Abstract

Indonesia's demographic data shows that the percentage of young people over 20% or about 60 million Indonesians is at a young age. This potential greatly determines the progress and character of the nation in the future. The swift influence of globalization through the media has a positive and negative impact on the growth and behavior development of the younger generation. One of the negative impacts facilitated by the spread through the media was deviant behavior that occurred in various parts of the world which was later imitated by young people in Indonesia. Drug abuse, sexual behavior outside of marriage and sexual orientation deviation or known as LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender). This study aims to detect the opinions and understanding of adolescents about the importance of healthy reproduction as an effort to prevent early sexual behavior deviations. The study population was middle school students in Bekasi Regency, as many as six sample schools were selected using the random sampling technique. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that 70% of female adolescents in Bekasi maintain their reproductive health behaviors while 57% of men pay attention to their reproductive health behavior. The results of adolescent sexual deviation behavior from this study were as many as 10.9% of teenagers had masturbation, and there were 5.1% of teens wanting same-sex lovers.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19, perlu dihadapi dengan beberapa sikap-sikap baik ilmiah dan non ilmiah pastilah akan beredar di berbagai kalangan masyarakat sebagai bagian sikap berpikir untuk mengetahui dan memahami pandemi tersebut. Baik itu pengetahuan dan sikap perilakunya. Tujuannya untuk menganalisis masyarakat dalam menghadapi pandemic covid-19. Metodenya adalah deskriptif, menggambarkan sesuai dengan keadaan dengan survei angket yang disebarkan melalui google form. Hasilnya jawaban dari pertanyaan mengenai pengetahuan yang membahas tentang apa yang diketahui mengenai covid-19 yaitu lebih dari 75% responden menjawab mengetahui tentang penyebab, penyebaran, gejala dan pencegahannya. Hal ini dikarenakan karena pemberitaan informasi mengenai covid-19 tersebut setiap hari selalu muncul dan dari awal wabah ini selalu update informasi yang diberikan khususnya dari pemerintahan dan informasi melalui sejawatnya sehingga masyarakat lebih dari  75 % mengetahui mengenai covid-19 secara rinci baik dari segi penyebab, penyebaran, gejala hingga pencegahannya. banyak informasi-informasi mengenai covid-19 dari berbagai media yang diperoleh oleh berbagai kalangan masyarakat Dan hanya sebagian kecil yang tidak mengetahui pengetahuan tersebut..

Abstract

ABSTRAKKebutuhan akan pemanfaatan minyak goreng selalu meningkat dalam penggunaannya, hal itulah membuat limbah jelantah hasil dari minyak goring tersebut semakin meningkat. Namun minyak jelantah tidak baik jika digunakan berulang kali karena seharusnya penggunaannya tidak boleh lebih dari tiga kali. Melihat hasil survei juga ditemukan bahwa Minyak jelantah belum banyak dimanfaatkan oleh warga aisyiah cabang jagakarsa. Hal lainnya menurut survei bahwa masih dijumpai jentik nyamuk di penampungan air pada lingkungan warga sekitar apalagi musim hujan, maka perlu adanya upaya untuk peningkatan pengetahuan, kesadaran tentang kesehatan untuk mengurangi dan menghilangkan nyamuk.  Dari permasalahan itulah maka diberikan pelatihan pembuatan lilin ramah lingkungan sebagai pengusir nyamuk di aisyiah cabang jagakarsa dengan memanfaatkan limbah minyal jelantah. Langkah-langkah pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu: 1) penyampaian langsung mengenai perizinan kepada mitra aisyiah cabang jagakarsa, 2) Pemberian materi mengenai minyak jelantah dan pemanfaatannya, 3) pelatihan pembuatan lilin aromaterapi ramah lingkungan 4) evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian. Target lainnya diharapkan dengan adanya sosialisasi serta pelatihan maka akan memberikan banyak manfaat dan memudahkan mitra dalam memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga serta berdaya jual tinggi. Kata kunci: minyak jelantah; lilin; lingkungan; pengusir nyamuk ABSTRACTThe need for the use of cooking oil is always increasing in its use, that's why the used cooking oil waste from cooking oil is increasing. However, used cooking oil is not good if used repeatedly because it should not be used more than three times. Looking at the results of the survey, it was also found that used cooking oil has not been widely used by residents of the Jagakarsa branch of Aisyiah. Another thing, according to the survey, is that mosquito larvae are still found in water reservoirs in the local community, especially during the rainy season, so efforts are needed to increase knowledge, awareness about health to reduce and eliminate mosquitoes. From that problem, training on making environmentally friendly candles as a mosquito repellent in the Aisyiah Jagakarsa branch was given by utilizing used cooking oil waste. The steps for implementing this service activity are 1) direct delivery of licensing to partners in the Jagakarsa branch of Aisyiah, 2) Providing materials on used cooking oil and its use, 3) training in making environmentally friendly aromatherapy candles, 4) evaluation of service activities. Other targets are expected that the socialization and training will provide many benefits and make it easier for partners to utilize household waste and have high selling power. Keywords: cooking oil; candle; environment; mosquito repellent

Abstract

ABSTRAKUpaya pemerintah dengan memberikan vaksinasi kepada warga masyarakat sebagai bentuk pencegahan covid-19 masih dirasa pro dan kontra oleh masyarakat, menurut survei masih banyak warga yang masih takut tentang keampuhan serta kefektifan dari vaksinasi tersebut. Faktor lainnya juga karena terdapat pemberitaan yang tidak sesuai yang banyak beredar sehingga masyarakat masih belum banyak yang mengetahui lebih jelas mengenai vaksinasi tersebut. Untuk meluruskan hal tersebut maka perlu adanya edukasi mengenai pentingnya vaksinasi covid-19.Hal ini bertujuan agar khususnya warga aisyiah ranting kukusan memperoleh informasi yang sesuai serta tidak ada lagi ketakutan mengenai pemberian vaksin. Selain itu dilakukan juga pelatihan pembuatan disinfektan kepada ibu-ibu warga aisyiah kukusan depok sebagai upaya pencegahan covid-19. Beberapa langkah yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu 1) sosialisasi langsung mitra aisyiah ranting kukusan depok 2) pemberian edukasi mengenai vaksinasi covid-19 3) pelatihan pembuatan disinfektan 4) penyemprotan lingkungan lembaga 5) evaluasi akhir kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan ini bahwa mitra dapat memahami dengan jelas yakni mengenai vaksinasi, cara kerja vaksinasi, kriteria yang boleh dan tidak boleh di vaksinasi, reaksi vaksinasi terhadap tubuh dan herd immunity serta pembuatan disinfektan. Kata kunci: edukasi; vaksinasi; covid-19; disinfektan ABSTRACTThe government's efforts by giving vaccinations to citizens as a form of prevention of COVID-19 are still considered pros and cons by the community, according to the survey, there are still many residents who are still afraid about the efficacy and effectiveness of the vaccination. Another factor is because there is a lot of inappropriate news circulating so that many people still don't know more clearly about the vaccination. To straighten this out, it is necessary to provide education about the importance of covid-19 vaccination. This is intended so that especially the residents of the Steamed Branch Aisyiah get the appropriate information and there is no more fear about giving vaccines. In addition, training on the manufacture of disinfectants was also carried out for the women of Aisyiah Kusan Depok residents in an effort to prevent COVID-19. Several steps were taken in this service activity, namely 1) direct socialization of aisyiah partners of the Depok Steam Branch 2) providing education regarding the covid-19 vaccination 3) training on making disinfectants 4) spraying the environment of the institution 5) final evaluation of the activity. The result of this activity is that partners can understand clearly about vaccination, how vaccination works, criteria that may and may not be vaccinated, reactions to vaccination against the body and herd immunity and the manufacture of disinfectants. Keywords: education; vaccination; covid-19; disinfectant.

Abstract

Environmental education must be continuously educated, especially in the knowledge of plastics and their use; therefore, students need to provide more in-depth education about this, one of which is the development of biodegradable plastics as environmentally friendly plastic materials. This knowledge education activity will provide many benefits and make it easier for partners to protect the environment and increase creativity in making edible plastic films to overcome environmental problems. The method used is active learning by participants with socialization steps, material delivery (education), and the practice of making edible plastic films. As a result, 100% of partners revealed that the service activities were beneficial and said that making edible plastic films was very easy even though there were fewer familiar materials. --- Pendidikan lingkungan harus diedukasikan secara terus-menerus terutama dalam pengetahuan plastik dan penggunaannya, maka dari itu lah siswa-siswa perlu di berikan edukasi lebih mendalam tentang hal tersebut salah satunya merupakan pengembangan plastic biodegradable sebagai bahan edible film plastik ramah lingkungan. Tujuan adanya kegiatan edukasi pengetahuan ini akan memberikan banyak manfaat dan memudahkan mitra dalam menjaga lingkungan serta meningkatkan kreativitas dalam memmbuat edible film plastik sebagai upaya mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah  participant active learning dengan langkah-langkah sosialisasi, penyampaian materi (edukasi) serta praktek pembuatan edible film plastik. Hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan bahwa 100% kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat bermanfaat dan mengatakan pembuatan edible film plastik sangat mudah meskipun ada bahan yang kurang familiar.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are one of the 21st-century life skills. The development of students’ creative thinking skills is important as a learning goal. However, learning in schools still tends to prioritize short-term learning outcomes on product dimensions only. The mind mapping method in blended learning activities with the help of Microsoft 365 provides space for students to develop their creativity. This study aims to develop students' creative thinking skills through the Microsoft 365-based mind mapping method. A total of 68 students from public high schools in Jakarta were sampled in this experimental study. The results showed that there was an increase in the indicators of students' creative thinking in the experimental class on indicators of originality of 70.3%, flexibility of 61.3%, fluency of 30%, and better than the control class. Microsoft 365-based mind mapping learning can be used as an alternative in creating a learning atmosphere that develops creative thinking skills because students have the authority to arrange concepts to be conveyed by choosing words that represent concepts, through colors and appropriate forms of symbols. with student creativity. Microsoft 365 has features that can facilitate interaction in class, as well as reach individual student needs through the personalized section in the one-note feature. Other features, such as Microsoft Sway, Microsoft Forms, and Microsoft PowerPoint 365 provide full support for classroom learning interactions with the mind mapping method

Abstract

The purpose of learning planning is to ensure that instruction is organised and carried out in a way that achieves the aims of the curriculum. Before settling on the Merdeka Curriculum, the Indonesian school system went through at least eleven curricula. An essential skill for any educator is the ability to craft lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum at any given time. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method using data from learning plan documents made by prospective biology teachers and analyzed by researchers based on the emergence of science process skills. The analysis process also uses the National Education Standard document on Merdeka Curriculum. The results of this study are: 1) lesson plans made based on the curriculum before K13 and the Merdeka Curriculum had around 8-15 pages, while the lesson plans based on the revised 2013 curriculum and the Merdeka curriculum were 1-1.5 pages. The material and evaluation of learning in the lesson plans for the revised K13 and the Merdeka Curriculum are provided using links or barcodes. 2) the discovery of process skills indicators in the form of basic process abilities and the ability to integrate processes into learning objectives. 3) lecture methods, online learning resources, and multiple choice questions are the most widely used in lesson plans. In the lesson plans analyzed, there has not been an explicit finding of product or project-based learning activities characteristic of the Merdeka Curriculum's learning process.

Abstract

Pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam masih banyak yang menggunakan metode satu arah. Pengajar masih belum banyak menggunakan metode yang bervariasi. Selain itu, penggunaan media juga sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran yang melibatkan aktivitas siswa dan menarik serta menyenangkan siswa sehingga siswa akan memperoleh kemampuan yang baik. Oleh karena itu, solusinya pendidik dan peserta didik di lapangan harus dapat mengembangkan kegiatan salah satunya dengan pembuatan herbarium serta identifikasinya, maka tujuan pembelajaran akan tercapai dengan sempurna. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pelatihan ini adalah dengan survei, pendekatan kepada mitra yang dituju, melaksanakan pelatihan dan evaluasi. Hasil kuesioner yang disimpulkan adalah 100% peserta pelatihan menyatakan kegiatan pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat bermanfaat karena dapat mengetahui cara membuatnya sehingga membuat tertarik peserta pelatihan untuk membuatnya sendiri.

Abstract

The 21st-century learning has undergone a paradigm shift in education from teacher-centered to student-centered. It recently emphasises students' critical and creative thinking abilities, effective communication, innovation, problem-solving, and collaboration. This study examined the Ricosre model's effectiveness with the Question Formulation Technique (QFT) in enhancing students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) and science literacy. It involved 296 fifth-grade students from three selected state elementary schools, chosen through cluster random sampling. Each group consisted of 148 students divided into control and experimental groups. Data were collected through multiple-choice and essay instruments and subsequently analysed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The research variables were students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) and science literacy. The results indicated that the Ricosre model with QFT effectively improves students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) and science literacy, as it encouraged active participation during the learning process, trained students to develop questioning skills, find answers, analyse, share ideas, and draw conclusions. Thus, it can foster curiosity and metacognitive abilities among students.
