa lahan tidur padahal air bukanlah menjadi kendala. Dalam setahun petani dapat melakukan dua kali penanaman. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Biboki Moenleu, Desa Oepuah, Oepuah Utara, dan Oepuah Selatan. Obyek penelitian adalah petani padi sawah sebanyak 200 responden. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara simultan antara faktor-faktor produksi terhadap produksi padi sawah, untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan pengaruh secara parsial antara faktor-faktor produksi terhadap produksi padi sawah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama faktor produksi utama satu dan faktor produksi utama dua yaitu: luas lahan, bibit, penggunaan tenaga kerja, umur, dan pendidikan sedangkan, faktor produksi pendukung satu, dan faktor produksi pendukung dua yaitu: yaitu penggunaan pupuk, obat-obatan, dan sistem pengelolaan yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi sawah adalah sangat nyata. Faktor produksi utama satu yakni luas lahan, bibit, penggunaan tenaga kerja, umur, dan pendidikan sedangkan, faktor produksi pendukung satu yaitu penggunaan pupuk, obat-obatan, dan sistem pengelolaan yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi sawah. Sedangkan, yang lainnya tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

This research was carried out to study farmer’s income and profit gain fromfarm ordinary chili. The research is conducted at Perean Tengah village, Baturitidistrict, Tanbanan regency. Thirty farmers who done ordinary chili with monoculturesystem was taken randomly as samples.The result of the research show the average large farmbusiness was 0.14hectar with 1,670 kg products each farm (11,929 kg/hectar). While average revennewas Rp 13,999,610.00 each farm (Rp 99,997,214.00/hectar) with the chili price Rp8,383.00/kg. Meanwhile farmer expenditure for each farm was Rp 2,296,350.00 (Rp16,402,500.00/hectar), so farmer’s income and net profit were Rp 12,141,229.00 andRp 11,703,260.00 each farm respectively with Return-Cost-Ratio was 6.10, its meanthat the chili farmbusiness give much benefit to the farmers.

Abstract

Hasil survei PISA 2018 menyatakan bahwa skor sains siswa Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke-70 dari 78 negara. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA siswa Indonesia masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan E-modul IPA dengan model STEM-PjBL berorientasi pendidikan karakter yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa SMP kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Four-D Models) yang meliputi define, design, develop dan disseminate. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik pemberian angket validasi, angket kepraktisan, dan tes hasil belajar berbentuk pilihan ganda. Adapun rancangan penelitian untuk uji keefektifan menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data hasil penelitian di analisis dengan analisis validasi Gregory, N-gain score ternormalisasi dan analisis skor rata-rata. Hasil penelitian yaitu pertama, validitas materi e-modul dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Kedua, validitas media e-modul dengan kualifikasi sangat valid. Ketiga, validitas bahasa e-modul dengan kualifikasi sangat valid. Keempat, hasil uji kepraktisan menunjukkan bahwa e-modul sangat praktis dari praktisi guru dan (2) e-modul sangat praktis dari praktisi siswa. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa  terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul telah memperoleh penilaian yang valid dari segi materi, bahasa, dan media dan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
