Abstract

AbstrakKebisingan lalu lintas yang terus meningkat dapat mempengaruhi tingkat pendengaran manusia danpada waktu yang lama dapat merusak sistem pendengaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisisparameter-parameter yang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kebisingan sebagai informasi keefektifanparameter-parameter tersebut agar nantinya dapat memperbaiki redaman suara produk. Memberikaninformasi untuk digunakan sebagai pengembangan produk industri kecil menengah. Pengujiandilakukan untuk berbagai model knalpot produk industri kecil dalam negeri dan produk pabrikan . Halini dilakukan untuk membandingkan tingkat kebisingan produk dari beberapa industri kecil dan produkpabrikan yang ada. Kemudian dimensi knalpot tersebut akan di modifikasi pada bagian peredamsuaranya. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa volume knalpot berpengaruh terhadap kemapuanknalpot meredam kebisingan, semakin besar volume semakin besar kemampuan merdam suaranya.Jumlah ruangan di dalam knlpot mempengaruhi kemampuan knalpot untun meredam kebisingan,namun jumlah ruangan yang terlalu banyak akan mempengaruhi performa mesin, karena akanmenghambat kelancaran keluarnya gas buang.Kata kunci: knalpot, kebisingan, skala desibel, peredam.

Abstract

This study aims to change activities in the technical implementation of project-based learning in vocational education. Real-life learning activities packaged in project-based learning multimedia are believed to be able to foster student creativity. The technique of preparing learning multimedia is designed using the Instructional Successive Approximation Model (SAM I) because it is more flexible. Data collection techniques were obtained from a survey of multimedia learning needs analysis in pneumatic, hydraulic engineering (N=10), and cooling systems (N=10). The learning multimedia design was evaluated through content validity tests by experts totaling (N=4). The needs analysis results showed that most students did not use multimedia, and they used several methods to develop creativity into products, so multimedia was needed. The results of another study through the content validity test obtained learning multimedia evaluation data with an average score of the quality of learning design and quality of learning multimedia engineering (0.84) that met the "valid" aspect, so it can be concluded that this learning multimedia is suitable for implementing project-based learning in vocational education.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the snowball throwing learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the Basic subjects of the Motorcycle Engineering and Business Skills Program at Setia Budi Binjai Vocational School, and is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The learning model applied in this research is the snowball throwing type cooperative learning model. The subjects of this research were students in class X TBSM I SMKS Budi Binjai for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 30 students. The sample selection technique uses a purposive sampling technique, which selects subjects based on the researcher's subjective decision, while the variables observed are student activity and learning outcomes. The data collection technique in this research uses tests, namely pretest and posttest. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results showed that the application of the snowball throwing learning model could improve the learning outcomes of class Student learning outcomes increased by 0.43 from 0.27 (medium category) in the posttest in cycle I then increased by 0.70 (medium category) in the posttest in cycle II.

Abstract

Lathe machining jobsheet are designed to help students participate in practicum activities, make them a guide during practicum and increase time efficiency. This research was conducted to increase the effectiveness of students' lathe work on lathe machining jobsheets and to find out the feasibility of how the jobsheet was developed. This type of research is carried out using a research and development approach with the steps of Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. Jobsheet trials were conducted on three students majoring in machining, the results of the student trials assessed that the jobsheets developed were very feasible with a feasibility percentage of 92%. Due diligence by media experts is very feasible with a percentage of 92.5%. The feasibility test by material experts was considered very feasible with a percentage of 93.5%. Overall jobsheet eligibility is very feasible with an accumulated eligibility percentage of 92.88%.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pakan ternak ruminansia menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam mendukung produktivitas susu kambing perah, yang secara tidak langsung berkontribusi dalam dunia kesehatan sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting melalui pemenuhan gizi keluarga. Namun, mitra peternak di Desa Pasar Baru, Kecamatan Teluk Mengkudu, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai masih menghadapi kendala dalam proses pencampuran pakan secara manual yang memakan waktu lama dan menghasilkan pakan yang tidak homogen. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa mesin pencampur pakan serta pelatihan manajemen usaha. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendidikan, pelatihan, dan praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mitra mengalami peningkatan efisiensi kerja, dengan waktu pencampuran pakan yang berkurang signifikan, serta peningkatan homogenitas pakan yang berdampak positif terhadap kualitas dan kuantitas susu kambing. Selain itu, pelatihan pengemasan dan pemasaran turut mendukung penguatan aspek kewirausahaan mitra. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak nyata dan berkelanjutan dalam peningkatan produktivitas ternak serta ekonomi rumah tangga peternak.
