One of effectives technique that used by the teacher is Career Exploration Technique where it was affords as a systematic procedure by the teacher could guide the students to write. Career exploration is an activity, guide, and counseling to assist students make decisions about choosing their future professions, and how to get jobs in their chosen fields (Kelly, 2010). The teacher could guide students to express and write down their ideas in choosing a job in the future. As opinion of the researcher that one of the best ways to stimulate the students’ idea is facilitate them by giving the material that is closest to their life and the closest thing is about themselves.This research will use Quasi-experimental design as a method which involves two groups; an experimental group and control group. The population of this research is the fourth semester of English Education at STKIP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba in 2018-2019 academic years. There are two classes namely 18 A that consist of 23 students and 18 B that consist of 27 students, so the total number of population is 50 students. It will be taken by using total technique sampling. So, the sample of this research is 18 A for control group and 18 B for experimental group. During the research, the researcher will apply Career exploration technique in writing class. The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of Career exploration technique in teaching writing course.

The aim of this study is to find out whether or not the use of vlog will enhance the vocabulary of the students. This study used pre-experimental studies consisting of pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The participants in the study were 25 students of the second grade students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Bulukumba. Based on the findings of the study, there is a substantial difference between the mean pre-test score and the mean post-test score, from a very bad classification to a decent classification. In addition, the t-test value of this analysis (16,12) is greater than the t-table value (3,745) with a degree of significance of 0,05. It means that it supports the alternative hypothesis.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji Penyelenggaraan Pembelajaran Program Kesetaraan Paket C di PKBM Merah Putih Kota Makassar. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Penyelenggaraan Program Kesetaraan Paket C Terkhusus pada Proses Pembelajaran Paket C Di PKBM Merah Putih Kota Makassar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Penyelenggaraan Program Kesetaraan Paket C terkhusus pada proses pembelajaran Paket C Di PKBM Merah Putih Kota Makassar. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi 4 orang tutor di PKBM Merah Putih. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian ini bertempat di Jl. Baji Maccini No. 4/a Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian yaitu keterlibatan pendidik/tutor, di PKBM Merah Putih sebelum memulai pembelajaran tutor melakukan persiapan dengan baik seperti Silabus dan RPP, menyiapkan bahan ajar, menggunakan metode dan pendekatan yang memudahkan warga belajar dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan. Keterlibatan warga belajar, Pelaksanaan pembelajaran warga belajar menyiapkan alat tulis yang digunakan untuk mencatat materi yang disampaikan oleh tutor. Dalam penyelenggaraan program kesetaraan di PKBM Merah Putih terlihat antusias warga belajar dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Kurikulum, di PKBM Merah Putih Kota Makassar dalam pelaksanaan program kesetaraan paket C terdapat mata pelajaran, jadwal dan ruangan belajar. Mata pelajaran yang diajarkan kepada warga belajar seperti Bahasa Indonesia, Matematika, Bahasa Inggris, Ekonomi, Sosiologi, Geografi, dan PKN. Jadwal ditentukan oleh warga belajar dan tutor sedangkan ruangan belajar disiapkan oleh pengelola PKBM.

Kursus bahasa Inggris merupakan sebuah lembaga pendidikan non formal yang diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan belajar masyarakat akan bahasa Inggris, bahkan diyakini mampu mentransform kesulitan mereka dalam mempercepat dan menuntaskan penguasaan bahasa Inggris mereka. Kenyataan menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak lembaga yang kurang mampu merealisasikan harapan tersebut. Sehingga penelitian ini diharapkan mampu mengatasi permalasahan dan merealisasikan harapan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangakan buku panduan pembelajaran transformatif untuk program kursus bahasa Inggris guna meningkatkan kemampuannya memenuhi harapan masyarakat tersebut. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Pertama dilakukan pendalaman kembali permasalahan kursus Bahasa Inggris dan best practice kursus terkait, pengembangan draft panduan pembelajaran transformatif untuk kursus bahasa Inggris, kemudian validasi ahli media pembelajaran dan ahli bidang PLS, revisi, validasi pihak pengguna di lapangan, dan revisi akhir. Penyajian data menggunakan teknik analisis data statistic kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan pembelajaran transformatif untuk program kursus bahasa Inggris ini cukup valid dan dapat digunakan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil validasi ahli media pembelajaran dengan ahli bidang PLS dengan kualifikasi cukup valid dan tidak perlu direvisi dan dari pihak pengguna dengan persentase 82,77% termasuk kategori kualifikasi valid dan tidak perlu direvisi). Berdasarkan temuan tersebut peneliti menyarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk menguji-cobakan model solusi yang ditawarkan, bahkan mengembangkan model solusi lain yang lebih efektif dan serta mengembangkan panduannya sesuai karakteristik lokal.

The study's purpose is to see how English Phrase Videos affect the speaking skills of LKP Incredible course participants. A pre-experimental design including a pre-test and a post-test was employed by the researcher. The population for this study was drawn via purposive sampling from the intermediate grade of LKP Incredible, Bulukumba in the academic year 2021/2022. There are 12 students in this sample. The data analysis demonstrated a significant difference in students' speaking competence between pre-test and post-test, notably in students' pronunciation and vocabulary following therapy. The pupils' pre-test mean score was 41.66, while their post-test mean score was 60. It was revealed that the pupils' post-test scores were greater than their pre-test scores. The t-test value was 8.85, which was greater than the t-table 1.795 at the level of significance () = 0,05 and degree of freedom (df) =12 -1=11. The t-test value (8.85 > 1.795) was determined to be greater than the t-table value. It denotes that hypothesis H0 was rejected and hypothesis H1 was accepted. The use of video of English sentences increases learners' pronunciation and vocabulary, according to this study. According to the study, teachers would use video of English phrases as one of the media in the teaching and learning process, particularly in teaching speaking.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Dinas Perdagangan, Perindustrian, Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Bulukumba. Masalah dalam penelitian yaitu Bagaimana Implementasi Program Teras UKM Kecamatan Kindang Oleh Dinas Perdagangan, Perindustrian, Koperasi dan UKM Dalam Meningkatkan Minat Berwirausaha Masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Implementasi Program Teras UKM Kecamatan Kindang Oleh Dinas Perdagangan, Perindustrian, Koperasi dan UKM Dalam Meningkatkan Minat Berwirausaha Masyarakat. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 7 orang termasuk diantaranya 1 orang Kepala Bidan UKM Dinas Perdagangan, Perindustrian, Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Bulukumba dan Pelaku usaha Teras UKM Kecamatan Kindang yang berjumlah 6 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian Implementasi Program Teras UKM Kecamatan Kindang oleh Dinas Perdagangan, Perindustrian, Koperasi dan UKM dalam Meningkatkan Minat Berwirausaha Masyarakat meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan serta faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam implementasi Program Teras UKM Kecamatan Kindang belum meningkat karena faktor yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor kondisi lingkungan dapat terhambat oleh cuaca karena curah hujan tinggi sehingga pelaku usaha dalam pelaksanaan Program Teras UKM Kecamatan Kindang tidak dapat beroperasional lagi.

Media has a great role in learning as well as in writing, how to help the students easier in expressing their idea and constructing their writing as well. This study aims at describing the students’ interest on the use of picture series media in writing. The design of this study was a descriptive model which engaged 25 students as sample. It was conducted at Muhammadiyah University of Bulukumba, South-Sulawesi. In collecting data, the researcher used questionnaire in rating scale form; whether (1) strongly agree (2) Agree (3) Undecided (4) Disagree (5) Strongly Disagree with the questions or statements given. It contained ten positive and closed statements about the usage of picture series media in writing which was given after treating the students for several meetings by using that media. The percentage of each answer or response on the questionnaire was calculated. The researcher utilized the formula where the number of frequency is multiplied by 100 percent (%) and then divided by the total number of respondents, and then converting the questionnaire data into percentages. The result of the students’ response indicated that picture series is an interesting media used in writing because of helping them construct their writing, grow their ideas, arrange the chronological order, focus on writing, and etc. It can be concluded that picture series is an interesting media used in writing. The mean percentage score showed that 84.4% of strongly agree, 15.2% of agree, 0.4% of undecided, none of student stated disagree and strongly disagree with the statements on the questionnaire.

The most prominent thing to be paid attention in reading comprehension is the reading activity as well, how to stimulate and attract the students’ attention to read. The aim of this research is to investigate and describe the students’ attractiveness on the use of webtoon application in reading activity. This study was a descriptive model consisting of 35 students. It was conducted at Bulukumba Muhammadiyah University, South-Sulawesi. The data were collected with a questionnaire, it was rating scale which distributed after several meetings of treatments, and it covered 10 positive and closed statements about the use of webtoon application in reading activity and the students were asked to respond whether they are: (1) strongly agree (2) Agree (3) Undecided (4) Disagree (5) Strongly Disagree with the statements. The questionnaire was analyzed based on the percentage of each answer or response. To calculate questionnaire data into percentage, the researcher used the formula where the number of frequency is multiplied to 100% then divided to the number of the total respondents. The result of the students’ response indicated that webtoon application is interesting media used in reading activity because containing and covering electronic comics, online comics, digital comics, etc. The highest rank of the mean score is 51% of strongly agree students, 46% of agree students, 2% of undecided students, 1% of disagree students, and none of student strongly disagree to the statements on the questionnaire.

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of grammatical practice activities in the CLT method in increasing the grammar capability of the second semester students at University of Muhamamdiyah Bulukumba. Based on the research objective, the researcher would like to find out how the CLT method is being used effectively and efficiently in the EFL class through grammar practice activities. The design of the research is a classroom action research (CAR). The researcher acts and follows four steps: Planning, Implementing of the action, observation and evaluation. The study's participants were second-semester English Education students at the University of Muhammadiyah Bulukumba. There were two classes, 20A and 20B, each with 21 students and 30 students, for a total of 51 students. The research sample was drawn from class 20A, which consisted of 21 students, using a random sampling technique. In the collection of the data, the researcher used certain types of instruments; 1) pre-test and post-test testing, questionnaire, 3) Grammar Practice Activities materials. The researcher concluded that the Grammar Practice Activities, as one of the applications of the CLT method, were effective in increasing the grammar ability of the second semester students at the University Muhammadiyah of The data collected before and after the treatment in every circle has verified this. The Grammar Practice Activities was proven to increase the students’ interest and involve the students as a center in teaching learning process toward English grammar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efek menggunakan diskusi kelompok kecil untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa di SMPN 26 Bulukumba. Studi ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari siswa dari SMPN 26 Bulukumba, dan sampel dipilih melalui pengambilan sampel secara sengaja, yang melibatkan satu kelas 24 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur pemahaman membaca siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pre-test adalah 53,50, sedangkan rata-rata skor post-test meningkat menjadi 68,66. Analisis uji t menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung (4,3) lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel (1,714), yang menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Dengan demikian, hipotesis alternatif (H?) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H?) ditolak. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode diskusi kelompok kecil secara efektif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa di SMPN 26 Bulukumba.
