Abstract

This research aims to develop the Reflective-scientific Learning Model to accommodate 21st-century learning skills in learning history. The ADDIE instructional design was used as the research method to develop the learning model. The research participants were 120 senior high school students. The Reflective-scientific Learning Model consists of five learning stages: historical engagement, critical-exploration, communicative-explanation, creative-elaboration, and reflective evaluation. The research results prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed learning model in improving students' 21st-century learning skills in the learning history process. It means that the developed learning model can accommodate the needs of the 21st-century learning skills and the learning history objectives. Based on this research, the authors highlight that the elaboration of the learning model can provide a space for synchronizing learning history objectives with other educational concepts from various disciplines. Thus, further research and development in the history education landscape should provide more opportunities for elaborating the learning models to amend the role and impact of learning history in the 21st century.

Abstract

The economy of Indonesian society and the unemployment rate of school leavers increased and with the coronavirus outbreak that required many workers to be laid off. This problem became the center of attention in the era of the covid-19 outbreak. This research is shown to obtain an overview of the entrepreneurial attitude of learners in implementing digital historical learning-based learning materials. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The type of data used is primary data through interviews to teachers and questionnaire scales to learners to find out entrepreneurial attitudes. As well as literature studies relevant to the research title for literature review. The results of the study are digital teaching materials about the history of rubber plantations based on experiential learning is very good applied to learners in providing entrepreneurial discussion and observation experience for the nation's economic problems into indonesia's golden generation.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the relationship between reading interest of textbooks, independence of learning, and cognitive learning outcomes of students in history learning. The ex-post facto based on the quantitative approach was used as the research method. The population in this research was eleventh-grade students in State Senior High School Kebakkramat with a total sample of 78 students taken by simple random sampling. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and documents. The results of the research showed that (1) there was a positive and significant relationship between reading interest and students' historical cognitive learning outcomes; (2) there was a positive and significant relationship between learning independence and students' historical cognitive learning outcomes; and (3) there was a relationship between reading interest and learning independence simultaneously with students' historical cognitive learning outcomes. Based on the results, it can be pointed out that the reading interest and independence should be improved through appropriate learning sources and models to enhance students' cognitive learning outcomes.  Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara minat baca buku teks, kemandirian belajar, dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran sejarah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Kebakkramat dengan jumlah sampel 78 siswa yang diambil secara simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah angket dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara minat baca dengan hasil belajar kognitif sejarah siswa; (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemandirian belajar dengan hasil belajar kognitif sejarah siswa; dan (3) ada hubungan antara minat baca dan kemandirian belajar secara simultan dengan hasil belajar kognitif sejarah siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat dikemukakan bahwa minat dan kemandirian membaca perlu ditingkatkan melalui sumber dan model pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.

Abstract

Sejarah merupakan mata pelajaran yang kerap dianggap membosankan terutama oleh siswa di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), tidak terkecuali SMA di Kabupaten Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. Kebosanan umumnya disebabkan karena materi sejarah yang banyak, cenderung hafalan, dan proses pembelajaran yang monoton baik dari segi model, metode, teknik dan soal-soal yang digunakan oleh guru. Soal sejarah dianggap kurang variatif karena kerap menampilkan tipe pilihan ganda dan uraian standar. Akibatnya, siswa kurang berkembang dalam mengoptimalkan daya pikirnya yang potensial. Untuk itulah Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah UNS menginisiasi adanya pelatihan penyusunan soal-soal HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) sebagai bekal penting bagi para guru sejarah SMA di Karanganyar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan, pendampingan dan penugasan. Lewat pelatihan ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: Pertama, guru sejarah harus memahami pengertian, tujuan dan arti penting penggunaan soal-soal berbasis HOTS dalam pembelajaran sejarah abad 21. Kedua, guru sejarah harus memahami berbagai tipe soal sejarah seperti esay, multiple choise, true-false, completion, short answer, dan penugasan. Ketiga, guru sejarah harus berlatih menguasai ketrampilan menyusun soal-soal sejarah variatif berbasis HOTS. Keempat, mengimplementasikan soal-soal sejarah variatif berbasis HOTS tersebut dalam pembelajaran sejarah SMA sehari-hari sehingga menjadi sebuah habit (kebiasaan).

Abstract

Abstract: : Sukuh Temple and Cetho Temple are relics of high value and inherit the values of life for the surrounding community. Archaeologically these two temples have differences. On that basis, the problem in this study is how to compare the history of Sukuh Temple and Cetho Temple as well as from architectural and cultural aspects. This article then aims to explain the similarities and differences in the historical, architectural and cultural aspects of Sukuh and Cetho Temples. The research method used is qualitative with an exploratory study that is descriptive naturalistic in nature. The results showed that the Sukuh and Cetho Temples were built during the Majapahit Kingdom. In the architectural aspect, Sukuh and Cetho Temples have similarities and differences related to the shape, location and arrangement of the reliefs. In terms of cultural aspects, the people around Sukuh and Cetho Temples have local traditions and culture, namely Grebek Sukuh, Ruwatan Tradition, Galungan Ceremony, Dawuhan, Pancawali Krama and Medang Siang. This tradition contains religious values, mutual cooperation, togetherness and tolerance values.Keywords: Sukuh Temple, Cetho Temple, History Aspects, Architecture, Cultural.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Increase the historical awareness of class VII D students of SMP IT MTA Karanganyar even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year through the implementation of Social Studies learning model Project Based Learning with virtual media of Sukuh temple. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2 cycles. Cycle 1 was carried out on June 15, 2020 and Cycle 2 was carried out on June 22, 2020. The research subjects were Class VII D students of SMP IT MTA Karanganyar, totaling 32 students. The data collection techniques used were test and non-test. The research instruments were historical awareness questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.The results showed that the implementation of social studies learning model project based learning with virtual media of Sukuh temple can increase historical awareness of class VII D students of SMP IT MTA Karanganyar even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The mean historical awareness set from school was 70 (75%). After being given the action for two cycles, the average result of historical awareness in pre-cycle 39 (low) or 66% (21) of low history awareness students, cycle 1 increased to 60 (moderate) or 28% (9) of high historical awareness students and 72 % (23) students of moderate historical awareness, cycle 2 increased again to 73 or 66% (21) students of historical awareness were high, 25% (8) of students had very high historical awareness. This achievement has exceeded the target set, which is an average of 70 or 75%. The increase in historical awareness from cycle 1 to cycle 2 was 22% and from pre-cycle to cycle 1 was 54%. The findings of this study are that the implementation of social studies learning model project based learning with virtual media of Sukuh temple can increase historical awareness of class VII D students of SMP IT MTA Karanganyar in the 2019/2020 academic year.
