Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan masyarakat Desa Tiwu Nampar terhadap tradisi kumpul kope dan mengapa tradisi kumpul kope masih dipertahankan oleh masyarakat Desa Tiwu Nampar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dekskriptif, dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah 15 orang informan yaitu tokoh adat, tokoh agama, tua golo, 5 orang laki-laki yang pernah melaksanakan kumpul kope, 4 orang keluarga, dan 3 orang pemuda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, 1) Pandangan masyarakat Desa Tiwu Nampar terhadap tradisi kumpul kope antara lain (a) Kumpul kope sebagai sebuah bentuk solidaritas sosial, yaitu hubungan mereka sangat solid dan harmonis (b) Sebagai bentuk gotong royong. 2) Alasan tradisi kumpul kope masih dipertahankan di Desa Tiwu Nampar antara lain (a) sebagai warisan leluhur yaitu jika tidak melaksanakan tradisi ini maka akan merasa kurang sempurna dalam proses perkawinan. (b) Ekonomi yaitu kumpul kope dapat membantu menyelesaikan biaya belis mas kawin yang sangat besar. (c) Sosialisasi kumpul kope yaitu supaya tradisi ini tetap bertahan dan dilestarikan oleh generasi selanjutnya

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the from of community empowerment on ecotourism potential in the coastal tourism area, and the strategic impact of community empowerment on ecotourism potential in the coastal tourism area of Alor District in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research by determining the number of informants consisting of 10 informants selected by purposive sampling technique with the criteria of informants from the local government and the people living in Alor Regency. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used by the researcher went through three stages of work, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validation techniques used were source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the study show that 1) the from of community empowerment in ecotourism potential is by introducing and disseminating the concept of ecotourism openly to the community to foster an understanding of ecotourism from community empowerment it self, as well as marketing and tourism promotion by assisting tourism activities and business capital assistance, 2) the strategic impact of community empowerment on ecotourism potential in coastal tourism area, namely the socio-economic and cultural impact. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat pada potensi ekowisata di kawasan wisata pantai dan dampak strategis pemberdayaan masyarakat pada potensi ekowisata di kawasan wisata pantai Kabupaten Alor Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan penentuan jumlah informan terdiri dari 10 informan yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria informan masyarakat pesisir dan pemerintah setempat di Kabupaten Alor. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti melalui tiga tahapan kerja yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengabsahaan data yang digunakan yakni triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat pada potensi ekowisata dengan memperkenalkan dan mensosialisasikan konsep ekowisata secara terbuka kepada masyarakat untuk menumbuhkan pemahaman tentang ekowisata dari pemberdayaan masyarakat itu sendiri, serta pemasaran dan promosi wisata dengan pendampingan kegiatan pariwisata dan bantuan modal usaha. 2) dampak strategis yang ditimbulkan dari pemberdayaan masyarakat pada potensi ekowisata di kawasan wisata pantai yakni dampak ekonomi, dan sosial budaya.

Abstract

Students have a role in maintaining values for the development of country. One effort to strengthen the role of these students is through the independent learning program (MBKM). Independent Learning – Independent Campus (MBKM) is one of the policies of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. This study aims to develop a Sociology textbook based on the IOC (Inside Outside Circle) model for the implementation of MBKM. This research method uses research and development (R & D) which aims to develop certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. The essence of this development research is the validation and revision of the class X sociology textbook based on the 4-D model which consists of 4 stages of development, namely Define, Design, Develop and Desiminate. The results of trials conducted on 35 students showed that student learning outcomes were in the very good category, student learning outcomes were in the good category. Of the 35 students who have completed, individually in the sociology class, it means that students have achieved the KKM that has been set, namely 80%. It can be concluded that students have met the criteria set in the development of sociology textbooks in sociology subjects.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the role of sociology teachers in implementing character education through learning at school of Makassar. This type of research used descriptive qualitative research namely to analyze solutions to existing problems based on data, presenting data, analyzing and interpreting. Research informants were determined by purposive sampling technique consisting of the principal (curriculum section), Sociology teachers in grades X, XI, XII, and students who were registered as social studies students. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques were data use, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.The results showed that the role of the sociology teacher in implementing character education through learning was as follows; Inserting moral messages in learning that are associated with learning materials, Linking the material with social phenomena that exist in society, Applying learning models that can foster a sense of empathy, and responsibility, Providing exemplary for students such as arriving on time, not smoking, throwing trash in its place and caring for others, Cooperating with guidance counseling and students' parents. As conclusion that character education can be implemented through learning in schools and sociology teachers have role in implementing character education.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the increase in sociological learning activities of students by applying the Time Token type Cooperative learning technique, this type of research used classroom action research (CAR), the subject of this research was class XI Social Science 1 students of SMA Negeri 10 Makassar, The total numbers of students were 29 students. Data were obtained through observation sheets of students’ activities during group work presentations from cycle I to cycle II, data analysis was carried out using scores based on reference assessments. Data shows that there is an increase in student learning activities after applying the Time Token Cooperative learning model. In class XI Ips1 students at SMA Negeri 10 Makassar, in cycle I 78.6 and cycle II 82.7. The conclusion of this study is that by applying the Cooperative Learning model of Time Token type, it can increase the sociology learning activities of students in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 10 Makassar.

Abstract

The integration of instant messaging services into educational settings has become increasingly prevalent, providing unique opportunities for enhanced communication and learning. This study aimed to examine the viewpoints of educators and students regarding the use of instant messaging services, such as WhatsApp, in their translation education and instruction. The study employed a qualitative research approach, specifically content analysis, to examine the utterances of two translation lecturers and fifteen ESP students. The results revealed that participants unanimously agreed that instant messaging services facilitated their teaching and learning of translation by using consistent terminology and rephrasing complex tasks to provide guidance throughout the chat. This approach enriched the translation understanding of ESP students. The study suggests using one consistent term to refer to the translation process throughout the text. In conclusion, chatting applications like WhatsApp are powerful and efficient communication tools that can facilitate an engaging, authentic, and meaningful learning experience when effectively included in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) classrooms for online translation interactions.

Abstract

The aim of this community services was conducted to sharpen of respondents’ sensitivity and the ability to identify, understand, interpreter, make, communicate, and count. In the end of this program, to involve the learning continuously in which individuals probably got their goals, to develop their knowledge and capacity, and full participation of their community and in whole community. Method was applied in this program namely method that emphasized the respondents’ participation. There were three steps in implementing the programs namely: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) evaluation stages. There were 40 respondents from their ages beginning from 12 to 55 years old and they had productive age. The results of this community services, there were increasing respondents’ literacy each kinds of community services more than 70%. Based on post test results showed that there were 90% (36 respondents) had to be able to read, 92% (37 respondents) had to be able to write, and 85% (34 respondents) had to be able to count. 87.5% (35 respondents) had to be able to read Al-Quran. Based on the results obtained from this community service program, so it was stated success to motivate community got out from illiterate.

Abstract

Abstrak. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the project-based learning model on narrative writing skills and learning achievement of Indonesian language elementary school students. This type of research is pre-experimental research in the form of a group Pre Test Post Test Design, which is an experiment that in its implementation, only involves one class as an experimental class without a comparison class (control class). The results showed that the narrative writing skills in Indonesian language subjects of students at the pretest stage using test instruments can be concluded that the narrative writing skills in Indonesian language subjects of Class IV students of SD Inpres Sailong, Gowa Regency have not met the criteria for classical learning achievement completeness because students who are complete are only 4% of 75%.75%. Meanwhile, at the post-test stage using test instruments, it can be said that the level of narrative writing skills in Indonesian language subjects of students after applying the project-based learning model is high, so it can be concluded that narrative writing skills in Indonesian language subjects of Class IV students of SD Inpres Sailong Gowa Regency have met the criteria for classical learning achievement completeness because students who are complete are 92% of 75%. 75%.

Abstract

Tujuan Dari Penelitian Ini Adalah Untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Game Online Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Di Kelas X Dan XI SMA Nasional Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas X dan XI SMA nasional makassar yang berjumlah 20 orang. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes kemampuan prestasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik analisis inferensial dengan menggunakan SPSS 22 for windows. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata aktivitas guru 3,1 dengan kategori baik, nilai rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik 3,0 dengan kategori baik. Hasil tes kemampuan prestasi belajar nilai rata-rata pretest 61,30 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 84,05. Analisis inferensial, pada hasil uji normalitas 0,200 > 0,05 (berdistribusi normal), hasil uji homogenitas adalah 0,229 > 0,05 (homogenitas terpenuhi) dan hasil uji T adalah 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa game online berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar di kelas X Dan XI SMA nasional makassar
