Abstract

Kata kunci: LKPD, PBL, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis Abstract: This research aims to produce a PBL-based Student Worksheet product to explore students' mathematical critical thinking skills in the application of trigonometric comparative concepts. This type of research is R&D with a 4D development model which is the define , design, development and dissemination stages. The validation of the developed product involves subject matter experts and media experts. The results of the validation test given to material experts and media experts are in the "very valid" category. The product feasibility test involved math teachers and students and obtained the "very positive" category. The effectiveness test using effect size (d) with a value of 1.76 is very effective to explore mathematical critical thinking skills. This research was conducted at MAN 5 Tasikmalaya involving 18 students as trial subjects with the object of research in the form of PBL-based student worksheet to explore students' mathematical critical thinking skills. This study produced valid and effective PBL-based student worksheet products to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills. Keywords: Student worksheet, PBL, Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills

Abstract

This research aims to describe the procedures for developing Canva-based digital Smart Apps Creator media and analyze the effectiveness of Canva-based digital Smart Apps Creator media and increasing numeric abilities. The subjects in this research were 21 students class XI SMA 1 Pasundan. This research uses the ADDIE Research and Development (R&D) model through the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation stages to obtain valid and practical products. Data collection techniques in this research are through observation, structured interviews, questionnaires and numeric ability tests. The instruments used in this research were material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, user response questionnaires, and numeric ability test. Canva-based digital Smart Apps Creator media value analysis from validators obtained results of 100% for material experts in the high or very valid category, results from media experts were 100% in the high or very valid category, and index values ??from material experts were 100% in the high or valid category. The effectiveness obtained from the N-gain calculation results obtained an average of 0.68 in the medium category so that the use of Canva-based digital Smart Apps Creator media is effectively used to improve students' numeric abilities.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine students' mathematical procedural fluency in addressing algebraic operation problems through the lens of metacognition. The research is qualitative in nature and employs an exploratory methodology. The instruments utilized in this study include mathematical procedural fluency assessments, metacognitive questionnaires, and interviews. The participants comprised three students from class VII of SMP Muslimin Samarang, each demonstrating fluent criteria in mathematical procedural fluency. The findings revealed that despite sharing the same procedural fluency criteria, the subjects exhibited varying metacognitive criteria: subject S1 displayed strong metacognitive criteria, subject S2 showed moderately strong metacognitive criteria, and subject S3 exhibited weaker metacognitive criteria. Several alternative strategies can be implemented to enhance learning and foster procedural fluency in relation to metacognition, including the use of diverse learning models, the development of instructional materials, the creation of culturally relevant questions, and the incorporation of engaging learning media.
