<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the ability of teachers to implement online learning in private primary schools in North Sumatra PAB. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive research type. Descriptive research in this study aims to describe the observed data. The population in this study were 31 schools in North Sumatra PAB private primary schools. The sampling technique in this study was random sampling, while the sample in this study was 9 schools with each school being taken by one teacher as the research sample. The data collection technique in this research is observation. The data analysis technique is using the descriptive data analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: the teacher's ability to implement online learning in North Sumatra PAB primary schools is low. The low ability of teachers is caused by several factors, but in this study the biggest factor is the lack of teacher motivation in learning technology, which causes online learning not to be carried out as expected. Therefore, the government's attention to the mastery of technology for all teachers is something that needs to be improved considering that one of the biggest indicators of the times is the rapid development of technology.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan utama pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dalam menggunakan media daring sebagai alternatif pembelajaran di era pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode daring dan metode luring. Metode daring digunakan dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi zoom meeting. Sedangkan metode luring digunakan untuk kegiatan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama tiga kali pertemuan dengan materi yaitu pelatihan menggunakan google form, pelatihan menggunakan aplikasi zoom dan google meet serta pelatihan menggunakan video pembelajaran. Adapun peserta kegiatan ini terdiri dari guru sekolah dasar yang ada di bawah yayasan PAB Sumatera Utara. Berdasarkan analisis hasil kegiatan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah kegiatan dilaksanakan terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman guru dalam menggunakan dan mengaplikasikan media daring dalam pembelajaran. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat dari meningkatnya: 1) kemampuan menggunakan google form sebagai media untuk absen hadir serta membuat soal berbasis online; 2) kemampuan menggunakan zoom dan google meet sebagai fasilitas pembelajaran; dan 3) kemampuan membuat video pembelajaran menggunakan filmora dan kinemaster.]]>

<![CDATA[The emergence of natural schools is considered capable of being an alternative in improving the quality of education. This study aims to describe the curriculum used in the Sougogors natural school and examine the structure listed in the natural school. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The subjects in this study are supervisors, principals, teachers, school committees and some high-class students. The results showes that the curriculum used in the SoUbogor natural school was called AKAR ALAM. AKAR ALAM have four concepts, namely 1) moral curriculum; 2) leadership curriculum; 3) logic curriculum; 4) business curriculum. Of the four curriculum concepts, AKAR ALAM has similarities with the structure of the National curriculum. Kurikuum natural school is considered able to improve education quality because it is expected that other schools can make the curriculum a reference in learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Saat ini perkembangan teknologi berkembang dengan begitu pesat sehingga dapat dijadikan sumber literasi bagi siswa yang ingin menambah pengetahuannya. Literasi dapat dijadikan salah satu acuan untuk melihat keterampilan komunikasi siswa sekolah dasar. Keterampilan komunikasi ditunjukan dengan kemampuan memproses informasi, mengintegrasikan pikiran dan ucapan, dan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan. Meskipun demikian, literasi masih menjadi hal yang sulit untuk diterapkan dikalangan siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh teknologi dan literasi terhadap keterampilan komunikasi siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis dengan kajian literatur yang bersifat deskripsi melalui berbagai kajian kepustakaan dalam memperkuat analisis yang didukung dari berbagai sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh teknologi dan literasi terhadap keterampilan komunikasi siswa,teknologi dapat menjadi salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan siswa untuk dijadikan sumber literasi.]]>

<![CDATA[The lack of teacher knowledge related to numeracy and character literacy, the low ability of numeracy literacy and student character and the low ability of teachers in developing numeracy and character literacy-based teaching materials so that the achievement of learning objectives is still low, on the other hand the 2013 Curriculum mandates numeracy and character literacy-based learning. The solution to overcome the existing problems can be through training for mathematics teachers at PAB Private Junior High Schools, namely the manufacture of teaching materials based on numeracy and character literacy. Specific targets that are expected to be achieved through this service program are improving the quality of learning, increasing pedagogic competence and developing the professionalism of mathematics teachers. For this reason, this activity will provide skills training in the development of numeracy and character-based teaching materials according to the interests of partners, so that later partners are able to develop and apply numeracy and character-based teaching materials in classroom learning so as to improve numeracy literacy skills and the character of teachers and students.]]>

<![CDATA[as a learning medium in the pandemic era. The implementation of this activity is carried out online and offline. The online method is used by utilizing Google Meeting. While the offline method is implemented in order to evaluate the use of Google Classroom. The implementation of this activity lasted for three meetings with Google Classroom material, this training used the google meet application and training using learning videos. Participants in this activity consisted of elementary school teachers under the auspices of the North Sumatra PAB Foundation. Based on the results of the activity analysis, it can be concluded that after this activity there was an increase in teacher understanding in using and applying Google Classroom learning media. This increase can be seen from; 1) The teacher's ability to provide material through google classroom; 2) the ability of teachers to provide assessments using Google Classroom; and 3) the ability to make ice breaker through learning videos uploaded to Google Classroom.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the low social literacy of students in elementary schools. Therefore, this research aims to find a new paradigm in creating learning that is able to increase students' social literacy in elementary schools. Specifically, this research aims to analyze the effect of using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on the social literacy of elementary school students. This research design uses quasi-experiment, namely comparing the CIRC learning model with conventional learning models. This research was conducted at PAB 27 Tanjung Mulia Private Elementary School. The sample used was 48 class V students, each of which was 23 class V/a students who were designated as the experimental class and 25 class V/b students who were designated as the control class. Data collection uses tests of student literacy skills which are prepared in the form of narrative questions. The hypothesis was tested using the independent sample t test. The results of the research show that there is a significant effect of using the CIRC model on the social literacy of elementary school students. With a significant value of 0.000 and a Mean Difference value of 10.17.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to identify, find out how influential the CRH learning model is based on students' critical thinking skills. This research is a quasi-experimental research using pre-test and post test control group design. With 40 students from grade V SD Negeri 107406 Cinta Rakyat who became the study population using two different classrooms as experimental classes and control classes, each class consisting of 20 students. Using the technique the total sample from this study was taken, and used on all populations as its sample. This research tool uses a research test consisting of 20 essay questions. The data collected was obtained through student learning outcomes from before and after the test. In addition, the data was also analyzed using Normality test analysis, Homogeneity test, and continued with T-test samples. Then obtained with a significant value of 0.011 > 0.05 which has a difference of about 9.5 which means accepting H0 and rejecting Ha, from these results researchers concluded that using the CRH method can affect students' critical thinking.]]>

<![CDATA[This research analyzes the impact of social media use on the behavior of fourth grade elementary school students. This research is qualitative research with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This research collects secondary data from various journals and related literature. The research results show that social media has both positive and negative impacts on student behavior. Positive impacts include ease of access to information, increased creativity, and support for social interaction and learning. However, negative impacts such as impaired concentration, decreased quality of direct interactions, potential for cyberbullying, and exposure to inappropriate content were also found. In an educational context, collaboration between teachers and parents is very important to direct the use of social media wisely, in order to minimize the negative impacts and maximize the benefits. This research recommends the need for intensive supervision and digital education for elementary school students to encourage positive and responsible use of social media.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung (calistung) melalui program literasi numerasi memanfaatkan limbah sampah di Desa Tebing Tanjung Selamat. Metode pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis proyek dengan memanfaatkan limbah sebagai alat peraga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa sebesar 35%, berdasarkan hasil pretest dan post-test. Selain itu, program ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis siswa terhadap pengelolaan limbah. Penggunaan limbah sebagai media pembelajaran terbukti efektif dalam merangsang kreativitas, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengelolaan lingkungan berkelanjutan. Evaluasi lanjutan menunjukkan bahwa sekolah dan masyarakat secara aktif mengintegrasikan konsep ini dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar sehari-hari.
