Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan unsur realis yang terdapat pada patung Dr. I L Nommensen yang ada di taman wisata salib kasih tarutung dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk memperoleh data mengenai analisis realis patung dilakukan pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen yang dianalisis berdasarkan unsur realis patung, observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah patung Nommensen yang berada di taman wisata salib kasih desa peatolong kecamatan siatas barita Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa gaya realis patung Nommensen di taman wisata salib kasih tidak sesuai dengan proporsi wajah,tangan, dan kaki. Proporsi patung tidak sesuai dengan 8 kali ukran kepala. Wujud dari patung Dr. I L Nommensen tidak sesuai dengan wujud Nommensen yang sebenarnya.  Kata Kunci: patung, realis, nommensen, salib, tarutung.AbstractThis study aims to describe the realist elements found in the statue of Dr. I L Nommensen who is in the crossing tourist park gave tarutung by using a qualitative descriptive research method. To obtain data on the realist analysis of sculptures, data collection using instruments was analyzed based on the realist elements of sculpture, observation, documentation and interviews. The subject of this study was the statue of Nommensen which was in the crossing tourist park of the village of Peatolong, Subdistrict Siatas Barita, North Tapanuli Regency. The results of the study explained that the realist style of Nommensen's statue in the tourist park of the cross of love did not match the proportions of the face, hands, and  feets. The proportion of the statue does not correspond to 8 times the head size. The form of the statue of Dr. I L Nommensen did not match Nommensen's true form. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil karya siswa dalam membuat gambar bentuk Bunga Anggrek dengan teknik pointilis berwarna karya siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Fityan School Medan. Penelitian ini termasuk pada jenis penelitian kualitatif. Populasi yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 21 karya gambar bentuk Bunga Anggrek sehingga sampel yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 karya gambar bentuk Bunga Anggrek menggunakan teknik Purvosive Sampling atau pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu yang dipandang dapat memberikan data secara maksimal. Penilaian dalam penelitian ini mengacu kepada nilai KKM 75 pada mata pelajaran seni budaya. Maka penilaian dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan unsur ggelap-terang 89, bentuk 87, ruang 86, pointilis 88, kemiripan bentuk  88,  tekstur  87. Maka dari 6 indikator penilaian tersebut unsur yang paling unggul dari 6 indikator yaitu pada unsur gelap-terang yang menimbulkan kemiripan bentuk. Sedangkan penilaian unsur yang paling terendah berada pada unsur ruang, dengan penerapan ruang masih kurang menunjukkan keteraturan. Penilaian secara keseluruhan pada unsur pointilis, bentuk, ruang, gelap-terang, kemiripan bentuk, dan tekstur mencapai nilai rata-rata87 dan termasuk dalam kategori baik, serta pada penerapan gelap-terang mencapai nilai rata-rata 87 dan termasuk dalam kategori baik, maka dari 5 karya gambar bentuk Bunga Anggrek yang mencapai nilai KKM sebanyak 5 karya  atau 100%  dari 5 karya gambar bentuk Bunga Anggrek sudah mencapai nilai KKM.Kata Kunci: analisis gambar bentuk, teknik pointilis.AbstractThis research aims to determine the work of students in creating drawings of the form of orchid flowers with pointilis techniques written by grade VIII students SMP Al-Fityan School Medan. This research is included in qualitative research. The population contained in this study as much as 21 drawings of the form of orchid flowers so that the samples set in this study consisted of 5 works of drawings of orchid flowers using Purvosive Sampling technique or sampling with Certain considerations that are deemed able to provide maximum data. The assessment in this study refers to the value of 75 in the cultural arts subjects. Then the assessment in the study showed that the application of the elements of the 89-bright ggelap, form 87, Room 86, Pointilis 88, similarity form 88, texture 87. Thus, from the 6 indicators the assessment is the most superior of the 6 indicators that are in the dark-light elements that cause similarities in shape. While the lowest valuation of the element is on the element of space, with the implementation of space still lacking the regularity. The overall assessment of Pointilis, form, space, dark-light, resemblance to shape, and texture reaches a flat-rata87 value and belongs to a good category, as well as on the application of dark-light reaching an average value of 87 and included in Good category, then of 5 works images of orchid form that reaches the value of the KKM as much as 5 works or 100% of 5 works images of the shape of the orchid has reached the value of the KKM.  Keywords: form image analysis, pointilis techniques.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini di latar belakangi untuk mendeskripsikan nilai estetis pada kerajinan miniatur kapal pada pengrajin kriya Asmidar Di Medan Perjuangan.Pembatasan masalah dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan nilai estetis dan hasil karya kerajinan miniatur kapal pada pengrajin kriya Asmidar di Medan Perjuangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kerajinan miniatur kapal pada pengrajin kriya Asmidar. Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengambil teknik sampling jenuh, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel sebanyak 8 karya kerajinan miniatur kapal. Dalam hal ini penulis akan meneliti karya kerajinan miniatur kapal tersebut berdasarkan aspek proporsi, keseimbangan, kesatuan, dan finishing. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriftif kualitatif. Berdasarkan data yang telah diperoleh, maka semua hasil penilaian dari ke dua ahli secara keseluruhan pada kerajinan miniatur kapal karya pengerajin Kriya Asmidar ditinjau berdasarkan aspek proporsi, keseimbangan, kesatuan, dan finishing, secara umum dikategorikan baik dengan jumlah nilai = 703 dan rata-rata (r) = 88 (baik). Kata Kunci:analisis, kerajinan, miniatur kapal.AbstractThis research is in the background to describe the aesthetic value of miniature craft shipments at the craftsmen of Asmidar craft in Medan Perjuangan. The problem limitation in this study focuses on the application of aesthetic values and the work of ship miniature crafts to the craftsmen of Asmidar craft in Medan Perjuangan. The population in this study is all miniature craft of craft in the craft of the Asmidar craft. In this study the author takes a saturated sampling technique, which is a sample determination technique if all members of the population are used as a sample of 8 ship miniature craft works. In this case the author will examine the ship's miniature craft based on aspects of proportion, balance, unity and finishing. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. Based on the data that has been obtained, all the results of the assessment of the two experts as a whole on the miniature craft of the work of the craftsmen KriyaAsmidar are reviewed based on the aspects of proportion, balance, unity, and finishing, generally categorized as good with a number of values = 703 and average ( r) = 88 (good).Keywords:analysis, crafts, miniature’s ship.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the shape and suitability of the statue's motion to the legendary story of Lake Toba in Siallagan village. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were ten human statues in the Taman Wisata Legenda Danau Toba which consisted of 10 statues. The 10 statues were assessed to get answers about the shape and suitability of body movements with the Legendary Story of Lake Toba in Siallagan Village. The highest value of a statue has an average value of 73, namely the 2nd sculpture work.While the lowest score of the statue has an average value of 57.25, is the 6th statue work. which is large enough from the beginning of the story to the illustration of the last goldfish statue depicting the end of the story that Uli returned to being a goldfish and the whole village sank to form a lake and an island.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the meaning and description of the accessories for the statue of the Virgin Mary in the Chapel of the Graha Annai Velangkanni. The sampling technique used in this research is total sampling, which is a whole sampling technique, so the samples in this study are 11 accessories worn on the statue of the Virgin Mary. The results of this study indicate that the accessories on the statue of the Virgin Mary still show the impression of mixing Indian culture with the Catholic Church. For the accessories of the statue of the Virgin Mary, the aesthetic value has aesthetic value, it can be seen in the form of the sculpture itself which has a good composition and a harmonious combination of colors according to the visual elements contained in the fine art. Types of accessories worn on the statue of the Virgin Mary has its own meaning, this can be seen in the use of accessories. There are 11 accessories worn on the statue of the Virgin Mary, namely: 12 Sea Stars (a sign of hope), the Golden Crown of Our Lady (a sign of the glory of a mother's heart), the Golden Crown of Jesus (a sign of prosperity), a Stola (a holy and clean symbol), the Pastor's Staff. (symbol of directing), Mangalsutra Necklace (symbol of love), Ring of Our Lady (symbol of dignity), Rosary (meditation instrument), Indian Flower Necklace (sign of respect), Saree (Indian traditional dress), and Crescent Moon (snake tread) .

Abstract

This study aims to find out the shape and proportion of monument statues of veterans in the building yudha bhakti DPD legion of veterans of the Republic of Indonesia in the city of Medan. The problem is focused on the shape and structure of the proportions of the sculpture that are less in accordance with anatomical theory. Data collection procedures are carried out through observations, interviews and documentation studies. The data is observed by deciphering and clarifying based on the anatomical form of the statue. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research, because it is a research that seeks to break down, explain and describe all data obtained from research. The results showed that veteran monument statues still have shortcomings, both in terms of shape and proportion, but this does not reduce the implied meaning of the monument statues of veterans of the Republic of Indonesia in the city of Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuii kualitasi hasil karya  siswai SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan tahun ajaran 2021/2022 semester ganjil dalam menggambar ragam hias flora pada vas bunga. Populasii dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karya siswa kelas VII dengan jumlah populasi 200 dan besar sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik (cluster randomi sampling) sebanyak  20 karya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dan teknik analisis Data kualitatif yang terkumpul menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Penilaian diperoleh dari tim validator yang terdapat tiga gurui Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan (SBK). Jumlah skor (r) 83,35(baik), sudah melewatinilai KKM 75 karya (25%) memperoleh predikat C (cukup baik), 14 karya (70%) memperoleh predikat B (baik), 1 karya (5%) memperoleh predikat A (sangat baik) dan D (kurangbaik) sebanyak 0%. Skor total tertinggi (90) dan skor total terendah (76). Simpulannya kualitas karya sudah baik dan kemampuan siswa menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Seni Rupa dalam menggambar Ragam Hias Flora pada Vas Bunga   sudah baik. Disarankan siswa bisa lebih aktif dan kreatif dalam memahami materi pembelajaran tentang menggambar Ragam Hias terkhusus Ragam Hias Flora.

Abstract

This research was conducted to explore the works of monuments in the city of Medan. This study aims to reveal, explain and document the works of monuments and monuments. Related to this, this research is also: (1) to find out in real terms the techniques, materials of manufacture, visualization of ideas, shape characteristics, and layout arrangements in terms of the observer's perspective on the art of sculpture, monuments, and monuments, (2) to produce teaching materials for Sculpture. with local content in the Department of Fine Arts at the State University of Medan. The study was conducted on a population and a sample of 3 works. Data were collected by using the methods of observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis was used descriptively and qualitatively with the type of taxonomic analysis. The results of the analysis and discussion conclude that the meaning of monumental sculpture in the city of Medan expresses the value of state ideology, history, and culture. The meaning is contained in the shape, color, size of the material, and the location of the work which is based on the philosophy of Pancasila, the history of struggle, and the culture of the Indonesian nation. While the techniques used were the grain technique and cast iron reinforced concrete, the techniques were also modeling (printing), then the materials used were cement, concrete, and bronze. The average visualization of the work displayed human figures, while the monument displayed rectangular concrete objects towering upwards.Keywords: statues, monuments, teaching materials. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendalami tentang karya patung monumen dan tugu yang terdapat di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan, menjelaskan, dan mendokumentasikan karya patung monumen dan tugu. Terkait hal ini, penelitian ini juga adalah: (1) mengetahui secara nyata teknik, bahan pembuatan, visualisasi ide, karakteristik bentuk, pengaturan tata letak ditinjau dari perspektif pengamat pada seni patung monumen dan tugu, (2) menghasilkan bahan ajar Seni Patung yang bermuatan lokal pada Jurusan Seni Rupa di Universitas Negeri Medan. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap populasi dan 3 sampel karya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Analisis data digunakan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis analisis taksonomi. Hasil analisis dan pembahasan menyimpulkan bahwa makna karya seni patung monumen di Kota Medan mengungkapkan nilai pada ideologi negara, sejarah dan budaya. Makna tersebut terkandung pada bentuk, warna, ukuran, bahan dan lokasi karya yang berlandaskan pada falsafah Pancasila, sejarah perjuangan dan budaya bangsa Indonesia. Sedangkan teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik butsir, cor beton bertulang besi, juga teknik modelling (cetak), selanjutnya bahan yang digunakan rata-rata semen beton dan ada perunggu.
