Abstract

Salah satu upaya Pemerintah Provinsi Riau dalam mendukung pemerintahan yang berjalan dengan basis teknologi adalah dengan melakukan reformasi birokrasi dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) sebagai penggerak roda pemerintahan. Namun, inkonsistensi dalam aturan pelaksanaan berdampak pemanfaatan TIK tidak menyeluruh hingga kabupaten/kotamadya. Oleh karena hal itu, dicanangkan sebuah Grand Design Riau Digital (GDRD). Salah satu aspek yang diperhatikan dalam kegiatan GDRD ini adalah Perencanaan Infrastruktur Teknologi Informasi. Dengan tujuan usulan Perencanaan Infrastruktur Teknologi Informasi yang dikaji dan dilakukan analisis ini dapat menjadi salah satu acuan dan rekomendasi maupun blueprint infrastruktur teknologi informasi di Provinsi Riau yang akan dikembangkan. Sesuai dengan tujuan akhir dari pelaksanaan kegiatan GDRD, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Performance, Information, Economics, Control and Security, Eficiency, Services (PIECES) untuk melakukan identifikasi permasalahan yang dilanjutkan dengan metode Framework for The Appication System Techniques (FAST) untuk menggali hubungan sebab-akibat dari permasalahan yang dihadapi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat berbagai solusi yang dapat diterakan untuk meminimalisir hingga menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi dalam kondisi infrastruktur di pemerintahan Provinsi Riau, sehingga kedepannya dapat menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Pekanbaru Teladan Insan School is an educational institution engaged in the service sector. In managing and recording the school finances, the treasurer makes use of spreadsheets and books in recording transactions that are classified as simple. The results of interviews with the school treasurer, financial records are still made manually and in finding the required transaction history data, the treasurer needs to look for the financial reports that have been archived, as a result the financial reports to be submitted to the head of the Foundation need to be corrected because there are errors in the calculations and the time for submitting financial statements takes 1-3 working days. The solution to the existing problems is to build an accounting information system that replaces the manual process. The “Website-Based Accounting Information System” for the Pekanbaru School of Exemplary People is designed to assist the school treasurer in handling the recording of routine transactions which include income, school expenses, and others. The results of transactions carried out by the treasurer will be directly evaluated by the head of the Foundation through the system. Based on the tests that have been done using the Test Case from Black Box Testing, the results are 100% by testing 44 items. The results of the test of accounting experts, namely PCR lecturer Fifitri Ali, S.S.T., M.Sc, that the system has met accounting standards in the service sector

Abstract

Computational thinking (CT) is basic competency that must be provided to Indonesia's young generation, through integration into curriculum or extracurriculars to face the information, industrial era 4.0 or society 5.0. SMP As Shofa Pekanbaru has computer extracurriculars, but the material is only Office. This school needs programming extracurricular coaching which can be mediafor training students' CT. Therefore, in this community service program, extracurricular programming training was carried out at SMP As Shofa, namedDunia Coding. This activity produced 2 textbooks. The implementation method is an offline workshop in 12 meetings 1x/week. The results obtained were that 73.9% of students agreed that the material provided was very appropriate to their needs, 82.6% of students agreed that the program was very useful, 80.4% of students agreed that the delivery of the material was very clear, interesting, and easy to understand, and 56.5% of students agreed that the implementation time was sufficient

Abstract

Politeknik Caltex Riau manages several scholarships whose funding sources can come from the government or private sector. The management of this scholarship scheme is done manually in the form of collecting files and recaps via Ms. Excel. In addition, the scholarship management process is carried out by an operator, namely the Head of Student Affairs, so it takes a long time to carry out the selection process until the announcement of scholarship recipients and has the potential for errors. The errors that occur include duplication of scholarship recipients, miscalculation of the scholarship funds submitted and inconsistency in writing data related to scholarship recipients. In fact, the presentation of information on scholarship recipients is absolutely needed as reporting material to related parties, such as reporting Scholarships to the Riau Provincial Government. Therefore, to assist the operator in managing scholarships, an information system was developed to manage Scholarships at Politeknik  Caltex Riau. In the development of this information system, it was built based on software development standards, namely the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with Waterfall Methodology. The scholarship management system was tested on the head of student affairs, executives and scholarship recipients. From the results of testing this information system, there were no errors and it could run well. In addition, in terms of system acceptance by users, it can be concluded that this system is acceptable and makes it easier to manage scholarships

Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrated data visualization dashboard that presents academic, scholarship, and tracer study information in real time at Politeknik Caltex Riau.(PCR). Data integration is carried out through an API Gateway within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), ensuring that updates from each data source can be displayed immediately on the dashboard. To support effective and intuitive data exploration, the study applies Shneiderman’s Information Seeking Mantra, which consists of three main stages: overview first, zoom and filter, and detailson-demand. The resulting dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of key institutional indicators, offers interactive filtering features, and allows users to access detailed information such as student profiles, scholarship recipients, and alumni employment data. Performance testing using Apache JMeter demonstrates that most endpoints achieve response times below 500 ms, supporting the system’s capability for real-time data presentation. The findings indicate that the dashboard improves data monitoring efficiency, facilitates cross-domain analysis, and supports institutional decision-making based on accurate and timely information. Future enhancements may include the integration of predictive analytics and a more extensive user experience evaluation.

Abstract

Waste management has become a global issue, encompassing various challenges such as the separation of organic and inorganic waste, waste collection scheduling, fee collection, and the accumulation of waste at final disposal sites (TPA). In Pekanbaru City, the waste management mechanism involves empowering Waste Collection Agencies (LPS) across 83 sub-districts. LPS is responsible for collecting household waste and transporting it to the TPA, as well as managing the waste collection fees paid by residents. Since the fee management process is still carried out manually, an information system is needed to manage resident data and monitor fee payments effectively. This study developed the SilepasPKU Waste Management Information System using the prototype method, featuring waste collection management and fee management modules. The system was tested through three iterations with LPS UmbanSari users: the first iteration focused on design testing, while the second tested system functionality. Several improvements were made based on user feedback. In the third iteration, all system functionalities operated successfully. Currently, SilepasPKU is being used by LPS UmbanSari in their waste management operations

Abstract

provide students with a basic understanding of user interface (UI) design and user experience (UX). The background to this activity is the importance of UI/UX skills in the increasingly developing digital world of work, especially for vocational school students who are prepared to go straight into industry. The methods used include providing theoretical material through presentations, demonstrations of the use of Figma tools, as well as direct practice by students. Design and development activities involve gradual teaching, starting from an introduction to basic UI/UX concepts, an introduction to the Figma interface, to the practice of making simple prototypes. Testing is carried out through evaluating students' work to improve the quality of their understanding and skills. The conclusion of this activity shows that students can understand and apply basic UI/UX concepts using Figma tools, and are able to produce creative and functional prototype designs. This program can improve students' competence in the field of digital design and prepare them for challenges in the world of work.
