Abstract

Rondo Mangir Food Stalls is a culinary tourism market located on Jl. Pringgondani, Mangir Village, Kec. Rogojampi, Banyuwangi. This culinary tourism market has a strategic place and resources with competitive advantages so that it creates considerable opportunities if developed and promoted. This study aims to introduce Rondo Mangir Food Stalls more widely through Instagram social media effectively with a resource-based approach. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with Resources Based View Theory analysis (RBV) to describe the conditions and resources owned and the VRIO analysis framework for resource assessment. The decision-making stage uses SCA analysis toward the resources that meet all the approximations used as an alternative recommendation for the promotion strategy of Rondo Mangir Food Stalls. There are three recomendations in which the elements of the promotion mix has included in each reference. The strategy resulted from the SCA analysis are making selected resources in tho form of art as content, develop management capabilities and empower communities through training or socialization to keep the operational maintenance of Rondo Mangir Food Stalls.

Abstract

Accurate and efficient tour package quotation or price calculation is one of the key factors in supporting the competitiveness of the travel and tourism industry. Manual calculation processes, which are still widely used in the education and in the travel industries are often time-consuming, prone to errors, and difficult to modify when there are changes in cost components and the number of tourists. This study aims to improve an efficient method for calculating tour package quotations through the utilization of the ROUNDUP function in Microsoft Excel. The method employed in this study is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the study indicate that the Excel template based on the ROUNDUP function is capable of simplifying formula structures by up to 60% compared to manual methods, making them easier to modify and reducing calculation processing time. Two Experts validation yielded a score of 90%, categorized as highly feasible. The implementation of this template has proven effective in improving efficiency for accelerating the pricing preparation process and minimizing the risk of pricing calculation errors. Therefore, this tour package quotation template utilizing the round up function can serve as a practical solution for enhancing education and work productivity in the travel and tourism industry.

Abstract

Paket wisata tematik merupakan suatu kesatuan produk wisata yang dapat memberikan layanan dan pengalaman berwisata secara lengkap bagi wisatawan mulai dari aktivitas di daya tarik wisata, kemudahan transportasi, layanan makan dan minum, hingga fasilitas penginapan dan pusat oleh-oleh. Kemampuan pengemasan beragam potensi desa kedalam suatu paket wisata tematik menjadi hal yang sangat penting untuk dimiliki oleh pengelola Desa Wisata. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut adalah melalui kegiatan pelatihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kontribusi kegiatan pelatihan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman peserta dan tingkat efektifitas kegiatan pelatihan penyusunan paket wisata tematik di Desa Wisata Tambong, Kecamatan Kabat, Kabupaten Banyuwangi yang dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Uji Normalized Gain (N-Gain) kepada masyarakat Desa Tambong sebagai responden dalam penelitian ini. Hasil uji N-Gain menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan telah memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan pemahaman peserta pada kategori yang Sedang dengan N-Gain Skor sebesar 0,30. Sedangkan tingkat efektifitas kegiatan pelatihan termasuk pada kategori tidak efektif dengan persentase N-Gain sebesar 30,52%. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bahwa untuk mendapatkan tingkat efektifitas kegiatan pelatihan yang lebih optimal, perlu dilakukan metode pelatihan lain selain metode ceramah yang dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih efektif seperti penggunaan metode audio visual.
