Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan model pembelajaran Example Non Example dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas X MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi. Subjek pada penelitian ini terdiri dari satu kelas saja yaitu kelas X 11. Intrumen yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tes, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal dan melihat hasil pretes, dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi tidaklah bagus dan masuk pada kategori rendah. Setelah diberikan treatment berupa model pembelajaran Example Non Example dan melakukan postes dapat terlihat adanya peningkatan nilai pada hasil postes siswa kelas X 11. Berdasarkan hasil uji signifikasi, kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen mengalami peningkatan. Dapat dilihat perbedaan antara nilai pretes dan nilai postes. Nilai rata-rata pada postes 83.52 sedangkan nilai pretes 61.35. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji-t dengan diketahui thitung 12.18 lebih besar dari ttabel 2.032. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak karena thitung > ttabel. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Example Non Example efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen siswa kelas X MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi.

Abstract

The brainstorming learning method can be used as a learning method to help improve students' ability to write news texts. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of using the brainstorming learning method on the ability to write news texts in class VIII B students at SMP Negeri 1 Sagaranten. The research method used is a quantitative method with research type experiments. Furthermore, this study used a one group pretest and posttest design. The use of the brainstorming learning method to improve the ability to write news texts can be seen by giving pretest and posttest to students. The pretest given to students of class VIII B, namely before being given treatment and the posttest, is a test given to students VIII B after being given treatment using the brainstorming method. So that after carrying out the pretest and posttest, the average pretest score was 58.79 while the posttest average score was 79.50. Then the N-gain test was carried out to see the difference between the pretest and posttest values, the result of the N-gain value was 0.4771 with moderate criteria. Furthermore, the results of the Hypothesis Test for the t-test of the paired sample test hypothesis are accepted because it shows that H0 is rejected in other words, Ha is accepted because the tcount is 8.51 > ttable 2.069, which means that the brainstorming learning method affects the ability to write news texts for class VIII B students of SMP Negeri 1 Sagaranten Academic Year 2022/2023. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui unsur intrinsik komik dan representasi unsur mistik dalam webtoon ”Sarimin” karya Naga Terbang. Metode penelitian digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif analisis dan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Naga Terbang menjadi subjek penelitian ini dan objek penelitiannya adalah karya sastra berupa webtoon berjudul “Sarimin” yang dibatasi episode 1-3 dalam webtoon kompilasi Hari Berarti (2018). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana komikus menggambarkan unsur mistik khususnya mistik magis dari segi sifatnya yaitu santet yang terkandung dalam webtoon ”Sarimin” karya Naga Terbang. Santet merupakan upaya untuk mencelakai orang lain dari jarak jauh menggunakan ilmu hitam yang berasal dari dukun atau bantuan dari makhluk supranatural. Peneliti membagi representasi unsur mistik magis tentang santet dalam beberapa bagian, meliputi; proses praktik santet, faktor penyebab terjadinya praktik santet, serta dampak dan akibat melakukan praktik santet. This study aims to find out how the intrinsic elements of comics (characterization, plot, theme and moral, picture and language) and the representation of mystical elements in the webtoon ”Sarimin” by Naga Terbang. The research method that will be used is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis research design and uses a literary psychology approach about phenomenon of psycologia mystica. In this study, Naga Terbang is the subject of research and the object of research is a literary work in the form of the Webtoon ”Sarimin” which is limited to the title Sarimin episodes 1-3 in the compilation webtoon Hari Berarti (2018). The data collection technique used is the documentation technique. The data analysis techniques used are dara reduction, data presentation, and data verification. This study show how comic artists describe the intrinsic elements of comic and mystical elements, especially magical mystique in tems of their nature, namely witchcraft contained in the ”Sarimin” webtoon by Naga Terbang. Witchcraft is an attempt to harm other people from a distance using black magic that comes from shamans or help from suprenatural being. In this study, the author dividess the representation of magical mystical elements about witchcraft in several part, including the process of practicing witchcraft, the factors causing the practice of witchcraft, and the impact and consequences of practicing witchcraft.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan teknik dictogloss terhadap kemampuan menyimak cerita fabel siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Jampang Kulon tahun ajar 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis ekperimen. Pada penelitian ini juga terdapat jumlah populasi siswa sebanyak 104 siswa dari 5 kelas, dan pada penelitian ini hanya diambil 2 sampel kelas untuk dijadikan bahan penelitian yaitu kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah masing-masing siswa sebanyak 21 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara pemberian tes kepada siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yakni berupa rubrik penilaian cerita fabel dan soal posttest cerita fabel. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan rumus uji-t desain ketiga. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh didalam proses pembelajaran menyimak dengan menggunakan teknik dictogloss ini karena hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan uji-t desain ketiga diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 9,03 sedangkan nilai t tabel adalah N – 1 = 21 – 1 = 20 = 1,725 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Maka dengan demikian, H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Jadi, t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel artinya pembelajaran dengan menggunakan teknik dictogloss ini berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyimak cerita fabel siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Jampang Kulon Tahun Ajar 2022/2023. Abstract

Semiotics is the study of signs (sign). According to Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic theory, the most important subject of Saussure's theory is the principle that language is a system of signs, and each sign is composed of two parts, namely the signifier and the signified. This study focuses on analyzing the meaning contained in the song lyrics of Soegi Bornean's singles entitled "Semenjana", "Samsara", and "Pijaraya" using descriptive qualitative methods with the aim of describing the meaning contained in the lyrics of the singles. songs by Soegi Bornean entitled "Semenjana", "Samsara", and "Pijaraya". Based on the results of the research, the lyrics of Soegi Bornean's singles entitled Semenjana", "Samsara", and "Pijaraya" contain a very deep meaning of life. The song entitled “Semenjana” teaches us that in life we must instill a simple attitude. In the song "Samsara" there is a message that we must include sincerity in our lives, because sincerity is a symbol of maturity. Whereas the single song entitled "Pijaraya" teaches us to instill goodness and always make calm as a foothold, then happiness will come. In researching the song lyrics of Soegi Bornean's singles, Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic analysis is used. Saussure's theoretical model focuses more on direct attention to the sign itself.

Abstract

This study uses an anthology of poetry by Sapardi Djoko Damono entitled Rain in June. This study will use the poetry anthology Rain in June as the object of research. The poetry anthology Rain in the Month of June consists of 102 titles of poems written between 1959-1994. Meanwhile, the poems that will be used as research objects only consist of three poems with the titles "June Rain", "I Want" and "In My Prayers". The selection of the three poems is based on the theme that is considered the same by the researcher, namely the theme of love. The researcher will use a qualitative research method, the method used in this qualitative research is a descriptive analysis method, that is, the research is not only limited to collecting data, but the research also analyzes and interprets the data. The focus of research in this case is how the inner and physical elements of the poem Rain in June by Saprdi Djoko Damono. The data collection techniques carried out by researchers are reading and understanding poetry. The researcher read and understood the poems "Rain in the Month of June", "I Want" and "In My Prayers" by Sapardi Djoko Damono, then understood the structure and transformation of the poems. Data analysis techniques in research use three main components: Data reduction is a selection process, focusing attention on simplification, abstraction and transformation of raw data that emerges from records in the research object of presenting data. The results and discussion found that the poems "June Rain, "I Want" and "In My Prayers" in the June Rain poetry anthology have physical elements which include theme, taste, tone and message. Abstract

This study aims to identify and evaluate high school students' scores in Sukabumi City on the reading section of the Indonesian Language Proficiency Test. The research method used a descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research are students from SMA Muhammadiyah in Sukabumi City, consisting of 5 classes, namely classes X, XI A, XI B, XII IPS, and XII IPA. The instrument used was an Indonesian Language Proficiency Test sheet containing 40 questions. The data analysis technique used was a qualitative descriptive method to describe the results of the students' proficiency data. The results showed that the initial abilities of the five classes in high school in Sukabumi City, namely classes X, XI A, XI B, XII IPS, and XII IPA, obtained an average score of 170, while the abilities in the second test of the five classes in high school in Sukabumi City, namely classes X, XI A, XI B, XII IPS, and XII IPA, obtained an average score of 194. The results of the data from the two test sessions, the scores of the UKBI test in the reading category, showed that from the five classes, the results for test 1 show an average student ability score of 170 with a "Madya" predicate, while test 2 shows an average student ability score of 194 with a "Madya" predicate, indicating an improvement between test 1 and test 2. Although the reading proficiency predicate remains "Madya" between test 1 and test 2.

Abstract

Social reality is a description of social problems in society that are expressed in a literary work. This social reality is related to the sociology of literature. Literary sociology is the analysis and evaluation of literary works by considering social reality. This research aims to describe the social reality that occurs in the short story Hikayat Asam Pedas by Azhari Aiyub. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study found that there are intrinsic elements and social realities that include culture, economy, and suffering in the short story Hikayat Asam Pedas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keterampilan berbahasa reseptif dikhususkan keterampilan menyimak pada peserta didik kelas X SMKN 1 Kota Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode dekriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Sampel peneitian ini SMKN 1 Kota Sukabumi kelas X berjumlah 31 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan tes dengan Instrumen yang digunakan berupa rekaman audio berisi wacana lisan terdiri atas empat wacana dialog dan empat wacana monolog serta empat puluh soal pilihan ganda. Prosedur penelitian meliputi dua tahap yaitu pertama menyimak wacana dan kedua mengerjakan soal pilihan ganda. Peserta didik menyimak secara bertahap yakni satu wacana untuk lima soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan peserta didik beragam yaitu yang mendapat predikat unggul atau baik 13 orang atau 41,9% , sangat unggul atau sangat baik 7 orang atau 22,6%, dan cukup baik atau madya 11 orang atau 35,5%. Dengan demikian kemampuan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas X SMKN 1 Sukabumi tergolong baik. Adapun soal yang dijawab benar yang paling tinggi yaitu di soal nomor 26 yaitu di soal wacana monolog dan soal yang paling rendah atau sedikit dijawab benar yaitu di soal no 40 di soal wacana monolog.

Abstract

Keterampilan menyimak merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Melalui keterampilan menyimak yang baik, siswa akan dengan mudah menangkap dan memahami setiap materi yang disampaikan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari strategi pembelajaran Direct Listening Thinking Activity terhadap keterampilan menyimak teks berita siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Kota Sukabumi tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif berbentuk eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal melalui kegiatan pretest menyimak teks berita, diketahui nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa yaitu 61,91, sedangkan setelah siswa diberikan treatment dan posttest, nilai rata-rata siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 78,09. Kemudian untuk mengetahui selisih dari nilai pretest dan posttest, maka dilakukan uji N-gain dan diperoleh nilai N-gain 0,4026 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Selanjutnya, dalam pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Paired Sample T-test, diketahui bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 dan diperoleh nilai thitung>ttabel yaitu 7.406 > 2.034, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Direct Listening Thinking Activity berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menyimak teks berita siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Kota Sukabumi tahun ajaran 2023/2024.Kata kunci: Strategi DLTA, Menyimak, Teks Berita
