Abstract

This studied aims to know the educational system in Netherland. The research method is literature review or literature study, which contains theories relevant to research problems. The result of the educational system of Netherland that the politics and structure of educational system: the Dutch government through its constitution places freedoms in the education system, namely: (a) freedom to establish educational institutions; (b) organize it; and (c) determine their own religious basis or underlying belief. The structure and type of education: there are three levels of formal Dutch education, namely primary, junior secondary and vocational education, and general high school, vocational academies and universities. The general secondary school structure consists of 4 types of schools, namely: pre-university (VWO, 6 years), vocational level I (MAVO, 4 years), and upper level (HAVO, 5 years), vocational academies, and other types of schools. The education management; The form of the Dutch education system is centralized. The responsibility of the central government lies in matters relating to the organization, funding, inspections, examinations, promotion innovation. The reflection of educational of netherland; role of the education inspectorate is very large in controlling the implementation of education in the Netherlands.

Abstract

Strategy implementation is the management process of realizing its strategy in the form of programs, procedures, budgets and strategy development in the form of actions. Principals are managers in schools who are expected to be able to implement strategies in schools so that educational goals in schools are still achieved and changes that occur can also be made. The principal must be able to seek a dynamic educational institution, so that the school he leads continues to live in the midst of such intense competition. The case study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of the strategic plan at SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu went well under the leadership of the principal for the 2015-2022 period, namely Drs. Jasir, M.Pd, starting from setting the vision and mission, formulating the strategy, implementing the strategy, and evaluating & supervising the strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of school principals in the development of teacher pedagogic competencies in elementary schools. For the development of teacher pedagogic competence, this research refers to the academic supervision of teachers. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation review. Testing the validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this study is that the principal acts as a supervisor in the development of teacher pedagogical competencies through the implementation of activities to review learning tools, monitor learning tools and choose supervision assessment instruments.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to test the effect of academic supervision and work life balance on teacher performance during Covid-19. This type of research is quantitative with an explanatory research approach. There were 92 teachers of SMK 8 Padang who were selected as samples in the study based on saturated sampling techniques. Research data collected through a questionnaire for academic supervision. The data was collected using questionnaires with a 5-point likert measurement scale. Findings in this study with regression analysis multiple linear showing the results of the analysis that: there is an influence of academic supervision on teacher performance during Covid-19 H1 received; there is a work life balance effect to the performance of teachers during Covid-19 H2 received; and there is an influence of academic supervision and work life balance simultaneously on teacher performance during Covid-19 H3 received.

Abstract

This research aims to know the educational system of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The research method is literature review or literature study, which contains theories relevant to research problems. The result of the educational system of Egypt that the educational objectives are uphold democracy and the formation of democratic individuals. The authority is centralized, under the ministry of education and ministry of Al-Azhar. Curriculum preparation is carried out with teamwork consisting of experts, professors, consultants, and educational supervisors as well as experienced teachers. The government budgets 17% of the national budget. The educational structures are  1) basic education (ibtida'i), 2) secondary education/preparation (I'dadi), 3) upper secondary education (tsanawi), 4) higher education or university, and 5) elementary school level 6-11 years.  The academic year start from June to August.

Abstract

This  study  aims  to  describe  the principal leadership in efforts to increase the motivation of the the teachers.  This study examines the influence of the principal's role as a leader on the motivation of elementary school teachers in Tapan District. The research method used ex-post facto with a quantitative approach and a correlational design. The results of simple linear regression analysis for testing hypothesis 2 obtained a partial correlation coefficient of X variable of 0.504 and is positive; Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 is less than 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between the role of the principal as a leader, and the work motivation of teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the principal's role as a leader in managing resources in schools that have a positive impact on the creation of effective school climate in SMA Negeri 1 Koto XI Tarusan. The research used is qualitative research where the data sources or respondents are all school residents including the principal, educators and education staff, students and committees as representatives of parents in the school. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation studies of school program documents such as RKJM, RKT, and RKAS as well as documentation studies of the education unit level curriculum which contains a program of activities carried out by schools within the next one year. Data analysis used interactive models, data validity using data triangulation. The results of research conclusions The principal as a school manager is able to determine achievement targets and milestones of success in implementing the RKS which is prepared based on the education quality report card and involves various parties, both in the 4-year Medium-Term Work Plan (RKJM) and the 1-year Annual Work Plan (RKT) so that implementation of program planning is more operational and its achievements are measurable. The principal's leadership in implementing school programs must refer to programs that have been previously designed by involving school members according to their respective main tasks and functions

Abstract

Community needs for quality health services are increasing, in line with developments happening in the world today. Health workers are one of the main factors in health service efforts so that it is necessary to improve the quality of health workers. One of the efforts to improve the quality of health workers is through education. Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) as outlined in the Minister of Health Regulation Number 41 of 2016 concerning the Program for Accelerating the Improvement of Education Qualifications for Health Workers. knowing how to implement the Accelerated Nursing Education Program through the Recognition Mechanism of Past Learning (RPL) at Poltekkes Kemenkes Padang, using qualitative research methods with research designs using the Rapid Assessment Procedure (RAP) or rapid assessment procedures. Research result that the implementation of the Midwifery Education Acceleration Program through the RPL Mechanism at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health Padang has been going well despite experiencing several obstacles in program socialization and technical implementation of learning related to the status of students' study permit.

Abstract

The teacher is a profession that has an important role in realizing quality education, especially in the learning process in formal schools. For this reason, there needs to be a selection carried out in selecting prospective teachers and also a coaching process so that the teaching profession contributes to success in the world of education. This study provides an overview of the differences of teacher recruitment and development in Indonesia and England. The method used in this study is a literature study obtained from various writings in journals and books. The results obtained in this study indicate several comparison: 1) there are two types of teacher recrutment in Indonesia, namely selection of civil servant teachers in public schools conducted by the government under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture, and selection carried out by foundations to become honorary teachers or part-time teachers at private schools with the provisions and rules made by the school itself. While in England, the selection is carried out by each school that will accept prospective teachers with the terms and conditions that have been determined and apply to public schools and private schools; 2) Development of teachers in Indonesia is carried out after qualifying to become teachers (both civil servants and non-civil servants) which is provided by the government or private sector, while in England, coaching is carried out before and after becoming a teacher which is the responsibility of each school.

Abstract

Di masa ini pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran masih kurang maksimal yang dimana guru masih kurang menerapkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya penggunaan media pembelajaran, guru cenderung hanya menggunakan media gambar yang terdapat dalam buku siswa, sehingga akan menyebabkan pembelajaran menjadi kurang maksimal, dan siswa akan merasa bosan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran e-book berbasis blended learning tematik terpadu untuk siswa kelas 4 SD dengan metode R&D menggunakan model ADDIE. Tahap Analyze mengungkapkan permasalahan dasar pada pengembangan e-book. Tahap Design membuat desain draf untuk e-book. Tahap Develop, penilaian e-book dilakukan oleh pakar, dengan aspek materi memperoleh skor 91% dengan kategori sangat valid, aspek media memperoleh skor 90% dalam kategori sangat valid, dan aspek bahasa memperoleh skor 97% dengan kategori sangat valid. Tahap Implementation dilakukan uji praktikalitas dan uji efektifitas. Uji praktikalitas oleh guru memperoleh skor 95% kategori sangat praktis, dan hasil uji praktikalitas siswa memperoleh skor 99,5% kategori sangat praktis. Uji efektifitas dilakukan dalam hasil belajar siswa pada aspek pengetahuan pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri 05 Padang Pasir dan Sekolah Dasar Negeri Percobaan Kota Padang memperoleh skor 82,89 dan 85,86 dengan predikat Baik. aspek keterampilan memperoleh nilai 3,72 dan 3,63 dengan perolehan predikat Amat Baik, dan aspek sikap memperoleh nilai 88 dan 82 dengan predikat Baik. Tahap Evaluation, dilakukan dengan analisis yang dilakukan dan menilai saran dan kontribusi pakar selama tahap validasi e-book yang dikembangkan. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, disimpulkan bahwa e-book berbasis pembelajaran tematik terpadu kelas 4 valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan di kelas 4 SD.
