Abstract

This research was conducted to develop software defect prediction using a dataset from Bisnissyariah, a forum website with up-to-date news related to Islamic business. The study employed a straightforward research design to ensure easy comprehension for the readers. Machine learning models, including Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, and Support Vector Machine, were utilized in this research—the application of these models aimed to evaluate and compare the accuracy of software defect predictions. The research findings indicated that the Random Forest model outperformed the others, achieving an accuracy rate of 96.7%. This result shows the high effectiveness of the Random Forest model in predicting software defects based on data from Bisnissyariah. In addition, these findings significantly impact the development of more reliable and high-quality software, particularly in Islamic business. This research makes a valuable contribution to enhancing our understanding of software defect prediction using data from sources like Bisnissyariah.

Abstract

Pohon pinang (Areca catechu L.) merupakan jenis tanaman tropis yang memiliki nilai ekonomi cukup tinggi. Selain buahnya yang sering dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku minyak atau bahan campuran tradisional, bagian pelepahnya juga menyimpan potensi sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan produk ramah lingkungan, khususnya kemasan makanan. Dalam upaya mendukung program pengurangan penggunaan plastik sekali pakai, pelepah pinang menjadi alternatif bahan biodegradable yang menarik untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisa mesin hot press pelepah pinang dengan penambahan heater element pada plat atas dan plat bawah, serta kontrol yang telah menggunakan PID Controller dan sensor thermocouple untuk mengukur temperatur. Untuk menentukan suhu optimal, digunakan sensor termokopel yang memungkinkan pemantauan suhu secara real-time. Selanjutnya, suhu dikendalikan secara otomatis menggunakan sistem kontrol PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative), yang mampu menjaga kestabilan suhu selama proses berlangsung. Pengepresan dilakukan pada variasi suhu 80°C hingga 120°C. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pada rentang suhu tersebut, diperoleh produk cetakan dengan bentuk yang presisi dan tekstur yang sesuai standar kemasan makanan. Implementasi sistem ini juga mendukung efisiensi energi dan kestabilan kualitas produksi.

Abstract

Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) is a widely employed technique in power converter circuits. Given the prevalence of power converters in industrial settings, there is a need for a straightforward and efficient communication method among devices, such as the Modbus protocol. This study focuses on developing and simulating a multichannel PWM architecture integrated with Modbus modules. The objective is to create a multichannel PWM architecture with a Modbus module suitable for implementation on FPGA devices. The findings indicate that the architecture successfully facilitates the transmission and reception of Modbus frame data from the Modbus master. Data transmitted by the Modbus Master is utilized for reading or writing registers within the architecture, employing standard function codes such as 0x30, 0x04, 0x06, and 0x10. One of these functions serves to modify the duty value of the four PWM channels.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi semakin berkembang dengan pesat. Tak terkecuali dalam dunia industri, teknologi informasi dapat dimanfaatkan dalam segala bagaia. PT. Maruhide Indonesia merupakah salah satu perusahaan otomotif yang sedang berkembang dibidang sparepart mobil. Pengelolaan inventory dalam perusahaan tersebut sebelumnya masih menggunakan aplikasi microsoft excel. Hal tersebut membuat kegiatan operasional perusahaan kurang efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk merancang aplikasi pengolahan data yang efisien, tepat sasaran dan mempermudah user dalam menggunakan aplikasi tersebut. Sehingga dapat mempermudah kinerja dibagian produksi maupun sistem inventory PT. Maruhide Indonesia. Rancang Bangun Sistem Inventory secara langsung membantu semua proses kerja yang berhubungan dengan data masuk maupun data keluar barang yang sebelumnya menggunakan data file berupa excel kemudian beralih menggunakan media aplikasi yang lebih terstruktur.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has given rise to innovations and new ways of solving problems. One of them is measuring the situation of surface coal mines. So far, measurements have been made using a Laser Scanner. However, now the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) can replace it by considering the aspects of work safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in the field. This study analyzes the influence of the distribution of Ground Control Points (GCP). It compares the measurement method using a Laser Scanner with a UAV in a surface coal mine situation. In addition, this study aims to determine the exact parameters regarding the distribution and number of control points in using UAVs to measure surface coal mining situations. The results showed that the UAV could be used to measure the situation of surface coal with the results of the acquisition parameter research following the 1:1000 PERBIG scale tolerance map, with a tolerance value of <10 cm and the volume difference between the Laser Scanner and UAV is 0.131%. Regarding time analysis and work safety, measurements using UAVs can measure surface mining situations for ± 40 minutes. In addition, personnel do not need to approach the measurement object, so it is better than measurements using a Laser Scanner.

Abstract

Gempa bumi 28 September 2018 yang mengguncang Kota Palu dan sekitarnya dengan kekuatan 7,4 MW memicu terjadinya likuifaksi di beberapa lokasi, salah satunya adalah di sebagian wilayah Petobo. Likuifaksi yang terjadi di daaerah ini mengakibatkan pergeseran tanah yang masif sehingga menimbulkan kerugian material dan korban jiwa.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik tanah terdampak dan tidak terdampak likuifaksi berdasarkan uji Swedish Weight Sounding pada Kelurahan Petobo. Pengujian lapangan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan alat uji Swedish Weight Sounding. Adapun pengujian laboratorium yang dilakukan meliputi pengujian Analisa saringan dan batas-batas Atterberg. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini meliputi hasil pengujian laboratorium dan pengujian di lapangan. Untuk hasil pengujian di laboratorium, jenis tanah yang didapat pada lokasi tersebut yaitu CL dan CL-ML. Sedangkan untuk hasil pengujian lapangan, nilai Nsw di daerah tidak terdampak berkisar antara 0-250 n/m, nilai Nsw untuk daerah terdampak berkisar antara 8-72 n/m, nilai qa di daerah tidak terdampak berkisar antara 0-230 kN/m2, nilai qa untuk daerah terdampak berkisar antara 0-167,6 kN/m2,  nilai qu untuk daerah tidak terdampak berkisar antara 30-180 kN/m2, dan nilai qu untuk daerah terdampak berkisar antara 30-133,2 kN/m2.Kata Kunci : Tidak terdampak likuifaksi, terdampak likuifaksi, Swedish Weight Sounding, Likuifaksi

Abstract

Lapisan perkerasan aspal konstruksi jalan pada umumnya menggunakan aspal panas (hot mix) baik pada pekerjaan berskala kecil maupun besar. Namun dalam pekerjaan berskala kecil dirasa kurang efisien menggunakan hot mix karena hot mix tidak dapat diproduksi dalah jumlah kecil. Selain menggunakan hot mix, dapat pula menggunakan campuran aspal emulsi dingin (CAED). Namun CAED juga memiliki beberapa kelemahan, CAED memerlukan waktu yang lama untuk meningkatkan kekuatan, memiliki stabilitas yang rendah pada umur awal dan memiliki porositas yang tinggi sehingga kerusakan sebelum mencapai umur rencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganilisis tingkat durabilitas (keawetan) dengan benda uji yang dilukai campuran aspal emulsi dingin dan hangat terhadap rendaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan variasi benda uji yaitu benda uji tidak dilukai, benda uji dilukai, benda uji dilukai dan dioven 85˚C selama 2 Hari, penelitian ini diharapkan sebagai metode pendekatan dalam membuat benda uji yang dilukai dengan adanya kerusakan retak pada lapis permukaan di jalan raya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap durabilitas campuran aspal emulsi dingin dan hangat dengan benda uji tidak dilukai, benda uji dilukai, benda uji dilukai dan dioven 85˚C dengan lama rendaman 1 hari, 4 hari, 7 hari menyatakan bahwa stabilitas campuran emulsi hangat lebih tinggi daripada campuran emulsi dingin dan nilai durabilitas campuran emulsi dingin lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan campuran emulsi hangat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the topics and types/methods of research in the thesis of students of the Automotive Engineering Education study program, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. This research is descriptive research. The types/methods were descriptive models, Action Research, Ex Post-Facto, Research and Development, Evaluation, and Experimental Research (100, 69, 50, 35, 30, and 23 studies respectively). The study was conducted by analyzing 320 student thesis articles published from 2014 to 2018 in the Yogyakarta State University student e-journal. The results showed that the student's thesis topics consisted of 5 research topics, namely: education (139 topics), learning (120 topics), media development (43 topics), university issues (9 topics), and automotive engineering topics (9 pieces). Based on the results of the research, the types/research methods used were categorized into six methods, namely descriptive models (100 studies), classroom action research (69 studies), ex-post-facto (50 studies), research and development (48 studies), evaluation (30 studies), research and experimental (23 studies).

Abstract

The pyrolysis method is a technology in energy conversion that can be applied in processing plastic waste into alternative fuels in liquid form. The pyrolysis method begins with heating the plastic waste in the reactor at a temperature of more than 400°C so that the thermal degradation process of the material occurs without oxygen content, causing a phase change to the vapor phase. The vapor phase is cooled into the condenser to convert it into a liquid phase to obtain liquid fuel from plastic waste. In this study, the pyrolysis condenser design in changing the vapor phase from the reactor to the liquid phase was designed using water as a coolant on the annular side with a coolant inlet temperature of 25 ° C and a coolant outlet temperature of 35°C. The results showed that an annular side dimension with a diameter of 250 mm and a height of 250 mm was needed to reduce the temperature of the inlet condenser fuel vapor from 60°C to 30°C. Furthermore, the inner pipe of the condenser is made of copper material, which is formed by a spiral with a spiral diameter of 250 mm, an inner diameter of 25 mm, and a tubing length of 4,870 mm.

Abstract

Collaboration skills are one of the skills that are built in 21st-century education. With collaborative skills, students are expected to be able to work together with each other to help and complete to carry out certain tasks in order to obtain a predetermined goal. The jigsaw cooperative learning model as one of the means in building collaboration skills requires the adequacy of teaching materials. This study aims to produce products in the form of Student Worksheets (LKS) that fit the jigsaw cooperative learning model. This study uses the Design Research type Development Study development model. The research subjects were students of class X Muhammadiyah Cangkringan Sleman Yogyakarta. The stages in this study were researchers designing prototype 1. The results of prototype 1 were tested one-to-one, parallel to the expert review stage, as the basis for revision to improve and produce a prototype 2. Prototype 2 was tested in the small group as a basis for revision to improve and produce prototypes 3. The results of this study are prototypes 2 which are ready to be used at the small group stage.
