Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran, peningkatan kemampuan argumentasi dan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan model Think Talk Write. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Pre-experimental dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari satu kelas berjumlah 30 siswa yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Plus Al-Hasan Banjarsari. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan argumentasi siswa dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,64 kategori sedang. Adapun keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada aktivitas guru dan siswa diperoleh masing-masing nilai rata-rata sebesar 86,66% dan 85,48% kategori sangat baik. Respon siswa dalam pembelajaran diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 82,13% kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Think Talk Write dalam pembelajaran dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa pada materi sistem respirasi manusia.Kata kunci: model Think Talk Write, kemampuan argumentasi, sistem respirasi

Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan proses yang sangat penting bagi manusia. Dalam pelaksanaanya dikelas, model kooperatif NHT berbantu question box merupakan salah satu opsi untuk mengoptimalkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model kooperatif NHT berbantu question box pada materi sel. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan memakai desain pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai signifikasi dari uji hipotesis Mann Whitney ialah <0.001< 0.05 maka H1 diterima, dan hasil uji effect size (Cohen’s D) memiliki nilai 1.217248 dengan interpretasi besar. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model kooperatif NHT berbantu question box memiliki perngaruh besar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sel.

Abstract

The problems that arise in class X MIA SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Ambawang related to the learning process have not carried out practicum activities due to limited facilities and infrastructure at school. This study aims to develop Electrolyte Box media on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution materials that are valid, practical and effective. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE model. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 27 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Ambawang. Validity is measured from the validator's assessment using the validation sheet, practicality is measured from the learner response questionnaire, then effectiveness is measured based on the pretest and posttest results of students. The data analysis technique is descriptive statistics. The results of the validity of the material and media aspects of the Electorlyte Box are 0.83 (very valid) and 0.79 (valid), respectively. The practicality test results in the initial and main field trials obtained very practical criteria with a value of 98.43% and 96.30% respectively. The effectiveness aspect in the initial and main field trials was 0.73 and 0.71 with high criteria. Therefore, the learning media in high school that has been developed is suitable for use as learning media.

Abstract

The teaching media that a teacher uses can have an impact on the comprehension and memory of the students. Chemical bonding material is one of the learning resources that educators are encouraged to employ to assist and promote more creative, engaging, and enjoyable learning experiences. Chemistry Edutainment media is one type of educational resource that can be employed. This study attempts to characterize student learning retention following chemistry lessons using chemistry edutainment on chemical bond material for class X MAN 3 Pontianak, as well as to ascertain the validity, practicality, and efficacy of chemistry edutainment media. The methods of measurement, observation, and interviewing are employed in the data collection process. Student learning outcomes assessments, observation sheets, and interview sheets were the instruments utilized to collect the data. The study employs the ADDIE method, yielding validation rates of 93.3% for the material aspect and 90.6% for the media aspect. These percentages denote a high level of validity. The practicality percentages, derived from the initial and main field trial questionnaire responses, are 87.17% and 94.03%, respectively, indicating a high degree of practicality. Moreover, the effectiveness analysis, based on the learning outcomes following the use of Chemistry Edutainment media, resulted in N-Gain scores of 0.92 and 0.71 for the initial and main field trials, respectively, meeting the high effectiveness criteria. The retention percentages obtained in the initial and main field trials are 75% and 89.97%, respectively, which meet the high retention criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on increasing Self-Esteem and student learning outcomes in the excretory system material. In this study, there are two types of variables used. First, the independent variable is the level of student self-esteem, and the dependent variable is the learning outcomes of students. The study was conducted at MTS Al-Misbah located at Jalan Desa Cipadung No.22, Cibiru District, Bandung City, West Java. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTS Al-Misbah consisting of two classes, namely class VIII A and VIII B with a total of 73 students. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The learning outcomes of students using the PBL model produced an N-gain of 0.7 with a high category. In addition, the results of self-esteem after using the PBL model got a high category, this proves that the learning model can affect the level of student self-esteem. The application of PBL in an effort to improve students' self-esteem is one solution where with this model students are more involved in the learning process so that it can improve students' self-esteem and learning outcomes. So, from the two hypothesis tests it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PBL learning model on improving students' Self-Esteem and learning outcomes in the excretory system material.

Abstract

Natural Chemistry Learning Resources in the form of PowerPoints, scientific journals and books have not accommodated the needs of students. This research aims to provide natural chemical supplement books on the Premna genus as a source of antimicrobial metabolites that are feasible to use based on aspects of validity and practicality. The development model utilized in this study is the Dick and Carey model which includes: identifying learning objectives, analyzing learning, analyzing learners and contexts, formulating specific learning goals, developing assessment instruments, developing learning strategies, developing and selecting teaching materials, designing and developing formative evaluation, and revising the product. The researcher applied research techniques in the form of interviews and observations. The tools used in this research were interview guidelines, student and lecturer response questionnaires, and practice questions in groups. Based on the results of the assessment by material experts and media specialists, this teaching material has a validity value of 91.6% and the practicality of individual trials is 84.51% and small group trials are 76.39%.ABSTRAKPembelajaran Kimia Bahan Alam terdapat sumber belajar berupa powerpoint, jurnal ilmiah dan buku belum mengakomodir kebutuhan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Buku suplemen Kimia Bahan Alam Pada Tanaman Genus Premna Sebagai Sumber Metabolit Antimikroba yang layak digunakan berdasarkan aspek kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Dick and Carey meliputi: mengidentifikasi tujuan pembelajaran, melakukan analisis pembelajaran, menganalisis pembelajar dan konteks, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran khusus, mengembangkan instrumen penilaian, mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran, mengembangkan dan memilih bahan ajar, merancang dan mengembangkan evaluasi formatif, dan melakukan revisi produk. Teknik yang digunakan meliputi wawancara dan observasi. Alat yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, angket respon mahasiswa dan dosen serta soal latihan dalam kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh ahli materi dan ahli media memiliki nilai kevalidan sebesar 91,6% dan kepraktisan uji coba perorangan sebesar 84,51% serta uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 76,39%.Kata Kunci: Antimikroba, Buku suplemen, Dick and Carey, Tanaman Genus Premna.

Abstract

Worksheets can be used as a solution to the success of the practicum process. This study aimed to analyze students' creative thinking skills through worksheets of microbial growth rates on nata de whey kefir. The method used in this research was a Pre-Experimental Design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research was the sixth-semester Biology Education Study Program students. The research sample consisted of a class of 21 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of description questions containing indicators of creative thinking. The results of the research data analysis obtained an average N-gain for each indicator of creative thinking skills of 0.461, which was included in the "medium" criteria. Test the data hypothesis using the T-paired test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Therefore, H0 was rejected, and H1 was accepted. Based on the research results obtained, data showed that there was an increase in students' creative thinking skills through worksheets on the rate of microbial growth in nata de whey kefir.ABSTRAK: Lembar kerja dapat digunakan sebagai solusi dalam keberhasilan proses praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa melalui lembar laju pertumbuhan mikroba pada nata de whey kefir. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VI Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi. Sampel penelitian menggunakan satu kelas yang berjumlah 21 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari soal uraian yang memuat indikator berpikir kreatif. Hasil analisis data penelitian diperoleh rata-rata N-gain dari setiap indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif sebesar 0,461 termasuk pada kriteria “sedang”. Data uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan Uji T-paired diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpokir kreatif mahasiswa melalui lembar kerja laju pertumbuhan mikroba pada nata de whey kefir.

Abstract

Peat water in Indonesia, abundant in swamp regions, is acidic and rich in humic substances and Fe²⁺ ions, making it unsuitable for direct use. This study explores a sustainable approach to treating peat water using hydrogel synthesized from durian rind (Durio zibethinus), an agricultural waste rich in cellulose. Cellulose was extracted via alkali and bleaching treatment, then crosslinked with chitosan in a NaOH/urea solvent system to form a biodegradable, porous hydrogel. The hydrogel exhibited a swelling ratio of 857% and a gel content of 98.23%, indicating high hydrophilicity and network integrity. Adsorption experiments demonstrated removal efficiencies of 98.96% for methylene blue and 25% for Fe²⁺. The high dye removal at low concentrations suggests strong interaction between hydrogel functional groups (–OH, –NH₂) and organic molecules, while Fe²⁺ removal was attributed to electrostatic interaction and potential chelation. Adsorption followed pseudo-second-order kinetics, indicating chemisorption as the rate-limiting step. These results suggest that durian rind hydrogel is a promising low-cost material for organic and inorganic pollutant removal in acidic water systems. This study highlights the potential of agro-waste valorization in developing eco-friendly materials for water purification.
