<![CDATA[Quality education is always desired by the community, the quality of education in Indonesia is characterized by the achievement of the National Education Standards (SNP) or exceeding the SNP. One factor that determines the quality of education is the implementation of quality learning as well, quality learning is only produced by qualified teachers. The competency standards that must be possessed by teachers are pedagogic, personality, social and professional competencies. Teacher competency improvement needs to be improved along with the rapid development of science and technology, so that through quality learning can prepare graduates who are ready to face life in their day. To prepare qualified teachers cannot be separated from the principal's role as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator. In Permendikbud 15 of 2018 the Principal's Workload is entirely to carry out tasks: managerial, entrepreneurship development and supervision to Teachers and education staff. One of the principal tasks of the principal is to supervise teachers in order to prepare quality learning. This study wants to discuss the Principal's Strategic Role in Improving Learning Quality through Academic Supervision Activities.]]>

<![CDATA[Schools generally prepare class XII students to continue their studies at the higher education level, both official and non-official, this is done because almost 90% more high school students choose to continue their studies in higher education. In general, students take two selection courses at tertiary institutions, namely the national selection of state tertiary institutions (SNMPTN) and the joint selection of state tertiary institutions (SBMPTN). Both of these selections require intense preparation and guidance by the school conducted by the homeroom teacher and tutor. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the optimization of career services can improve the success of students who are accepted into state universities. This study uses qualitative methods, namely research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or oral words from people or observable behavior. The study was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. In this study the source of the data obtained from interviews and observations to counseling guidance teachers, vice principals in the field of student affairs, public relations and school principals. Research data uses alumni data from Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo High School from the 2015-2016 academic year until 2019 - 2020. Guidance and counseling have a very important role in helping the achievement of national education goals, and helping students achieve maximum potential development, independence in their lives, and decision making and choices to create a productive, prosperous and caring public welfare life.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses the effectiveness of English Diction election by Headmaster in Managing Institutions of Islam. Language consists of several ranks grammatical include words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. The word is the lowest level and the sentence is the highest level. When you write, the word is a key element in the effort to write. Therefore, a number of words in Indonesian should be well understood, so that one's ideas and messages can be easily understood. Thus, the words used to communicate to be understood in the context of the paragraph and discourse. The word as an element of the language, can not be used arbitrarily. However, these words should be used by following the correct rules. This Pnelitian use This research is qualitative descriptive study which is expected to reveal a variety of information-description rigorous analysis and meaningful. Sources of data in this research include the principals of this research study ju analysis pusataka research is to investigate the theory of structuralism and Derrida Jacquest dekonstruktifisme. Data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation and study the literature. Adapaun data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and analysis of data. The results of such research are (a) the selection of appropriate language diction will lead to a successful school leadership to manage and develop the advanced study lead.]]>

<![CDATA[The success of Islamic boarding schools in producing quality graduates, one of which is related to the quality standards set. One of the quality indicators is the ownership of the Islamic Boarding School's Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) document. The purpose of this community service is to socialize the importance of SPMI for the An-nur Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school, Sidoarjo. This school is relatively new, but has a vision of becoming a quality Islamic boarding school. Meanwhile, the stakeholders, both mudir, asatidz-asatidzah council, and their education staff do not yet have an understanding of the importance of SPMI for institutions, and do not yet have an SPMI. The service method used is to provide assistance and training in the preparation of the SPMI instrument which consists of 8 criteria. As a result, all stakeholders of An-Nur Islamic boarding school understand the importance of SPMI and the formation of the SPMI organization. In addition, partners are able to develop SPMI instruments independently and can implement them in order to achieve the expected quality of Islamic boarding schools]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the means of worship supporting Islamic religious education in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects used a purposive sampling technique: the principal, Islamic Religious Education teacher and six grade X students. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the means of worship at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo still use the same mosque as the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The facilities for worship are quite complete and are used as a place for teaching and learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects such as practice in schools and mentoring activities. Facilities of worship can support Islamic religious education so that it can facilitate students in exploring and developing the potential of faith, so that later they will not only know and understand, but can implement religious knowledge and faith, and can also live side by side with adherents and adherents of other religions. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the role of the mosque as a means of Islamic education can be a barometer in the symbols of Islam, and Ukhuwah Islaminyah, namely the application of the role of mosques in carrying out religious activities and programs inclusively.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to add scientific references about the concept of Islamization of Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi's perspective of science and its relevance to the Islamic education curriculum, so that later if anyone looks for references on the concept of Islamization of Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi's perspective of science, there can be more, thus can make it easier for readers. The type of research used is library research where the data is obtained from the literature using a philosophical approach. The results of the study found that Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi's concept of Islamization of science is with 12 active steps so that it is hoped that there will be no dichotomy. And the relevance of Ismail Raji al-Faruqi's thoughts for the Islamic education curriculum can be seen in three meaningful points which are philosophically stated so that there is relevance for the quality of the Islamic education curriculum.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine, understand, and describe the motivation of students to choose Islamic boarding schools as a means of forming Islamic character and the most dominant motivational factors for students in Sungon Hamlet. This type of research is qualitative using a naturalistic approach. Sources of data obtained are primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. While the technique of data analysis and interpretation by means of data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study reveal that students choose Islamic boarding schools as a means of forming Islamic character because they get encouragement from their parents. In addition, there is self-motivation. Because every parent wants a child who has noble character, is good at the Koran, avoids negative actions and is able to know the teachings of Islam widely. Factors that motivate students to choose Islamic boarding schools as a means of character building are dominated by external factors. The factors that encourage students to choose Islamic boarding schools are factors from their parents and factors that grow from within themselves. So, it can be concluded that the factor that encourages students to continue their education in Islamic boarding schools and aims to build their character is that the majority of the encouragement comes from their parents.]]>

<![CDATA[Aqidah Akhlak is a course that must be attended by PAI students because they will become teachers who will teach this course. The Aqidah Akhlak teacher requires the ability of "information literacy" in the themes that are taught. In this study, the writer will implement the REAP strategy in The Aqidah Akhlak subject to improve the information literacy ability of college students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) and the subject of research is a PAI UMSIDA student. This research was conducted in several stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection is done by observation, field notes, interviews, tests, and documentation. After conducting classroom action research on the Aqidah Akhlak course, the results obtained in the Pre-Assessment averaged 50.5, then increased in the Post-Assessment an average of 86.7. Improvement in each cycle is followed by an increase in students' ability to browse the literature appropriately and use it in argumentation, increased activity in discussions, and increased task completion. Based on these results it can be concluded that the implementation of REAP strategy can improve students' information literacy abilities.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru PAI dalam program bimbingan konseling perkembangan. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka (library research), yaitu dalam menggabungkan data memerlukan pemahaman yang mendalam dan harus mempelajari isi dari berbagai sumber yang berhubungan dengan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran guru PAI dalam program bimbingan konseling perkembangan yaitu selain mengajar di kelas juga berperan untuk membimbing, memotivasi, menasihati, dan berperan menjadi konselor untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang di alami oleh siswa. Pada bimbingan dan konseling perkembangan ini tidak berfokus pada permasalahan saja, tetapi juga mengupayakan pada perkembangan tertentu contohnya seperti meningkatkan potensi, memilih cita-cita, merancang masa depan, mengembangkan diri untuk menentukan pekerjaan sesuai dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, guru PAI diharapkan dapat menjadi teladan yang baik untuk para peserta didiknya. Karena setiap apa yang dilakukan oleh guru dapat ditiru oleh siswa.
