Abstract

Abstract: The problem this research is the students achievement of social studies IV SD N 022 Sintong fourth graderes still low with an average value of 58.00 and minimum completenness criteria (KKM) social studiesis 70. Between students, amounting to 20 people only 8 students who achieve classical KKM with 40%. This research is classroom action research (CAR), which aims to improve the student achievement of social studies class IV at SD N 022 Sintong with implementation cooperative learning model type Berkirim Salam . Formulation of the problem : is the implementation of cooperative learning model type Berkirim Salam can improve students achievement of social studies at SD N 022 Sintong. The research was conducted on February 2, 2016 ‘to February 18, 2016 by 2 cycles. Subjects werw students of SD N 022 Sintong, totaling 20 people who use the data source. The data collection instruments in this thesis is a teacher and students activities sheets and students achievement. This thesis presents the results obtained each day before the action an improve in base score cycle with the average being 58.00. In the first cycle improve an average of 75.50 and an improve in the second with an average 82.50. Activities of the teacher in the learning process in cycle of 66.67% and the second meeting improve to 77.78%. Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work motivationof teacher on teacher performance on SMP Negeri 6 Pekanbaru. The population in thisstudy all teacher in the SMP Negeri 6 Pekanbaru, with a sample of 30 people. The dataused in this study is primary data. Primary data were obtained from the respondentsanswer. Analysis of the data used is simple linear regression analysis with significancelevel of 5%. Data processing is done with the help of SPSS software version 17.0 From theresults of research on regression analysis result obtained Y = 38.019 + 0.182X whichmeans teacher performance is influenced by the work motivation of teacher. While the testis based on the t value obtained t count > t table (11.383 > 1.697) or the Sig. 0.000 < 0.05,means that the hypothesis is accepted means that work motivation of teacher has significantinfluence on teacher performance. Coefficient of determination obtained is 82,22 %. While17,8% is influenced by other variables not known.Key words : Work Motivation of Teacher , Teacher Performance

Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Bangko Bagansiapiapi Rokan Hilir Regency. The goal is to determine the effect of school library utilization on student achievement. The population in this research is 289 students and the sample is the students of class X and XI IPS of 74 students taken with Proportionate Random Sampling technique. Data collection technique is done through questionnaires and documentation techniques. Further data were analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results showed that the variable utilization of school libraries have an effect on student achievement variable with significance 0,001. To improve the learning achievement, students should improve the utilization of school libraries. For schools, to improve the use of school libraries need to add library materials such as reference books, enrichment books, journals, and textbooks so that learners can find a source of reference.Keywords: School Library Utilization, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: Receivables arise because of the system of credit sales. Accounts receivable is an asset that is quite material. Therefore, it is necessary that an effective management of accounts receivable and efficiently so that the amount of funds invested in the accounts in accordance with the level of ability of the company so as not to interrupt the flow of cash. In the end, receivables management implemented the company will look at financial ratios pertaining to receivables acquired. PT Suzuki Finance Indonesia (SFI) Pekanbaru is a leasing company engaged in official financing for the brand Suzuki motorcycle. This study aims to measure how effective the company in managing its resources. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis method, to get a clearer picture and detailed based on the data and information obtained. The data used is secondary data, sales data of credit, consumer finance data and the data of bad debts of the company. The results showed PT Suzuki Finance Indonesia (SFI) Pekanbaru is still not optimal in managing its accounts receivable. PT SFI Branch Pekanbaru should make improvements or changes to the strategy in collecting accounts receivable in order to collect the receivable is less than the maturity and reduce the amount of bad debts of the company. Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to find out : influence of brand image and family financial ability on student’s decision to enroll into economic education major in riau university do simultaneously and partial. The population is all college students years entry 2014 and 2015 Saber totaling 195 college students with a sample of 66 college students. Based on the results of data analysis simultaneously is concluded that in mind the significant value on the table coeffisients 0,000 less than the critical value of 0.05. Then obtained this result shows that the brand image and family financialability significantly affects student’s decision in to enroll into economic education major in riau university the years entry 2014 and 2015. Based on the regression coefficient if Brand Image increased by 1%, the student’s decision will also increase by 0339 or 33.9%, and if family fiancial ability increased by 1%, the student’s decision will also increase by 0.12 or 12%, Coefficient is positive, it means there is a positive relationship between the brand image and family financial ability with student’s decision, the rise brand image and famility financial ability then the ride anyway student’s decision. Judging from R Square of 0.,481 this shows that the independent variables used in this study could affect the dependent variable by 48, 1%.Key Word : student’s decision,brand image, family financial ability.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this study was the low student motivation can be seen from the symptoms seen in the fourth grade students are not really in learning, do not want to ask, playing time teacher explains, and would not answer any questions. This study aims to increase the motivation to learn in social studies class IV in SDN 022 Sintong Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir through the application of methods Picture and Picture. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in four cycles consisting of stages of action planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Each cycle consists of once meetings. The instrument pengumupulan activity observation sheet data that teachers, students, and motivation to learn. Based on the results, it can be concluded that: 1) Activities of teachers increased from the first cycle to the fourth cycle, it can be seen from the observation, in the first cycle teachers only earn a percentage 60.71%, and increased in the second cycle to 75%. In the third cycle teacher activity increased with the acquisition of the percentage of 92.86% and the increase in cycle IV with a percentage of 100%, 2) Activities of students increased from the first cycle to cycle IV, it can be seen from the observation, in the first cycle of student activity in the classical earn a percentage 50.0% increase in cycle II to 62.86%, the third cycle student activity increased with the acquisition of 77.14% and return increased with the acquisition of the percentage reached 86.67%, 3) students' motivation can be increased by perapan method Picture and Picture from the first cycle to cycle IV, it can be seen from the observation, in the first cycle of students' motivation in the classical obtain the percentage of 42.8% to 60.6 in the second cycle, the third cycle student motivation increases with the acquisition of an average percentage of 72.8% to 83.33% in cycle IV, and 4) the success was achieved dapai influenced by the use of methods Picture and Picture, student activities to become more active, which means students tend to be positive in the learning process given by the teacher.Key Words: Students Motivation, Social Subject, Picture and Picture Method

Abstract

Abstract: This study conducted at the University of Riau FKIP Economic Education with the aim to determine the effect of social and economic background of parents of student interest in entrepreneurship FKIP economy education University of Riau. The population in this study were 127 students and sampling techniques in this study using purposive random sampling by Slovin formula that results in 56 samples. Data was collected through questionnaire techniques while data types and sources of primary data and secondary data. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis, regression coefficient sececara simultaneous test (F test), partial regression coefficient test (t test), and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results showed that the variables of social and economic background of parents simultaneously affect student interest in entrepreneurship. Based on the partial test, social background variables parents in terms of parental education has a greater influence than the student interest in entrepreneurship for economic background variables in terms of parents' income level. It can be seen from the regression coefficient of 0.357373 social background variables while the economic background of 0.000003 to the value of determination coefficient of 0.455. What this means is that the contribution of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is equal to 45.5%. While the remaining 54.5% is determined by other variables such as the effect of the internal factors that come from within ourselves and others that are not investigated.Keywords: Social Background Parent, Economic Background Parents' Interest In Entrepreneurship

Abstract

Aktivitas belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Riaudalamperkuliahan Pendidikan IPSyang hanya memaparkan konsep-konsep dan contohserta tanya jawab, ternyata masih sangat rendah. Tanya jawab untuk mengungkapmasalah-masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hariyang terkait dengan pendidikan IPShanya didominasi oleh sebagian kecil mahasiswa. Untuk itu perlu metodepembelajaran inkuiri agar mahasiswa aktif dalam kegiatan belajarnya dan mampumengembangkan kemampuan sosialnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmemperbaiki proses perkuliahan Pendidikan IPS agar aktivitas belajar mahasiswaPendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Riau dapat meningkat.Penelitian inimerupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menerapkan metode inkuiri dalamperkuliahan Pendidikan IPSdi Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP UniversitasRiausemester genap tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Jumlah mahasiswa dalam kelas iniada 36 orang yang terdiri 5 (lima) orang laki-laki dan 31 orang perempuan.Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaadapeningkatan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa secara signifikan dari sebelumpelaksanaan tindakan yang tergolong rendah menjadi kategori cukuppada siklus Idan meningkat menjadi kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi pada siklus II. Peningkatanaktivitas belajar mahasiswa seiring dengan peningkatan kegiatan dosen yang padaperkuliahan sebelum tindakan hanya ada tujuh unsur kegiatan, sedangkan padasiklus I mengalami peningkatan menjadi 11 kegiatan dengan kategori cukup, danpada siklus II meningkat menjadi kategori baik.Kata Kunci: metode inkuiri, aktivitas belajar, pendidikan ips.

Abstract

Sekolah sebagai organisasi yang memiliki tujuan mengembangkan potensi diripeserta didik melalui proses pembelajaran, tentu sangat terkait dengan organisasipembelajar dan bahkan menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Karena dalam organisasipembelajar sangat berkepentingan dengan manajemen pengetahuan maka sekolahseharusnya menyelenggarakan manajemen pengetahuan agar potensi diri pesertadidiknya dapat dikembangkan secara optimal dan bermanfaat bagi diri peserta didik,masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara, sehingga mutu sekolah dapat diakui masyarakat.Organisasi pembelajar dengan menerapkan manajemen pengetahuan akan sangatpotensial untuk dapat membawa kemajuan organisasi sekolah. Penerapanmanajemen pengetahuan di sekolah perlu dilakukan sebagai pelengkap danpengintegrasian dari manajemen berbasis sekolah yang sekarang ini masihterpisah-pisah dalam masing-masing manajemen komponen sekolah. Adanyamanajemen pengetahuan, informasi dan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari masing-masing manajemen komponen sekolah dapat dihimpun, dibagikan, dandimanfaatkan oleh seluruh individu sekolah. Bila sekolah dapat menerapkanmanejemen pengetahuan, akan mendorong munculnya budaya knowledge sharingdan learning habit yang melibatkan seluruh personel di dalam sekolah, baik kepalasekolah itu sendiri, guru, maupun murid. Adanya budaya tersebut akanmeningkatkan pengetahuan masing-masing yang kemudian akan menjadipengetahuan orang lain bahkan organisasi, sehingga semua pihak menjadi lebihkompeten. Lebih kompetennya semua pihak pada akhirnya menjadikan mutusekolah menjadi meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction in teaching andlearning in Teacher Training and Education Economics Education Studies ProgramUniversity of Riau. In addition to knowing which variables to give satisfaction to thestudent and the strategic implications of research results in order to increase studentsatisfaction in the future? In this study the respondents are 90 students forEconomic Education based quotas layered random method from each stratum /force taken the same amount as the sample that is force 2007.2008, and 2009.While the determination of the respondents use the lottery (random). Methods ofdata collection in this study using questionnaire and analytical techniques used toprocess the data is the technique of importance-performance analysis (Importance-Performance Analysis).The results showed that the level of student satisfaction FKIPEconomics Education Studies Program University of Riau as a whole includingclassification quite satisfied. This is reflected by the analysis match between thelevel of implementation of learning by the faculty with the level of student interestyield of 68.88%. Of 35 variables analyzed then there are 12 (twelve) variables thathave not been giving satisfaction and 18 (eighteen) variable is already showingsatisfaction. Strategic implications of research results to improve student satisfactionis to give priority to the variables that according to the student to have such highinterest rates, the schedule of consultations provided by the Economics EducationStudies Program faculty, lecturers return answer sheets UTS values and UAS,lecturer announces exam results timely, and professors pay attention to theprogress of students, lecturers understand the learning difficulties faced by students,and faculty foster student interest and enthusiasm in learning. Variables that havegiven such satisfaction, a lecturer at the first lecture describes the topics that matterwill be studied for one semester, a lecturer at the first lecture describes the contractteruberkaitan lecture about lecturing system, materials, perunjukan or reference,rules and forms of job evaluation systems, lecturers over matter courses, lecturersare able to explain properly, the assessment standards provided by the lecturers,lecturers use the media / learning aids that fit and attractive (sepert OHP, using theLCD, film, or images, etc.), and lecturer use language and how to communicate aclear, attractive, easily understood, and good and right.
