Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan mobile app dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dan mengurangi penyalahgunaan penggunaan smartphone saat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experimental design dengan model non-equivalent group pretest posttest yang diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan mobile apps pada metode Mindmap cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan mampu mengurangi kebiasaan mahasiswa dalam penyalahgunaan penggunaan smartphone.Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using mobile apps in improving student learning outcomes and reducing abuse of smartphone use during learning. This research is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent group pretest-posttest model applied to the experimental class and the control class. Data analysis in this study using the t-test. The results showed that the use of mobile apps in the Mindmap method was competent enough to improve learning achievement and was able to reduce student habits in the abuse of smartphone use.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran kartu uno sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran ekonomi kelas X; dan 2) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ahli media, ahli materi, praktisi pembelajaran dan peserta didik kelas X IPS 1 SMA N 1 Wates. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran kartu uno sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran melalui lima tahapan, yaitu tahap analisis, tahap desain, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi; 2) Media pembelajaran Kartu Uno dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran ekonomi dan termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik, berdasarkan dari: a) ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata skor akhir 3,82 (kriteria baik), b) ahli media memperoleh rata-rata skor akhir 4,325 (kriterwia sangat baik), c) praktisi pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata skor akhir 4,818 (kriteria sangat baik), dan tanggapan peserta didik dari kelompok kecil memperoleh rata-rata skor akhir 4,552 (kriteria sangat baik) dan uji coba pemakaian memperoleh rata-rata skor 4,637 (kriteria sangat baik).Abstract: This study aims to: 1) develop uno card learning media as a learning tool for class X economic learning; and 2) learning the feasibility of learning media. This research uses the development research method using the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study were media experts, material experts, learning and students of class X IPS 1 of SMA N 1 Wates. The results showed that: 1) developing card learning media as a learning evaluation tool through five stages, namely, analysis, design, development, development, and implementation; 2) Uno Card Learning Media is declared appropriate to be used as an evaluation tool for economic learning and is included in an excellent assessment, based on a) material experts get an average score of 3.82 (right criteria), b) media experts get an average final score of 4,325 (excellent criteria), c) agreed to learn an average final score of 4,818 (excellent criteria), and students' responses from small groups obtained an average final score of 4,552 (excellent criteria) an average score of 4,637 (excellent criteria).

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe (1) the implementation of Active Learning at State Senior High Schools in Yogyakarta, (2) the treasury in the implementation of the curriculum and, (3) the dominant factors in its accomplishment.The approach employed in this study was qualitative with the ethnographic method and the research setting was SMAN 3 Yogyakarta, SMAN 9 Yogyakarta and SMAN 11 Yogyakarta. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis techniques included the analyses of domain, taxonomy, components, and themes. The validity of the data was tested by lengthening the study and by triangulation.This research findings show the following results:1) in implementation of the Active Learning: a) most of teacher and student who agreed with it, b) there was a few student did not agree with it, 2)The treasuries of the implementation of the Active Learning at SMAN 11 were a) the quality of human resources: teachers, administrative staff and students, b) the National Examination to hamper the implementation of Active Learning in class XII c) the availability of OHP in every class, d) too many learning groups, and e) minimum teachers welfare. The treasury of the implementation of the Active Learning at SMAN 9 were that: a) the school area was narrow and dried so it was not possible to perform theout-door learning activities, b) the students were less active and motivated for learning especially social science majors, c) there was a handicap in financial matters, d) there was less variety in using learning media, and e) most of the equipment in the laboratory was broken and could not be used. The treasuries in the implementation of the Active Learning at SMAN 3 were that: a) the Active Learning is not yet officially ratified, b) the understanding of teachers about the Active Learning was rather low, and c) it was difficult to change the habit of teachers in teaching from teacher-centered to student-centered approach. The most dominant factors in the implementation of the Active Learning at SMAN 11 were a) the leadership of the school principal, b) good team work, and c) teachers and students creativity. The most dominant factors in the implementation of the Active Learning at SMAN 9 were a) the commitment and spirit of the school society to implement Active Learning, b) teacher and student factors, and c) facilities of the school. The most dominant factors in the implementation of the Active Learning at SMAN 3 were a) student factors, b) teacher factors, c) school management and d) the facilities of the school.

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi memiliki peran yang besar dalam menyiapkan sumber daya yang berkualitas sehingga diharapkan mampu mengatasi masalah pengangguran, namun jumlah penganggur di kalangan terdidik justru terus mengalami peningkatan. Tracer studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui masa tunggu, persebaran, dan tingkat relevansi pekerjaan Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi FE UNY. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah alumni Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi FE UNY lulusan tahun 2007 s.d. 2016. Sampel diambil secara convenience sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik angket, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa masa tunggu lulusan untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan pertama termasuk dalam kategori cepat; peluang kerja lulusan terbesar untuk pekerjaan pertama masih didominasi oleh pegawai swasta, tenaga pengajar/tentor, dan guru swasta; relevansi lulusan dengan pekerjaan yang ditekuni saat ini tergolong cukup baik; dan kinerja lulusan termasuk dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

Abstrak: Benefit Incidence Analysis Program Bidikmisi pada Perguruan Tinggi di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan memberikan penilaian terhadap program Bidikmisi pada perguruan tinggi di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode Benefit Incidence Analysis. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey dengan sampel mahasiswa penerima Bidikmisi dari berbagai perguruan tinggi baik swasta maupun negeri. Penelitian menemukan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa berasal dari keluarga yang tidak mampu. Sebanyak 82% mahasiswa memperoleh manfaat yang lebih besar dari program Bidikmisi. Apabila rata-rata pendapatan gabungan maksimal Rp.3.000.000 sebagaimana ketentuan program maka sebesar 92 persen masyarakat merasakan manfaat dari program Bidikmisi. Kata Kunci: Program Bidikmisi, benefit incidence analysis, progresif Abstract: Benefit Incidence Analysis for Bidikmisi Program on Higher Education in the Province of Yogyakarta. This study was conducted to analyze and provide an assessment of the Bidikmisi program at Higher Education Institutions in Yogyakarta Special Teritorry. The method of Benefit Incidence Analysis was applied. Data collecting using survey method with a sample of students receiving Bidikmisi from various universities, both public and private universities. The study found that the majority of students come from poor families. Abstract

Poverty is a way of entry for the new century of colonialism. Future generations should be able to fight for this nation's wealth. The education of entrepreneurship is a way to reduce poverty; it is an education concept encouraging students to be creative and innovative in doing something. The pattern of such education requires learners to be productive. Entrepreneurship education is educational framework that directs learners to be quick in understanding and probing the economic and social needs of the surrounding community. Government should be willing to provide sufficient funds so that the process of entrepreneurship education can run smoothly.Even the community should be more active and intense in monitoring the development of entrepreneurial education if they want the progress of their nation, not only being a  nation of coolie by sending migrant workers abroad, mostly of them  are maid workers. This country is rich in natural resources, were it supported by resources having a high entrepreneurial spirit it would become a prosperous state so that by itself poverty would be far reduced. Poverty will evaporate into the history and transform to be memories that only can be remembered in museums.

Abstract

Abstract This research was intended to know the extent to which Contextual Teaching and Learning (CLT) are able to overcome practical problems in compliance with the students’ ability to construct a concept from what they learned. The research subjects are the students of the academic years 2003/2004 who take the Introduction to Economic Science. This research involved 40 first semester students, one lecturer as the researcher and the executor of the action, two observer lecturers. Since there is lack of time in the accordance with the grouping and the students’ classification takes time, two methods are used to improve: the students’ participation in discussing the results of their discussion, the students’ way in revealing describing oral description review, the students’ capability in construction concept. It is found that CTL has the following weaknesses: the frequent use of CTL method makes the students boring. For the students with high level of learning motivation it is ex citing because they have chance to express more opinions, but for those with low level of learning motivation it is not interesting. Abstract

Abstract: Is The Human Capital Investment of Provincial Governments Productive in Decentralization Era? The effectiveness of government spending, especially investment in human capital, increases labor productivity also depends on how the local government determines the type of expenditure. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of government spending in general and functionally to labor productivity. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, econometric method. This study uses secondary data from local government budgets across Indonesia summary provided by the Indonesian Ministry of Finance Directorate General of Regional Financial Balance. The data used is the provincial-level economic analysis units throughout Indonesia in 2012. This research shows that provincial government spending in human capital investment does not effectively increase labor productivity. Total provincial government spending does not affect the regional labor productivity. Government spending in the areas of public facilities and housing positively influence regional labor productivity. Keywords: local government, human capital investment, labor productivity, fiscal decentralization, public spendingAbstrak: Produktifkah Human Capital Investment oleh Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi dalam Era Desentralisasi? Efektivitas pengeluaran pemerintah khususnya human capital investment dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tenaga kerja juga tergantung dari pemilihan pemda dalam menentukan jenis pengeluaran tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengeluaran belanja pemerintah secara umum maupun secara fungsional terhadap produktivitas tenaga kerja melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ekonometrika. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari ringkasan APBD pemda seluruh Indonesia yang disediakan oleh Kemenkeu Dirjen Perimbangan Keuangan Daerah RI. Data yang digunakan adalah data tahun 2012 dengan unit analisis perekonomian level provinsi seluruh Indonesia. Pengeluaran pemerintah provinsi secara total tidak mempengaruhi produktivitas tenaga kerja regional. Pengeluaran pemerintah daerah provinsi dalam fungsi human capital investment tidak efektif meningkatkan produktivitas tenaga kerja meski demikian pengeluaran pemerintah dalam bidang fasilitas umum dan perumahan mempengaruhi secara positif produktivitas tenaga kerja regionalnya. Kata Kunci: pemerintah daerah, human capital investment, produktivitas tenaga kerja, desentralisasi fiskal, pengeluaran pemerintah

Abstract

Kemiskinan menjadi jalan masuknya penjajahan abad baru karena bangsa yang miskin akanmudah dikendalikan dan dikuasai negara lain. Generasi masa kini dan yang akan datang harusdapat memperjuangkan dan mengelola sumber daya yang melimpah, dan pendidikanentrepreneurship adalah salah satu jalan untuk keluar dari kemiskinan menuju kejayaan.Pendidikan entrepreneur adalah satu konsep pendidikan yang memberikan semangat padapeserta didik untuk kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengerjakan sesuatu hal. Pola pendidikansedemikian ini menuntut peserta didik untuk bisa produktif. Pendidikan entrepreneur adalahsebuah pendidikan yang mengarahkan dan membekali peserta didik untuk bisa cepat dalammerespon perubahan dan memahami kebutuhan sosial ekonomi masyarakat.Pemerintah seyogyanya mau memberikan perhatian lebih dan menyediakan dana yangmemadai supaya proses pendidikan entrepreneurship bisa berjalan dan dijalankan secaraefektif. Orang tua harus membekali pendidikan entrepreneur sejak dini untuk anak-anaknya,Guru harus mengajarkan spirit entrepreneur pada murid-muridnya, masyarakatpun haruslebih aktif dan intensif dalam memantau perkembangan pendidikan entrepreneur kalau inginbangsanya maju, tidak hanya menjadi bangsa kuli dengan mengirim TKI ke luar negeri yangsebagian besar sebagai pembantu. Negara yang kaya raya akan sumber daya alam ini biladidukung sumber daya yang memiliki spirit entrepreneur yang tinggi akan menjadi Negarayang makmur sehingga dengan sendirinya kemiskinan akan berkurang bahkan menjadisejarah dan tinggal kenangan yang hanya ada di museum.

Abstract

This research wants to investigate whether such variables profitability, assets andfixed asset ratio influenced debt policy in KOPMA UNY. We were choose thesevariables cause many factors can affect debt decision. We examined by using linearregression.The result shows that the three variables have positive and significant influences todebt. It was proved by t-tests and coefficients. Profitability (PROF) has coefficient of1,799 with t-test of 10,055 and significance of 0,000, ASET has coefficient of 0,579with t-test of 3,735 and significance of 0,001 and fixed asset ratio (FAR) hascoefficient of 0,185 with t-test of 4,822 and significance of 0,000. The goodness offit (R2) is 0,468 which mean that variables choosed can explaine the dependentvariable by 46,8 percents. The numbers was quiet enough to be an estimator.KOPMA UNY has opportunity to expand their business, with a good performance onthese variables. They can attain the sources of fund such as banking and others.Key words : debt, profitability, asset, fixed asset ratio
