Abstract

Telah dilakukan desain teras Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Nuklir (PLTN) untuk jenis Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (PBMR) dengan daya 70 MWe untuk keperluan proses smelter pada keadaan beginning of life (BOL). Analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persen pengkayaan, distribusi suhu dan nilai keselamatan dengan koefisien reaktivitas teras yang negatif pada reaktor jenis PBMR apabila daya reaktor 70 MWe. Analisis menggunakan program Monte Carlo N-Particle-5 (MCNP5) dan dari hasil analisis ini diharapkan dapat memenuhi syarat dalam mendukung program percepatan pembangunan kelistrikan batubara 10.000 MWe khususnya untuk proses smelter, yang tersebar merata di wilayah Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, faktor perlipatan efektif (k-eff) Reaktor jenis PBMR daya 70 MWe mengalami kondisi kritis pada pengkayaan 5,626 % dengan nilai faktor perlipatan efektif 1,00031±0,00087 dan nilai koefisien reaktivitas suhu pada -10,0006 pcm/K. Dari hasil analisis daat disimpulkan bahwa reaktor jenis PBMR daya 70 MWe adalah aman.  ABSTRACT The core design of Nuclear Power Plant for Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (PBMR) type with 70 MWe capacity power in Beginning of Life (BOL) has been performed. The aim of this analysis, to know percent enrichment, temperature distribution and safety value by negative temperature coefficient at type PBMR if reactor power become lower equal to 70 MWe. This analysis was expected become one part of overview project development the power plant with 10.000 MWe of total capacity, spread evenly in territory of Indonesia especially to support of smelter industries. The results showed that, effective multiplication factor (keff) with power 70 MWe critical condition at enrichment 5,626 %is 1,00031±0,00087, based on enrichment result, a value of the temperature coefficient reactivity is - 10,0006 pcm/K. Based on the results of these studies, it can beconcluded that the PBMR 70 MWe design is theoritically safe.

Abstract

Abstract  There are three objectives to writing this article as follow, First is to know the background of the rise of Moghul Empire, Second to know growth and fall of the Moghul Empire, and the last several Moghul legacies such as in the aspect of politic, social, art, etc.The founding father of Moghul Empire is Kutbu’ddin Aibak (1206-1211), who was able to establish Independence Islamic Kingdom of India. There are several ruler: Sultan Akbar, Syah Jahan, dan Aurangzib. Sultan Akbar has reputation as the ruler who was able to maintain stability of the empire as well as to combine the Islamic and Hindus civilization. Meanwhile Syah Jahan inherit some relics, such as the famous Taj Mahal.Other ruler Aurangzib was to expand his empire. But the generation after Aurangzib fail to maintain unity of his empire and Moghul breakdown to several independence kingdom. The Sepoy Mutiny in 1857 is the end of Moghul Empire. British replace Moghul Empire and occupied whole India until 1947.Keywords: Moghul Empire, Moghul inheritance, India.

Abstract

Diskontinuitas saluran pada resonator silinder tipe-H sangat mempengaruhi perambatan gelombang akustik di dalamnya yang menimbulkan singularitas di ujung luas penampang resonator yang lebih kecil. Singularitas efek tepi ini memunculkan pola osilasi sehingga dapat mengurangi nilai koefisien transmisi akustik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan desain optimal resonator dan frekuensi resonansinya dengan mempertimbangkan pengaruh diskontinuitas saluran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah simulasi lewat metode matriks transmisi (MMT) dan optimasi menggunakan algoritma genetika (AG). Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah panjang buffer (l_buf )=48,8 mm, panjang resonator (l_res )=102,5 mm, jari-jari buffer (r_buf )=9,2 mm, dan jari-jari resonator (r_res )=2,9 mm, serta nilai frekuensi resonansi f=1610,6 Hz.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasikan profil lulusan Jurusan Pendidikan IPS tahun 2008-2010 dan relevansi kurikulum di Jurusan Pendidikan IPS UNY dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja. Profil lulusan meliputi masa tunggu lulusan, persen lulusan yang sudah bekerja, dan penghasilan pertama yang diperoleh. Metode penelitian Tracer Study ini dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Subjek penelitian adalah lulusan Jurusan Pendidikan IPS FIS UNY tahun 2008-2010 sebanyak 51 orang. Hasil pengumpulan data dengan teknik angket dan dokumentasi diperoleh balikan sejumlah 47 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan persentase kemudian dideskripsikan sebagai gambaran profil dari lulusan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 1. Profil lulusan Jurusan Pendidikan IPS tahun 2008-2009 sebagai berikut: a. sebanyak 63,8 persen lulusan sudah memperoleh pekerjaan kurang dari enam bulan, 36,2 persen lulusan memperoleh pekerjaan pertama lebih dari 6 bulan, b. Persentase lulusan yang sudah bekerja sebagai Guru yaitu 60 persen dan non Guru 28,4 persen, serta hanya 11, persen belum bekerja. c. Penghasilan pertama yang diperoleh sebanyak 52 persen kurang dari Rp 700.00,-, dan 47 persen lulusan antara Rp 751.000,00 – Rp 1000.000,00. 2. Relevansi kurikulum dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja diperoleh hasil sebanyak 78,95 persen lulusan merasa memiliki life skill untuk jenis pekerjaan yang sesuai latar pendidikan dan 78,79 persen lulusan menyatakan materi kuliah yang diberikan di Jurusan Pendidikan IPS sudah sesuai kebutuhan pekerjaan yang sesuai latar belakang pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran IPS terpadu yang berorientasi pada produk. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Darul Hikmah Pakem Sleman Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner/angket. Data yang diperoleh dari angket yang berupa data kuantitatif diolah dengan teknik analisis data kuantitatif. Pengolahan data kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran IPS untuk siswa SMP kelas VII dengan tema “Antara Borobudur dan Prambanan” dinyatakan baik sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan penilaian isi dan aspek kebahasaan oleh ahli materi dengan rerata skor masingmasing 3,5 dan 3,5 pada kategori “baik”, aspek tampilan dan pemprograman oleh ahli media masing-masing memiliki rerata skor 3,40 dan 3,00 pada kategori “cukup”. Hasil uji keterbacaan siswa terhadap media audio visual mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan skor terendah 3,0 pada kategori “cukup” dan skor tertinggi 4,3 pada kategori “sangat baik”.

Abstract

Investigation   of creation  of  ordered  parameter   distribution   on superconductor  material,  especially   cylinder form   has  been conducted. Distribution   of  ordered  parameter    inside  the  material   is  obtained  by applying  external  magnetic field  parallel  to the surface  of the material. When   the   external    magnetic   field    is   reduced    carefully,    ordered parameter  distribution  will create at a certain  value called He).The method  applied  to obtain the ordered parameter   distribution  isfinite element    method.    To  make   easy   in   computation    work,   be   applied FEMLAB    software.    The   software    works   under   MATLAB    running. Principles  of finite  element  method  have been covered  in FEMLABThe   result   of  the   numerical    simulation    show   in   line   between   the beginning   hypothesis   of researcher   and  computation   result.  Compared with previous  result, the result does not deviate significantly.

Abstract

In essence, humans do not only rely on natural activities. Historically, humans have used their minds to think according to the dynamics of the times. Therefore, in facing the world of education in the 21st century, the development of technology and communication is a necessity as a result of the phenomenon of the industrial revolution 4.0 which brings several consequences from the field of education, especially in history learning in high school. This article aims to determine the tangent to the phenomenological approach and its relevance to history learning in high school, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature study approach. Then in data collection, the authors collect and review a number of journals or literature that are still related to discussion topics such as phenomenology, history learning, and revolution 4.0. The result shows that there is relevance to the use of phenomenology as an approach in history learning as a method in spurring students' ability to think critically, creatively, and effectively towards developing phenomena by integrating technology into history learning as an effort to face revolution 4.0. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has revolutionized the field of education. Online learning is the right solution to replace in-person learning. Improvement and development of the online learning process are really needed to provide a meaningful learning experience for students. This study aimed to examine the implementation of online learning in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta/FIS UNY during the pandemic. The quantitative observational approach with a cross-sectional survey was employed with the qualitative method done in group discussions. The respondents were selected using proportional stratified random sampling on all study programs in FIS UNY. Data were collected through an online survey and limited interviews to investigate students’ and lecturers’ experiences of online learning more deeply. In FIS UNY, online learning was mostly conducted through online synchronous learning. Besides, online learning was done using a learning management system developed by the university (BeSmart). There were several factors that influenced the practice of online learning at the faculty, namely the availability of learning devices, speed and stability of internet connection, and conducive learning environment. As many as 25.6% of students had issues related to learning devices. Then, 66.9% of the students stated that they did not have a stable internet connection which caused problems during the learning process. At last, 62.79% of the students admitted that it was difficult to focus on the learning process because their learning environment was not conducive. Besides IT skills, students’ independence and learning motivation were the internal factors influencing the online learning process. Another issue related to online learning was the lack of responses and feedback from the lecturers on the activities done by the students.

Abstract

Globalization has numerous significant impacts that have an effect on people's lives. One of these impacts is the advancement of information and communication technology, which has many promising benefits, such as time efficiency, speedy delivery of information, transparency, and affordability. Technological advancements have infiltrated various sectors, including the government. In today's era of regional autonomy, it is essential to achieve good governance, which is balanced with the use of information and communication technology, commonly referred to as e-government. The use of technology and information indirectly encourages the adoption of electronic-based service systems (e-Services) in government institutions. The development of e-services is a media innovation that supports the provision of excellent services for the community, particularly in rural areas. Furthermore, the development of more varied service features such as letter submissions, complaint services, village information, and administrative procedures is expected to accelerate and facilitate access for service users more efficiently and transparently. Abstract

Physics learning aims to ensure that students understand physics concepts completely. Understanding of the concept can be achieved through the help of learning media in the form of teaching aids from physics materials. This research aims to develop learning media for measuring water discharge using a flow meter sensor to improve students' conceptual understanding of dynamic fluid material. This research includes development research through the ADDIE model, carried out until the development stage. Data collection techniques are carried out through the calibration of measuring instruments. The technique for data analysis used is the descriptive analysis of proportions. The study results obtained the following results: 1) The calibration results show that the water discharge measuring instrument as a learning medium has a very small error rate, and 2) The results of the validity assessment obtained by the water discharge measuring instrument have high validity. The water debit measuring instruments can be used to increase understanding of the dynamic fluid material concept. Using this air discharge measuring instrument will help students understand the concept of fluid dynamics, especially in air discharge subjects.
