Learning is the most important part in the world of education. The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered the learning process. The ministry suggestion to impose distance learning has resulted in various schools changing the procedures for the learning process. One of the schools in Demak Regency, namely SMK Negeri 1 Sayung, created a software-based application to overcome distance history learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The application is known as Saygo-Learn. saygo-Learn functions as a distance learning tool that contains learning materials and assignments for students. The use of the Saygo-Learn application is considered effective in improving student learning outcomes. the distance history learning process using Saygo-Learn also helps educators to foster the development of students when participating in the distance history learning process.Â

This study aims to discuss the effectiveness of using the Moodle-Eclass application in the social studies learning process at Satya Wacana Christian Middle School. With the government's recommendation to conduct distance learning due to the Covid-19 outbreak, every school is obliged to provide application services that are used for the learning process, the use of moodle-Eclass at Satya Wacana Christian Middle School is to make it easier for students andteachers to manage learning.The use of Moodle-Eclass itself at Satya Wacana Christian Middle School shows the effectiveness of its use when viewed from its users which are more trusted by the school in managing student test exams, distributing materials, announcements and as a medium for collecting assignments. One of the problems found was that the interface was difficult for beginners to use, so a course or tutorial was needed to use it. but this application has the advantage that it has many educational support features and the use of test media that is easy for teachers to input school test questions.

Sendang merupakan sumber air yang tidak pernah mengalami kekeringan. Kebanyakan sendang di tanah Jawa bersifat sakral serta di hormati. Di Desa Tetep sendang adalah tempat yang di sakralkan dan di hormati dengan melaksanakan tradisi atau upacara adat. Tradisi Sendang di Desa Tetep dilakukan pada dua sendang yang biasa disebut dengan sendang Ki Godong mPlati, Nyi Godong mPlati, dan Ki Gambreng. Tradisi ini dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat Desa Tetep saat mengadakan acara besar. Tradisi Sendang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk menghormati dan meminta kelancaraan acara tersebut kepada Yang Maha Esa melalui perantara sendang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui makna dan nilai sosial-religius yang terdapat pada tradisi sendang pada masyarakat Desa Tetep. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini mengambarkan tatacara pelaksanaan tradisi sendang di Desa Tetep. Pelaksanaan tradisi menjadi pelestarian budaya lokal. Tradisi ini mengandung mitos turun-temurun yang dipercaya masyaratkat Desa Tetep. Mitos yang di implementasikan dalam budaya inilah yang membuat Tradisi Sendang mengandung nilai sosial-religius.

The purpose of this paper is to describe the establishment history of Benteng Pendem Cilacap and understand the function switch of it from the beginning until now. The central question of this study asks how is the function switch of Benteng Pendem from time to time. Therefore, historical method was applied in order to answer the question. Data for this research were collected using four stages: heuristic, source criticism, interpretation, and historical writing. The result showed that at first, Benteng Pendem was designed for military design of the Dutch-Indian government. However, at this current development, it was used for several function: 1) during the Japanese occupation, it was used as a military defense headquarters by Japanese soldier; 2) during the Indonesian independence, it was used as a place to practice for war and sea landing by the Indonesian national army (TNI) Banteng Loreng in Central Java; 3) at this time, Benteng Pendem Cilacap is one of Indonesia’s educational and historical excursion.

Penelitian ini membahas terkait keberadaan Lembaga Kemahasiswaan (LK) sebagai organisasi yang menjadi wadah bagi mahasiswa dalam sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang sedang mengalami konflik internal yaitu ketika dilaksanakannya pemilihan rektor Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) selama awal sampai dengan pertengahan tahun 1990-an yang di mana masa tersebut juga merupakan masa-masa pra reformasi. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan sumber-sumber yang relevan yaitu berupa wawancara, arsip serta literatur buku. Kemudian dilakukan analisis terhadap sumber-sumber berupa hasil wawancara kepada individu yang terlibat sebagai bagian dari LK, arsip-arsip berupa surat kabar yang terbit pada masa tersebut serta surat-surat resmi yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak-pihak yang bersangkutan pada peristiwa tersebut yang diperlengkapi dengan beberapa sumber buku. Hasil analisis terhadap sumber kemudian diinterpretasikan menjadi sebuah kesimpulan yang akan menunjukan gambaran umum terkait kemelut UKSW serta keberadaan dan peran LK sebagai wahana organisasi mahasiswa yang harus menghadapi gejolak baik dari internal maupun eksternal organisasi serta pasang surutnya kepercayaan mahasiswa kepada organisasi yang menjadi wadah berekspresi dalam lingkup istitusi pendidikan.

This research aimed to investigate the effects of the process approach in developing students’ skills in writing scientific articles based on historical folklore. The subject of this study were 90 Satya Wacana Christian University students during the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. A qualitative approach was used in this study. The primary source of the data was the teaching-learning process in an academic writing class using a process approach. The procedure applied in this research was planning, acting, analyzing data, and report writing. Data were collected using field notes, teaching-learning process documentation, and learning outcomes. The data analysis was conducted through a series of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing some conclusions. Based on the results and discussions, it was concluded that the process approach improved university students’ academic writing skills. This increase could be observed in both the process and the results. The process approach improved students’ activeness during the teaching and learning process, academic writing skills, and the classroom atmosphere. Hence, the implementation of the process approach can increase university students’ skills in writing academic papers.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class X/phase E SMA Negeri 3 Salatiga in economics subjects. This research includes collaborative classroom action research with a sample of all students in class X5 consisting of 34 students using two research cycles. The flow in each cycle is planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This study uses a quantitative approach with research instruments in the form of pretest, posttest, student activity sheets, and self-assessment to see the effectiveness of the TGT model learning process on learning outcomes. The results showed that, in the cognitive domain, there was an increase in learning outcomes with an average score of 76 for the first cycle and 81 for the second cycle, while in the affective domain, there was an increase in attitude with an average value of 80% in cycle I and 82% in cycle 2. Moreover, student activity was obtained from self-assessment through a questionnaire with an average score of 68.24% in cycle I and 81.76% in cycle II. Furthermore, the gain test result of 0.37926 is included in the medium category. It is suggested that the application of the TGT model can increase understanding and activeness in teaching and learning activities as well as for innovation and development through the application of the TGT model especially for teachers and for other researchers to develop a TGT model that is integrated with interactive media and technology.

Sekarang ini banyak masyarakat yang lebih memilih mengkonsumsi jajanan modern, seperti: kue balok, cupcake, donat modern, dll. dan mulai melupakan jajanan tradisional salah satunya yaitu jajanan dumbeg. Hal ini karena jajanan tradisional tersebut sudah jarang dibuat setiap hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat deskripsi atau gambaran mengenai Dumbeg sebagai simbol kearifan lokal masayarakat Desa genjahan Kecamatan jiken Kabupaten Blora serta faktor-faktor yang penyebab sulitnya menemukan dumbeg. Metode penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. bahwa faktor-faktor penyebab dumbeg tidak lagi banyak ditemukan adalah faktor tradisi yang berbeda di setiap daerah, karena makanan tersebut hanya disajikan pada saat acara tertentu saja. Seperti pada saat tradisi sedekah bumi. Pelaksanaan tradisi sedekah bumi ini dilaksanakan satu tahun sekali setelah panen tiba. Di Kota Blora tradisi sedekah bumi masih dilestarikan di setiap desa, banyak anggapan bahwa jajanan tradisional ini rasanya terlalu legit sehingga banyak masyarakat yang jarang menyukai jajanan tradisional ini. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang dapat diambil dari jajanan tradisional dumbeg yaitu nilai toleransi, nilai gotong royong, dan nilai religius. Beberapa cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengenalkan dan melestarikan jajanan tradisional dumbeg, antara lain adalah melalui media sosial, kegiatan praktek pembuatan untuk genasi muda, dan pemasaran di pasar tradisional.

This research aims to increase students' learning motivation in Class V Science and Science subjects at SDN Randuacir 02 Salatiga using the Teams Game Tournament model. The research method used was Classroom Action Research which was carried out over 2 cycles. The results of the research conducted showed an increase in students' learning motivation in the Science and Science subject, with an average percentage based on observations in the pre-cycle of 48.9%, an increase in cycle 1 of 76.3% and cycle 2 of 81.25%. The results of the student learning motivation questionnaire obtained a percentage increase from cycle 1 of 78.3% to cycle 2 of 82.3%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Teams Game Tournament model can increase students' learning motivation in science subjects at SDN Randuacir 02 Salatiga. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran IPAS Kelas V SDN Randuacir 02 Salatiga menggunakan model Teams Game Tournament. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan selama 2 siklus. Hasil peneltian yang dilakukan terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa mata Pelajaran IPAS memiliki hasil motivasi belajar siswa dengan rata-rata persentase berdasarkan observasi pada Pra siklus sebesar 48,9% meningkat pada siklus 1 sebesar 76,3% dan siklus 2 sebesar 81,25%. Hasil angket motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh peningkatan persentase dari siklus 1 sebesar 78,3% pada siklus 2 sebesar 82,3%. Demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Teams Game Tournament dapat meningkatkana motivasi belajar siswa mata Pelajaran IPAS di SDN Randuacir 02 Salatiga.

Tradisi Suran dilaksanakan untuk memperingati awal tahun baru Jawa, bulan Sura pada penanggalan Jawa dengan tanggal 1 Muharram pada kalender Hijriyah. Di Dusun Mulungan, Desa Nogosaren, Kecamatan Getasan, Kabupaten Semarang masyarakat menyebut bulan Sura dengan sebutan kawitane taun atau tahun pertama nenurut penanggalan Jawa. Tradisi Suran dilaksanakan untuk meminta tolak bala supaya tanaman berbuah dan hal-hal baik seperti: meminta rezeki yang melimpah, keselamatan dan tidak mengalami musibah. Menurut warga dusun Mulungan pada bulan Sura masyarakat perlu merenungkan, mendekatkan diri dan berdoa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Permasalahannya adalah apabila masyarakat Mulungan tidak melaksanakan tradisi Suran maka mereka khawatir akan terjadi musibah atau mara bahaya. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan latar belakang masyarakat Mulungan melaksanakan tradisi Suran dan maknanya bagi masyarakat. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tradisi Suran di dusun Mulungan dilatarbelakangi oleh ajaran Sunan Kalijaga yang disebut methukan (pertemuan). Maksudnya adalah mempertemukan dan mempersatukan umat Islam agar tidak terpecah belah, karena pada saat itu masih banyak masyarakat yang menyembah batu. Adapun makna tradisi Suran adalah dengan masyarakat mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, mereka mendapat keselamatan, selamat di perjalanan, bebas dari mara bahaya baik di rumah maupun saat bekerja
