Abstract

Latar Belakang: Virus Corona (Covid-19) merupakan virus yang pertama kali ditemukan di Kota Wuhan di Cina pada akhir di tahun 2019. Kasus pasien yang teridentifikasi virus covid-19 ini terus meningkat tiap harinya baik di Indonesia maupun di dunia. Pada masa pandemi covid-19 ini diharapkan masyarakat menerapkan hidup sehat, menerapkan protokol kesehatan seperti menggunakan masker, mencuci tangan dengan air mengalir atau menggunakan hand sanitizer serta menghindari kerumunan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh masyarakat untuk bertahan dalam masa pandemi covid-19 ini yaitu dengan meningkatkan imunitas tubuh karena virus akan lemah jika sistem kekebalan tubuh kita lebih kuat. Namun demikian terbatasnya informasi khususnya dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan imunitas tubuh, maka diperlukan dilaksanakan penyuluhan pada masyarakat desa uteunkot akan pentingnya imunitas tubuh di masa pandemi ini. Desa uteunkot sebagai salah satu desa di Kecamatan muara dua yang terdampak oleh kondisi pandemi ini. Maka dilakukan program pengabdian masyarakat ini di Desa uteunkot. Tujuan: Adapun yang menjadi tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan dan pentingnya kesadaran akan imunitas tubuh  di  masa  pandemik  covid-19.  Metode:  Survei  awal  lokasi  dan  permasalahan Target, pertemuan dengan kepala desa uteunkot, melakukan penyuluhan mengenai pencegahan covid-19 dan mengenai pentingnya imunitas tubuh, pembagian brosur, monitoring dan evaluasi (Monev) serta penyusunan laporan. Luaran: Laporan Pengabdian, Publikasi jurnal ilmiah nasional berbasis OJS atau prosiding seminar nasional; dan Publikasi kegiatan pada media cetak atau online dan Dokumen kerjasama dengan mitra/masyarakat. Hasil: Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran tentang imunitas bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the germ Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which can attack various organs, especially the lungs. This disease if not treated or treatment until complete it will cause dangerous complications until death. Objective: To determine the picture of nutritional status in Pulmonary TB patients aged 0-5 years who undergo outpatient treatment at the Children's Poly of RSUD Cut Meutia North Aceh in 2022. Method: This study is a descriptive research conducted from September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022. Results: The age of respondents diagnosed with Pulmonary TB was at most 13-24 months and 49-60 months respectively (25%) with the highest sex of respondents being men (55%). Nutritional Status in the measurement of BB / U is the most with normal weight (50%), TB / U index obtained normal height (60%), BB / TB index and BMI / U have the most good nutritional status (65%). Conclusion: Variations in the nutritional status of pulmonary TB patients were obtained at the Children's Poly of RSUD Cut Meutia Aceh

Abstract

Introduction: Typhoid fever is a systemic disease caused by bacterial infection, so rational use of antibiotics is important in the treatment of typhoid fever to support effectiveness and prevent antibiotic resistance. The aim of this study was to assess the rationality of antibiotic use in pediatric typhoid fever patients at the Cut Meutia Regional General Hospital, North Aceh using the Gyssens method based on IDAI and Ministry of Health guidelines.Method: This research is descriptive. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique and time limited sampling method. The samples in this study were medical records of pediatric typhoid fever patients in the inpatient room of Cut Meutia Hospital, North Aceh 2022.Results: The results obtained ceftriaxone as the most commonly administered antibiotic, followed by cefixime, and quinolones. For rationality, there was ceftriaxone classified as category 0 as much as 4,4%, Category II A in ceftriaxone and cefixime as much as 17,5%, category II B in ceftriaxone as much as 0,6%, category III B in ceftriaxone and cefixime as much as 51,2%, category IV B in quinolones as much as 6,9%, and category VI in incomplete medical records as much as 19,4%.Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the most frequently used antibiotic is ceftriaxone, while the level of rationality indicates a significant proportion of irrational use.
